The painful memories began to fill her mind as the feeling of simply being tied down, by the end of the whip wrapping tightly around her ankle only bounded her to a reality that she did not reside comfortably in. A reality that brought her back from her make believe story of fairy tales and freedom. No, this was not that type of story but a more sinister one. One that compelled on pushing her to getting caught time and time again. This time, however, she was captured by one of her own; a full blood at that. “No!” Her voice carried out and echoed, taking over the previous noise of the cracking whip. A louder noise concealed the ending syllable of her word. A loud crash. Glancing up, her own sapphire orbs took in the sight of a female. The same one that she noted within the confines of the previous temple. Standing there with a smaller demon at her calf.

Narrowing her eyes, and assuming this female had the same business as the one that now was pulling her closer to him with a flick of his wrist. Her body silently being dragged across a red carpet that led to either side. One her freedom and the other servitude. Desperately, she clawed at the ground below her, breaking a few of her beautiful nails in the process, as she tried to escape the male behind her. To no prevail, her form continued to move away from her delightful freedom and closer to continuing her servitude, just with this man. For the time being, she paid little attention to the female in front of her and, being the person who only relied on herself and not on others, she continued to try to pull herself out of the whip. It’s ends only grew tighter around her ligament.

Inch by inch, she moved closer to him. The friction from the floor below her was now holding her scandalous attire, the small and tight dress, against it's will while her body moved, revealing her perfect and round ass as she was being pulled closer to him. Her freedom now no longer a choice but a far off dream. Then, after the other two exchanged words, she heard the other female speak again. Offering her a chance to become free; fully free! Iris thought about the decision quickly and, in the end, nodded her head. “Just cut the whip or rid this world of him! Either way I want free!” Her voice was screaming, a bit higher at the moment but still holding that Heavenly beauty to it’s tone when she spoke, while she was still fighting him for the very thing she longed for; freedom. For it was the only Master she would serve.

Switch watched as Iris was dragged closer to the Fallen with a blank expression. The woman was truly stubborn, but if she wanted to be saved from a horrid fate, she would ask for help. Though, Switch would probably be only a buffer between the Fallen. She knew by looking at the male that he wouldn't let the woman go so easily, and Switch would have to let her demonic side out to play if things went down hill. She heard the faint snap of nails breaking, and smelled the light fragrance of blood. Her eyes darkened briefly before she regained herself. Her lips parted to allow the cigarette into her mouth as she took a steady drag. The young half-breed had never really been attracted to members of the same sex, but with Iris's beauty and creamy skin exposed along with her angel scent filling her nose, she couldn't help but grin in the faintest at the exposure of her lower body. That whip was going to leave a bruise if she struggled any further.

Watching Iris struggle amused her as well as exasperated her. Did the little twit believe she could escape on her own? Apparently she did until she heard the woman give in and ask for help. Switch took a deep inhale as she brandished her sword and swung it at the taut whip, planning on cutting it off easily. Staring at the Fallen, Switch hefted Iris up by the arm and held her close to her own form, her grip like steel. Though she was gentle, there was a sense of possession in her grip. Jack purred and rubbed against Iris as Switch spoke.

"I'll make you a deal, Fallen, since this woman doesn't belong to either of us. I'll ask her a question, and if she can answer it correctly, she goes free-unharmed. If she can't answer, then we'll decide between the two of us who should keep her or...if we should share."

She turned her gaze down towards Iris, she had some sympathy for the woman, but the Devil in her wanted to claim her beautiful little body and drink her blood like nothing else. And the added bonus of a male pure-blood as her own couldn't be passed up. Her sword was once again attached to her side as her gloved hands stroked the smooth strands of Iris's hair with affection she hardly showed anyone.

"What will it be?"

The question seemed to be asked of both of them.

The sword would cut the whip easily, though as she was released the end of it would rejoin the rest of the whip as he drew it back, coiling it around his slim waist. The woman had some spunk he'd have to admit. He'd fought his share of demons in his days as an archangel before he moved up in rank to Power. It brought him back to those days before he became part of the order of angels in charge of the success or failure of nations. Vemillion crossed his arms over his chest as he examined the woman holding the hybrid close as well as the other demon. Though he ignored it mostly as it wasn;t the one talking. A question? This caused the angel to look at her inquisitively. What sort of question would she ask? Seeing as the Nephilim was in the mood to play he decided to play along with this. "Fine, fine, fine... I'll play along, but this had better be worth my while," He cruelly smirked those painted lips yet again. "I do not take well to being trifled with and though I do not have the Grace to back me, I am still a force to be reckoned with. So go ahead, ask her your question, and if she can't answer, perhaps we can negotiate something." He said tapping his lips thoughtfully. Truth be told, the demonic woman was somewhat attractive in her own right and might be kind of fun. Vermillion was never one to turn down a pleasure, especially now that he didn;t have to worry about snoopy Dominions looking over his shoulder.

The harsh sound of the slamming sword that hit the floor, metal against wood, echoed loudly within her ears. Loud enough to make her wince before, a split second before, she realized the tight grasp along her ankle lessened. Quickly, she scurried to her feet without looking back at the man. There, a pair of welcoming arms was awaiting her. Not in a submissive manner but a pro-active one, she ran into those open arms of the female. Her chest continued to rise and fall as she gasped for a normal and steady breath. Her arms lingered downwards to fix the horrible displacement of her short dress. She turned and glanced back at Verm, her eyes piercing with hatred while they narrowed. From behind her, the slight piercing sting from the previous wound that Verm caused along the middle of her back and in between her wing joints. The pallid wings now hidden underneath her soft flesh.

Once there, and moving slightly, she realized just how secure the grip was. This female, this other beingâ??s grip was so tight that when Iris moved against it with the simplest motions she realized, or could feel, just how secure it was. The strength coming from this being was unspoken but there. Iris remained still, her chest still rising and falling. For a moment, she glanced downwards as she felt something rubbing up against her leg. There, was a smaller demon. One that slightly would have freaked Iris out had it been any bigger and more of a threat. The woman spoke and iris glanced back up.

With her body pressed firmly against the other femaleâ??s she realized how loudly her heart must have sounded since she could feel itâ??s rapid beating from the pressure up against her breast. It almost harmed her chest and caused great discomfort but she would never exposed the feeling externally. Her facial expression remained calm, a perhaps a bit hateful as she continued to stare at Verm. Her true feelings, however, could be heard within the beating of her heart. Steadily, she pulled her attention away from Verm and back to the other female as she spoke. â??I beg your pardon?â?

Her eyes widened as she felt her heart jump up while her hands pressed against the female in an attempt to get away. Even then, after her effort to escape from the female proved to be futile, she settled down and listened to the regulation. Her passionate eyes narrowed as she remained still while she spoke. â??I will play your game, you revolting fools, but I will not be taken into servitude. Especially with the both of you!â? Iris kept her eyes locked on Verm before turning back to Switch. Her lips parted when she spoke the malice words but the tone held anything but threat to them. The fact that she had such a pleasant voice only meant that her use of words would depict her true nature. Right now, it was hatred. She would not be shared nor would she fall back into the very thing she was trying to escape.

"Such an impatience...makes one wonder why you were cast out."

Switch said with an even tone and a light hint of amusement. She watched Iris struggle in her grasp and she sighed lightly. She didn't want to hold the woman against her will, but it was an act she had to keep playing. Despite the half-breed's delicious scent, Switch actually meant to protect the woman. She would make sure that the Fallen didn't cause her harm. She tipped her head to Iris's ear and spoke softly.

"Hush. He will hunt you down if no deal is struck and I can only keep you hidden for so long. Besides...you like being held by me."

The half-devil lifted her head, knowing the fallen angel had been unable to hear her. She felt Jack within her conscious mind, throwing easy questions at her that the half-breed angel should know. But it wasn't that simple. The Fallen wouldn't stick to his word and she knew it. She didn't want to force Iris into servitude, but to protect her, Switch was going to have to.

"All right, hybrid. The question shall be....Who is my grandfather?"

Switch didn't smile, didn't grin, just stared with blank intensity at the Fallen before looking down at the helpless woman in her arms. Jack hissed in her mind and she shook it off. It was a hard question, and the only one who might have any clue would be the male standing several feet away. She glanced down at Iris and shrugged her shoulders gently.

"I will give one hint. He was one of the first to be cast out from Heaven."

Such a futile attempt it was for Irisâ??s attempt to escape the womanâ??s grasp. It seemed, as of late, everything she tried in, she failed miserably. The hybrid stilled her movements just in time to feel the other womanâ??s lips against her ear. The hot air breathing softly upon the sensitive skin. If Iris was not in the trying position she was in she would have easily found this erotic and enjoyed the moment, perhaps moving it on to the next level has she not recently sworn off all types of sexual nature due to her previous, and now her possibly current position, in servitude.

The words soared through her ears. A warning. A truth that portrayed this man as what he truly was. A hunter pursuing the very thing he might be denied. Iris calmed her nature, her primitive instinct to struggle and run if the chance proved itself possible. Instead, she lingered on the words, the last words, the female said to her. Did she? Did she truly enjoy being held by the female? Perhaps she did but now was hardly the time to be discussing such events.

Iris continued to hold her body still, the pressure of her small form against the womanâ??s while her eyes glanced over, still narrowing, back at the one who was previously chasing and whipping at her. If she got this question, now vocally presented, correct then she was free. She inhaled deeply, nearly tasting the sense of independence upon her sweet lips. From there, she brought her lower lip in and gently sucked upon it as if the taste were truly there, or it could have been that she was concentrating greatly. The second hint came and immediately, she knew the answer. With the smaller demon still along her bare legs, causing her to shiver slightly as she hadnâ??t been touched in a week or so by another, Iris parted her lips and moved her attention solely to the man standing in front of her. â??Any uneducated twit could tell you the answer is Lucifer.â? Her lips sealed themselves, diminishing the choir like voice, before turning sharply into a evil smirk. Her answer was correct and she knew it. Which meant that she was free. Right?

Switch knew when the angel hybrid had figured out the answer due to the hint. She figured as much and smiled lightly to herself as the woman's heart beat slowed down in the slightest. She also knew the hybrid was thinking about whether she liked being held or not by the Devil. At Iris's words, Switch couldn't help but laugh in the slightest, the sound like tinkling bells even with its muted state. She looked at the Fallen with a faint shrug as she spoke softly.

"She is correct."

Switch didn't let the woman go just yet, knowing that the Fallen might become angry and vengeful. If so, the grip she had on the angel in her grasp would help serve to shove her behind Switch and save them the trouble of having to figure out where to go. If the Fallen attacked, the Devil half-breed would at least be able to get to one of her weapons in time. Jack mewed and rubbed against Iris's legs one more time before turning his multicolored gaze onto the male angel with a Cheshire Cat grin.

Such a droll and easy question. Especially for one who spent most of their time in a church. Clearly this other hybrid was attempting to save the other with such a pedestrian question for her freedom. The Nephilim's cruel cerulean eyes rolled with annoyance. Though the answer did elude to what the smaller creature at her side was, which only compounded the fallen one's frustration at the moment. While he was fully capable of fighting demons Lucifer was a different class in himself and while Iris herself wasn't really a factor as easily as he'd felled her dealing with a half demon and another fallen was a bit more than he cared to deal with without the full host of his powers. He might be able to take them, it was just a matter of if he really wanted the trouble at the moment.

"Little mongrel trollop." The fallen spat from his painted lips at her laughing. He lowered his head and swept his silverish locks back over his shoulder as he faced the three with malice. His conduit flashed in his hands awaiting the form the fallen wished it to take. "How utterly annoying." he hissed, biting his lower lip, he pondered for a moment, his eyes staring through Switch and to the hybrid, not taking his cruel gaze from her before his eyes narrowed with contempt.

"Birds of a feather I suppose..." The Fallen one lilted, tilting his head to the side with a mocking smirk. His raven-feathered wings opening up behind him before their span flapped forward with a gale force wind that sent books flying and small objects airborne. The force of the flap brought him a few feet in the air back from where he was standing, where he kept aloft with steady flaps. "Bothersome... But I suppose it shouldn't come as a surprise. Fine, I agreed to your droll little game so by it she goes free." The Nephilim said, appearing rather annoyed by this with a wave of his hand and how he rolled his eyes. "Tell the little scamp to flee with her little wings tucked away because I have yet to deal with your earlier insult as well as this one." The Nephilim said, bringing his conduit in front of him. Stretching his hands wide as a two-handed sword appeared in his grasp.

Nothing the Fallen said escaped Switch's notice nor did she care. She had received even worse insults than the little chit of a angel would come up with. She was only slightly surprised that he knew that much in the way of insults. Her other self, her beast that she had in a cage was pressing against the bars in her mind, jonesing for release. But she wouldn't let that beast go. Even with Jack around. She had more control than that. Looking down at Iris, she shoved her behind her gently but firmly.

"You might want to either stay behind me or fly out of here."

She said with that same even tone as she watched Verm float up into the air. Her own wings flapped impatiently against her back as she stared, her eyes gaining that red tint as before. She took three deep breaths as her entire body relaxed. She felt a faint nudging against her shoulder as her curved sword appeared at her side. It was a large weapon, almost as big as Switch herself with the blade's edge curving like crescent moons all the way to the tip on either side. But she wasn't going to use her Demon blade, she was going to use the one at currently resting in her palm. By some unknown command, the larger blade soon rested against the back wall of the church as she heard Jack yowl. She didn't need his help in this fight, though his cerebral connection to her would be unbreakable.

"Which earlier insult might that be? As a Fallen you are beneath even a half-breed such as myself."

She said with an amusement lacing her tone. She wanted him to get angry. Anger usually caused people to make mistakes, and even the angels she had met had the same problem when it came to controlling anger. She was a being of rage, and knew better than even a saint on how to control and channel her anger into attacks and calculations. She just hoped that her Berserker would stay asleep for this.

Irisâ??s perfectly formed and pink lips pressed into a mocking smirk as she glared back at Verm. Her answer had been right and the cockiness within her tone had only displayed the courage and self righteousness that she knew she deserved and held. She, who was once being hunted and whipped by the fallen standing across from her, had shown him. Rightfully so! How dare he mock her and try to insert this lie that she was not worthy of freedom nor her genetic makeup. Fool! Which was exactly what he was. Perhaps now he would learn that the meek will inhabit that Earth, rule around him, and he will be damned to spend it powerless but inhabiting it as well.

The smile upon her lips remained but soon began to fade as she listened closely to Switchâ??s words but paid more attention to the Fallenâ??s expressions. Something that was stated within the previous stipulations was not being followed through. She could tell he was angry. Perhaps due to the fact that he didnâ??t win and his â??prizeâ?? was certain to escape him and live out her freedom without being tamed by him. Still, she felt her beating heart racing again as she pressed her body up and closer to Switchâ??s. The heat caused between both forms brought a comfort to the hybrid, Iris, as she watched the Fallen spit words at the two of them and then form swords within each hand.

Quickly, she felt the bottom of her small dress brush along the bare legs as her frame was rapidly moved to the side and behind the other female. A rush went through her as her frame was taken over, even for a moment, with such a powerful and quick force, that it almost reminded her of the slight pleasure she held while being enslaved. Of course all the sexual acts were amazing, especially when she was forced to do training with other females, but this, again, was not the time nor place to be dwelling in such lustful activities. Iris shook her head and retreated to the present reality in front of her. Hearing Switchâ??s words brought a sadness to her expressions, while her eyes still held the fear within them as she continued to look at Verm. â??I cannot leave youâ?¦not now.â? Her voice, as soft and angelic as one expected it to be, whispered softly against the other hybridâ??s ear. Her sweet breath moving and coursing over the sensitive skin. Truth was, she was afraid and uncertain. If she left, the Fallen one would certainly find her again. Switch was her only chance of survival and she planned on staying for just that.

Though obviously perturbed by this affair, the Nephilim was indeed unpleased, but it would take more than a few words to make an angel of his caliber even though fallen, to lure him into such that he makes mistakes in blind anger. No, the angel was still methodical in his righteous anger at Switch's actions. "I am not tainted by humanity. I am not some mutt who is neither one or the other." The angel leveled out. Watching as Iris seemed to cuddle up to the other one. So she wasn't going to leave. This opened up possibilities...

With a downward slashing motion that ended with the blade pointed at Switch, a bolt of lightning would arc from the tip of the blade aimed towards her vicinity. The arc of lightning being unpredictable would be difficult to dodge as it wasn't purely moving in a straight line. If it made impact it would strike with enough voltage to knock one from their feet and possibly stun them considering they weren't completely human. The rough equivalent of what one gets if they came in contact with a downed power line. It was not a death blow by any means, but one that would certainly cause disorientation.

One might say that Verm was testing the waters to see how powerful Switch was.

â??How dare you call out such a cruel name! Mutts or not, they still inherit more of the Earth then you do!â? Iris was smirking at this point, she knew her comment would wild the man up and since Switch, her female protector at the time, was working on getting him to make a mistake, she thought she would help. Iris, who was indeed half angelic, was still healing from the wound that was delivered earlier. The skin, within the amount of time that it had taken the trio to get to this point, was almost healed. Bringing the sides inwards and closing around to secure the growth of new skin around it. It was one of the reasons her previous keepers enjoyed whipping her so. The easier it was to heal the more fun they would get from seeing her cry out in pain. And she did just that. Iris despised whips. Anything that came near her back that could be used as a tool for punishment brought her great agony.

For now, she remained back behind Switch, the smaller demon still rubbing along her leg before he moved back even father brought her to shiver slightly from the unusual and kind touch. Demonic or not, it wasnâ??t s bad to be touched by something that wouldnâ??t force her or punish her, at least, not that she knew of. Glancing from the smaller demon back to Verm brought her sapphire orbs to widen as she noticed the elongated form of lightning emerging from it. Quickly, and with the previous wound healed, Iris forced the wings to emerge from her back as she jumped up and lifted her frame upwards just a few inched, about six or so. Even then, as the stunning color of the display neared her, it wasnâ??t enough. Glancing down, she saw as it reached her feet and, some how, appeared to wrap around her ankle before leaving. Though the damage wasnâ??t done. The destruction from the display would cause her wings to swift back into her flesh and make her drop, landing harshly along her knees and bent over. It had filled her body with enough pain to push her hands to dig into the red carpet below and clench at the fabric while remaining quiet. It had stun her for the time being. So much, that she couldnâ??t quite get up. â??Foolâ?¦â? her words seeped out through press lips.

Switch watched as Iris took the brunt of the lightning attack, the other part of the streak diffused by the soles of her boots. But it wasn't as though she was unaffected. She grit her teeth as the electricity flew through her system, stealing her breath a moment. Her demonic blood gave her a higher resistance to electricity than it would with a normal human and since angels were "purer" they were more prone to being ruptured by the energy. Still, a faint stream of smoke rose up from her boots before dissipating. Taking a shuddering breath, Switch looked to Iris to see the angel had landed harshly on the floor. Jack took the initiative and stood before the angel, his tail swishing as his body seemed to grow. From domestic cat to a monstrous beast with a fire brand for a tail, Jack's teeth now resembled ivory daggers. Black fire seemed to dance about his paws and mane, eyes glowing with power. He was fierce and magnificent in the way that predators and monsters could only be. He resembled a giant lion will a prowess no other could ever hope to match.

After all, He was one the seven the Guardians of Hell.

His wings settled against his back as he looked down at Iris and lightly nudged her shoulder with his muzzle, gentle in a way that contradicted his large size and demon nature. Switch had only seen this form a few times, but it seemed necessary if he was going to protect Iris and possibly escape with her. So Jack was taking this seriously even if he would be unable to assist his master. Switch's eyes flashed as she looked to Verm, a cruel smile curving her lips. Well, two could play at this game. Lifting her blade high above her head, she slashed in downwards, a faint whisper of wind echoing through the cathedral. A few seconds later there was a click like an ignition switch and a wave of blue and white fire ripped towards Verm. It only had one target, the fallen, and nothing else seemed to burn in its path except the air around them.
