I'm not much into one-liners, but I understand that sometimes those just happen. As for myself I try to match my partners writing as often as possible.
I play tops, bottoms, and switches. However sometimes I have a craving for one or the other, but I don't always like determining what a character is before the writing begins. I've had a top turn out to be a bottom, or a switch and a bottom turn out to be a top, or a switch.
I only roleplay in third person, past tense.
I only play Canon x Canon or OC x OC.
I do love a story driven roleplay, but I also quite enjoy smut. So it all depends on the plot, although a slow burn before the smut can be satisfying too.

I'm currently wishing to roleplay as a bottom Batman if he can find a Joker. Here's a few ideas I had.
1. Omegaverse where Batman is an omega. No one knows this except Alfred. Now in this Omegaverse the omega's are believed to have gone extinct. So all the Alpha's have gone mad. What no one knows, except for a select few Alpha's like The Joker is that Gotham and other cities have been killing omega's or those that have survived whatever they're doing to them have been rendered infertile for the past one-hundred years. Only an Alpha and an Omega can create Omega's, but so can an Alpha and a Beta but its extremely rare. The Wayne's knew that their son might be an Omega so they bought up a few decades worth of pheromone blockers and heat blockers. After all Martha herself was an Omega (or maybe it was Thomas Wayne)... they were killed because one was a known Omega.
So Batman is trying to save everyone, save Gotham, especially from The Joker. As yet Batman has no idea about the culling of any Omega's. Or that Gotham's politicians and policemen and the like are so corrupt that they'd kill any Omega. Even rarely do Alpha's get jobs unless they're wealthy in their own right or get hired by other Alpha's... because most Beta's for whatever reason want Alpha's and Omega's to cease existing.
2. Lego Batman. Wherein Batman upsets his arch-nemesis to the point The Joker 'breaks up' with his nemesis. The Joker stops wreaking havoc and through whatever means decides to either make Batman jealous or to move on. He decides to court Bruce Wayne and Batman gets jealous of himself.
3. Perhaps there's a soul mark that Batman and Joker share. Batman is hiding it and in denial. Somehow Joker finds out. Batman continues to be in denial, but The Joker isn't going to let him get away with that. But it's kind of difficult to find him when he's not in his bat-suit.
4. Magical AU where (inspiration taken from Ranma 1/2) whenever Batman gets splashed with cold water he turns into a woman physically.
5. And then there's surely some darker scenarios, but I can't think of any at the moment.
