The night was cold and the air was moist. The ground was covered by a layer of mist, or fog, that made this already chilling night creepier. And the soft creaking of the carriage full of humans slaves made them more frightened. They could hear the distant howling of the wolves and the clanking of horse hooves into the ground surrounding them for protection. As well as their ears were filled by the swooshing and swishing of the metal barrels filled to the brim with human blood in the carriage in front of them. There was three carriage in total. Two stuffed and crowded so badly with humans that they had little air to breath, and the last one filled with metal barrels of human blood.

There was one vampire stained at the front of each carriage making sure the horses pulling it stayed in stepped with their vampire escort. They were headed on a long black road through the surrounding forest to the House of Kalion. The most hated coven of vampires around. To each carriage had been assigned four guards. Two on either side. And well, the only one that were an intricate design of black, white, and blue paintings on a mask covering their face was in the middle. Their armor oddly matched their mask, and their hair was not visible under the large helmet that had been placed over the mask. To someone outside, the vampire looked like a samurai warrior back in the old days. But in their right hand they held up a long thin slice of metal, a sword, with a blue embroidered handle with an ancient design on it.

"I can't believe Lord Sänctus sent you. We don't even know your name and by the looks of it your mute." The guard in front of the masked vampire said. The masked vampire only nodded it's head.

"Guess he's mute than, cut it out Marion." Came another creepily chilling male vampire's voice from behind that sliced through the silence. "Just keep moving!" He barked the order.

"I don't care who this guy is as long as he keeps in step and does as he's told." One of the vampires on the left side said at the very front. whispering into the wind back at them.

"Why does this Lord Sänctus do this every other two months...?" A female voiced in from the back of the group, the group laying in wait to ambush the soon to be passing carriages.

"Probably for his precious little ingrate half-breed.." A male sounded off near the front, "She's probably too weak to keep alive but Lord Sänctus tries his hardest to keep her alive so he gives her twice the normal amount of humans for a normal, pure vampire." The male continued, huffing once after he grew silent.

"Both of you shut it." Another male spoke, this one's tone more firmer then the last two voices. "No one knows why he does.. he just does. Now shut it and be ready. Why can't you two be like anyone else and keep quiet." Shaking his head softly, "Two bastards like to hear yourselves speak too much..." He muttered, his eyes fixed on the path. The small band of ambushers were really close to Kalion grounds, which should have given them more reason to stay quiet. A low guttural mutter repeated itself a few times, the male who ordered the two to shut it only sighed. "What did he say, Vincent?" Vincent only shook his head, "He's in a inbred... he said nothing that made sense." Vincent replied softly, how he understood inbreeds shocked damn near everyone. Everyone but their leader, the one who they were getting this blood for.

The band on the right side of the pathway, hiding in the trees and bushes, had been quiet the whole time. The band on the left had a few sparks in conversation. Laughing, jokes, rude comments, curses, threats. They all flew over on the left side, usually between the same two people. The female, Alica, and the male, Victor. of course, Vincent was the one to break up the fighting, laughing, joking, everything. He was leading a bunch of fucking children and one retard. Though, the inbred wasn't smart at all, it was very deadly with a weapon. Very deadly.

Vincent nodded to the inbred, watching him stand. Pulling the arrow back on the string, hearing it whip through the air. A low guttural murmur was released after the arrow pierced the head of the driver on the first carriage, "Bulls eye. Go. Move." Vincent spoke after the carriage's stopped. Giving a nod across the way to the vampires lurking in the shadows on the right. The cries from the human slaves alerted the guards of the carriages. Soon the clashing of swords rattled through the night air.

Swords pierced through the guards armor, some being pushed all the way through the body to pierce out the back of the armor. Sadistic smiles from the ambushers grew as they slaughtered the guards. Decapitation was the favored way the ambushers tried for. Only three exceeded in doing so, the others were simply killed violently.

Vincent rubbed his chin, "Where is everyone...?" He asked himself softly, turning around to look for everyone. He found the second band already moving out with the carriages, but, where was his band? Grunts and laughs alerted him toward the back of the third carriage. A low guttural tone followed the grunts quickly after. "What is going on over here?" Vincent asked, "Look. A female." Victor quickly replied, his smile growing more as his thoughts filled with sexual images. "Good thing to. She's a mute. Won't even scream. We've smacked her a good few times, felt her up. Nothing. Not a scream." Victor continued, his hands roaming the top of the female's torso as he knelt beside her. Alica rolled her eyes then huffed, "Men..." Vincent shook his head softly, "Cut it out. She'll be dealt with when we take her back to Lucius. Until then, none of you touch her.. again." Watching the males turn and move away, the inbred stopped at Vincent. Looking up at him, his guttural rumble echoing past the male. Vincent shook his head softly at what the inbred had to say, "Rude."

The male walked to the female, which seemed to curl up into a ball. Placing his hand on her shoulder, the male gripped the clothing she was wearing tightly. Dragging her up to her feet, his grip still applied to her clothing. "You shall be spared for now, female. Don't hope for the same forgiveness when we reach our Manor." Vincent spoke, pushing her forward to get her walking. Their horses were hidden in the trees, she'd ride on his, "Quit playing around and get to the horses. You all had enough fun..." Vincent spoke, cutting out the small child's play. The inbred, Victor and another male all picked up the masks from the guards and acted out the battle from the viewpoint of a guard. The male gave the female a shove every now and again, only when it felt like she'd attempt to break off and run. Which would simply turn to be fatal for her, he'd order the inbred to kill her.

The band reached their horses within a few minutes, Vincent had ordered one of the male's to tie the female's hands together prior to helping him get her on his horse. Of course, Victor volunteered to help put the female up immediately. Only so he could play grab ass and feel her up some more before her fate was decided. Vincent mounted the horse shortly after, removing the dagger from his side. Pushing the tip against the front of the female's torso. "You move any way that seems to be threatening to me, I will gut you." That would be his only warning. There wouldn't be any reason to give multiple warnings before killing her. At this very moment, she wasn't anything to them. They got what they wanted, this female was just an added bonus.

The Manor wasn't too far from where they were, they had traveled most of the way with no problems. The carriages had already reached the Manor, thankfully. The humans and barrels of blood would be used for the wounded and sick. The female would have to be waited on for a bit, until Lucius had enough strength to figure out what to do with her. Lucius being sick put a damper on the whole Manor, the leader was nearing the end of his road, so, everyone assumed that he'd pass leadership along soon. Who it would be was the question. Dismounting the horse, Vincent turned. His hand moving to the sides of the female, pulling her down quickly. Standing her up on her own feet, the male shoved her once. Walking behind her, every other vampire in the Manor stopped to look at the prisoner. They all grinned at her, a new meal they assumed. Vincent lead her through the Manor; up stairs, around corners, through hallways until they reached Lucius' section of the Manor. Pushing the door open slowly, Vincent watched the caretaker move from Lucius' bedside to a table. Grabbing a small vial. A cough echoed through the room from the sickened Vampire. "My boy..." The male spoke, his cough worsening. "What have you brought me? My vision is fading faster and faster each growing day." His tone of voice showing the male had not much time left in him, "A female was guarding the carriages, mi'lord. We brought her back so you could tell us what to do. We've never witnessed a female guard before.. no one knew what to do besides try to make her talk, which failed. " Vincent lead the female toward him.

A small laugh began to stir within the sicker vampire, "You've captured the princess.. ha ha." Vincent cocked his brow, "The princess? The half breed?" He questioned, the man nodded to his question. "What should we do with her?" "Put her in a spare room... for now. I shall decide later." Vincent nodded softly, turning the female toward the door. Shoving her roughly before opening the door, "Princess, princess, princess. How we will have fun with you." Vincent spoke softly, a sadistic grin appearing on his face as he led her down another hall. Pushing a door open, he shoved her into a empty room.. just a bed and a empty bookshelf.

When the arrow was struck and it sliced through the air. The masked figure rose it's sword indicating for them to halt. With a loud, PLOP! the arrow ran through the vampire who had been keeping the first carriage going heart. He grabbed the arrow, stared at in horror, and with one quick sweep, he pulled it out only to let blood gush out and kill him. The man had stood up, and then he fell off the front of the carriage being flatted by the wheels and weight of the barrels inside. His guts and head was squished everywhere and the men up front stopped the horses.

"QUIET!" Came the roaring voice of the commotion o mindless scared chit chatter. The man that had spoke in the very front, the leader, was the one that barked the order. The masked figure was the smallest of the guards and the only one that hadn't spoken a word the whole time. "Yup, he's definitely mute." A guard mumbled against the air to the other guard on the right side of the carriage they were both guarding. The leader listened closely to the trees and the wind, that's when the masked figures horse starting to bounce up and down. The masked figure tried to keep the horse under control, but with a quick sweeping motion, the leader was gone from his horse. The horse darted into the darkness naaing in horror, and the group fell completely silent.

The humans praying for a savior were the only noise in the rustling eerie silence when the next man was taken off his horse and vanished into the darkness without so much as a screech. Then they jumped out of the forest and attacked. Most of the guards were knocked off their horses and faught for dear life. But they torn to shreds in no time and the humans howled with frightened screams as a vampire jumped onto their carriage and indented the ruff. The two men behind the masked figure were the next off their horses fighting for their lives.

With one quick leap from the forest to the masked figure, they were thrown off their horse and smashed into the carriage full of metal barrels full of blood. The carriage leaned on it's side and the horses were drawn down as they tried to get away. The mask the figure wore cracked along the side, leaving a bit of the snow white skin visible underneath as they rose their sword. The creature had it's hands around the masked figures throat, squeezing as hard as they could. They leaned forward, the free hand of the masked guard was around the hands on it's neck trying to loosen them. But the figure made a quick movement and loped off the creatures head.

Blood was everywhere and the masked figure was covered in it. With quick motions of it's blade and hand, it tore into the vampires that had kept running after it. This figure was running the opposite way the carriage escort had been going, trying to get away. When a group of vampires had stopped the figure and it had mowed them down. The figure though it was safe to keel over in a bit of pain. Rain had began to pour from the night sky, washing the bloody forest ground around and making it look like the earth was bleeding and crying for it's lose.

Out of the forest a creature grabbed up the masked guard. The guard tried to fight it off, but it had gotten it's hands behind it;s head and flung it into the other creature that smashed it's fist into the side of the mask. The figure made a half circle as the mask shattered and reveled her beaten, bloody face. The men's expression had changed when she fell limply to the ground. But still, she faught back when they tried to rip off her armor to molest her and take her. But she had bruised them up and made them bleed. One of them had cruised her hands that sent her howling with pain. But as they talked to her, the words flooded into her ears, but she couldn't understand them. They were speaking a foreign language that none of her people had known. All the words that had been spoken was an exchange from an ancient language not many of the vampires still used. Still they beat her into the ground so she stopped crying. They hoisted her up and her head swished dizzily around as they pushed her forward, everything was blurry, too blurry that she couldn't understand what was going on.

They brought her in front of their leader, talking about her. Her hair was long and drenched, as well as thick. Now that there was no helmet to contain it, it swished lazily in chucks below her rear that was still covered in the armor. Her hair was a bright shocking blue, like manic panic's hair color, only her's was somehow natural. Her eyes were a bright sky blue. Her lips were full with a slight pinkish color to their snow white color, as were her cheeks that were high arched along with her blue brows. Her eyelashes were thick and long and she snickered when she saw their mouths move but couldn't understand them.

She wasn't exactly amused when they kept fondling her and she tried to fight back, but blood was spilling from large gashes on her sides, now exposed left shoulder down to her large breasts that were smashed down to make her look flat chested. There was also a large bleeding gash through her cheek.

"Cover that up!" One of the vampires called to the others holding his nose. He was a small thing, probably smaller than the woman that had just been captured. He looked to be about eleven or twelve, but his glowing eyes gave away his age. He had to be nearly a century old. With his white spiked out hair and glowing white eyes it was easy to tell who he was. Liox, one of the elders. "Her blood...it's disgustingly sweet smelling to me." He groaned.

The woman had slumped over the horse during the ride, her eyes had been shut and she had been breathing heavily. Clearly, she was in a lot of pain. But when the horse jerked to a stop, she jerked her body up and straightened her back. She watched the human slaves being lead into the manor as well as the barrels of blood, then she felt the chilling hands. She ground her teeth together and hissed as she was pulled down from the horse and pushed up the stairs into the manor. She ignored the smiles she was getting, her body leaving a trail of blood behind her as she groaned. This man behind her, the leader, kept talking, but she couldn't understand a word. She only heard mindless sounds seeping out of his lips into the air and it was confusing her.

When she was pushed inside and she heard the sniffling nearly dead cough, her eyes widened as she looked at the figure on the bed. How could they keep such an old vampire like this as what seemed to be their leader? How foolish of them! But then she watched their exchange, only seeing their expressions to know what had been told. There was one word that sounded in her ear she understood completely, princess. Then she was twirled around to look at the door and shoved through and lead through the halls. her head was spinning and she was limping terribly as she sighed from exhaustion. When the hand on her back was found and she was shoved through another open door, she just fell forward, tripping over her own wounded feet. Her head laid against the empty ground and she stayed there on her side the way she had fallen, too tired to move as she looked around as best she could without moving another muscle. Her rough jaw line tightened as she looked around and she felt uneasy.

Princess Lithium of Kalion. Trapped in an opposing vampire coven's manor without a clue how to understand or speak their language. Great.

Vincent moved from the newly found prisoner's door, walking down the hallway toward the living quarters. What exactly did Lucius have in mind? The possibilities were endless. Torture, use her for bait, sell her back to the Kalion House. Vincent only hoped for Lucius to decide quickly.. before his time in this world is up. Hearing the hobble of a inbred walk up behind him, Vincent stopped. They all spoke the same. In a low guttural roar, mutter, mumble.. nothing was ever clear for anyone else. For Vincent, he just knew what they were saying. Lucius knew Vincent was special from the first day he saw him, majority of the reason he took the male up under his wing. Taught him the histories behind every clan in the area, let him in his never ending supply of books within his library. For what purpose was always questioned by elders of the clan, those under Lucius who hoped they were past leadership of the clan. Their only intent was to rage war against Kalion and the half-vampire princess. What good would that do at this point in time? The half-vampire princess was in there Manor.

"Sir Vincent." A voice called from behind him, he had walked around the Manor a few times. Deep in thought mainly, "Yes?" He replied slowly, "Lucius would like to see you, he said it was important." Vincent only nodded. It was most likely what they'd do about their new guest. "You may leave. I will be there momentarily." The male spoke as his eyes turned to look down at the vampires lurking about the Manor. Shaking his head slightly before turning to head back toward Lucius' part of the Manor. Stretching slightly, Vincent continued to move up the halls toward Lucius' room. Lets just hope its nothing too minor. Wouldn't be fitting for our stature. Anything less then exploiting the female for her worth would be demeaning for everyone in this clan.. like they had grown weak while Kalion expanded in this day and age. Pushing a door open, Vincent stepped in slowly. The nurse who attended Lucius at all times walked back and forth from bedside to tabletop. She gave him everything from medicine to his daily shot.. to even giving him the blood he needed. Except, it was her blood. The blood from the barrels and slaves. Of course, their thanks was extended to Kalion for being so generous.

"Ah, my boy." Lucius began, coughing intensely before motioning for him to sit. "Sit, sit." The old wrinkled hand moving up to his mouth to cover up the coughing. "What is it, m'lord?" Vincent asked softly after sitting down in the chair at his bedside. Lucius gave him a weak smile, "Thats what I like about you, Vincent. You are right to the point." Letting out a small laugh before it was quickly pushed out of the way for another set of coughing. "My boy.. I want you to treat our guest like she was one of our own." Vincent's eyes widened immediately, quickly jumping from the seat to argue the point. "Never! She is a half blood vampire!" Vincent yelled in retort, Lucius only motioning his hand to sit again. "I knew you were to do that." Coughing more, "Master, we can not do that. We must use her for her worth. WE have the princess. Not some minor guard of Kalion." Vincent continued, a sigh passing his lips after sitting down once more. "Vincent, my time in this life is short. We are immortal, but, times there is stuff that even kills immortals." Pausing softly, "This hatred for the half blood.. who brought it upon?" Lucius questioned lightly, "You did, m'lord." Lucius shook his head lightly, "Did you or anyone else hear that from me?" Vincent cocked his brow slightly, though the male had no answer for his current question. Vincent heard of it when the female was born, by one of the elders if he could recall. "Master, she isn't one of us. How are we to just treat her like our own?" Vincent questioned softly, "Who says everyone but us is to know of her status? Vincent, you are a smart boy.. you can deceive anyone in this house that she is just a new slave and if a hair on her head is touched, you'll decapitate the person who did it." Vincent let out another sigh, "She is not one of us." Was all he could say, "Neither are you, Vincent." Vincent's eyes paid full attention to what this man was now saying. What did he mean not one of them?

"Vincent, my boy. You were never born in the house of Volan." Lucius paused for a slight moment, "I found you once you were still a young infant. The crying brought you to my attention. A infant vampire all alone in an abandoned village. I couldn't just let you stay there, so, I brought you with me. You were never born into this House.. I deceive people into believing." Vincent really didn't know how any of that played into what the male was getting at. "Believing what?" Vincent asked, Lucius coughed a few times before letting out a sigh. "Believing that you were born into this House.. I killed those who thought differently. I knew from the first day you began to talk with the inbreds that you were different. You would be the one to settle the differences between Volan and Kalion... or be the one to rule over both." Vincent stood up from the chair, the male really couldn't believe anything anymore. "Treat her like I treated you. One day, it'll benefit everyone." Vincent slowly moved to leave, "Remember, Vincent. You will rule one day." Vincent turned his head slightly to acknowledge him, nodding softly. "Yes, master."

Soon after Vincent left Lucius' room, the male began to wander what the male had just told him. He had been living here but... wasn't actually apart of the House? Shaking his head softly, how could he believe that? Just didn't seem right. Vincent had walked toward the laundry room, where some of their slaves worked to clean the clothing each Vampire wore for the day. Grabbing a set of the clothing for slaves; which consisted of a basic gray undershirt, gray long sleeve shirt, and gray leggings. It was for if they needed to be identified they would just mark with a brighter color on the gray to recognize who was who. Tossing the clothing over his shoulder, the male grabbed a rag along with a pale of well water. A whispering between the slaves was sparked because of what he was grabbing. "This involves none of your eyes to watch. If you wish to keep them, you will look away." Vincent spoke harshly, though it worked. Every single slave looked away. "Thought so."

Vincent walked down the halls, heading toward the princess's current quarters. He sighed every now and again, he didn't want to do this but something told him it was for the better. Turning the knob slowly, Vincent opened the door all the way before stepping in. Just incase the female was hiding off to the right to ambush him to attempt to get away. Not probable. She was wounded badly. Vincent thought to himself. Stepping inside, Vincent eye's roamed the room. Where was she? Stepping forward a bit, looking down. She was just laying on the ground.. "The bed would probably be more comfortable then the floor..." He spoke to her, tossing the clothing down from his shoulder to the bed. Placing the pale down next to the side of the bed. Turning slightly, the male batted at the door with his hand. Finally getting it closed completely, "Alright. Lets get you cleaned up... since Lucius believes it better for you to be treated well." The male muttered softly as he moved to sit her up against the side of the bed.

The whole cleaning her up wouldn't have taken so long if she would've actually cooperated. Seemed that she was struggling just to stay awake then want to change. Though, Vincent did the best job that she could possibly let him. The blood that dried up was gone, so, that wasn't a big deal. Any cuts she received from the ambush had already started to meld themselves back together. Pulling her up from the floor, the male had slipped the clothes onto her prior to moving her up onto the bed. "There. Finished." He spoke, rubbing the back of his neck slightly before moving the pale of water over toward the door. "Can you tell me your name?" He questioned as he moved back to in front of the girl. "I'm not here to hurt you. I just want to talk."

The house was filled with shrieking vampires in their ancient tongue. They were outraged and the king that sat amongst the high council knew all too well. His head was in his hands, and he crouched over in his large billowing black gold chair that stood above the other vampires with its intricate designs. But still, a his light blue hair rustled in the wind, he had no desire to believe the words coming from the scouts.

"Are you for certain?" Came the old man's voice. The king or Lord Sänctus looked to be in his late thirties and still was a beauty to stare up. He sat up and straightened his back as he spoke the ancient language to his head guard that stood in front of him. In the large room, which was in a shape of a dome. The miniature chairs were set around him in the shape of the circle. The high council members were each in one of the brown chairs. Though they had beautiful old designs in them, they were not as gorgeous as the one the Lord sat in. All eyes was on his tear stricken face. He looked as though he was about to keel over in pain and die from the lose of someone so dear to him. That with which the guard was reporting.

The tall mountainous man, with a cluster of other armored men, were on one knee in front of the weeping lord. Their fists over their hearts and their heads bowed in sorrow. Though the mountainous man was the one in front that looked like he would tower over the rest. He spoke up clearly, "Yes my lord. Lady Lith was not in her chambers. We searched for her amongst the inside of the walls, but as the scouts.." The man waved his big hand at the cluster of gentlemen behind him, "...have told me that they found her necklace at the ground where the bodies were found."

"But her body was not there?" Lord Sänctus rose a startled brow as he muttered the words. He had the same glowing blue eyes as Lithium, and it was apparent that the color of his hair had been the same as hers once. But his skin was tan, and there were things about him she didn't have. Like his height or his broad shoulders. "Answer me Zimatheious. I must know!" The lord cried his words and some of the slutty vampire servants were amongst his sides, patting him and rubbing against his arm as they looked at the mountainous guard, Zimatheious.

"No...it was not mi'lord. We believe they found out who she was and took her for ransom...but we have gotten no word on which coven of vampires attacked our escort." Zimatheious' eyes fell on the ground in shame. Before the words had even slide from his Lord's mouth, he knew exactly what he was going to say.

"I told you to keep watch of my daughter and be alert that she would leave the confides of her room for her freedom. I told you that it was very vital that she was kept safe and well guarded. I knew that she would run off to fight beside the others once more. But, you!" He pointed his long skinny finger at Zimatheious, his brows furrowing with a rage of anger that twisted in his eyes. "You fell asleep while keeping guard of my daughter. This is your fault! I will give you till the break of the next day's dawn. If my daughter is not returned safely to the House of Kalion, then I will demolish you myself. Trust me Zimatheious, I will make you suffer the worst ways possible till you are screaming for your own death!" The sudden tone in his voice had sent the vampires all curling in their chairs in fright. But Zimatheious had nodded his head and rose to his feet. He spoke softly, "Yes mi'lord. I will find who has taken the young princess and bring her back. If I do not, I accept the full punishment for my mistakes." Then he was gone from before the council, and the room was silent.

Princess Lithium had not left the spot she had been thrown onto. She had closed her eyes and endured the pain as she had chomped down on her lips and twitched about. But they healed up, or at least enough that they only throbbed.

When she had finally curled up into a ball, her drenched hair sprawled out on the floor and her armor still wet with dew, that's when the door had busted opened. She had been asleep for the amount of time he had been gone to get her rest, and the restraints were still among her wrists keeping them behind her back. Her eyes opened when she heard the patting of feet against the floor. The strange language rippled into her ears, and she looked up to find the leader of the ambushers setting things down on the bed. It was him speaking, but she was so lost onto what he was trying to say.

Of course, she kicked her legs when he picked her up and stripped her. She made a horrified cry afraid he was going to do something else as he protested in that strange language for her to stop her kicking assault. But when she felt the water against her skin and she ground her teeth together from the slight pain, she realized what he had been trying to do. To clean her wounds. She calmed down after a while and let him finish up. She tried to help him with placing on the strange cloths, but she didn't do much of a good job.

Then as he walked away and the fluxation of his words range into her ears, it almost sounded like he was questioning her. But she wasn't sure. He turned around and stared at her and she stared back. When he was finished talking she furrowed her brow and huffed angrily. "Niyo keio ae il..." She spoke the words, in the simple old language. The simple words simply stated, 'I don't understand you.' and that was all she said.

Scratching at his cheek slightly, "Don't understand me?" Cocking his brow at her, "How exactly don't you understand me when I understand you completely?" Shaking his head slightly, the male simply didn't get it. To Vincent, it seemed that they were speaking the same language. What was different? How was it that he could understand what she spoke, but, not him to her? "I think you're just playing stupid." Vincent replied, "You should be able to understand me just fine. I can understand you." Squatting down, the male placed his right hand down on the ground. Letting out a soft sigh, "This will take forever... how is it to work if she can't understand me? What am I doing wrong?" The male questioned out loud, scratching his cheek once more while he squatted. There wasn't much he could do while he wasn't understood. Not much was really know about speaking other languages, it wasn't just a switch you could turn on and off. Many elder, elder vampires can do it.. they wish to not share the secret.

Sighing once more, Vincent shook his head. "This is going no where. I can't communicate with her and her understand me but she can talk and me understand her. Bet she'll be surprised when I'm smacking the hell out of her for something she mentions." The male spoke to himself mainly, his head turning to the door as he busted opened. "What is it?! I'm busy in here!" Vincent yelled at the inbred, the same from the ambush earlier. Turning its head to sideways, the inbred let out a low grumble. "What? I am not the enemy. I am one of Valon clan, not Kalion." The inbred cocked its head to the other side, his slumped over body squatting down. A inbred was a fault of a vampire infant. They don't grow much taller then four foot tall but they are deadly as a normal vampire. They require no blood to stay alive which makes them useful hunters. Letting out another guttural roar, Vincent cocked his eye brow. "I am not speaking like her." Vincent replied, "What do you mean you can't understand me?" He questioned in reply to the inbreed's next noise. The pure vampire cocked his head some, his right hand rubbing the back of his neck. "I don't believe you when you say I'm speaking like her." The same noise rumbled through the inbred's deformed vocal cords. "I will smack the hell out of you if this is a stupid little game..." Vincent replied, "Ask her? Ask her what? She can't understand me and I'm arguing with a fucking retard. Get out." Vincent spoke, ushering the inbred out. One last low roar was let out by the inbreed. "Oh, that so? You thought I was the enemy coming to get her out? So you planned to snap my neck then kill her, huh? I'll slap the hell out of you."

Vincent was angered. How was it anywhere possible for him to be speaking like the House of Kalion. Huffing angrily, Vincent shut the door once more. "Not like you can understand me anyways, but, I apologize for the rudeness of that inbred." Pausing for a moment, "They aren't like us.. they came about because of recent... procedures while in the birthing process." Shaking his head softly, "Majority is inbred with a single pure vampire here and there." It was a sad day for the Valon Manor; Lucius was approaching death, infants weren't being born properly.. and they resort to stealing from Kalion. Truly a sad day. Shaking his head once more, "Why in the hell do you care? Hell.. why am I still talking to you? Not like you can understand me." Crossing his arms over his chest, the male thought. What exactly was he still doing in this room? What point was it to actually attempt to talk to this female? She couldn't understand him.

Then another burst in, "What!?" Vincent yelled, his head glaring back at the female in question. Alica. "Oh.. its just you, Vincent. I heard strange speaking and I thought it was someone from Kalion..." Her head peering around the room making sure, "Maybe I'm just hearing things." Vincent rolled his eyes, "You probably are, you idiot." Alica cocked her brow, "What? I couldn't underst...." Alica started before a quick pause, "Oh my! You are speaking like one of them!" She yelled, "I must tell Lucius! You are a god damned traitor!" And with that Alica bolted from the room, "I am no god damn traitor!" Vincent yelled from the room, his anger was boiling to his limit. Now two people say he's speaking like them.

Hearing a guttural roar come from the door, the inbred just stopped to say; 'I told you so.' Then closed the door, maybe they were right. Maybe she could understand him, which would be very bad with some of the things he said. Turning his head to the female, "Do you understand me now?"

Lithium's eyes had widened when he had began to talk once more. His voice and fluxations had changed and she could finally understand him. But she was in too much shock to speak. Her brows stayed hovering over her wide confused eyes as she listened to him speak.

The whole time the exchange was going on between Vincent, the inbred, and the woman Alica, she just stared at them as they spoke their foreign tongue. He, Vincent, was speaking to them in her tongue and it seemed none of them could understand him. But by the way they bolted from the door it sounded as though they were turning their backs on him. Than they must have not known he could speak the language, and it seemed he himself did not understand that he was speaking the House of Kalion's tongue.

"I understand you..But I do not understand them." Lithium's voice was soft and girlish, but it had a very dangerous and sharp touch to it. Her eyes stayed locked on his as her eyes relaxed back to their natural sexy position on her face. She gulped and moved so her back rested against the headboard of the bed that was positioned in the corner of the room. Finding a sharp thing jolting out from the headboard, she managed to somehow slice through her restraints. When the restraint was gone, she brought her bruised wrists onto her lap and rubbed it softly with a grimace at the pain. They were black and blue and looked like rotten flesh.

Somehow, with the paint hat was surging through her body from her wounds, she managed to land on her feet. She looked at him and briefly around the room. There was no window at all. The only way out was the only way in, and this man was standing in her way. This stranger that had abducted her. She was moving slowly towards the door and a crouched down manor. Her right brow raised as she stared at him. She was hesitant, thinking he was going to strike at her.

Then she jumped back and pressed her back against the wall when she heard the loud thudding of boots. "Whose coming! What are they going to do!" Her face blanched. She looked at him with scared eyes. "Are they going to kill me?" Her voice was barely a whisper. Then the thudding of metal boots came to a shrieking halt. In the doorway stood the soft face of a man trapped in the small frame of a boy's body. But he was no boy. His black robes shifted from the impact of his speed and fell loosely around him. His small pale hands were on the hilts of the swords that rested on his hips. His knowing eyes scanned the room and found Vincent. It was Liox. He had heard all the commotion and came to see what was going on. Lithium hadn't even noticed him swing open the door.

"Oh Vincent. It's only you. I heard the others running around and I heard you talking. I thought someone had come to get her back." He waved his hand at Lithium who was pressed up against the wall and her damp hair clung to her body. "I see her wounds have healed. Good." He raised a brow then let it drop. "If you are going to talk in the House of Kalion's tongue to the young one, then I suggest you do it somewhere we can't hear. I'm surprised you even know their tongue." Though his expression was neutral there was no doubt he was a bit annoyed. It was like he was hoping Vincent couldn't understand her so that one of the elders could try and interrupt much of what she was saying. But the truth was, even most of the elders didn't know much of the House of Kalion's tongue. This put Liox at a very awkward position for power play.

He didn't say another word as he slammed the door shut and stomped away. A sigh of relief left Lithium's lips and she stared back at Vincent. Appartently, trying to get away wouldn't be as easy as she had hoped. It seemed everyone could hear them, that must mean either 1.) Their hearing was ten times better than hers or 2.) The walls were paper thin. That or it could be a mixture of both.

"Why are you helping me?" She asked the question with a cold annoyed tone to her voice.

Vincent let out a small laugh at her question. "Helping you?" The male asked back to her, "I'm not helping you at all. I haven't yet said that I would get you out of here." Pausing slightly, "I was told by a higher being that it was in the best interest of this clan to keep what you are a secret and make sure you aren't harmed." Shrugging softly, "In a way that could be helping, but, I do not plan to get you out of here. Once you are to leave, you shall leave." Smirking softly, "If you plan to attempt to get run and get out of the Manor, you will find yourself going in a circle since this part of the Manor is the deepest part of the whole ground. And, I'm sure you noticed.. Everyone around here has exceptional hearing. Wouldn't be hard to find you in the midst of you disappearing." Plus the fact that the inbred from the ambush would be waiting along this hallway to get his shot at killing her.. that is what he hoped for. He wasn't pleased with letting one survivor live. Just worsened that she was now staying here.

A light knock on the wood progressed down the hall, growing louder as it got closer to the door. Vincent turned to watch the door push open, a female stepping forth. Sighing softly, Vincent shook his head. "What is it, Alica?" Alica jumped slightly, "How are you able to...." her head looking down at the floor, clearly her plan to turn Vincent in to Lucius ended terribly on her part. "Lucius wants to see you... he said to bring the girl also." She spoke in a low, scorned tone. Clearly not wanting anyone to look at her eye to eye. "That all?" Vincent asked in reply, Alica nodded her head lightly. The female didn't wait for Vincent to let her know she was no longer needed, she just simply left the room. Vincent turned his attention to the female, who managed to push herself into the back corner of the bed. "You are coming with me." The male spoke prior to moving closer to the bed. Placing his knee against the bed, the male grabbed the female by the sides of her hips. His grip tightening around the cloth fabric of the leggings before pulling her to her feet. Noticing that the restraints on her wrists were severed, Vincent snarled lightly. "If you attempt anything that might prove to be fatal when you are caught, you might want to think. There won't be a second set of restraints from here on out.. but, if I feel thats giving you too much leverage. You'll be tied to the bed."

The only thing the male had did to the female was put a blindfold on, he didn't want her to know her way out of the section she was in. Of course, it wouldn't be hard to just remember how many steps it took before turning. Thats why Vincent had walked fast, taking long steps. Slow with little steps, along with making unnecessary turns. Vincent practically walked around the one part of the Manor three times before going the long way around to Lucius' part of the Manor, by then though, the male had just slung the female over his shoulder to prevent anything. Vincent set the female down outside the front of the door, "You take that blindfold off before I say so, those pretty light blue eyes will never see anything again." And with that, Vincent pushed the door open to the room that held Lucius' nearly dead body. Placing his hand on the female's back, the male gave a light nudge for her to start moving the way he was guiding her. Shutting the door behind them, Vincent removed the blindfold from the eyes of the female. "Ah, there she is." Lucius spoke from the back of the room, his coughing fit not going unnoticed. "You wished to see us, master." Vincent spoke. Lucius made a barely visible nod, "I heard from someone you could speak her language, Vincent. This true?" Lucius questioned softly, "It is, master." Vincent nodding his head after his reply. "I always knew you were special. I would like for you to say this..." Lucius stopped for a moment, his coughing fit sparking up once more.

Vincent cocked his brow slightly, "Master... you wish for me to say that?" Lucius nodded, Vincent placed his hand upon her back once more. Slowly pushing her to the back of the room, "He wants a better view of you.. his eye sight is fading." Vincent spoke to her lightly, stopping her exactly at the side of his bed. "Speak to her, Vincent." Lucius spoke firmly, Vincent let out a small sigh. "Lucius is dying." Vincent spoke, pausing for a second to get how he should say everything in his head down. He was to tell this female that what they did earlier wasn't because of the rivalry between the clans in this region. It was to help Lucius survive atleast one more day so he could make a decision. Her being capture wasn't part of their plan either. She was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. And last, while she remains in this Manor.. she will be treated like one of his own vampires. Half breed or not. "Vincent." Lucius spoke firmly once more. "Lucius wants you to know that it wasn't because of the rivalry between each clan in this region that we ambushed your clan this evening. The blood Kalion brings to its own House is rich.. it helps Lucius survive a little more each day, though, tonights raid was useless. Lucius is to pass away between now and tomorrow evening." Pausing once more, "He also wants you to know that since you were in the wrong place at the wrong time. While you remain under the House of Valon, you shall be treated like you are one of us. Anyone to harm you shall be dealt with by me.. this includes lightly harming you, beating you, raping you.. anything and everything. They will be tortured for days on end until they are dead." Vincent didn't look at the female once while he was speaking.

Scratching at the back of his head, Vincent grew quiet. There wasn't much else he wanted to say, the only person Lucius actually trusted in this Manor with keeping her safe was the one who was watching her now. "Vincent, I want you to protect her." Vincent clenched his jaw down tightly, closing his eyes. He didn't want to hear that. She should've been killed, instead they paraded her back to the Manor and end up having to house her. "Master. I wish to reject." Lucius let out a small laugh, "Vincent, how can you reject when you are the only one to communicate with her? I can not.. I am not one of you two." Vincent cocked his brow slowly, "Vincent, you were taken from House of Kalion grounds as a child. I raised you myself, thought you our language. Didn't you assume something was wrong when there was much difference between you and the others?" Shaking his head no, "That can't be true, Master." Vincent spoke, Lucius raised his hand slowly. "Stop fighting it, boy. I knew this day would have to come.. I wished for it not to be on my death bed either." Though what Lucius was telling Vincent, the smile on the elder vampire's face never faded.

Vincent really didn't know what to think nor what to do. It seemed that everything hit a wrong bump then went into a snowball effect downhill. Scratching his chin softly, Vincent wanted to say nothing Lucius told him to. First, she was going to stay in a slave quarter.. now she is to rest in Vincent's room for a few days to regain her strength so she could go back to Kalion. Then, if Lucius knew correctly.. war would be raged and then it'll be disastrous for Valon Manor. How exactly did Lucius hope for everything to go about? Did he except this female to be up in arms with Vincent after he told her that he was one of her kind? Vincent didn't quite believe that she'd be so... forgiving for what he lead against Kalion. "Master, what am I supposed to tell her?" He questioned, "I don't think she's going to be too pleased with everything after what I had to say the first time." Lucius laughed, "You won't know until you find out.. but, now..." Lucius paused to let out a cough, "I need my rest. Take her back to your room.. I shall send someone to bring you two back when I feel strong enough to continue." Vincent nodded softly, "Yes, master."

Vincent didn't bother to put on the blindfold, it was no use. She'd be gone within a few days anyways, the time she'd be back was in arms against Valon. Which if Lucius is correct.. will lead to both clans downfall. How did he know this? He wasn't some prophet. Vincent let out audible sigh as he led her to his room, turning his head to make sure she was following. The inbred was following also.. making sure she didn't attempt to run. Vincent stopped infront of his door's, letting out another sigh before opening them. His room was way bigger then the room she was staying in. Two windows.. hopefully she didn't attempt to run. "Lucius told me that you were to stay in here... with me. You'd regain your strength under the Manor then return to Kalion as soon as possible." Vincent spoke shutting the doors behind her. "He's also informed the guards to watch these windows carefully and if anything is to step outside onto the ledge that it was fine to open fire." Vincent spoke in a dull tone. "So.. yes. There was another thing that he wanted to have me tell you. One that you will hear once you have asked questions about the sudden change and everything."

When the woman shot into the room again, Lithium was still very frightened. Even more so when Vincent's words twisted into the odd language once more. She was whipping with confusion when he began to speak and protested to him blindfolding her. "First you act kind to me then you treat me like a rat!" She grumbled, her hands balling into fists at her side. She stumbled around when he pushed her about through the halls. She was so confused that she nearly fell over and barfed. This was not helping with her regaining her strength.

When he threatened her she ground her teeth together and huffed. "If you so much as touch me in the wrong way, I will bite off your head and devour it!" But then she heard the door open and was pushed inside. She heard their exchange of words as he took off her blindfold and she saw the old man once more. Coughing terribly to his death. But she pushed along the side of his bed so he could get a better look at her. She grimaced at the sight of him and felt terrible. When Vincent began to speak again she thought silently to herself. How long was she suppose to stand here while this old dying vampire watched her? Was their something he wanted of her?

Lithium's back straightened up as he began to speak to her. Literally, and she could understand stand him too! He sounded hesitant and she shivered and groaned at his words. "You are such liars!" She blurted in an angry yell. She was now facing Vincent with her teeth barred. Starring at that old wrinkled piece of shit, Lucius, was making her sick. "He's just an excuse for you to kill us! Why don't you have one of the vampires here heal him? Make his pain go away so he live his last hours in peace?" But Vincent had ignored her for the most part and carried on with whatever Lucius was having him tell her.

When she saw Vincent's face twist in a bit of anger, she was confused. "You? To guard me? I'd rather slit my own throat!" She barred her teeth at him and hissed out the words. Then Lucius and Vincent had a bit of a confrontation and she fell silent.

Before she had been pushed from the room, her hand grazed Lucius and she muttered a few words before she was forced from the room. No blindfold, odd. She felt uncomfortable with the inbred behind her. What horrid creatures they were. But they smelled with vampire blood. Maybe they were similar to the infants from the House of Kalion. The other vampire clans had been having trouble with breeding also, it was so strange.

When the door was opened and she was forced inside, she looked around with a confused expression. "What about the room I was first put in? Why this one?" She turned around to stare at Vincent who explained. "As long as we don't share a bed, I'll be fine." She sneered. Lithium stared at him, looking at the windows before she was told there were guards stationed to watch it. "Why keep such a close eye on me and care for me if you are just going to release me? Release me now! I demand it!" Lithium had taken a step forward, her brows were furrowed in anger and her teeth grinding together. But as he began to say something more, she feel to her knees in pain and grabbed her heart. Lithium leaned against the ground as she cried in pain and then she fell to the floor. She withered around in immense pain, screaming in agony before all together she stopped. She stared up at the ceiling silent as she tried to regain her breath. her heart still twinged.

"You have...to let...me go..." She cried.

Kneeling down slowly, "Let you go?" He questioned in reply, "You barely have enough strength to stand on your own.." Shaking his head lightly, "You know nothing about these lands. More then likely your father kept you locked up somewhere to be safe guarded from something like this. Your knowledge of this land is barely anything that could help you survive one bit." Vincent smirked softly at the thought of her dying while out in the wilderness. "The other clans have scouts everywhere. You don't think they are watching the Manor right now? We let you leave.. they will pick you up and not be so kind with your stature. We of Valon knew nothing of what you looked like.. we had no spies in your lands. You don't think other clans didn't?" Vincent asked softly, standing up slowly. Turning to the door, the male made sure he shut it all the way so no one could hear him from outside. "Other clans know what you look like.. then when they pick you up. Guess what will be happening?" Vincent was asking more reticular questions then ones he wanted her to answer.

Vincent walked toward the head of the female, squatting down. The male brushed the hair back from her eyes, letting out a quick laugh. "Do you know what they'll do to you? How long they'll torture you? The amount of times they'll use you?" Shaking his head, "Our hospitality may not be what it is for you in Kalion... but it could be a hell of a lot worse. Atleast we won't send you back to your King broken and abused. Atleast when we do send you back, we will have had time to prepare for what he'll send for us." Vincent smirked slightly, "Now. What do you want?" The male asked softly, his thumb brushing her cheek lightly before her feeble attempt to swat it away. Shaking his head, "And to your comments earlier. You realize we've tried everything for Lucius. You think if it worked from our clan that he wouldn't be laying in his death bed right now?" Shaking his head once again, "Thats just the thing. You are the princess. You know nothing." Pushing himself up from the squatting position, "Only thing you know is from what you've read in books or from words from your people."

After that, Vincent just walked away from the girl. He didn't care about it right now. His mind was everywhere right now. What they were doing with the princess. What Lucius had told him. How could he focus on anything right now? Just didn't seem possible. Vincent stared out the wind, stared out into the darkness. Where the scouts from other clans simply walked around, looking.. watching.. observing the Manor. Nothing had changed. They always come out at this time of night. They always missed the carriages that came in and out of the Manor. It seemed that the Manor was just going quiet to them. The thing went for all of the clans, stepping foot on the clan's territory meant death. Going about the perimeter meant nothing, the first footstep over the line meant death. That is why they all are surrounded by the walls. Marking their perimeter.

The male's foot tapped against the floorboard. The noises from his heel colliding with the board echoed through the room. The male let out a small sigh, his foot clamping down to the floor. Turning his head to face the female, it had been a hour or so since he last said anything to her. Shaking his head, Better if I put her in the bed. She'll recover faster. Vincent nodded at himself, his feet moving slowly toward the female. Stepping over her, the male bent down. Pushing his hand under her sides, Vincent lifted slowly. Making sure he didn't drop her as he stood back up, Vincent quickly moved to his bed. Placing her down in the center, grabbing one of his pillows. The male drug it down toward her head, lifting her head up slightly before resting her head back down on the pillow.

Vincent removed the blanket from underneath her, placing the blanket over the female. "Rest. Its better for you to rest now then fight to stay up. You'll just hurt your body more then it is now." Vincent spoke lightly as he sat down on the edge of the bed. The male knew she was in between being asleep and being awake. Since she was in combat and wounded, she might want to agree with the first rather then the later. "Jump to whatever conclusion you want about Valon and myself.. but, remember, I am what you are. Lucius took me in as a infant.. if you had disgust for me, you have disgust for your people. What kind of a future Queen would hate her own?" Vincent chuckled softly, "Come in the morning when you wake up. If you remember this and believe it not to be true.. ask yourself if I wasn't related to your own. How could I speak like you?" Vincent leaned forward, "It couldn't happen, princess." The male whispered into her ear.

"Sleep. We'll talk more in the morning." Vincent muttered, slowly standing up from the bed. Moving to the closest window next to the bed, he wouldn't leave the spot to sleep. He would stay away the rest of the night just staring out the window, waiting for her to awake tomorrow. He wouldn't sleep an ounce until she was gone, then he'd sleep to wake up for the war that Lucius thought would come after her safe return.

Lithium had passed out way before he had even picked her up. She didn't fight him sitting her down. She barely heard the words that he said. His voice lulled her to sleep easily enough.

She had curled up into a small ball. The blanket was flung onto the floor. Her wounds had healed a bit more, but they were still very red, raised, and jagged. Her hair was flung all in her face and her mouth was open a bit.

When the sun filtered softly into the room and grazed her skin, she blinked her eyes open. Lithium yawned and rubbed her eyes. Her vision was still adjusting and blurred. The sun that hit the room was hitting his body and making him glow. It made an aura around him like he was some kind of god. A smile hit her lips and she scurried from the bed, nearly tripping over the blankets as they got caught on her feet. Half way awake, she wrapped her arms around his waist and leaned against him. "Father!" She called happily. But as she got a wolf of him. He smelled all wrong, and he felt too muscular to be her father. Lithium pulled away and her vision focused.

The blood fled from Lithium's face illuminated it's white snow glow. She looked so fragile and she stood very still for a long time, just looking up at him. She fumbled backwards and landed on her rear with a big, THUD! Her hair covered half her face and she looked to be on the verge of tears. "Pardon me. I perceived you to be someone else."

Lithium was back on her feet and she wiped her tear filled eyes before they spilt. She looked up at him. There was an odd feeling on her cheek where he had touched it the night before. It felt as though there was still a hand upon it, and she swatted unconsciously at the air. With another blink, she grimaced. She heard commotion on outside and stumbled next to him at the window to stare out of it. There was an armored vampire on top of an armored black horse. It stood outside of the wall and the horse huffed. The vampire had been staring straight forward at the wall, but it's head jerked up in the direction the window was at. It got a glimpse of her and it jerked the horse. Lithium stared at it. Surely it was not looking at her. Right? But with a quick jerk of the stern, it turned around and vanished into the blackness of the forest that surrounded the House of Valor.

She turned to Vincent, as though he would know who that was. "Did you see that?" She furrowed her brow and pulled away from the window. She felt oddly numb and cold. But at the same time, it felt like her body was still pressed up against his into an awkward embrace.

Vincent felt then heard the female. Listening to her react before hearing her apologize made him nod a bit. His eyes still focused on the figure on the horse. "Don't worry about it. You mistook me from your father. Its fine." Vincent replied, narrowing his eyes to watch the figure disappear back into the forest. Nodding softly, "I did, I did. That would be Count Rivas. He's second in command for the House of Bovili. First time I've seen him here in a while." Vincent reached up to the curtains, pulling them shut. "Word must have spread of your disappearance. Lets just hope he didn't see you." Scratching his chin softly, "But, if he did and he arrives here. We must make up a fib to tell him." Tapping his chin sightly, "Rivas hasn't been seen in a while. He usually comes out only when something has happened. Which you went missing happened.. so, more then likely someone from Kalion went to Bovili. They have a choice of coming to Volan, Movin, or Rilen." Turning around to face her, the male moved his hands to her sides. Lifting her with relative ease, the male placed her sitting down on the bed. "Stay. You need to recover."

Moving to the other window shortly after moving the female, Vincent closed the blinds to that one, also. Why exactly would that vampire be out on his horse during this time of day staring at the Manor if it wasn't because of the female? Wasn't like he could see her behind the male, Vincent was standing right in the middle of the window. The female just peered around to see him, then he ran off. "I don't quite know.." The male spoke, "I don't think he saw you.. nor do I think he believes you are here." Shaking his head softly, "But, if anything. We must make up a lie if they come here. You will either hide somewhere or come out and say you stopped to visit... or something." Closing his eyes, the male rubbed his temples lightly. "Or you were off riding last night, fell off your horse. Rolled down a rocky slope and a slave of Volan was out and found you. Brought you back here so you can recover." Pausing lightly, the male didn't quite know how much she'd go along.

"Thats until you do get back to Kalion and tell the king what really happens." Shrugging softly, "All you to you. So far, this is all speculation. I may just be thinking up lies for no reason." Vincent spoke, opening his eyes slowly. "But yes, on to more serious matters. What do I do with you? Hmm." The male questioned, tapping his chin for a moment before walking toward the female. "First off, I believe we should get you changed into different clothing. I'm sure the slave clothing isn't working for one such as a 'princess'." The male spoke, though... there wasn't many fancy things in here, let alone something fancy enough for a princess. The only girl who dressed reasonably nice was Alica.. and she wouldn't be too pleased. "The only person I know who might have something normal to wear and let you fit in would be Alica." Scratching the back of his head softly, "And yes, I'm not sure about her letting you use her clothing." Vincent didn't quite know what to do. "Worth a shot, I guess."

Minutes passed as the male waited outside Alica's room. The female actually let this girl use her clothing with no objection at all. Whatever Lucius told her must've carried over from yesterday. Vincent made sure Alica stayed in the room so this girl didn't attempt to run off. Knocking on the door, "Hurry." Vincent spoke loudly through the door, "Shut it you!" Alica yelled, thud. She threw something at the door, what it was really didn't matter to Vincent wasn't any of his belongings. "She's back to her old ways..." Vincent muttered to himself as the door opened, nodding in approval of what the female had came out in.

Vincent led her through the Manor with little to no disapproval of what she was looking at. She was taking everything in. Peering around into the library, kitchen, dining room. Everywhere. More then likely to give a detailed layout of the building to her father so they knew right where to attack. Vincent had stopped in the kitchen to let the chefs know to send something up in a little, it was getting around the time where he'd try to eat something normal. Trying to break the habit of drinking blood was rough.. he only drank it when he was seriously injured but as of late. He didn't trust anything that this Manor stored.

Vincent's eyes moved along the shelves of books in his room, the female should have been laying in bed but the male didn't care. He was trusted to watch over her, not make sure she recovered. "How are you feeling?" The male asked from the corner of the room, turning his head to look toward her. "I'm sure one nights rest didn't help all of your wounds. A reason why I believe you should stay in bed." Turning his head back to look at his books, the male paused for a second. Moving his gaze back to her, "What is your name? Really haven't got onto that subject.. no one in this Manor knows it at all. They all call you a bastard child, the half breed.. or something." Shrugging softly, "If you wish to know mine, I'm Vincent. I assume you've heard stories about Lucius.. the man in the bed half dead."

"Rivas..." The name hung on her tongue like venom. It made her uncomfortable and she wanted desperately to look out the window and see the man again. But she knew she wouldn't. It had been funny listening to him ponder on how to make Rivas not have suspicion on the House of Valor. A thought occurred to her as she sat on the bed how he could get out of it if Riva came knocking on the door.

Lithium shifted in the pants and shirt she had been given. Clearly the house of Valor did not let woman dress in dresses. But then again. She had remembered seeing Alica on the front lines and knew why she had only practical men clothing. It made Lithium feel comfortable, so she didn't mind it at all. A long dragged out sigh sunk from her lips as she pressed her back against the wall, she stared forward at Vincent's back. She watched him at his bookshelf and smiled softly.

"I have an idea...If Rivas' comes knocking you can just say that the House of Kalion and the House of Valor have decided to make a truce and have a marriage...me with someone else, to make it final. They'll never question a marriage." Lithium's eyes had dropped and her smile had faded. She didn't know why but his words had hurt her in a way. "At first I meant you all harm for you took me, your man laid their hands on me and laughed at me, I understood none of you. Then you brought me here and ever since you have been showing me the sweetest kindness. I do not wish any of you harm. But I can not speak for my father's actions. He's very stubborn and if I return or do not return, he will still wedge war. I know this."

Her face had turned completely white again. She didn't know why but she felt like getting up and wrapping her arms around Vincent. "I'm sorry for causing so much trouble to you all. "A soft line of tears rolled down her face. "Forgive me. My name is Princess Lithium. But you may address me as Lith." She raised her head and smiled softly.

Outside, Liox had drifted outside of the wall unnoticed. He had drifted into the darkness of the forest where no one could notice him. He was far enough away from the road and the House of Valor no one could hear him. He stared forward and there was a mountainous figure next to him shrouded in darkness. Liox spoke as he stared forward, like he was speaking to the wind.

"So, he's sent you to bring her home? Interesting." Liox mumbled.

"Yes. But you mention no one has laid a hand on her? Not even a scratch?" The man's voice was a whisper but it rattled through the trees around them.

"Lucius thinks it wise to take care of the girl like she is our own. I pledded him to dispose of her. Ripe her to shreds, decapitate her and send her to the House of Kalion. But he refused. The man is too good for his knowing."

"I agree with you."

"But the 'extra ingredient' you gave me worked just well in his drink. Though that little pester of a princess used her powers to try and help him heal. I had to use the remainder of it to make his sickness increase."

"Do not use too much. They might be able to trace it."

"I'm not, I used small douses about a decade ago, then I slowly increased the amount over the years. Poor bastard thinks he's dying from some weird kind of disease that no one else has."

The mountain roared a laugh, his bright white teeth glistened from the sun's rays. "Soon he'll be out of our way-"

"Then that pester of a princess has to go. I heard her last not screaming in pain. No doubt she transferred some of the disease to herself."

"But she healed herself, did she not?"

"Indeed...But soon we will have both the houses under our wings. But Zimatheious, I must ask you my friend. Who told Rivas of the missing princess?" Liox looked up at the mountain and placed a hand on his chin.

"Lord Sänctus is close with Rivas. It was Rivas' human sister that the princess was conceived of."

"I see. Go now. We will talk later. I told Lucius I was to scout the House of Kalion and see what was going on there. He wants to be ready when they are going to strike." With that, Zimatheious was gone and Liox whipped quickly through the forest in the direction of the House of Kalion.

"Princess Lithium. Interesting." Vincent muttered to himself softly, his eyes roaming his bookshelf. He was looking for something, wasn't quite sure what but it was a black covered book. Lucius had gave it to him a long time ago, the male wanted to look into it since years had past since he read it. "Well, its good to know your name, Lithium. You should only be here for a day or two more, depending on how you recover. You are a half breed, so.. it might take a little bit longer." Vincent replied, turning his head to look at the female. His eyes only looking at her for a few moments before returning to the bookshelf. Taking a step back, Vincent had hoped to catch a glimpse of it from back instead of so up close. Shrugging softly, Vincent moved to the window. "I need some light.. looking for a book and I can't seem to find it." Vincent spoke softly, drawing the curtains back. Turning his back to the window, the male walked back to the bookshelf. Seemed that the light really didn't help either.

Though she had spoke about the sweet things and kindness they had shown her minutes ago, Vincent couldn't help move past that. "In all honesty, I believe the only person here who has actually been nice to you since you got here has been Lucius. Myself, I've been back and forth. Others, they just haven't paid mind to you. Except for that one inbred who really wants you dead." Vincent spoke softly, "But, as long as you are in the household. No one will lay a finger on you. That inbred will be as far away from you as possible and you shall not worry about anyone attempting to harm you." Vincent spoke but never took his eyes off of the bookshelf. The book he was looking for was how the Valon Manor came to be, figured it'd be a good read for her. Maybe she could pick up a few words from their language while she was at it. "Ah! There it is." The male spoke, moving toward the wall some. Reaching up slowly, the male placed the tip of his index finger on the spine of the book. Pulling it down some before grabbing the rest of the book to remove it from the shelf. "Here. I will more then likely not let you out of this room, so, I thought it'd be better to read something then sit there bored all day for the next few days." Vincent spoke, tossing the book onto the bed.

Scratching at his chin softly, the male let out a small, content sigh before looking over to the female. "You seem a little uneasy." Moving across the room towards the door, the male turned to face the other side of the bookshelf. "I can only imagine how it feels." Pausing momentarily, "You know. Being someone of your stature in a foreign House. There's one thing I can promise you, though." Turning to face the princess, "You will make it back safely, I assure you. If I am wrong, I will gladly suffer whatever your House has to offer." Slowly turning back to the bookshelf, "I believe that is fair. Anything happens to you, I suffer the consequences for it. I was entrusted to protect you, so, only fair." Vincent spoke lightly, his eyes roaming across the bookshelf. He wasn't really looking for anything, his collection of books seemed to be growing smaller. Though, there was barely a space missing from any shelf. Could be his imagination.

Moving to his bed, the male took a seat at the edge. "Have you heard of the so-called story about how all the covens of Vampires started?" Vincent asked, "I only ask because not many other vampires do. Out of my brethren; Only Lucius, Alica, and myself have shared and heard this story amongst all of us. Lucius is the who told us. Liox knows of it but swears it is not true.." Pausing slightly, "Liox was the short male who came in last night to see what was happening." Scratching his cheek softly, "Though, he has something about him that makes me suspicious of him at times but that is for my own reason which I won't go into about." Nodding softly. Liox seemed to be more rogue then a team player. He wanted to rule over this coven, instead of Lucius. "There's a lot that many vampires don't know. For one, at a point all five covens were once one coven of vampires. When the leader who brought them all together neared the end of their road, she..." Pausing softly, "Yes, she.. was to pick a successor. Now, each five of the leaders thought they should be Lady Katrina's successor. They all begin feuds with one another which lead to Katrina banishing them all.. Kalion, Valon, Bolivi, Movin and Rilen. Thus starting each house." Vincent shrugged softly, "That what I was told, I am unsure if you've heard or read anything about it." Vincent grew quiet, wasn't sure what to say with her. Talking seemed to alleviate a bit of tension until each grew quiet once again.

Scratching at his eyebrow slightly, the male looked toward the female. "Do you recall anything that I said from the past night?" He asked softly, "It seemed that you passed out rather quickly, but, no one can blame you. Beat up, dragged to this Manor, poorly taken care of. You had every right to simply pass out.. but.." The male paused, "What exactly caused you to fall to the floor in pain?" The male questioned, "No one touched you.. no one poisoned you. What exactly happened?"

Lithium was puzzled as he threw the book on the bed. She jumped, startled when it bounced. But she crossed her legs back up and leaned forward, snatching the book before it clanked down onto the ground. She opened it up and thumbed through it. The characters were nothing of what she had seen before. Astonished, but not amused. She looked up at him and furrowed her brows. "What kind of mockery is this?" She held up the book before slamming it down onto the bed in front of her.

She felt embarrassed at being so rude when he told her she should read it since she wouldn't be leaving the room. She piked it up again but didn't open it at all. "The characters, they are not understandable." She leaned against her right arm, the elbow was propped up on her right knee. She let out a gust of air. A sigh. This was not going to be a horribly painful weak of getting better.

"Just because I am a mut, does not mean I will heal extremely slow!" She snapped. But she frowned. "You are right. I should be thanking Lucius, and I have. The only way I know possible." Her back straightened when he sat on the edge of the bed. She smiled softly and nodded her head. "I have. I have to read from Katrina's journal and understand why the houses were split up before I can fully become queen."

Lithium listened very contently to his words, and her brow raised. "I believe you have been misinformed." She frowned at him. "I do not mean to discredit Lucius. I would not think of it. He has been very generous. It's just, his story is miss-told. You are not receiving all of it. Katrina was defiantly a wise woman and took care of all of them. But, yes, when she neared her death she needed someone to take her place. She wasn't looking forward to it and had them decide amongst themselves. But Katrina knew they would never agree on someone to be her successor. But the thing is. They were quarreling cause they had all slept with Katrina and proclaimed their love to her. Foolish creatures. They could not trust one enough and grew made at each other. To boot. All five of them were siblings. Katrina was their aunt."

Another deep sigh escaped her lips but then she froze. His concerned words had set her a back. She jerked her head staring at wide eyes at him. "Oh..I..." She thought long and hard how to put it. "Before we left yesterday I wished to help Lucius. But I didn't move to tell you because I thought you would think I was trying to kill him. I merrily grazed my fingers over his skin. Enough to enchant a soft spell and take some of his sickness away from him. The reason I say it shouldn't take me to heal as you thought it would. Because I am one of he few real healers left. I can easily heal myself, and I wanted to help Lucius get better. So I endured his sickness to make him a bit well again. It should make his chances of surviving greater." She chimed in happily, smiling. "I hope I have not upset you."

Vincent scratched his chin softly, healers would often take the sickness of others onto themselves and suffer from it in the same degree. "I sure hope you knew what you were doing. Even as a healer, you can often not cure yourself of what you had taken." Vincent spoke cautiously, the male was glad he wasn't one such as that. The thought of being able to suffer from someone else after healing them would be enough for him to go insane. Vincent gave a soft shrug, the female was her own person. If she was to get sick from whatever was haunting Lucius then it was her choice. She'd have to suffer from it, not him. "For you to anger me, it would've been more of causing him more pain. Which would've turned out terrible for you, but, you didn't. You attempted to heal him, take away some of his pain and make it your own. Nothing in that I can be upset over. " Vincent spoke, it was just simple. She didn't attempt to cause him harm in any way so wasn't much to be angered at.

Vincent took a glance over at the book, "Yes, I know what character it is in. I gave it to you so you can take a look for yourself. Not all the characters in the book are different from ones in your book." The male spoke, his eyes moving back to his bookshelf. "Majority of the characters in every book are similar. The way Katrina wanted them. So, if you have read Katrina's journal and can understand it. It shouldn't take you no longer then a day to understand the characters in that... hell, you could understand every book in this room." Vincent spoke, letting off a light shrug. "But then again, all this was was a mockery.. so, I'll put it back." Vincent spoke before removing the book from next to him. Standing up slowly, the male moved to his bookshelf. Placing it down on one of the ledges, he was testing her to see if she'd go for it and read it. The male assumed once he turned his back to her or went out for a moment, she'd jump at the chance to read the book. Then again, Vincent always over assumed. Like she said, 'What kind of mockery is this?'

Turning to the female, Vincent tapped his chin for a moment. "You said you were a healer. Can you tell what a person has or does it only work with you curing something but you have no clue what it is?" Vincent asked softly, "I can get you alone with Lucius if you can figure out what it is." The male only wanted to know what exactly was wrong with his mentor. None of the healers that came to visit ever told him, usually because they mentioned something about him not being high enough in power to be told a thing. All these vampires said the same thing.. which also could be said about who got the doctors to come visit. Liox. "I only ask because I want to know what type of disease it is so the day Lucius leaves this world, I can take steps to preventing it ever again." Vincent's eyes slowly moving to the floor, the day would be nearing. So, the male was practically running out of hope for him to ever know what killed Lucius. "I understand if you can't. I'm just taking a leap of faith here."

Scratching the top of his head lightly, Vincent looked over to the female. She had remained silent for the most part, the male still waited to receive her answer. It could be that she was inexperienced in the way of telling what a person has.

((Apologies on it being short. Can't think much right now. >< ))

Lithium had a sudden urge tingle inside her body as she watched him. He looked so pained and on the verge of tears that she just wanted to wrap him in her arms and... No! He was the enemy and all he wanted her for was to heal their leader. What if she let him die? But the man had been so giving to her that she couldn't.

She looked him straight in the eyes and nodded. "I'll try my best. But you mustn't disturb me or ask any questions. It might be odd how I react or the way I have to hold on to him to find out. If I scream...well...you can ignore it. I know this. Besides. I mean nothing to you besides a helpful hand." The thought made her twitch. To Lucius she was normal and he was making Vincent take care of her. But to Vincent, she was nothing more than a girl stuck with him that he did not care about what-so-ever.

Liox had not spent much time dealing with others around the other houses. They needed a way to get rid of the princess with no questions asked. As well as Lucius and Lord Sänctus.

"If they die too ssssssoon together people will asssssk quessstionsss." One voice whispered from his covered body as he stayed crouched in the burrow of the wall. There were many other cloaked figures wrapped around Liox underground. Away from anyone's eyes to take hold of their mighty betrayal.

"If Lucius dies, everyone will think of it as old age. If the princess is killed after his death, then everyone in the House of Valor will have blamed her for his speeding death. Lord Sänctus? Well he's easy. Just throw him off of his ruff into the pit of spikes. They'll think he committed suicide from his daughter's murder." Liox mused, a wicked grin splattered on his face.

"Verrry good Liox. It isn't like anyone in the house of Valor approves of the girl being treated so nicely. None of them will ask questions." Another cloaked figure spoke up from the darkness of the corner of the room.

"But you are mistaken on Lord Sänctus. He would not kill himself. He would want revenge." A hand smashed the table that was set up in the middle of the room shattering it to pieces. "If I was him I would enjoy the revenge as well."

"Yessss, but you ssssseee. If any of the three of them are to live then our planssss will be ssspoiled. They would eassssily find of our trickery and hand ussss all." The hissing figure grinned. "They all musssst die ssssoon. Or I'm afraid they will learn of thisss and we will be exposssed." The group of cloaked figures amongst the room nodded their heads and praised their agreements.

"Then it is set! We know what we must do!" Liox bellowed his voice with an indifferent expression.

Cocking his brow slightly, Screaming? Why in the world would she be caused mental or physical harm? Vincent thought to himself, that was just odd. Must be something dealing with the healers. "I will have to have Lucius dismiss his nurse for a few hours before I can get you into there to check him out. Screaming... I will attempt to ignore." The male replied, what exactly did she do? Vincent hasn't ever encountered a healer.. nor ever needed one for himself. Well, she was right and wrong on what she meant to him. Wasn't anything dear, but, if she were to help Lucius... or atleast get him information upon his sickness. The male would find a greater... respect... for the House of Kalion. "Yes, a helping hand. There really isn't another way to put it is there? Not like I mean much to you, so, it goes back the way it comes, my dear." Which was true, she held no feelings for him. The sooner she got out, the better. Its simply the fact that it couldn't be a love story. Male falls in love with a female. Male lives here, female lives here. Families are enemies. That type of thing is make believe, nothing happens like that.

Vincent turned to face the female, "Okay, so, I can't ask question while you're in this process, nor disturb, nor help you if and when you scream. That it? Anything else that I might need to know?" The male asked quickly, the male wanted to get the female into Lucius' room before it was too late. The thing that would stop them the most would be the going in and out, other vampires going in and out of Lucius' room. If he happens to pass away and someone sees that they were the last two in there then suspicions will grow onto them.

"Ah, my boy." Lucius spoke as Vincent entered into his room, the female filing in after him. "Master, I wish to speak to you.." Vincent replied, his eyes moving to Lucius' nurse. "In private.. with our latest guest." Lucius nodded in reply, "Shal'na." Lucius spoke, Vincent cocking his brow. What language was that? The male asked himself, he knew nothing of what it was. Couldn't even understand it. Vincent's eyes moved from the nurse as she walked past him, moving toward Lucius immediately. "Now, Vincent. What is it?" Lucius asked, coughing lighter then he normally did. "Yesterday.. you said that I was taken from Kalion grounds.. is that true?" Vincent asked, though the elder vampire could easily see through his lie. Lucius let out a small laugh, shaking his head lightly. "What is it, boy? You didn't wish to speak with me in private just for that. Tell me." Lucius spoke, sitting up some. Vincent let out a sigh.

The conversation where Vincent let Lucius know what Lithium was went over with ease. He gladly accepted her as a healer.. even though he spoke about how the other healers said there wasn't anything wrong with him. Vincent simply protested that none of the healers were from Kalion or even a princess. Vincent grabbed her forearm lightly, stopping her as she moved to the elder. "Try not to hurt yourself, please." The male spoke before letting her arm go. Taking a step back, the male didn't want any backlash from whatever happens while she attempts to figure out what is wrong with Lucius... if there is anything wrong. Vincent did look forward to seeing what happened while in the process, hopefully it'll prove to be good for the elder.

Victor coughed lightly, "I simply don't trust her." A female voice called from the back of pantry. A low guttural roar followed, "We aren't Vincent, inbred. We can't understand you." Victor spoke as he threw the shell of a peanut at the can used for garbage. "I mean.. she's a Kalion! She is just laying low using her magicks to call her people to strike down everyone of us." Alica spoke, clearly in a rage. "And Lucius! How can he simply scold me!? Vincent was the one talking in the other language, not me!." The female let out a huff of air, "Just forget about it. Lucius will have her gone in a few days." Another male sounded in, this one coming in from the back. "I'm telling you, she's trouble. Watch." Victor shook his head in reply, "No, she's not. One thing she does have is a killer body. Breasts were soft, butt was firm. Man. What I'd do to get with that." Victor spoke aloud, grinning at the images filling his head. Alica rolled her eyes, picking up her cup. Thud! "Men..." She huffed before turning on her heels to leave the kitchen. Victor rubbed his head, "Well.. that was seriously uncalled for and hurt rather bad." The male spoke, rubbing the side of his head while he held his left eye closed. A low guttural roar sounded off next to him, "Are you mocking me...?"

Vincent was the quietest he had been in a while. The process took longer then expected, the male assumed that it'd be roughly fifteen minutes then it would be over. Rubbing his temples slowly, the male stared down at the floorboards. Sheesh... could you take any longer!? The male sighed mentally, he was done here and wanted to go back to his room. The elder vampire and half breed princess were more then quiet.. the two hadn't made a noise during the whole process. Not a scream.. yet.

Lithium stared at Vincent for a long time in complete and utter silence. After all, two opposing families that hated one another, there was not going to be any Romeo and Juliet love romance going on between the two. Or well, it could be, but it didn't look like either wanted it to be so far. At least, Lithium had no attention on going back to the House of Kalion like they planed. She knew only too well the consequences for being out of her room unprotected and being captured. There would be yelling mobs at the front gates of the House of Kalion from their people. The people that lived in the small city that surrounded the house and was blocked in by a large towering black bright wall. They would want Sänctus to make an example to her, and she was certain he wouldn't kill he like they would want. Or so she thought. But Sänctus knew the outcome for someone being captured, he knew what he had to do. Deep down inside Lithium did too, but she ignored the fact. She just knew she shouldn't go back to the house of Kalion.

Lithium smiled softly at him. She pulled her long ratted silky hair back over shoulders and sit against the wall. "I'm not a full bred like the other healers. The outcome for me trying to heal someone is a bit harsher than the others. They can instantly heal themselves if they have enough power. I can not." She let out a sigh as she rubbed her temples. This was not going to be a fun exercise. "I only ask that you let me leave this place without any questions when I am healed. Or at least, put me out of my misery if anyone comes to claim me." She blinked, and blanched. It was like the reality of the outcome from her being captured was finally rested safely in her head. The thought made her shutter. "Royalty or not. Being captured and living is not something that is taken lightly at the House of Kalion. Everyone is killed." She nodded her head softly and slide off of the bed.

It was very silent through out the halls as they moved. And the eeriness from the silence only billowed over as they entered the room. The look she got from the servant as she entered was not pleasing. But Lithium ignored it, after all. Being the most loathed thing in all of history, you became accustomed to everyone's hate. It urked her that Vincent and Lucius didn't despise her like everyone else her. But it also made her feel tense and uneasy. Still, she slide quietly over to Lucius' bed. His cough sounded better and she smiled. But then again Liox hadn't been there all day and the milky concoction he gave the nurse to feed Lucius was sitting on a stand near the bed. He looked much better and it made her feel better. So she had helped in some way. That was good.

Lithium had crawled onto the bed. She didn't weigh a lot, so she had laid herself on top of Lucius and placed her ear against his chest. She had even bothered to wrap his arms around her to get a better feel of his body. A better feel of being him to pin point what was wrong. She had her eyes closed and mumbled certain characters not even Vincent would understand. Her arms were wrapped around Lucius so that they rested on his shoulder blades. A soft dark blue light emitted from under his back as well from the corners of her lips and closed eyes. Lithium became extremely pale.

It had been a long wait in silence, well besides Lithium chanting something. Finally, Lithium wriggled in pain on top of Lucius. Her body convulsed but she didn't scream as her lip fell open. Then, after a delay of a few minutes, a high shriek emitted from her lips a her body seemed to be imploding on itself. A chunk of her hair in the front right side was dried of it's beautiful blue and turned to light, old worn out sky blue. She jerked her arms away from Lucius and rolled off the bed as her chants ended after her shriek. Lithium was on her hands and knees, choking. But there was nothing in her throat. A loud coughing emitted from her lips, and she tried desperately to cover her coughing with her fist. With another loud hacking cough blood came out. An outcome from being a half bred healer. She turned and looked back at Vincent with blood shot eyes that were glazed over with tears. Her hacking bloody coughs continued. But she spoke through them, "Poison. It's some sort of poison someone's been feeding him. They've been giving him large amounts of douses recently, but before they only gave him a drop or too. I'm sorry...It hurts..." Lithium's words trailed off with another hacking cough.

Her arm began to wobble after her last hack and she didn't move from her hunched over position. Then Lithium collapsed on the floor in a small pile of her blood. Her breaths were ragged, and her eyes stayed closed. Apparently, she had passed out or slide into a mild coma.

Vincent watched on, carefully. The male looked on in hopes of nothing serious happening. Turning his back to the process, the male jerked around after the horrendous scream. Watching her roll off the bed, Vincent listened closely to her. Poison!? Who could've done something like that..? Vincent questioned to himself before looking down to the female, watching her pass out before him. Quickly stepping toward the female, Vincent wrapped his arms around her torso lifting her up to her feet before turning his head to check on Lucius. The elder seemed to fall asleep.. or been killed. Didn't know at the moment, but, yes.. he wouldn't waste time in finding out. "Shit, shit, shit." Vincent spoke, it was a bind. Definitely a big, tight bind that he was stuck in. Check on Lucius or get the girl back to his room so he could monitor and clean her up. Grabbing a towel off the bench the nurse used, the male threw it to the ground. Placing his foot onto it, wiping most of the blood spewed out by the girl that he could up. Bending over slightly, the male picked it up with his two front fingers, tossing it into the pale next to the bench.

The male had moved the female from a upright position into his arms, carrying her through the room. Vincent nipped at the door knob, twisting it slowly before sliding his foot in between the doors to pull it open. Rushing out of the door, the male made his way down the hall toward his room. Practically kicking open the door, Vincent rushed toward his bed. Tossing the girl toward the middle of his bed, Vincent turned back toward the door. I need to get some water. Vincent though to himself as he rushed out of the door, heads of vampires peered out of the rooms. Everyone looking toward Vincent, all with the same confused look as he jolted down the stairs. Quickly, the male was seen coming back up with a rag and a pale of water. Though, none paid much attention to it.. they all just went back into their rooms.

"I wonder what Vincent is up to." Victor spoke to himself, slowly pacing himself up the stairs. He hated stairs.. was pushed down and up the stairs many times, by many people. His hand clenched onto the railing for dear life, "Stairs are simple... stairs are simple." He muttered to himself up the stairs, letting out a huge sigh of relief after reaching the top. Turning right, Victor breathed in deeply before heading toward Vincent's room. "Hmm.. wonder what he is doing.. rarely ever has his door cracked." Victor mumbled to himself lightly, pushing it open slowly. "Hey, Vincent.. what are you...." Victor began, his eyes moving from the floorboards to Vincent before drawing silent. "You dog, you. I wanted to get her, but, man.. Half bred is claimed already. You have fun, buddy." Victor spoke, smile going from ear to ear as he peered over at the female. "Ohh! Passed out, also! You lucky dog. Have fun.. make sure she doesn't wake up. Alica did before for me.. I almost didn't have anything left." Vincent turned his head, glaring at the male. "Get out." He replied, tone angered. "Whoa.. sorry."

Dipping the rag into the pale of water, Vincent squeezed out most of the excess back into the pale. Moving the rag to her mouth, the male wiped the blood from her chin, cheeks and lips. Tossing it back into the pale, Vincent lifted her slowly, turning her to where her chest was pressing against his legs as he sat at the edge of the bed. Patting her on the back, firmly. Vincent attempted getting whatever was left in her throat out, if there was anything, just so she didn't choke. Shaking his head lightly, his pant leg slowly becoming red in tiny patches. "Must've gotten everything out as you laid on the floor in Lucius' room." The male muttered to himself softly, letting out a small sigh of relief. Placing her back against the bed, the male stood up from the bed. "Rest.. again. You'll need it." He muttered to himself, the idea of him ever getting her to do such a thing wouldn't happen. Healer or not, a half breed couldn't handle it. Well, from what he's seen.. they can't. Shaking his head lightly, What in the hell..? Why do I care what happens to this female? Vincent questioned to himself, She means nothing to you, nor you to her. Should've let her die on the floor. Shaking his head lightly, the male didn't know what to do.

The decision to choose this female over the elder was definitely riding down on his shoulders. Vincent was hoping that his choice wouldn't be negative. Negative like Lucius dying because the male simply choose to help the female over him. The male shook his head a few times, "No. That won't happen." The male murmured to himself, Lucius was nearing the end of his road. The only thing they really needed to find out is who was giving him the poison, or who was slipping the poison into his drink. Probably that damned nurse. Vincent thought to himself, tapping his chin lightly. Moving the chair from his desk in the corner of the room, the male pushed it against the bed side. Sitting down, the male looked over to the female. "Guess I have to sit here and keep and eye on you.." He mumbled softly to her, letting out a small sigh. Whatever did happen, he hoped she'd wake up soon.

Vincent had been sitting there for hours, shifting once in a while to relieve the numbing sensation over coming his bottom half. Through the hours the male sat there and watched her lay there, each shift he'd flinch and sit straight in hopes of her being up. There was much he needed to know about this poison... and if she was fine. The later thought was more reoccurring, she just simply hunched over after she apologized. Her 'I'm sorry.' didn't really hit a note for Vincent, she really had nothing to apologize for. She did what she was asked, giving the repercussions that she knew might happen. Job well done if she awakes from her slumber if you ask Vincent. Groaning softly, the male shifted once more. Leaning forward, the male moved his elbows to dig into his thighs. Letting out a small yawn, the male rubbed his hands against his eyes before leaning back against the chair. Stretching his arms out, crack crack crack. A sigh of relief soon let after the small sounds of the male's back cracking. Slouching down into the chair, the male let out another yawn. Soon, the male didn't even have time to realize he had fallen fast asleep sitting up in the chair.

She hadn't realized she was passed out till visions entered her mind. A long golden meadow with pink and purple flowers accented the golden ones in the meadow around her. Butterflies ran along the bright blue sky and birds were singing their sweet songs to her from the sanctuary of the trees. She felt small and odd in this dream. The flowers that surrounded her were all most at eye level with her. The sun shown brightly overhead and the sky and clouds were both light and soft looking from the morning rays.

The sun?

Lithium had never set foot outside when the Sun was out and shinning overhead. She had never even seen flowers in a meadow with the dew glistening on their petals. Or even butterflies dancing in the sky overhead. But for a moment, she did not care. She followed after the flying butterflies. She stopped every now and then and each time she did a spasm of pain rippled through her dream causing her to gasp. Still, Lithium ignored the pain.

A bright door opened in front of her. It had materialized our of nothing and a bright light flickered from out of the middle of the door. The line of butterflies she had been following so eagerly had flown into the bright light and disappeared. The aura of the door made her wince and close her eyes for a millisecond. When she looked back at the door their was a black silhouette of a woman standing there. The wimple fluttered around her and her arms were extended outwards to Lithium. There were no warnings for Lithium telling her this was the wrong way to go and to turn back. Curiosity struck her like a brick wall. She wanted to know what rested behind the woman in that bright shinning light. With a step towards the extended arms, the woman, Lithium looked up at the woman, embraced her with warmth and a beautiful smile. Lithium quickly realized who this woman looked like. This woman looked almost identical to her! Only this woman was much older and had blond graying hair with gray eyes and tan skin with thin lips and straight eye brows. But there was no mistaking it. This was Lithium's dead mother, Antiquit. "Mom..." Came Lithium's hoarse voice...

Her body finally stirred on the bed. At first, it looked like it was dying, but then she was breathing a little more... Her eyes fluttered open but she didn't stir from the place she rested. Her eyes gazed around at the ceiling. Then she felt the comfort of the mattress beneath her. A bed? Was she in Lucius' bed? Oh no! Lithium fluttered to sit up quickly. She was on her knees and shaking violently. Sweat rolled down her forehead. Lithium found sight of the sleeping Vincent. Her body was practically hovering over his. Her body finally gave out and Lithium fell on top of him. Her head rested against his chest and the rest of her body was slumped up against him. She was panting! She didn't move off of him for a long time. But with a small burst of energy, she pulled away from him and slumped against the wall while still sitting on the bed. She wiped the sweat from her brows.

There was a glowing white star tattoo in the middle of her forehead. Smaller glittering stars ran up on either side of her forehead but disappeared an inch before hitting her hairline, the stars got smaller as they grew closer to her hairline. Swirls pointed inward at the glittering diamond like stars that were completely filled in. In the middle of the long swirls that framed the top of her eye brows were glowing white dots. The long chunk of hair that framed her face and had before been light blue was the same color as the sparkling tattoos, it glittered like diamonds were inbeded in it as well. There were more sparkling tattoos that were on the nape of her neck and vanished into the shirt she wore. Her eyes even sparkled like diamonds, they had turned that sparkling white as well! But they were pointed down, looking at her feet.

"Is Lucius okie? Did he get healed?" Her voice was soft and fragile, but had a frantic tone to it. She continued to look down at her feet, shifting slightly in discomfort. "I know he should be up and walking around like nothing happening. I can feel feel it..." Lithium's lips were pale and she tapped her bottom lip absentmindedly. Her eyes raised to look at Vincent for the first time since she had been awake and the new markings and features had been added to her body. Though, Lithium looked like she was about ready to faint again any second now. "I want to see him...I need to see him..."

The House of Kalion was in complete and utter chaos. Vampires ran to the steps of the House, frantic and scared with cries and screams of terror. Guards were posted around the house and pushed back the frantic mob that crowded the streets of their beloved city. Even the whores of the House that had been hanging all over Lord Sänctus were outside screaming and crying his name out. Then the double doors of the House bolted open and quickly the members of the High council filled out closing the double doors behind them. The mob grew instantly silent as a woman moved forward and stood at the top of the stairs in front of the High council. She looked down at the mob and it was clear that she was old as she clasped her hands together and cleared her throat. With a clear and booming voice she spoke, "Today, just moments ago by the hands of one of the House's whores, Lord Sänctus was found beheaded and nailed to a burning cross that hung from the ceiling of his daughter's room. Without the presence of the princess to take his place as out leader, it has been decided that the High council will act as his substitute. If the princess does not return the crown of the House will be forced onto one of our sleeping elders that we shall wake to rule their era a century too early. Yes, my brothers and sisters, there is now only two elders left and the House has stumbled in to a tragic halt in our normal peaceful ways. Without the princess to take her place as one of the three elders, I am scared to say that our House will be irregular and we will have many bumpy roads to face. With this I part. Blessed be your blessed days!" With that, the doubles doors opened by themselves and the council filled back into the House. The old woman was the last to return into it's safety and she vanished into the darkness behind the others as the doors shut.

Vincent's head bobbed some, sitting up and sleeping really didn't feel good but he hadn't slept at all in the past few days so whether he slept in the chair, on the floor, or in his bed, sleep was better then no sleep. The male hadn't slept in a few days because of minor things that could turn into rather huge problems if he wasn't up to watch over them. Two days before, he didn't sleep an ounce in preparation for the ambush. Night before, he didn't sleep just incase she attempted to fake being passed out and escaped through the windows. The male wasn't very keen on staying up through the night, he just did it when there was something important that was needed or something important that he was asked to do, such as guard this princess. Vincent was the only competent one who can keep watch over something and it remain in the same shape as it was left. Many times Elders asked inbred or other vampires to watch something. It usually ended up broken or misplaced, which usually that thing they were watching over was important in one way or the other.

Vincent stirred slowly, the sound of a voice echoing through his head. Asking to let them see him, they need to see them repeated itself like a record in his head. Breathing in deeply, eyes still shut, the male shifted some. Unwrapping his arms folded across his chest, the male stretched lightly. Crack, crack, crack. A deep sigh was let out from the male, Vincent enjoyed when his back cracked. Seemed that it let out tension in his shoulders along with his lower back for a few moments. Vincent moved his hand to his mouth, a deep yawn soon followed. "What time is it?" The male asked half-asleep, shaking his head some in an attempt to wake himself. Opening his eyes completely, the male squinted. Everything at first was pure white, first time that happened in a while. Shaking his head once more, the male's vision soon became clearer.. eventually going from blurred to crystal clear. Turning his head, the male looked over to the princess. "Oh, you're up." Though, the look on her face wasn't the way it had been. More of a pleading facial expression. "Oh! Right, you want to see him." Vincent spoke, him must've been Lucius. "Right away." He spoke through a yawn.

Standing up, the male stretched as soon as his feet were firmly placed on the ground. Motioning for the female to follow, Vincent walked to his door. Opening for the female, letting her pass before following after. Pulling the door firmly shut, the male quickly stepped in front of the princess to lead her down to Lucius' room. "I'm sure by now, you know how to get to Lucius without a guide." The male joked, letting out a small chuckle before quieting down. "Atleast you are awake, gave me quite a scare. Wasn't very pleasant to see you practically fall over dead." Vincent spoke, with a little hint of concern in his tone. "I don't think, if Lucius isn't better, that I will be having you try another one of those. That was just too much for you to handle." Vincent spoke as he lead her to the door's, "Probably could have been a lot worse. Glad you made it out fine." He spoke, giving her a smile. "Now, I have no clue what happened. I didn't stick by long enough to check since I rushed you back to my room, for all I know.. he could be dead." Vincent spoke, "So. Lets see." He mumbled, placing his hands on the doors, pushing them both openly slowly.

"Lucius!" Vincent exclaimed, "You are walking around!" His tone excited, "You haven't walked in months, its a miracle!" The doors swinging shut behind them, Lucius turned. Smile wide across his face, "Ah, yes, but we have to thank Lithium for that." Though his smile didn't last for long. "Vincent, I need you to step outside and fetch me a glass of water. Throat is dry." Lucius spoke. Vincent could easily tell something bad was about to be said, "Yes, milord. I will be back momentarily." Giving a slight bow, "Don't rush, make sure there is no poison in it." Vincent nodded, Lucius knew about the poison. Must've overheard when she was on the ground. Vincent quickly turned, opening the door to bump into a Valon scout. "Milord!" He spoke as he stepped into the door, moving past the princess. "This came by horse, just outside the gates. Its a letter directed to the head of the Manor." He spoke, though the scout only assumed that it was for Lucius, "Well, give it here, give it here." Lucius spoke. What the contents of that letter had written inside was that Lord Sänctus was found decapitated and nailed to a cross. Soon, Lucius would have to tell this princess that her father was dead while she was here.

Vincent proceeded down the stairs that led toward his room, he knew Lucius was to speak with the female. More then likely thank her and question her about what she planned to do. Lucius knew well enough that he owed her his life and was willing to do whatever she asked. Whatever it may be. "Lucius needs a glass of water." Vincent spoke in the kitchen, his eyes studying the cook closely as he grabbed a glass then filled it from the faucet. Placing it down on the table, "Did I do something wrong for you to be looking at me like you want to behead me...?" The chef asked, his eyes looking left then right. Vincent moved his eyes to the glass making sure there wasn't anything visible in the water, "No sir." He replied before taking the cup.

"Vincent!" Alica called as he took a step out of the kitchen, "Lucius is well again?!" She asked, "I saw his nurse pack up her things then leave." Her tone was excited. She, along with many others wished for Lucius to get well so he could lead them more.

"I don't know, Alica. I will inform you when I speak with him." Vincent spoke, "My apologies." The male replied before moving to the stairs, his movement up them were slow. He didn't want to come back with a half empty glass because he rushed.

Lithium had been quite surprised the way he was talking to her. They had only spent a day or so together and then he had hated her and wanted her dead. But now he was scared that she had almost died. She tried to keep her face completely straight like his words hadn't hit her. But the light pinking of her cheeks told a bit of a different story. Still, she pushed the tingling thoughts and his words aside and focused on following after him quickly.

When the door was opened and she heard Vincent's happy cry she snapped her head up. Then she saw Lucius up and walking around like nothing had happened. Or well, there was a slight sway from the way he moved. She moved out from behind Vincent and forced herself not to run and hug Lucius happily. It would be informal. Then before Vincent left someone came in and happened Lucius a letter. A letter that had been decorated by a hand of a Kalion member.

When they were completely alone, Lucius opened the note and read it quickly before folding it back up and setting it on his nightstand. The doors were both firmly shut and Lucius strolled over to lock the door. It made Lithium jump and crank her neck to look up at him as he still down at her. He was just making sure no one walked in on them while they talked. It was better that way. With a wave of his hand, Lucius motioned Lithium to follow him to the bed where they both sat.

Lucius cleared his throat for a good thirty seconds. He was figuring what to say, or exactly how to put what he wanted to say. His hand found her knee and patted it softly. Lithium stared at it, half expecting him to jerk his hand away from the way her skin felt through the cloth, but she looked up to find his half smiling face. "I can not express to you how grateful I am that you have healed me. But you have given me back my life, therefor I owe it to you." Lithium straightened her back, "You owe me nothing. I di-" "I owe you my life child. You gave me a new one, therefor it belongs to you." Lucius had cut off Lithium's words with a quick squeeze of her knee. Then the smile fell from his face and he jerked his head forward to stare at the double doors. The room fell completely silent before Lucius breathed to began to talk again. He drew his hand back to his lap. "There's something else I need to inform you about Princess. Before I do, I want to tell you that I wish to escort you back to your House. Do not object to it, if you will not accept me to come along with you then I will send Vincent. He needs to see what his true House is like..." Lucius listened to her silence and looked down at her to find her staring at her dangling legs, motionless. He continued, "Princess...the letter I just received was from the House of Kalion, but I assume you already knew that...The thing I need to inform you about is, the House of Kalion is calling you back to become their queen..the third elder." Lithium's head snapped up in a bit of confusion, her brows furrowed. "Lord Sänctus was found murdered. He was beheaded and nailed to a cross that was hanging from the ceiling. I'm sorry you had to find out this way child." Lithium shot up, tears were swelling in her eyes, but they never escaped them. Lucius arose as well. He straightened his clothes and cleared his throat, moving to unlock the doors. "Vincent is almost back..." Lucius called as he unlocked the doors and turned around to look at the still Lithium. "I need to go." Lucius nodded his head at Lithium's words. "I will come too as well." Lithium snapped her head up at him and glared at him. "If you leave this house with me, I'm sure there will be more chaos here than at my own House." Lucius nodded, "At least take Vincent with you. Just wait for him and I'll inform him." Lithium fell silent and her expression fell blank once more.

"Find Zimatheious and kill him. If he's alive, that either means he killed Lord Sänctus himself or he's covering up for someone else that did." The room fell silent and all the cloaked figures of the High Council moved to stare at the old woman that sat in the right chair near where the late Lord Sänctus used to sit. They were all in the High Council room and it was oddly silent. "Do not give me that look! You know as well as I do! You all know how much Zimatheious hated Lord Sänctus and the others elders as well as the princess. He's power hungry and I am surprised that Lord Sänctus let him live so long...Thinking he could fix the poor bastard! Look where it got him!" The faces shifted to look down, away from the old woman's sobbing face. "I know none of you approved of Lord Sänctus' love for a human and then him having an offspring with the woman. You do not approve of the other Elders that treat her like one of us, a normal princess vampire. Well, we may not understand why they act that way towards her, but I trust their judgment. If they trust her enough to treat her like family, then she will take the rightful place as queen. Half bred or not, she is still our princess and she sill holds the blood of one of the Elders."

Someone on the dark side of the room shifted and cleared their throat. The elder woman raised her head to look at the figure, gesturing them to speak. "Malioa...If I am correct old one, then Zimatheious is too scared to act out this treachery alone. I believe there are others involved in his betrayal, and we must find then and bring them to justice!" The white hand appeared in the light of the room and smashed into the arm rest with such force that some of the chair crumbled to pieces. The room muttered with agreement and Malioa, the old woman, raised her hand and the room fell silent again. "I believe you are right Thiuk. But for now, we must wait to see if the Princess is alive and if so. We need her to be placed as our third Ancient, or Elder as most of you know them as." The room nodded their head. Malioa put down her old wrinkled hand softly. "Then it is decided. We send out a group of warriors to find Zimatheious and kill him on sight as well as another group to find the Princess and bring her home." Thiuk's hand gripped his arm chair and crashed more of the material. "Yes, Thiuk?" "I think we should wait another morning for the Princess. I have been her bodyguard before, and though she has been gone for a few too many nights, she always returned." "Yes Thiuk. But she was abducted, and if she is wounded or if they harm enough where she can not heal herself. Are you willing to say that if that is the cause you will take full responsibility for her death and the destruction of the House of Kalion?" "No Malioa, old one. I change my mind then. I will send out a group of my men to bring her home safely." Malioa nodded and frowned. "Let's just hope she is all in one piece." With their murmur replies of agreement, the High Council was dismissed, and the room filtered out quickly. Leaving Malioa alone in her silence.

Vincent walked up the stairs slowly, his intent wasn't to try to eavesdrop on Lucius and Lithium's conversation at hand, he walked slowly because of the glass of water. Vincent wasn't careless and dropped things easily, he's just been in this house long enough to know that if you walk with something up the stairs that there is a high chance to have it knocked from your hands. So, walking carefully and keeping your eyes opened seemed to pay off the best. Reaching the top of the stairs, Vincent let out a minor sigh of relief, he was glad no vampire came rushing around the corner and either, knocked him down the stairs with the glass or knocked the glass from his hands. Before wasting too long standing at the top of the staircase, Vincent began to walk normally through the halls. Taking a few turns here and there to prolong him actually getting to Lucius' room just incase they were still in conversation. Moving to the door, the male heard some shuffling like Lucius had been waiting for him to come in minutes ago. Pushing the door openly slowly, the male slipped in... instantly feeling that something had been said and the female wasn't taking well to it.

"Your drink, milord." Vincent spoke softly, handing the glass over to the male. Lucius nodded in reply, Vincent felt that it was out of place for him to ask what exactly went on while he was gone. "I suspect foul play." Lucius spoke, breaking a silence that seemed to linger over the room. Foul play? Foul play for what? Vincent asked himself, cocking a brow before his head turned to the elder. Lucius shook his head at the male. What exactly was he shaking his head for? "May I ask..." "No, you may not." Lucius spoke, cutting off the male before he could finish what he was saying. "Lord Sänctus was found dead sometime today." Lucius spoke, Vincent followed his eyes to look toward the female who had seemingly paced back and forth in the room. Easily could tell that she was on the verge of tears, "You are to take Lithium back to the House of Kalion tonight. You shall not stop til you get there, no matter what attempts to stop you on the road. Brother or opposing clan. You are to kill them if they demand you to stop." Lucius spoke in more of a demanding tone then he had before, "Yes, milord. I shall not stop nor let anything that attempts to stop me live." Vincent watched Lucius stand up, slowly moving to the girl to place his hand on her shoulder once before pushing her slowly toward Vincent. "Time for you two to get ready for your journey..." Lucius spoke softly, his voice growing low. "I need you for a moment, Vincent." Lucius called once before they made it to the door, Vincent had led his hand to her shoulder, giving her a slight rub. "I'll be right back." He whispered before pushing her out the door softly, closing it so she couldn't hear what went on in the room.

"Vincent, you do know you will not becoming back right?" He asked, Vincent nodded. "I know what will happen, sire. I will be taken prisoner and be dealt with accordingly. Price someone must pay for taking the princess." Vincent answer, giving his master as he stood up tall. "We will find out who's done this, Vincent. Your time in there will be short, I promise." Vincent shook his head slightly, "There is no reason to lie to me, Lucius. More then likely I will be tortured days on end until I'm left to hang there til I die." Lucius grew quiet because he knew all to well that that was to happen to this male. Nodding his head softly, "We will meet again, milord. Though, it will be on the other side." Giving him a smile before turning to face the door, Lucius said nothing. The elder simply turned his back to the male, Vincent gave another nod before exiting the room. "I apologize, princess. Just wanted to keep me focused on the task at hand." The male spoke after clearing his throat lightly, how was he just willing to lead this female back to where they abducted her? What changed him within a night? If only the male knew.

Vincent led the female to his room, the two didn't say a word to one another. Didn't seem like it was any good to say anything, she had lost something dear to her and he was about to take her back to rule where she should still be learning how she'll fit as a Queen. Vincent pushed the doors closed after he followed Lithium into his bedroom, a small smile came to his face as he looked down to his book. The smile quickly fading, touching the book for a moment before picking it up. "I want you to have this." Vincent spoke as he moved toward her, "This mockery might help you lead your people if you realize how some clans work. Valon would probably be the easiest one to understand and get allied with.. since you saved Lucius from death." Vincent spoke, as he pushed the book into her hands. "I suggest taking your time and studying the characters first. Try to get them to seem like text from your readings." He continued, "Thats what Lucius had me do. Wasn't used to reading any of these characters.. no characters, actually. Taught me everything that he knew. Atleast he is healthy and able to lead on for many more years." Vincent spoke, giving out a small chuckle. "Here's to our dooms, right?" The male asked softly before taking a step back to her.

Looking at the female, a urge slowly crept over it. Wasn't a bad urge. Her facial expression hadn't changed at all from when she was in Lucius' room. Taking the step back toward her, the male brought his hands up to her shoulders, rubbing the cloth with his thumbs lightly before pulling her into him. Arms wrapping around her lightly, it was a simple hug. For whatever reason, it seemed just to feel necessary. No matter how hard he would've tried fighting himself on it, he would've done it anyway. "I apologize that this has all happened." His right hand ran up and down her back, repeating the slow motion against the cloth before stopping. Even though Vincent was apologizing, part of him felt that it would've happened sooner or later. Though, how bad it would be was too soon to tell. Something told Vincent that it just wasn't over... not
by a long shot.

"Gather round, my children!" Lucius shouted from the meeting hall all the way in the back of the Manor. "As all can tell, I am better. To put rumors to rest, I am. For all to know, I was poisoned. The doses kept getting stronger and stronger as each day past. The saddening news is that the person who did it, stands in this room." Lucius spoke, pausing for a slight breath of air. "Before anyone is to start pointing fingers, this person will be dealt with. There will be no news of who it is when I find who it is." The male's eyes crossed the sea of vampire heads. "From now until dawn, there will be no moving about near my part of the Manor. Anyone who is found there will be tortured for thirty days before they are freed." A gasp echoed through the crowd, Lucius had everyone come to the meeting hall so Vincent could sneak the princess out without whoever was trying to harm her noticing.

Vincent had rushed the female through the Manor, her change of clothes symbolized more of her Houses colors then his. Reaching down from the horse, Vincent pulled the female up into his lap. Kicking the horse in the sides with his heels, the male felt the horse immediately pick up speed. With that burst, they were off the property of Valon and into the wilderness where anything was possible.

Vincent eased the horse into a fast paced trot. "I estimate that we'll get to Kalion within a few hours, if you feel you should rest. Lean back against me, I will keep you up on the horse until we are there." Vincent spoke his arms slipping around the sides of the female so there wasn't any chance of her slipping off. Vincent couldn't help but think what exactly was to happen to him. More then likely, he'd be tortured in an attempt to break down and admit why he abducted the princess in the first place. The male let out a sigh, one that could be easily noted as a uncomfortable one. He felt uncomfortable with taking the female back to Kalion only because no matter what she did, she wouldn't be listened to and prevent what was to happen to him.
