● Literacy:
I generally expect an advanced handle on the English language, though you do not necessarily have to go full purple prose. I do understand that mistakes and typos happen, but I expect at least decent grammar and spelling.
● Post Length:
I tend to write however much I need to or feel like writing and that can fluctuate anywhere from 400 to 2,000 words depending on the story, the partner, and the situation. I will say that I tend to reflect my partner's post, so if you give me a paragraph or two, don't expect a novella in return. I do not accept one-liners under any circumstances.
● Response Time:
Please take your time with replies, I'm not in a hurry and I'd prefer to have something well-written to respond to when it's my turn again. I will strive to match my partner's frequency, but please be upfront with your expectations so I have an idea of how long the wait will be between replies.
● Duration:
I prefer long-term roleplays, but with a basic framework or outline set up before we get into it, so we have at least an idea of what we're aiming for with the story. That being said, I’m also alright with adding things as inspiration strikes, but within reason and without convoluting the plot.
● OOC Effort:
I do expect a decent amount of effort on my partner's part because I'm not really interested in breaking my back carrying the plot by myself or playing tour guide the entire time.
● Story vs Smut:
I like to keep things roughly around 70-80% plot and development and 20-30% smut. For my Explicitly Erotic ideas {which are presently off-site}, I am willing to go up to 80-95% smut with 5-10% plot.
*I have RP samples off-site if needed. -
● Genres and Settings:
My favorite genres are supernatural, crime-drama, or a mix of the two, but I also really like sci-fi and fantasy as well. I can do modern or fantasy, though I do not have much interest in historical plots.
● Where to RP?
Generally speaking, I'd prefer all RPs to happen on the forums, I don't have any interest in RPing via PM, Discord, or email. The one exception is my Explicitly Erotic plots {still off-site until I can add it here}, which I'd prefer to do over conversations.
● NO Godmodding:
IC or OOC. Basically, don't try to write out MC's thoughts, feelings, actions, reactions, dialogue, etc., I can write those myself. Also, I'm not a huge fan of characters that are way too overpowered for the sake of controlling the plot.
● NO Metagaming:
Using out of character knowledge for an in-character action. A general example is like if your character is:･ﾟ✧:･ﾟ✧ magically:･ﾟ✧:･ﾟ✧ aware of something they shouldn't know just because we know out-of-character.
● Multiple Threads:
I'm open to the possibility of having more than one active RP with the same partner if we're compatible and have built up a rapport.
● My Schedule:
I'm currently in Pacific Standard Time. I do have outside obligations and interests and ask that you be patient if a reply is taking a few days or weeks. If you'd like to give me a head's up for extended absences that would be appreciated, I'll do the same.

● I've had issues on other forums with my things getting taken and used by random people.
● As a forewarning, I'm really not okay with people using my plots, characters, graphics, templates, or anything else I've created for my request thread, RP index, character index, or my other reference threads.
● Most of my main characters have existed, in one form or another, since I was in high school, so it's extra cringey for me when I stumble upon what looks like instances of someone copypasting.

Synopsis:
The marriage between Corbin Stormbreaker and Gwenyth Greystar had been, to most, an ideal match politically and it helped that they genuinely liked one another. Unfortunately, soon after their marriage, Gwenyth died under mysterious circumstances, or that is what her family believes. In secret, the Greystars - who are a vassal house beneath the Stormbreakers - had begun to conspire against Corbin, who is unaware that his relationship with his former in-laws has soured.
Cue the arrival of Cedric Stormbreaker, uncle to Corbin and half-brother to Corbin's father, who was fostered by the Greystars for no other reason than he was born illegitimately. Cedric, claiming to want to aid his nephew following the death of Gwenyth, is granted a position as an advisor, though his motives are far from pure as he seeks to usurp Corbin's birthright with the aid of the Greystars.
Unaware of the conspiracy against him, Corbin carried on with his duties as lord of the castle. It was during an annual festival that things took a turn for the worst. During the festival, as the revelry began to wane, Corbin left the celebrations in the great hall to retire for the evening. Unfortunately, he never made it as far as his chambers as the sedative slipped into his goblet moments before takes full effect and knocks him unconscious.
Under the cover of darkness, the conspirators smuggle an unconscious Corbin out of the castle and to a nearby harbor where a ship is waiting. The uncle, and key members of the Greystar family, offer a notorious pirate captain, YC, a substantial sum of money, a letter of marque, etc. to ensure they never have to worry about Corbin again.
Notes: Corbin is sometimes a vampire, but it's probably better for this plot if he isn't. Also, he isn’t necessarily one to bottom/sub easily. I’m also cool with YC being morally grey or evil if you want to go a little dark side, but not so much that the plot is a drag to RP.
- ● Vampires and other supernatural creatures are not common knowledge in these worlds, so MCs have no reason to suspect YC is anything other than an ordinary human upon their meeting (unless YC is likewise not an ordinary human).

Synopsis:
Rythan is just going about his unlife, finding things to keep him occupied so he doesn't take a long walk into an early morning sunrise, while ensuring he has plenty of fresh blood. Tonight he just happens to decide to visit a local nightclub where he encounters YC, who may have been dragged there by his friends, because honestly who spends Friday night alone?
In any case, YC and Rythan meet and they seem to hit it off, or so YC thinks as Rythan agrees to go home with him. Little does YC realize, from Rythan's point of view, his next meal just invited him into his home with next to no prompting.
Once they arrive at YC's place, it becomes obvious that they both have different expectations of how the night is supposed to proceed. Rythan, not realizing YC is a necromancer, immediately goes ahead with his dinner plans, only those plans are quickly derailed. Before Rythan can take a bite out of his next victim, YC realizes what he is and stops him by using necromancy (a spell, or a voice command backed with some necromantic magic, whatever works for you).
Realizing he has a vampire enthralled, at least for the moment, YC comes up with a somewhat unconventional plan. Rather than releasing Rythan, or doing anything particularly nefarious, he decides that he wouldn't mind having a vampire boyfriend, or at least he'd like for his friends and family to stop setting him up on blind dates and worrying that he'll die alone. Rythan, of course, is far from pleased by the arrangement.
