Hello. I haven't been here a while, haven't had a role play at all in a while. And I haven't made a search thread in a REALLY long while. But hey! Here it is and I thank you kindly for reading. Perhaps I should get a few important details out of the way, then proceed with my ideas?
First off, my life can get very hectic on very short notice. If I must be absent, I promise you'll have every bit as much warning as I do. Which might be none and I'm not happy about it either, sorry. In return for your patience, you have mine.
Secondly, I prefer to RP in PM, discord or email. Discord is also the fastest, most reliable way to chat with me out of character. (I'm told I'm pretty friendly.)
With that out of the way, some of my main interests are:
Those elements just catch my interest, considerably more so than sex or anything else of the sort. I also usually play the dominant role, but if you don't mind playing a dominant female to a submissive male, I'd be delighted to do that as well. If you don't like any of those themes, we might still be able to work out a good story and I might still be into it. If you like them, even better! I hope I can also accommodate your kinks and fantasies along with them, even if they're on the dark or unusual side. Umm. . . with a few exceptions:
Still there? Good! Now I got that basic info out of the way, I have a ton of little mini plots to choose from and hopefully build on with you (maybe more than I can type in one search thread!) and even some pairings if you prefer to just work from those.
Whew! That was a lot of writing! I'm willing to change those ideas up, mix and match them, etc. I'm pretty flexible. Now on to pairings, in case you prefer to start there and come up with something new:
I'll add more when I think of it. If you'd like to get in touch with me, feel free to send me a PM! I can't wait to RP with you.

Premise:
A despotic civilization discovered the secret to faster-than-light travel, leaving them free to seek out new life and new civilizations -- then invade. To cull the numbers of the conquered races and prevent rebellion, prisoners are taken from their own worlds and brought to a world full of massive arenas. Beneath the arenas are inescapable subterranean prisons, where the inmates are housed two to a tiny cell at random, not even to be segregated by sex. The prisoners would be given the bare minimum of food, water and bandages to stay alive, and would only be allowed out of their cells to fight in the arena. They'd be divided into teams, given crude melee weapons and made to fight until there was only one team left. If a teammate were to die, then he or she would not be replaced for the next fight. And prisoners no matter how wounded would be forced to fight again in the next match. But a lucky few would be granted their freedom.
Idea 1: (Genders can be in both of these ideas)
Both of them were the only ones remaining on their respective teams, and each would be given freedom just for triumphing over the other. Maybe she survived so long by being such a competent fighter, or maybe she was good at getting others to protect her. In either case, he was a much better fighter and could disarm her swiftly and easily. But to everyone's astonishment, he refused to land that finishing blow to her neck. He was still the clear winner, and to deny him his freedom would be to displease the crowd. She was of no further use in the arena, but as the loser, could not be given her own freedom. Nothing could be done except to make her his slave.
Idea 2:
It seemed improbable for two people from the same planet, who speak the same language, to be assigned the same cell, but there they were. He relied on her to dress his wounds and nurse him back to some semblance of strength between fights. She depended on him to protect her from the violence. And so they depended on each other until by some miracle, they both survived and gained their freedom. She assumed they'd go their separate ways and find their own respective places in the galaxy. He had other ideas he'd follow through with, even if it meant going from being her protector to being her new captor.

Premise:
It's the end of the world. At least that's what he'd tell everyone who would listen. Not that anyone believed him. He spent all his time and money building a bomb shelter, hoping others would chip in and help in some way. Instead, he got mocked. As a consequence, he could only build one big enough for two. Yet no second person would volunteer to be saved. But he wasn't going to die alone.
Idea 1:
She refused to openly ridicule him. Although she did not believe him, she heard him out. For her kindness, her reward would be room in the bunker and her share of the rations and bottled water. Whether she wanted it or not.
Idea 2:
She hadn't met him. She hadn't heard of him, even by reputation. She could only wonder why that maniac was keeping her tied up, telling her it was to save her.

Premise: (Genders can be swapped)
It was the day after the anniversary of her best friend's untimely death. She woke up in her bathroom, covered in blood that wasn't her own, and she had no memory of the previous day. To make it worse, the same thing happened exactly seven days later. Each week there was another homicide on the news, with no suspect. She only had one person she could turn to, the fiance of her deceased best friend. She told him what happened, told him she wanted to be tied down before her blackout, and only untied the next day. He obliged. She struggled, cursed and threatened him in a manner most unlike her, yet the next day when she was untied, she had no memory -- only pain from 24 hours of being restrained. It was the same the next week, and the next week. But one day, while she was tied down and apparently not herself, she confessed in detail to having murdered his betrothed. The next day when she woke up, she had no memory of the confession, no idea why it was so completely dark, why she felt like she had even less wiggle room than the previous times or why she felt so much more sore than usual. And most unusual, she couldn't figure out why even though her faculties are back, he still doesn't seem willing to untie her as usual.

Premise:
They never really got past hand holding, cuddling and a little kissing, even though they'd been dating for a long time and were really into each other. Neither knew how long it would last. They both knew the other was hiding something, and the distance threatened their relationship.
Her secret was that she put on a costume and fought crime under a secret identity. He had a costume and a secret identity too, but he was the elusive criminal she could never quite catch. And for some reason, they never seemed to recognize each other. But then the unthinkable happened -- he captured her.
Idea 1: (Willing to reverse genders and play the submissive for either of these as well)
She couldn't seem to break out of her restraints as easily as usual. Nor was she resilient to the cold draft blowing through the secret lair, when her powers usually made her temperature proof. Somehow, he rendered her vulnerable and human. To her horror, she was at her enemy's mercy. Of all the worst things he could do, of all the tortures, the worst would be to unmask her and expose her identity to the world. He could even disrobe her entirely and reveal more than that. But what would he do when he finds out the woman under the mask was the woman he loved?Idea 2:
In the course of their latest confrontation, she felt something stinging her neck. A very harsh sting indeed. Over time, she found it harder and harder to use her powers. Soon, her nemesis sent out a publication that he had poisoned the heroine and that if she didn't get an antidote within 30 days, she'd die. His demands were outrageous. But the villain wasn't stupid. He had watched his girlfriend gradually get sicker and weaker, and he soon realized the truth. It was nice being with her more often, nicer still to be able to take care of her and grow closer to her than before. But with her getting sicker and the heroine not responding to the villain's demands, he had to put two and two together. He had his foil's identity, she had nowhere to hide, and to make things even better, only he could save her life and restore her powers.

Premise:
One of the last active, prominent serial killers was terrorizing a community, capturing young women of a certain type and leaving disturbing photographs of the victims scattered in random places. And so another woman disappears to be tormented and killed.
Idea 1: (I've played the killer a lot and wouldn't mind. However, I'd love to play the male victim to a female serial killer, and could even play a female victim to a female serial killer for this)
But after she dies, she wakes up and starts regenerating before his astonished eyes. He could do little more than try to keep her restrained, though if she dislocated a joint wriggling out, it would only hurt for a short time compared to a normal person. Unable to kill her and afraid to let her go, he had to get creative to keep her in check. She had no idea before that she ever had those regenerative properties and didn't know the limits of her immortality. All she knew was that she could still feel pain, and that he wasn't afraid to inflict some if she got out of line.
Idea 2:
He's the type to savor the torment part. He loved seeing if his victims were the type to beg, bargain or threaten. Or if they'd go through all the phases of grief before death. But she is a shrewd one. She tries to get through to him as a human being, get him to empathize with her and make him lose his desire to hurt her or humiliate her. No begging, bargaining or threats. His guard is let down. And as soon as his guard is down, he gets knocked out. Upon waking, he'd expect to see police. Instead, all he sees is his intended victim, intent on making him suffer as he had made her suffer.
(It could go back and forth like that a lot, and start with either the man or the woman as the killer before the tables get turned, it can be quite chaotic.)

(I've always been a sucker for damsel in distress scenarios, so I'm kinda craving this one.)
Premise:
It's as cliche as it gets. An evil sorcerer is bent on taking over the kingdom, perhaps the world. The princess has some hidden power locked away inside her that's the key to the sorcerer's evil plans. The prophesied hero is the only one who can rescue her after she's captured. But each time the hero storms the castle, scouring the deepest dungeons and highest towers to rescue her, she's either immediately recaptured or preemptively moved to another hideout. And each time a rescue attempt is thwarted, her conditions get more unbearable. Until. . .
Idea 1.
The princess is returned to her kingdom! But the hero isn't a happily ever after type of guy. His drunken debauchery and his obvious fame-seeking make the princess grow disenchanted with the whole prophecy. And something the supposedly evil sorcerer said about the current monarchy was just starting to make sense. Sure, maybe he was a rat bastard who kept her prisoner, but was he really so bad? So she lets herself be recaptured this time, to find a warmer, more hospitable confinement.
Idea 2.
The hero is brave. The hero is noble. Yet the hero failed. He's taken alive, disarmed and thrown in the dungeon, set to be executed at dawn, or perhaps thrown in the torture chamber to be killed slowly. Either way, the princess knows the only way she can save the hero is to just give in. This could mean letting the sorcerer unlock her hidden power and use it to take over her kingdom just for a start, but it could go as far as her grudgingly agreeing to all his sick, perverted desires on top of that. After all, if the hero dies, who can save the kingdom?
Idea 3.
The evil sorcerer is defeated. That would mean the princess is free to return to her kingdom with the hero, greet the adoring public and live happily ever after, right? Well, not so fast. The hero never cared about saving the princess or her kingdom, or even the world. Defeating the villain was due to a personal vendetta, not a heroic journey. And just letting a captive princess go wouldn't make sense, not without being paid a ransom proportional to her worth.
