People take things for granted. Things are like their safety nets. Without them, the world would probably be in chaos, because how can we live without money, clothes, and computers or anything that would be considered an accessory. Theyâ??re all just there to cover how empty we feel if we donâ??t have a loved one. Thatâ??s how single people manage in society. Well who gives two cents about that?
But what happens when everything a person has is gone. When you become homeless, what happen is your true self truly emerges. Are you the type that will do anything to survive or just sit by and watch as â??timeâ? flashes before your eyes. Well thatâ??s what Danteâ??s doing.
It had been a few months since Dante lost it all, his home, his bank accounts, his job, his girl friend. He got kicked out of his house by the landlord; Dante spent the first few days out on the streets. But within a few days, he found an abandon warehouse, and found shelter there.
Heâ??s been lying on the living room floor ever since that day. He hasnâ??t taken a shower, or brushes his teeth in over a month. Well when it rains, he goes out and let mother nature cleans his sins away. Heâ??s weak, heâ??s fragile. He can barely stand. He hasnâ??t eaten in weeks; Heâ??s hallucinating most of the time. He was lucky that a cop came by once every few days in the beginning, and he gave him a sandwich every now and then. But that suddenly stopped,.
Dante could be like every other homeless, but he was too proud to go out in the streets and ask people for money, or food. Heâ??s still wearing the same clothes as when his girlfriend dumped him.
