If he dies, the truth dies with him…

In the demon-infested hellscape, humanity fights a battle for survival. Mykel fights on the front lines of this conflict, serving the goddess of love and war, Afodisia.

After one such battle, an interaction with a survivor reopens old wounds and tests Mykel’s faith. Guilt over the daughter he left behind resurfaces, just as a larger threat looms on the horizon.

]His only hope lies in a woman who sacrificed her past and name to serve as Afodisia’s Oracle. With nothing left to lose, she looks to the future for meaning. Mykel seeks to reconnect with his faith through her, but with an impossible battle before them, will it matter? And if he dies, will his daughter know who he was?

How far would you go to save a soul sacrificed for you?

In a world scourged by bloodthirsty demons, Paladin Aurianna stands in defense of humanity. She’s proud to serve her goddess, but it's guilt that drives her towards greatness, desperate to prove the loss of her fellow paladin's humanity wasn't in vain.

Matthias willingly sacrificed himself to protect the woman he loves, losing his soul to a demon who now inhabits his body and slaughters his former allies. The distinction between Matthias and his demon will be lost once the demon achieves his ultimate goal: possessing and corrupting Aurianna.

When their blades cross on the battlefield and Aurianna comes face to face with the price Matthias paid for her mistake, she sees no path to redemption for him. But when the tables turn and she faces the same torture that broke Matthias, their fates are bound together.

Matthias must overcome the demon that torments him from within to save Aurianna from succumbing to his fate. But if she isn’t strong enough to resist the darkness, both are doomed to serve Hell.

Clara would sacrifice her life to protect her hometown, but the Godslayer desires something else entirely.

Aurianna and her acolyte Clara arrive safely in Monsford, but that safety is fleeting. The Host of Torment is but days away from sacking the town, enslaving or killing everyone there.

Monsford’s only hope lines in the dragon who rules these lands, Verrier, also known as the Godslayer. It falls to Clara to make the trek up Mount Fearfire to beseech his aid, and, if necessary, offer herself up as tribute to ensure his assistance.

After a daring rescue frees Matthias from not only the Lady of Torment’s clutches, but from his own demonic soul, Aurianna remains in Monsford to bolster their defenses. Injured, and without his demon to call upon, Matthias must make use of the primal tongue to aid Aurianna in defending Monsford against the massive force. But each spell he casts draws the attention and ire of the terrible dread dragon, Yarost’cherev.

Protecting the town of Monsford tests every last bit of faith and strength that Aurianna and Matthias possess. But none of that will matter, if Clara can’t convince Verrier to lend his strength to the coming battle.

The Godslayer has given her a gift, but she only sees a curse.

Clara risked her life and freedom to protect her home town, however, instead of congratulations, she is met with resentment and jealousy. Her fellow paladin questions her loyalty; her childhood friends feel abandoned.

Her attempts to reconcile fall flat, but when a remaining group of stray demons attack her friends, Clara rushes into the rescue. Her rage bubbles to the surface, transforming her into something else entirely. A being with talons, and scales, and large, leathery wings.

No longer human nor fully a dragon, Clara is left bewildered by the changes and isolated from her loved ones. If she can learn to control the rage within her, she can reclaim her human form, and return home. Otherwise, she must abandon her humanity, and embrace her inner dragon.

To overcome his demon, Matthias must embrace him.

After standing in defense of Monsford against the host of Torment, Matthias and Aurianna begin a new life together. The promise of marriage and family gives Matthias something new to live for, a reason to resist the demon within his soul.

But when the wedding is attacked by an old foe, Matthias loses control, and the demon takes over. In one desperate attempt to protect his wife and unborn child, Matthias flees, and surrenders himself to the Order of Afodisia. The Order can bind the demon within him, but first he must face trial for a decade of atrocities committed as a demon.

Only death can pay for his crimes, but it need not be his death that pays the price. If he can strike down Baath-Me’el, he can earn absolution. But if he fails, Aurianna will be forced to raise their child alone.
