"Heyo? Are you still in there?" Eris waved a hand in front of him, trying to communicate with him. For a moment, the boy she had just started dating seemed to be... lost, or wandering in his mind or something. Sure, he was staring at her, but it was almost like he had become absent minded for a bit. Obviously, Eris didn't want to push too hard, figuring that he was just thinking of something to say. But after awhile, maybe he was trying too hard too? She figured it was his first date, but this was her first as well.

"So um... what was it you were saying about milkshakes?" she asked, moving her straw around in her chocolate milkshake he'd gotten for her previously. It was starting to melt so she kinda wanted to know what he started to say about them. Sure they were a bit fatening, but she didn't eat them THAT often! What could be going on in that head of his?

The reason Michael seemed do distracted before Eris waved a hand infront of him, was because he felt this was an impossible situation. Just the other day he had asked her out - a girl so pretty that most everyone in their class was intimidated by her, and he had to admit he was in the same boat. He probably stammered when he asked her out, being almost as shy as he is. But, that was no excuse for being as empty headed as he was. The wave in his face was all he needed to get un-zoned out, and he gave a light cough as he looked at the blonde.

"Oh, uh... Just that it was a while since i've had one, haha. Sorry, I just got lost thinking about something..." Something to say at least. He certainly wouldn't insinuate they were fattening, even if they were even he knew that was one hell of a way to get slapped in the face. "I know we're in the same classes and all mostly, but how are they going for you? The test last week was pretty rough in math, wasn't it?" Some small talk certainly helped.

When Michael finally came back awake, Eris could put her hand down, as she had been waving for several seconds in a row. There was a slight puffing up of her cheeks as if she was a bit annoyed that HE asked HER out on a date and then proceeded to go off into lala land. Still, she wouldn't hold it against him, as this was actually her first date and SHE didn't want to blow it!

"Oh haha, yeah that happens to me all the time as well!" Not really true, once in awhile but she was a girl that tended to be very focused, if naively too focused. It was what caused her to sit up straight in her seat and take a quick several seconds of break from talking as she slurped on her milkshake. "Uh... well.. I mean.. they weren't THAT hard... but they were trick questions. A lot of them."

The fact was that she tried so hard to be a good student but she somehow always messed it up. She was a solid C student, but that wasn't good enough for her parents. So she was kinda thankful when this nerdy guy came up to her and asked her out, as she had... well, social intentions were not purely what she was after.

"A-actually, I was wondering if you'd... um... want to help me with my work?" she asked, her cheeks flushing red with embarrassment. She had to admit defeat and ask him for help, something she really didn't like to do, just because she preferred to be the one helping.

Being it was his first date, he was well... Part him knew he was messing up. Not terribly, but just enough to make him feel uneasy and a little unsure of how to proceed. It was almost a relief that she mentioned the test not being that hard - he was a good student. The type who studied hard and applied himself consistently to get good grades. Sports were never his thing, so in between free time and doing whatever else he enjoyed, he studied.

"Help? Well, i'd be glad to. Friday or Saturday afternoon i'm free and would love to help out. I think he mentioned another test by the end of the month so we can cover what the test should be covering and I know you'll ace it." He wasn't usually the type to help others though it wasn't out of selfish reasons. he just... was never really approached for help, but being asked? He positively beamed with a soft but earnest smile. Taking another sip of his milkshake, he felt it was best not to stumble on such a good note. So while he drank, he thought on what to ask. "So..." Trying not to let his words come out faster than his thoughts, he did his best to just go with it. "What do you do outside of school? Got any hobbies?" he had heard to always let the other person talk about themselves on a date, it was suppose to be good advice, so it couldn't hurt to do that!

Seeing his willingness to help her actually startled her, as she wasn't really expecting such animated fervor out of him of all people. It caught her off guard and she twisted uncomfortably in her seat, needing a moment to adjust as her knee hit the bottom of the table. "A-Ahh... t-that's great!" she said with a forced smile, the stinging sensation in her knee really making her want to scream at the top of her lungs.

But it was good that he suddenly changed topics so she could have an excuse to quickly uncross and recross her pantyhose clad legs. "Ah well, yeah. I'm into theatre, you know. In the school play?" It made sense, she was cute and as he was finding out, she seemed to have the character for it. Maybe. "Hm... I guess I also like to swim but I think it's better with less people. So I take a swim at home."

So she had her own personal swimming pool? That had to be a perk! "Oh yeah, how about Friday? The sooner we go over this stuff, the better!" She quickly switched things up, having messed up the order of her answers due to the slightly more dulled sensation, now that she could squeeze her knee with her leg. "How about my house? My parents are leaving tomorrow on a vacation so we've got the house all to ourselves."

Unaware that he had been indirectly responsible for a slight injury on her part, he'd have felt guilty should he have known. But instead, he listened to her and as she spoke about theatre it did cross his mind that he recalled seeing her name on one of the theatre club posters, maybe a play they were advertising? He hadn't really paid attention to it, but she was giving him a good reason to now.

Perking up a little when she mentioned a swimming pool, he gave a quiet nod. "Friday sounds great. I can be there any time after school. So if you wanted me to come early, I mean I..." It took him a second to realize 'Don't have anything planned except for video games' sounded lame. "I'd be more than happy to help out early." Yeah, that sounded a lot better. "I'll bring my notes over too so you can copy them if you like." If there was one thing he could do to help, his notes were extensive... And extensively doodled on, hopefully not an issue.

Luckily, it didn't look like he noticed her rather klutzy move, and that made her happy at least. The last thing she needed was for him to think she was a spaz! "Great! I could really use the help, really!" Her smile was nice and bright for sure and with that, their plans were finalized for Friday afternoon. "So yeah, I'd like to do something for you in return, obviously. I don't want to be one of those girls who just gets your help for not-"

As she was talking, a beeping sounded out from her phone. She quickly picked it up. "Hi, Mom? Uh... at the mall... yeah, I'll be home soon..." Well they certainly weren't at the mall so... it didn't look like she had told her parents quite yet. Perhaps she didn't even consider this much of a date either... After hanging up, she quickly put her things together and closed up her bag. "Well looks like I gotta go. I'll see you around at school, I'm sure, but Friday for sure."

Now in a hurry all of a sudden, Eris quickly got up to leave. As she did, a sudden gust seemed to blow along with her, and it shoved her skirt up, just enough to flash him her cute purple panties under her pantyhose, but without letting her know. "See ya!" she said hurriedly as she turned to flee, but her skirt took an extra moment to come down. And the flash from behind was, he would swear, of a purple thong.

It had been a bit hard to know for sure through the dark fabric of her hosiery and the fact that it had been for just half a second. But... that HAD to have been a thong under there...
