All right, let's get started. This is the OOC thread we'll be using for general chatter, feel free to introduce yourselves and establish any story connections before the game starts. I'll set up the IC thread probably later today. The character profiles thread is also up, please post your character sheet there - as per site rules you must have your character's name and age listed. The rules thread is set up here, please let me know if you have additional requests for rules.

If people want, I can also set up a Discord server for OOC chatter. I am more frequently available by Discord than on the forums, but I am not going to make this mandatory by any means.
 
Yo. Personally I'd prefer a discord, just easier to keep up with, but won't object to not having one.

I'll start. Kyrnse is in a delicate spot, being reliant on strict adherence to ritual (not her forte) to maintain her cover, not to mention her calm. She has been in the city for a while now, serving the crusade in a support role. So anyone who isn't fresh off the trail might already know her, and as a translator, she might have been part of the welcome for people who are. I don't know what the opening scenario looks like, whether we're meant to be assigned together or gathered in the chaos of a demon attack or what, so I can only offer vague speculation on the motivation to link up. But most of the characters are devout enough to be easy to direct.
 
Kasumi, meanwhile, isn't hiding who she is and is openly wearing her signet ring...though whether or not anyone will believe she's who she claims to be is another matter altogether, given that she used to be an aasimar, although at least she looks similar enough to her old self. She likely passed through Kenebras before, but that was a few years ago. She's only just arrived back in town and likely hasn't been there for more than a week.

I'm happy to discuss anything if anyone wants to sort something out, but it's likely going to be a recent thing and not a long-standing friendship, unless you're tian.

...but hey, if we're all strangers, we're less likely to help each other, and depending on the encounter, losing could be more fun in this game :p

Edit; And on that note, God we're a bunch of weaklings right now. I'm basically an escort mission until we hit 3 because my damage is so bad. At least I'll grow into being a solid evade tank as we level.

For Mavris, you'll most likely see her up in the frontlines with sword n' board at the ready, bashing and taking a bashing in return!

There's a good chance that might have been assigned to Kyrnse's unit as a sort of joint-operation between Sarenraean and Iomedean forces, so Mavris might already know her.

As for Kasumi, since she's passed through Kenabres before, that gives us two possible chances that her and Mavris might have met. They're both infernal-kin and martially-inclined, so they would probably find some common ground somewhere.
 
Hello everyone, wonderful to meet new people, and I'm certainly looking forward to this game. I'll throw my hat in for a Discord.

Character-wise, Ludovic has been in Kenebras for a little while, working with the Riftwardens and supporting the crusade from the sidelines for the most part. It's entirely possible he may have been attached to a group of crusaders as a sort of adviser on planar matters in the field.

In combat he's going to be more about control on the battlefield and debuffing than he is buffing.
