Name: Xavier Rollins
Age: 54
Once upon a time Xavier had been a big man in town, respected businessman, entrepreneur, even a bit of a philanthropist. He had also been a bit of a playboy, enjoying younger women whom he could easily impress with his money and good looks. He had enjoyed the good life until one of the his girls got knocked up and decided she wanted to have the kid. She was a hot little school teacher, new in town and cute enough to actually make Xavier think he should give up his freewheeling lifestyle and settle down. Huge mistake. Tied down to just one woman for the first time in his life he chafed at the constraints, his wandering eye soon destroying what had seemed like wedded bliss. The divorce cost him a lot, though not everything. He managed to keep his compound out of town, his wife finding his hobbies out there disturbing. Xavier was building a bunker for the end times as his increasingly paranoid mind began to think of it. He became obsessed with weapons of all kinds, knives, handgun, long guns, assault rifles, shot guns, even machine guns when he could get them.
The divorce also cost him his son, or that was the way he had seen it. His volatility was enough to convince the court he should only be granted visitation under supervised conditions. It was perhaps the last straw for a man that was already grasping for his hold on some connection to polite society. He spent more and more time at his remote compound. Coming to town only for supplies and to see his son. He became a survivalist and spent a lot of time on dark parts of the internet. He learned the vocabulary and the philosophy of the incels, militias, and other disgruntled portions of society.
Existing Relationships:
Nick Rollins - Loves his son in his own way but hates the way he has been raised by the boy's mother. If only he had a strong male role model (like himself) he would have unlimited potential.
Holly Rollins - On the surface, Xavier hates her, any romance that was once between them is gone forever. Deeper down that might be difficult to say, he had loved her, or as close to love as he was likely to become. Since there only interactions now are in a courtroom, it is easy to keep up the hate. In a more intimate setting, all bets may be off.
Crystal Sommers (C.J.) - C.J. had been great friends with Xavier's ex-wife and mother to Nick. She clearly chose sides with the divorce, her testimony helping to limit Xavier's access to his son. Which included Xavier's rather clumsy attempt at initiating at drawing C.J. into a three way sexual relationship which went no where. He suspects she and his wife had ended up lovers but that could easily be his delusions as likely as reality. To put it mildly, he hates her with a long burning passion.
Samantha (Sam) Wagner - Has only heard Nick speak of 'him' as if he is somewhat of a troublemaker, which of course endears the 'boy' to Xavier. Xavier assumes Sam is a boy and perhaps a positive influence on the otherwise emasculated upbringing.
