• Backstory: Yvette Lepette is generally unremarkable. She grew up in a village not far from the big cities, but far enough that she mostly lived the rural life. Though she's half elf, (she supposed) both parents are human--her father had her with some mysterious lady when he was lost in the woods before he married, and Yvette was supposedly dropped off at his doorstep after birth. Otherwise, she had a normal childhood with her ten younger (and human) siblings.

During one trip into the city, certain people from the mage academy took interest in her, and suggested she attend. Perhaps she wanted to get out of village life; or help her parents by giving them one less mouth to feed; or maybe the prospect of learning so many new things was too intriguing, but soon Yvette was enrolled into the academy.

Despite her humble origins, Yvette was a very quick learner, and many arcane subjects came naturally to her, thanks to her fae blood. Her aloofness and standoffishness, which weren't issues in her crowded home, meant she didn't make many friends, though she had a decent relationship with her professors. With few outside distractions, therefore, she threw herself into her studies. There weren't many tomes and scrolls on campus that she didn't sift through, and she absorbed it all until she became the wizarding apprentice that she is today.
• Personality: Yvette is a bit dull, and usually keeps her thoughts and feelings to herself. Growing up on a farm also made her stubborn and tough. That's not to say she's stupid: she's a fast learner and is eager to absorb new ideas, which helped her get into the wizards' academy.
• Ideal: To financially support her family.
• Bonds: Mother, Father, 8 younger sisters, 2 younger brothers.
• Flaws: Introverted, Stubborn, Dull, Distant/Standoffish, Bashful.

• Backstory: Sienna is a young half-elf girl who is just starting to head out onto her own adventures. Growing up Sienna was raised by Baz Copperpot, a dwarven cleric of Adrasteia after he rescued her from the side of the road at age 8. Her biological parents had been killed shortly before his arrival in a bandit attack the girl barely survived. Baz decided his timely rescue of Sienna was a sign from the divine, and took her in himself without question. While Baz trained her in his clergy duties she would barely remember the basics of prayer. Her only interest in his religion was when the dwarf would recount the stories of ancient saints and heroes from days long past.

Before long she found her real calling in learning swordsmanship to protect herself and others. Without many trainers available in the small town of Moldspire the girl enrolled in a bard's college two days travel inland. She refused to let her adoptive father pay the membership fees, and earned every copper from odd jobs and small bounties. "You've done so much, and I've done so little." she had insisted. The work ethic he had instilled in her paid off when the bards declared they could teach her nothing more that experience wouldn't provide. Finally feeling able to take care of herself and tired of making her father care for her she left her home behind for adventure.

Distinguishing Marks: Skin is cool to the touch.
Backstory: Milvena Nesalee is a scion of nobility, born the 4th of 6 children to the union of her parents, and the one in whom the family's old draconic roots manifested the most strongly. She lived a life of privilege and success, a life in which she worked to hone her talents and to learn to use them. As the member of her family in whom the old magic was the most potent, Milvena is expected to one day serve as the magical adviser and confidant to her eldest brother after he inherits the noble title of house Nesalee.

Officially her adventures are to see the world, to gain experience, and to learn so that she can better serve in her future advisory role to her family. In reality Milvena chafes at the idea that she will have to return to the stuffy old castle and keep her dreadful boar of a brother company for much of her life. There are far more important things in her opinion, like the fact that the old draconic blood in her family has grown weaker over time and finding a way to reverse the weakening, and her own desires to fully embrace her heritage if possible.

• Ideals: To transcend her feeble form and take on the legacy of her draconic blood.
• Bonds: Her connection to her family, even if she views her eldest brother as a dreadfully boring and uninspiring figure, she still has a deep connection to her family and desires to help them as well as herself. She is particularly close to her mother, and her younger sister, the youngest of the siblings.
• Flaws: Milvena is arrogant and proud, which often can get her into bad situations due to her hubris.

• Backstory: Brianna was born into a poor family in a small farm town. Her daily chores would find her tending to animals most of the time. When she still very young a travelling circus wandered through. Brianna joined as an understudy if for no other reason than to get away from the life she was living. Having a natural affinity with animals, Brianna would quickly find a place as the caretaker of the circus animals.

Brianna had a natural affinity as a healer, however the practice of magic was banned by the government. The circus allowed her a forum to practice her abilities as a healer while not being exposed to any outside censorship of the oppressive government. Brianna would cause a bit of trouble as she instinctively used her magic during a performance gone wrong. An animal was injured and Brianna was on the scene almost immediately. Doing what she felt was right, put not only herself but the rest of the circus in danger.

As the reports started to filter in of a magic user, Brianna could no longer continue with the circus. No longer willing to endanger the animals she had come to love, Brianna was set to turn herself in. A robed woman, who was a Priestess of Axeth, intercepted Brianna and instead would show her a different path. One in which she could continue to put her desire and abilities to a constructive path. Now ready to leave the temples, Brianna was gifted a Gigantula by the temple to remind her of her duties.

• Backstory: Lyric was raised in the capital city of Mordranyr, an orphan. Life in the city was not easy. With an overabundance of children, it became necessary to find ways to survive. Lyric was always the type to make friends finding strength in unity. That was hard to do when your friends keep disappearing. All but one. She was fortunate enough to grow up with another of her own kind but the two were vastly different in personality. Still, they kept each other alive. Lyric always had the latest news, while Annealer was more focused on survival. They shared knowledge, resources, and most of all, companionship with each other. Where Lyric would cause a distraction, Annealer would often use the opportunity to get food. When it was time for the older children to be sold off, Lyric always made sure Annealer knew who they planned to sell so that she could keep herself safe. She would have the same sort of protective nature with the other children as well, but there wasn't as much that she could do for them.

Eventually Lyric's sociability would be her downfall. It was discovered one day that she was a changeling, and she was quickly sold into slavery to a very well off military man in secret. She stayed with him for many years. He gave her many things, and kept her at his side at most times as his own little personal performer. But he was a cruel and paranoid man. He would lock her away every time he had to go away so that she couldn't use her abilities to manipulate her freedom. His staff would feed her until his return. One day, he didn't return. She went nearly a week without being visited by so much as one of his staff before one finally did come back for her, and set her free.

She and that servant stole everything they could and after a few very pleasant nights, parted ways. Among the things she stole was her viol. She adopted the name from her days in servitude, and only Annealer still remembers the name she wore before she became known as Lyric. She traveled back to the city she was raised in, playing music to keep herself afloat along the way. She wanted to find out whatever became of her old friend. But Annealer was long gone by then. Not long after, she joined the School of Bedazzlement, a prestigious bard's college in the city. It cost her everything she had stolen and earned but her viol, but it was a good start on a new life and career as an entertainer. Once there, her true nature was discovered, and she was given a goal she'd never have thought to pursue on her own.

• Ideal: Change - She believes that change needs to happen in order for her to survive and stay free, though she doesn't quite know where to start.
