Issue Delays with Conversations

Over the past few days in particular I've noticed (and so has at least one of my partners) that there is a delay - sometimes a large one - between receiving a notification for a new message and receiving the actual message.

Is it just me experiencing this, or have others noticed this also?

Is that something that that can be looked into? Or should the planned upgrade sort that out?

Err, can you describe what happens in more exact detail?

If you in a situation where a message won't show until you post, that is a known issue that I've been harping on the Xenforo devs for some time now. I can 'fix' it temporarily by rebuilding the conversation cache, but that takes nearly an hour so I don't do it often.

Ah...yeah, that's it.

Essentially - notifications (both in-site and email) told me of a new private message arrived in my Inbox, but it never appeared in the conversation thread.

Then, following your tip, I posted something, and the "missing" message suddenly appeared in order.

So I guess I got caught by that known issue.
