Ever since the Galactic Leyline Gene Starwind and his former crew had disbanded and Jim Hawking growing up and going out on his own where now Gene Starwind had all the peace and quiet he wished for but has yet to find the idea life he had been looking for. Having lost Melfina and Twilight Suzuka and Aisha Clan Clan going back to their old lives Gene Starwind was left only with the XGPA102 and the annoying AI computer Giliuem. Sitting in the cockpit Gene Starwind was eating a cup of ramen noodles while as he was on a shipping route looking out of the front screens showing the wide open space surrounding them as the XGPA102 before a ring started beeping as it came from the clock up on above the front screen as the red light flashed as usual when Giliuem found something.
Giliuem - "Gene I'm sensing a distress beacon 50kilo's from our location. Shall I bring it up on screen?"
Gene Starwind - "Go right ahead Giliuem." As always Gene had a soft spot from whenever he found someone lost out in space knowing it wasn't something fun to go through from his own experience which lead him mostly vulnerable when it came to rescueing the stranded survivor. As Giliuem brought up the image of a cryo tube floating out in space Gene examined the object and could see someone was obviously in it. "Giliuem go right ahead and bring us within 0kilo's of the cryo tube so we can board the lost spacer."
Giliuem - "Certainly Gene." Giliuem somehow being able to find and control the entire XGPA102 without Melfina's help started navigating the ship towards the distress beacon of the cryo tube.
