Wizard Dain found most magical humanoids fascinating. To think, that mankind had for so long ignored the creatures so close to itself. He'd struggled over his essay for weeks now, and there was just something it needed before he could make it presentable. Original research. Real observations. An interview even. He spun in his desk chair - chairs like that were made to spin, but for a dignified wizard, of course, only when nobody was watching. His office wasn't large, relatively speaking. The bookcases of thick books lining each wall, the shelves of instruments and tools (Dain was a collector of artifacts) and the large desk covered in papers and ink stains filled most of the room, making the ground space small. He watched the antique clock, ticking away. She was a bit late.

Kristy was an elven warrior in her tribe, she specialized in long bow and sword skills. She looked like a normal elf she had pale creamy white skin and deep blue eyes with long blonde hair. she wore green leather armor vest and skirt, her bow and sword hung from her back along with her quiver .She had ventured to the town where Dain was becuase the elves were being pushed by human and thier greedy farming and mining. she hoped that with the wizards help she could help her people keep there land. She got a few strange looks as she made her way to the office. Once there she knocked once before entering the house.

Even as she knocked the door was already on its way open. Dain had heard her walking and it never failed to impress visitors when he opened the door for them by magic. He sat in the chair facing the wall for a moment, trying to compose himself- you get one chance at an impression, after all. He turned slowly, knocking over one of the candles, with a muttered rune, the candle froze mid fall. "Hellfire!" he cursed. Looking up from the floating candle, he rearranged his face quickly. "Dain Gala, seidmadr and wizard. Pleased to make your acquaintance, miss... Elf?" He scrutinized her, eyes narrowing critically. "Elf seems most likely. Shall I call for refreshments?"

"Yes it does, You can call me kristy since it is your human translation for my name." Kristy said to still composed and not taken back by the magic. She sat down in a chair by his desk and took her bow, sword and quiver off and leaned them agianest the desk. " refreshments would be lovely at this time Mr. Dalin." she siad to him still calm. It's not that she wasn't impressed , it's just her training made her less shocked to things.
