Question Ignore?

Hello! I'm curious, what exactly does the 'ignore' function do that you see on a person's profile?

And second, is there any way to tell if you are being 'ignored' by someone?

I don't know if you can tell that you're being ignored. I'd assume that if someone isn't getting back to you anymore then yes.

The function if you click it, should make it so you don't receive messages from said person even if they send them.

You also won't see their posts and they won't show up in follower lists.

To expound, people you're ignoring can still see you, right?

The day I joined, I saw an ad from someone I had to block on Discord a couple days earlier for harassment. I immediately ignored them, but I wouldn't even know if they were 'stalking' me here.

From my understanding yes they can see you, they just can't message you and you can't see their content.
