Stewart gave a long groan as he walked down the street, rain pouring down harder and harder by the second as he cursed the driver which had hit his car in the parking lot, cursed his insurance for not getting him a rental while it was in the shop, and body shop which had waited for a few weeks before finally taking his car in to get repaired. Oh and he cursed that he had decided to take the bus today rather than attempt to get a co-worker to give him a ride... even though it would not have helped as he needed to stay late to finish a project. Okay today just sucked and sucked hard but as the rain came down he at least thanked the fact that he remembered an umbrella and his jacket. Sure the zip up hoodie did clash with the nice work shirt, tie, slacks, and nice shoes he had to wear for his office job but hey practical was practical. He was shivering slightly, the wind feeling like it was biting to the bone, with him standing as close to the buildings as he was staying away from the street so when the cars raced past they didn't immediately splash him and make all his efforts to stay dry rather mute.
It was when he founded a corner and was heading into residential that he ended up noticing her. The girl was looking around, seeming scared and confused. In all honesty everything about her didn't make any sense to him as well the girl had worn a white dress which was definitely not meant for rainy days as the fabric was quickly becoming transparent and the girl had nothing to cover her and keep her dry. Was she one of his neighbors? He doubted it but really he couldn't be sure of everyone who lived in his condo complex... Walking a bit closer she finally seemed to realize she wasn't alone on this street but he felt his eyes widen when he saw the girl looking around. How could she not see him? After all Stewart wasn't a small guy, standing at 6'4" he had a somewhat average build but thanks to his height he knew it made him look kinda big. Plus his attire wasn't exactly blending in with blue slacks, black shoes, and a gray hoodie around nothing of similar colors... He knew it was weird but instinct told him there was something more wrong with the girl than just being lost... was she on something?
He stopped a short distance away and called out again saying, "Hey, are you alright?" The girl almost seemed to jump he thought, after all she now seemed to be able to pinpoint where he was looking almost directly at him, "Can you talk?" he asked tentatively as he moved a bit closer. "Look you look like you're in trouble and quite frankly the rain seems to be getting worse..." he thought a moment but was mostly acting on instinct saying this was the right decision as he said, "How about you come with me? I can take you somewhere warm and we can get out of the rain and we can get you some help alright?"
