Andrew sat at the bar. At 44, he was divorced and had recently moved back to his home town after being away for years. He had looked up old friends on facebook and had found his 'ex' - a girl (at the time) who had been as wild as he had been. They were competitive with each other and, well, the sex was great. He had found her phone number and sent her a text. A few back and forths and she agreed to meet him for drinks - she was married, had kids, a family but would love to catch up with him. He couldn't wait to see her either.
He dressed in a nice polo shirt and a nice pair of designer jeans. He was sitting at the end of the bar, nursing a drink while he waited for her arrival. He felt nervous, like a first date, and wasn't entirely sure why. Maybe he wondered if there would still be sparks between them, if any of that attraction was still there. Maybe he was wondering if women still found him attractive, especially after his messy divorce.
