Periods of Slowness

I've connected site slowness with PM's being sent or received twice. It appears to happen whenever someone is sending a PM when site is running slow for them. Could this be caused by clicking on send multiple times or the site thinking you clicked send twice?

Are you getting duplicated sent messages?

How big are the conversations where this is happening?

I've sent and received duplicate messages in different size conversations. Each time I've sent duplicates, it's when the page takes time to reload or move on after send attempt was made.

Think it would be better to note the exact times this occurred, as I do have this sort of thing traced and can look it up that way.
