I've had this really weird craving for a Zelda roleplay, as of late; my idea is that the Gerudo, wanting power, start to assault the various temples, weakening the seals and drawing out the actual elementals, trapping them and making them into, more or less, slaves. Taking place about a century after Ocarina of Time, the single Gerudo male (named Dian) is stolen away from her people by a group of swordsmen who had risen up in the crisis, to avert a crisis of the likes that had happened a century prior, with Ganondorf. The newest reincarnation of Link has been orphaned and taken into the same group of swordsmen that Dian has; they become friends, almost like brothers, though Dian resents the treatment Link gets as a natural swordsman.
When Link is told about the impending doom of Hyrule, as the world has suffered far too long without elements, Dian eavesdrops on this, before running from the training grounds, the abandoned Lon Lon Ranch. However, Ganondorf, who has broken free because of the death of the sages (who kept the elements safe), finds the young Dian and drags him to his side.
And, well, that's all I have so far, as a set-up. I'd be more than willing to talk to anyone who might be interested.
Note: I don't do yaoi; females -will- be introduced. The ones I have so far are...
Zelda: Naturally; she's the descendant of the Zelda of a hundred years ago, and travels with a group of traveling swordsman as a priestess, using her powers of light to slowly return the land to its normal self.
Melo: Descendant of Malon, and daughter of the old man who runs the converted Lon Lon Ranch. A baker, she also serves as a sort of older sister figure to Dian and Link.
Rema: When the water sources in Hyrule dry up because of the water elemental's absence, the Zoras find refuge in an underground river, where they live alongside the few Gorons that are left; Rema is the princess of the Zoras.
Aile: When Death Mountain begins to crumble, the people of the village at its foot escape into the mountains. Here they find a temple dedicated to the air, and they are blessed with the ability to move the wind themselves, in the form of the Wind Waker. They begin to evolve from exposre with the air, growing wings and becoming bird-like; the winged people from Wind Waker's descendants. She is the emissary to the beasts of the air temple.
Great Fairy: I've always liked them, so I'm including them! In order to help restore balance to Hyrule, they grant elemental powers to either Link or Dian. >.> And more!
Nao: Dian's mother, and a member of Ganondorf's harem; is ordered on Dian at some point. (Woo, incest.)
Well, those are all the pairings I've even remotely thought out; could also do random pairings, or whatever anyone cares to suggest! I'm all ears.
I'm willing to play any of the above, Dian, Link, or Ganondorf; preferrably not Link, since I'm maintaining the no dialogue rule for him.
