As of late, I've really tired of the short one night to week long role plays that are all about smut. They're a bit played out for me and not really what I'm looking for anymore. Instead, I'm really interested in writing out a Romantic Story with someone. One that focuses more on the characters relationship and how they go through the world around them. Whether this will be a slice of life, fantasy, or any other setting is still to be decided but we can cross that bridge together later.
Anyways, hi! I'm Lefty. I'm gonna list a few things about me that I do and like my partners to do as well in our RPs.
~Like to Write. For me, Roleplaying is not just about the smut. I enjoy writing smut but more than that, I just enjoy writing. I like writing expressing posts that give my partner a insight into my character's mind. I like writing about how characters think, see, act, and feel during a scene. I enjoy writing and want a partner that likes it as well. A lot of people seem to use RP as a method of getting to the smut and having something hot to read. That's fine for the people that do that but it's not for me. I enjoy RP'ing because writing with someone who loves my character as much as I do is fun. Same for me loving their character. I want a partner that doesn't have to rely on just my responses to decide where the story goes. I want a partner that will surprise me and make me excited when I see they've made a post. I want a writer for a partner.
~Be Literate. Now this one has leeway to a extent. I'm totally aware English is not everyone's first language around here and that spelling errors can happen. If I have to read over your sentence multiple times to understand what it means though, that's where I have problems. As long as you just spellcheck your words, you and I will get along swimmingly.
~No One Liners. I know some people like to do IM roleplays and because of that they post shorter posts. I myself am a multi paragraph poster. I like writing details, what my character is thinking, feeling, so on and so on. I don't need you to give me a novel, (Though I will say that more is better for me. Shows you're into the RP as much as I am and that you're willing to push the content.) just give me something to respond to. We're writing together so if one person is doing all the work it ruins the story.
~PMs Only. I only RP through PM's, no Discord, Kik, or any other methods. I could be talked into Threads but would really prefer PM.
~Don't Just Respond. I've been in many a RP where the person writes well, we get along great, but there is one major problem. Their responses just consist of replying to what my character has done. We're both writing partners, we should both push the story along. Don't be afraid to leave a scene and even push it along to a new setting or add in a NPC or so on! If every single post is just your character reacting to what my character has done and there is no real progress on your side, it will kill ALL my interest in our RP. This isn't to say that I expect you to be the only one doing this either. If our characters are talking and the scene calls for it, that's totally fine! Just make sure that's not the ONLY thing you're doing. Expect the same from me. I don't expect you to be the only one pushing our RP along either.
~3rd Person. I really prefer to play in 3rd person. If I really have to I'll do 1st but I would much, much prefer 3rd.
~Kinks. Here is my Kink List (I've been meaning to update my f list but haven't gotten around to it.) though I'd rather you read this out before even looking at that. My kinks are VERY varied, it's honestly easier to say that I am not into Scat or Death in my RP's. Everything else is on the table. BUT! None of it HAS to be on the table. I seem to scare a lot of people away with some of my kinks but I don't have to have ANY of them in my RP to enjoy it. My longest running RP ever was two years in length and the smut was very vanilla. It's still to this day one of my favorites. I like when people want to get more kinky in RP but I don't need it ever. I find it's a lot easier to just go off what my partners kinks are. If they like something I'm sure I'll be into it, if they don't like something then they'll never hear about it in our RP ever.
OK, now that all of that is out of the way. Lets get to the fun stuff! The plots in mind I currently have aren't that thought out but I believe that's for the best. I'd rather give skeletons that we can fill in together and make something more fun for both of us. So please if you see something you like but have a few different ideas, feel free to toss them my way and maybe we can work out something fun!
-Swings by the Seaside.- The thing about being a slave is that hope never leaves, even when you really fucking want it too. It was hard to tell how long it had been, but he could remember the day he was kidnapped. You never think that letting your kid go over to the apple stand at the farmer's market will be the last time you see them, but it was for his parents. Just a little chloroform and then the man put him on his shoulder. Carrying him around like a kid having a temper tantrum before he passed out. Nobody even asked. Since then he had been passed around all over the world. Rich bastards who need boys to run guns or drugs to their men. He couldn't count the amount of times he'd almost been killed. He wanted to give up hope long ago, but there was always someone around who just wouldn't stand for it. They'd say how they'd find a way to get them out, they would swear. Weeks later, they'd be dead and he would be sold. Troublesome product wasn't worth the time. This last person that bought him, he kept the slave blinded for days. He had no idea what was happening, he wanted to just quit, to die, but there was still hope. There was always that damn hope. When he finally glimpsed his first sun light in a week, the man gave him a box with some food and water, and some sort of strange money. "You're free, they won't come for you here. I can't stay, there are still more that need out." The man left him at a park near a ocean and walked off. How was he to react? He had freedom but no path or idea of what to do with it. As night fell, he just sat on the swing with the box on his lap. As he was passing out, he heard a soft voice behind him. What language was she speaking? Should he run? Was she here to take him back? His eyes darted over her and then back to the box. His hand fishing in and pulling out one of the strange bills. His hand had scars all over it and shook like a leaf in a storm. Holding the bill towards her he tried to speak. Speaking, when was the last time he spoke? "...H-......Help?....."
A former slave is found on a beach in Japan. He can't speak the language, he can barely speak his own. Who finds him? Where do they take him? What do they do when a English man with little vocabulary who looks like a beat dog comes into their life? There's many things that could be played out here but I love the idea of someone coming back into the world and how that's handled. Plus there's still room for plenty of intrigue on your character's side. This would be a slice of life story in a modern setting. I had Japan in mind but could be convinced for somewhere else.
-The Prince and his murderer.- I've seen plenty of roleplays where some knight seduces or kidnaps a princess but never the other way around. I'd love to play against a big strong woman who kidnaps a prince. What for could be talked out but I like the idea that initially it's grim. Maybe royal blood is needed for some ritual, maybe they want to sell the prince off to a foreign country. Either way the two have a long way to travel and the prince is surprisingly willing. He knows what his captor has in plan for him but life was so incredibly dull back in the kingdom. He'd rather live a short life with adventure than a long one with nothing to show for it.
-Is it wrong to love your property?- In the far off future, life is good and easy. Only in this new era of human expansion, life can feel empty at times. There are not as many people around with earth being only one of many planets human's reside on. Because of this, companion robots were made. Simplistic humanoid like robots that will help you with your daily tasks. There are many upgrades that can be bought for them, even a sexual selection. Yet for one engineer, she wonders if there's not more. The A.I. she programmed seemed to be evolving with it's exposure to the robot body. She starts to take him out places, to try and connect with him more and help him develop but to the rest of the world it looks like she's taking her sex doll out to eat. Is she right? Is there something deeper to this construct? Or is it just another program inside of a steel body? All kinds of fun questions we can answer together!
