Quinzel was rather annoyed at the moment. She was currently cuffed and sitting in interrogation room 3. It wasn't her favorite of the interrogation rooms. Room 1 was bigger but was usually disgusting from previous interrogations, 2 was about the same size as 3 but the chairs were wobbly, and 4 was practically a broom closet. She assumed it was mostly used for juveniles as Q sighed and shook her leg in impatience, rubbing her wrists as best as she could despite the cuffs that restrained the witch.

Quinzel (or Q as he often preferred being called) was having something of a mixed bag for her night. About 3 hours ago, she'd been called to the Garda residence concerning the possible possession of their 16 year old daughter, Emily. She'd been there for about an hour till she'd finally finished and been forced to burn the house down with young Emily's corpse inside. One drive across town later, she barged into the fraternity home of Sigma Iota Delta and had pistol whipped several college students. Did they deserve it? You could argue that they didn't since there was no proof but Quinzel had been given a confession by the demon that had tried tearing out of Emily's body.

Q had been brought in by a no neck officer, something about an anonymous tip concerning her time at the fraternity. This was perhaps true but she knew who was behind this, who would be coming in to interrogate her, who ALWAYS came in to interrogate her. One particular detective who was a rising star in the department and residential pain in Blackgate's ass. Don't get her wrong, Q liked the detective's tenacity. She was smart, capable, determined, just a monumental pain when she tried to do her job and tried not to seem suspicious. She didn't believe Q was a real exorcist and certainly didn't believe in the Life and she was out to prove Quinzel a fraud and put her behind bars. She decided that it probably wouldn't be a good idea for any records existing of what would likely be said. Q closed her eyes and focused her will, whispering quiet enough that the security camera and recorder couldn't pick it up.

"Adflicto affligo" she whispered, pushing her will out towards the camera and recorder. Q smiled at the camera as the light winked out. The recorder had been fried as well. A total dead zone. She looked up just as the good detective came in, files in hand.

"Detective, good to see you again. What's it been a week since we spoke last?" she said with a sly but confident smile. No point in resisting or being uncooperative. No one had anything on her, no real proof of anything really. She was very careful and despite the tattoos and leather jacket, she wasn't an idiot. She wouldn't be much of an exorcist or a witch if she was. Though Q would be the first to admit she did dumb things on occasion. Like make a dumb ass remark to someone like the detective who was currently armed and probably wouldn't have mind putting a few slugs in her just for shits and giggles

Hello!

So, as you can likely tell by the prompt above, I had an idea for a dark modern fantasy RP that would follow our characters. Yours being a mundane detective who has been dealing with one Quinzel Blackgate, a witch and residential pain in the detective's ass. She is certain Q is a criminal and a crackpot but no matter what they bring her in for, evidence seems to miraculously disappear, video files that should contain confessions are corrupted beyond repair. That is, until a gruesome murder occurs that involves someone the detective knows. A murder that is adorned with occult symbols and an ominous message scrawled in blood that simply reads "It's Nice to Be Back..." Initially, she is certain Q is either the perpetrator or is certainly involved. Q then tells her that she needs to drop the case because what she is looking for is not something she can stop. Not on her own anyway...

However, that is a brief summary of what is to come. Obviously there is more to it then that. Assuming you are interested, we would travel further down this rabbit hole as the detective becomes more and more entangled in Q's hidden world. What do you think?
