Lan had been worried about this day for a long time, the day he would have to meet his arranged bride. It had been set up before he was even old enough to like girls, before he knew what it meant to be prince. He was to marry a girl he barely even knew, one he had only seen one or twice when he was a child, one he couldn't remember a thing about. The marriage was to unite their two people, it would make them safer if there was ever a war against one. He didn't want to marry her, still he had to do it for his people, not to mention how nervous he was to meet her. His blue and gold eyes looking to the distance, wondering if she would even show.

Lan hand brushed through his blue hair with a sigh, "Maybe she won't come after all." He said with an almost hope behind it. He wondered if it was true that female Fairies were very small, never having really met any, at least not in his memory. If he could just remember her, he wished just one memory of her would appear in his mind.

Lili gave a small sigh as she arrived at the of the elven king and his son, Prince Lan. She gripped her mother's hand lightly as she walked with her inside. 'Why can't she just marry his father?' She thought to herself as they came closer to the prince's bedchamber. Lili wouldn't have dared ask that aloud, though. She knew it was for the good of her people, whether she liked it or not. Just like Lan, Lili couldn't remember anything about him or his people either. In truth, she pictured someone very short when thought of him, much like that of a stereotypical troll. Even if he wasn't, she wondered what he would think of her, standing at almost 5'7".

With a heavy sigh, she released her mother's arm and gave her a lingering hug before bidding her farewell. Lili then turned to face the door, taking a deep breath and holding it before she knocked.

Lan sighed softly as he heard the knock on the door and walked to the door. It could only be here, she was the only expected company. He opened the door and looked down towards Lili, she was short but not for a female, He was glad she was not as short as the rumors he had heard. He moved out of the way, "My Lady, I'm Lan... it's an honor to meet you." He bowed, being pretty nervous. She was beautiful, even if he was being forced to marry he couldn't complain too much.

Lili smiled softly, rather surprised as well as relieved that she had to look up at him. She also surprised by his looks as well. 'He's rather handsome.' She thought to herself. She placed her hands on the edges of her dress, giving him a graceful curtsy in return for his bow. "And I am Lili, my lord. It is a pleasure to meet you as well." She said softly before she entered his room.

Lan closed the door, as he blushed just a little, " I must say you're not what I expected, although that's a good thing." He walked behind her looking around, " I hope you like it here, after all it is my home, a soon yours." He said, not sure what to say to this beautiful woman.

Lili looked at him curiously. She started to ask what he meant, but stopped herself. She just assumed he was expecting some 'tinker bell' version of a fairy that humans read to the children in story books. She kept her wings folded down against her back as she turned to face him, nodding lightly. A moment of silence passed in the room, she was quite nervous as well.

Lan sat down next to her a bit red, "Don't tell me, you're just as nervous about this aren't you.... marry for the sake of your people... despite not really feeling you should have to." He said looking at her, 'Of course I must admit a felt a little better about it when I saw you... just still feel like I don't know you.."

Lili nodded lightly, blushing about as much as he was by then. She sat next to him, smiling a bit as she realized he felt the same way she did. "Yes, that's it exactly." She said, nodding again. "I guess we could get to know each other now?" She asked, looking up at him.

Lan smiled and nodded, "I would love that.... maybe it would show us we have more in common then we think..." He went red, starting to remember her a little be more from when they had met, still is was fuzzy.

Lili took notice of his blush, her face bearing a curious expression as to why. She shrugged it off mentally, thinking he had his reasons. She gave a soft smile as she looked into his eyes. "So, where shall we start?"

Lan thought about it as he looked at her, " I guess we can start any where you want. I guess do you think you'll be happy to marry me? I mean, I don't know why but I have this feeling deep inside that I'll really love being with you."

Lili blushed a bit as he spoke, her hands fiddling with her dress somewhat as she looked down at her lap. She then looked back up at him, offering another soft smile. "Well, even though I don't know you very well, something about you makes me feel... safe. I definitely I shall enjoy being around you to say the least."

Lan smiled his hand going over hers, "I will keep you safe, I will be your loyal husband, I assure you that. Now because I have to, but because I want to." He started remembering long ago, remembering playing with this girl, this girl with the beautiful wings.

Lili smiled again as he laid his hands over her own, a warm feeling passing between the two of them. Her wings fluttered lightly as his words only caused her blush to grow some. As his hand remained over hers, her magic allowed her to feel his thoughts and emotions. Soon, she realized that they had known each other before. She could see his hazy childhood memories of the two of them playing together. "So we have met before.." She mumbled softly, gasping lightly when she realized she had said it aloud.

Lan blushed, how did she know he was thinking that? Maybe she just remembered, maybe she didn't know, "Yes, long ago when we were just children, you were the girl I played with a few times.... I remember now, those beautiful wings of yours. I remember I thought you were beautiful." He said looking into her eyes.

"Th-thank you." She said softly, her smile growing wider as she looked into his eye. Lili had caught the previous look he gave her. She knew he would wonder how it was that she knew his thoughts. I may as well tell him now.. She thought to herself. She clasped his hands within her own. She closed her eyes for a moment, concentrating all her energy on a simple thought. I can hear your thoughts and feel your emotions when we're close like this. She thought this to herself, but not really. She was actually projecting that very thought into Lan's mind, allowing him to hear it as well.

Lan's heart beat a little fast as she held his hand, only going more as she explained she could ready his thoughts and emotions. He was a bit nervous now, that she would know he thought she was really attractive, that she attracted him, made him want to kiss her, hold her, be close to her. If she could sense that, would she hate him for thinking such things? He said nothing, not able to get any words out.

Lili blushed a bit as she sensed his nervousness, releasing his hands as she placed her own back in her lap. "I wouldn't dare pry into your private thoughts, though." She said in her defense, meaning it sincerely. Although she had heard his thoughts about how attracted he was to her, her initial opinion of him had not changed. "I still feel safe around you." She said softly just before she leaned closer to him, placing a soft kiss on his lips.

Lan put his hands to her side as he felt her lips on his, kissing her back softly. She felt so good, making him move closer to her, kissing her more not wanting to stop.

She blushed a bit as she felt him continuing the kiss. She kissed him back none the less. Her hands slid up to his shoulders slowly as she felt his hands at her sides.

Lan's hands slide up her sides, deepening the kiss as he added tongue. She felt so nice, his little fairy princess, he had no idea why he was falling for her so fast.

Lili was beginning to wonder why it was that he had become so attracted to her so quickly. She was flattered of course, but that didn't keep her from becoming a bit suspicious. She continued to kiss him softly, blushing a bit when she felt his tongue entering her mouth, accepting it none the less. As her thoughts wandered back to earlier that afternoon, she came to a simple resolution. This was indirectly her mother's doing. When Lili hugged her before, some of the Queen Fairy's natural pheromones had rubbed off onto her body, explaining how Lan could be so attracted to her so quickly.

Lan kissed her more, lyaing her back a bit as he pressed close to her. He couldn't help him slef, his arms close around her as his tongue explored her mouth. He moaned a bit, it felt so good having her warm body near his own.

Now Lili was getting a bit nervous, even more so when she felt his tongue invading her small mouth. She blushed heavily as Lan laid her back against his bed, her hands grasping his shoulders slightly. She would eventually pull back from the kiss, panting slightly from lose of breath and blushing ever still as she looked up at her soon to be husband.

Lan smirked a bit, as his lips went against her neck kissing and sucking on it softly. Having sexy with a fairy, it didn't sound that bad of an idea now, being married to one sounded even better.
