Wizard Dain found most magical humanoids fascinating. To think, that mankind had for so long ignored the creatures so close to itself. He'd struggled over his essay for weeks now, and there was just something it needed before he could make it presentable. Original research. Real observations. An interview even. He spun in his desk chair - chairs like that were made to spin, but for a dignified wizard, of course, only when nobody was watching. His office wasn't large, relatively speaking. The bookcases of thick books lining each wall, the shelves of instruments and tools (Dain was a collector of artifacts) and the large desk covered in papers and ink stains filled most of the room, making the ground space small. He watched the antique clock, ticking away. She was a bit late.
