Uniforms

Recently, I learned that even a wedding dress can be looked at like a uniform. I thought it couldn't be, but after reading more about my idea, I found it is shared by others. I also like stewardess, cheerleader and nurse attire as uniforms.

Have cooled on policewomen and policemen or firefighter uniforms as of late. Heroes and Villains in uniform can go hot or cold depending on what's in theaters or what I've been reading.

What are your thoughts about military uniforms? I've worn them for many years so my opinion is kinda biased since I have first hand experience in those suckers haha.

Uniforms are super hot. Superheroes/heroines, police, etc. All hot.

Stewardess, cheerleader are some of the few left that still have a sexiness about them. Nurse uniforms are now in my country anyway pretty bland.

I do like all the classics though even if at times they are more pornified than genuine real world uniforms.

I think military uniforms depend on the woman wearing them. A cute woman is cute no matter what.

Superhero costumes have become rather PC, used to have a huge crush on Linda Carter as Wonder Woman, not so much on the new chick.

I agree with you about contemporary nurse uniforms. Scrubs is pretty much all I see in real life and TV shows now for them and doctors.

I think they've even put Supergirl in leggings because they film the show in Canada where it's often cold. Film in San Diego, they'd probably have to put her in swimsuits.

I agree with police and military uniforms no longer having the same 'zing' they had before. With bullet-proof vests underneath and utility belts bigger than (The) Batman's, gone are the days of tailored-to-'fit' of the California Highway Patrol of decades past, as they do for the propaganda-intended ones in the IDF. And certainly, it seems are the formless scrubs one sees nowadays are as if they were intended to keep everyone's minds on their job.
I'm, also, in total agreement with Linda Carter's WonderWoman over Gal Gadot's as the former just exudes 'sexy' and the latter is intended less so. And wouldn't it be 'a shame' if they did actually film Supergirl in San Diego? Hm?
If we are including wedding dress as a uniform, and yes, I understand the allure, I'd like to offer up also 'lady pirate' and those of the swashbuckling Errol Flynn.

This pic is from an Aussie soap from the 70's the uniforms are pretty much standard for the time and although realistic are also sexy in my opinion, not shown but they would be wearing skirts rather than pants which is standard for our time. http://revision-of-nurse-uniforms.eu/server/dyk2/tv512.jpg

I had to look up Supergirl and you are right she is in tights now, in the 80's she was barelegged.

Those are nurse uniforms I remember from shows and movies of the same era.

I was just a kid during the 70's but still loved the uniforms, the matrons or head nurse I think they might be called now had these big head pieces similar to the Sally Field in Flying Nun.

Uniforms for Police Women were much nicer too

I'm not into sexualized uniforms at all.
A real uniform can do wonders, but not all of them look good.

Firemen are wonderful but the look does Nothing for me.
