Hi! I'm looking for an RP, and like the title says, I'm kind of interested in two potential directions:
  1. A long-term, conflict-driven story about two people who go against the world and/or their inner demons together.
  2. A short- or long-term wish fulfilment story, probably involving some amount of intimacy.
If we can make something that combines the two, that's great! If not, let's figure out which sounds better and roll with that.
There's definitely a lot of room to fit romance into both, but assuming romance is more than lots and lots of sex, I'd prefer it to develop gradually. That said, feelings for others are very good inner demons!

Ideas for 1:
  • I love the idea of people discovering Dark Magic That Should Really Not Have Been Messed With, Oops, and then having to figure out how to contain it again.
  • Characters struggling with loneliness and finding a way to resolve it.
  • People from different worlds/times meeting is always fun.
  • Addiction is a bit of a morbid fascination for me! For example, a couple struggling as one turns to drink or gaming to deal with his/her problems.
Ideas for 2:
  • College life provides a lot of room for this. Specific scenarios kind of depend on which way we want to take it.
  • People thrown together by chance and having to make the best of it is slower-burning but definitely still fun.
  • Dom/sub isn't a requirement for me, but it can definitely be fun. I tend to be balanced or dominant.
  • I've been curious about startup culture and would be interested in playing something in that direction, probably involving abuse of power.
  • Bonus: it's not a must, but I'd love it if your character badly had to pee sometimes.
I realise these lists are a bit on the short side, I'll extend them as I get inspiration. :) Even better if we can combine a bit from each side!

A bit of miscellaneous info that's probably useful:
  • I'm in my mid twenties and live in Europe.
  • I will have time to post roughly every day, sometimes twice a day. Weekends vary.
  • My posts tend to be 1-3 paragraphs long, though I adapt to the situation and my partner's style.
  • PMs and Discord are both fine; Ranpalan#5825 is the latter.
  • I will not disappear without warning you and would appreciate if you did the same.

Hmm, fantasy worlds are an interesting one. I wonder if something like Diablo would work, but unless fighting is really your thing, I wonder whether it wouldn't get repetitive too fast.

For some reason, slice of life seems to be what works best for me lately, albeit with smut. That said, I think Slice of Aargh-Where-Did-That-Eldritch-Horror-Come-From Life may be fun, too.

Is there a name for RPs with a very strong dom/sub dynamic, where one is essentially in control, but both are enjoying it?
