mage x assassin [ f x m ]
.....a mage, living in a secluded cabin east of Riften, discovers the complex intricacies
of soul gems, which are "..naturally-occurring magic stones that house the souls of the dead". while attempting
to understand the nature of these crystals, the mage becomes eager to use the incredibly powerful soul trap spell.
when an assassin is contracted to not only kill the mage but also to steal the spell tomes that were created
by the mage. however, when the assassin attempts to carry out the request, the mage retaliates by performing the
spell they had been working on, one that not only traps the victim's soul in a gem but also sucks out the energy of
that soul back into the user.
this spell backfires incredibly, as the assassin is left soul bonded to the mage, which means any damage/harm done
to the mage, is also afflicted onto them. they are able to read the other person's thoughts.
