A pair of blue eyes opened and looked up to the ceiling, a light groan escaping the boys mouth and his back arched. His hands grasping the sheets for a moment before he flopped back down and sighed. Closing his eyes once more, he rolled over and onto the edge of his bed, sitting up as his hands covered his eyes and rubbed them with the palm of his hands.

Austin was his name, standing at a tall 6'0'', his shoulders broad with a toned chest and abs. His hair buzzed short a dark chocolate brown. His eyes a deep ocean blue as most liked to describe it. He wasn't very athletic in his school, but he played soccer and sports with his friends to keep in shape without being forced to do so in a class. He was young at the age of eighteen though there was something about him that not a lot of people knew. He wasn't too hot for females, and there was only one that was good enough for him. His best friend, a boy as well.

Who made his heart thump like a drum in his chest, butterflies in his stomach. His voice wasn't fully deep but it wasn't high pitched either. So some could question but not be sure. Standing up from his bed he stretched his arms above his head as he stood in his black boxers and looked over to the mirror. Groaning he pushed his back and popped it before he stepped out of his room as it was now summer vacation and he had a few things he needed to get done. Especially with telling his best friend of how he felt, moving to the kitchen he grabbed the phone as it was now ten in the morning and dialed in his friends number. He had better be up.

Ring ... Ring ... Ring

What was that annoying sound interrupting his dreams? Golden brows knotted together at the sound that rang through his ears. He grumbled to himself and he nuzzled into the pillow that was beneath his pink-dyed hair. Slowly, a silvery green eye popped open, glaring at the circling phone on the table, the cell phoneâ??s vibrating causing it to turn. He clenched his hands into fists and he slowly lifted his hand, lifting it and having the limb fall onto the phone. Yawning, he rolled onto his back, his sheets wrapped around his slender hips. Unlike his friend, Uriel barely made it to five foot five. He was always short. Always had been, always will be. He was eighteen by now, and was done growing. He had been this tall since he was a Freshman, so he would not be growing more anytime soon. He did not care though. Sure, he got made fun of by his friends since they were all taller than him, for the most part, and teased him about the girls all being taller or equal to him. He could care less. He was far above caring about his height. He had dealt with the fact he was short when he was younger, and embraced it now. Though, he has a very strong personality, so that helps.

Staring through blurry eyes at the caller i.d, he sighed. Austin. Why did he always have to be his damn wake up call? It was summer vacation, why was he up so early? Groaning, he flipped the phone open, pulling it to his ear with a few silent mumbled curses, â??Why are you waking me up?â? he mumbled into the phone, yawning a moment later. Ugh. He wanted to sleep, not deal with his friend. Sure, they have known each other since they were about ten or ... something, but he never got used to being woken up by him. He thought that he would know by now to not annoy him when he was sleeping. He typically stayed in until noon, and he liked it that way. Well, whatever, not like he would change the brunette any time soon.

Hearing the few mumbled curses, he couldn't help but chuckle before he shrugged as if he could see him. "Why the hell are you sleeping in? Sure it's summer vacation, but you should be out having fun. Get your ass out of bed." He said and nodded as he pulled down a bowl and filled it with some cereal and milk. "I actually need to speak to you. And I'd rather not do it over the phone." He said and took a bite, the sound of the cereal crunching in his mouth sending into the phone and he sighed a bit. "I'll let you sleep til noon then. Meet up a bit later?" He asked and leaned against the counter, the corner pressing against his lower back and he breathed in softly.

"Lazy." He chuckled before pulling the phone from his head and letting it drop onto the receiver before he smiled and finished up his bowl. Though now he wasn't sure how he was going to tell him, he couldn't just come straight out and tell his best friend that he was... in love with him. He rubbed the back of his neck and groaned out as his head tilted back slowly and his lids closed over his eyes as he breathed in.

Today was going to be interesting.

Uriel growled beneath his breath. Why must he be lectured by the Jolly Green Giant? He was not in the mood. He loved his friend dearly, but he did not want to be woken up by him. He knew that he hated to be woken up. He was not a happy person right now. Phones were not something he liked to be the reason he was awake. His mother typically dropped water over his head. Well, it was just the two of them. She had gotten used to finding ways to wake up her pink-haired child. Currently, pink-haired child. If she had not given birth to him, she probably would not know what color his hair truly was. He has been dying it since he was in middle school. Not obsessively to the point that his hair was brittle and would snap at the littlest flick, never. He took great care of his hair. It went to the middle of his ears but was shaved at the back to the longer strands, the shaved bits were actually blonde. He had the opposite before this hair choice, but he loved his hair. He conditioned it and used only the best shampoo. He had an odd sense of style, but it always seemed to work.

And, back to the Giant. â??Shove it.â? He hissed into the phone half heartedly, rolling his eyes. â??Go to hell you bastard. If you need to meet, pick my lazy ass up. After noon ... Jerk.â? With that, he literally just threw the phone at the wall, hearing the battery pop out and he flipped off the area that it collided with. Yawning, he turned onto his other side, he nuzzled into the pillows, pulling the sheets up and to his neck, he yawned. His eyes closed and he grumbled softly. Stupid Austin. He was a great friend, yeah, but he was going to have to die for waking him up so damn early. It was summer vacation. He went to bed at four in the morning, and would wake up at noon. That was how it worked. Simple. As. That. No interruptions! He just wanted to sleep until he woke up naturally, he doubted that would happen. He would probably be pounced and attacked by the brunette. That had happened before. Oh, whatever, he would deal with that when he had to wake up again.

He chuckled just before Uriel growled and he finished up his cereal before tossing his bowl into the sink. Rinsing it and placing it into the dishwasher. Though a few hours passed and it was now past noon and turning close to two now and he breathed in lightly. Pulling on a loose fitting white tee and a pair of blue jeans and black shoes. Running his fingers along his brown hair he stepped out of his house and started up his white f-250 truck, listening to it revving to life and his fingers ran along the wheel. Though he turned and and pressed on the gas as he pulled out of the driveway and began to drive down the road slowly towards Uriels house. He knew he probably pissed him off, but he didn't care. He had to break it to him some how and damnit to hell, it wasn't going to be over the phone.

Arriving at his house he parked and stepped out of his truck and walked up teh driveway and knocked on teh front door with his hands pushed into his front pant pockets. "Come on.." He muttered before sighing as he unlocked the front door and stepped in, shutting it behind him. He stepped forward and moved up the stairs before he walked up to Uriels room and he knocked on it before opening it up. "Come on, man."

The man remained in his bed well until one in the afternoon, happily sleeping away. It had been at one oâ??clock that he actually started to wake up, remembering that his friend had something to tell him. Ugh. Uriel did not care about it. Okay, he did. He wanted to be there for his friend since that was what good friends do, but he just did not want to be woken up at only ten oâ??clock in the morning to find out that there was something he wanted to say. Save it for when he knew his friend was up. That was all he was saying. Though, he was curious about what he had to tell him. Maybe he as dying or something. That would definitely suck hardcore. He liked his friend and did not want to lose him. Knocked some chick up? Yeah, doubtful and up there with the dying thing. His friend was not dying nor the father of some bastard offspring. He really had no idea. He would just wait to see what the deal was and then worry about how to react then. So, instead of trying to think about what it was, he just woke up and went about his daily routine. Had breakfast, showered, brushed his teeth, and just as he was spitting into the sink, he heard the other coming up the stairs. He was late.

Straightening away from the sink, the towel-clad male turned and headed out of the bathroom, seeing the other peeking into his room. He sighed softly, his arms folding over his damp, exposed torso while he looked up at the man that was there. â??Youâ??re late.â? He stated, his silvery green eyes peered up at the other while he watched him in his room. He really was just messing with his friend. He never cared whether or not he was late. Besides, typically, he was the one who was always late. Never by ours, but he was ate by a few minutes since he always underestimated the time it took to get to one place or another. He tried to be on time, really he did, but things just never worked out that way for him. Awe well. His friends were used to that by now, and typically told him to be to places a good ten minutes before he actually should be there. Ah, the accommodations his friends made for him. â??So, what do you want?â?

Austin turned at the voice of Uriel and he swallowed to see that small form in just a towel, water droplets upon his chest and then he cocked his brow. "I'm late. And that's a problem?" He asked with a chuckled and sighed before he moved into Uriels room and sat down onto the edge of his bed and glanced around. "I don't know. Okay.. I do." He muttered and scratched the top of his head before moving his hand down to rub the back of his neck and he looked to Uriel. "I don't know. I.. I've been needing to tell you something for quite a long time now. And I've held it in long enough. If I don't tell you, It'll kill me. But if I do tell you.. hell you might kill me. Or.." He trailed off, afraid of just telling him that it would ruin their friendship and he nibbled on the inside of his bottom lip and his blue eyes closed.

"You may want to sit down." He re-opened his eyes and looked up to Uriel and nodded his head. Though just seeing him in just a towel was hard enough on him for what he was about to tell him, though he could feel his pants tightening and he sighed as his legs moved a bit to atleast try and hide the fact of what he was thinking.

"We've been friends for how many years now? I can't even count.." He said and looked over to the wall and slowly back over to him. "Okay here it is in a nutshell. I like you." He said with a nod and closed his eyes, "Uriel..I like you more than just my best friend. I'd love to take it to a next level but you're straight and I'm.. well.." He shrugged his shoulder and shook his head. "there.. there it is. I needed to get that out. I'm sorry, I hope this doesn't ruin our friendship. If so, I'll leave right now. You won't have to see or deal with me again. I understand." He said, his thumbs were twiddling before he stood up, his hand reaching out to the doorknob on Uriels door and he opened it slightly, waiting for his answer to see if he should leave or not.

The pink haired male rolled his eyes to his friend before walking into the room after the taller male. He listened to his babbling and lost interest for the moment. He was vaguely listening to his rantings about being killed and all that other thing. So it was something that he had to tell him and he may or may not kill him for it. Well, that narrowed it down. Not really, but that is why he was being sarcastic. Uriel was standing at his dressers, pulling open the drawers to try and see what he should put on. He was listening. For the moment, he was giving the man all the attention he figured he would need. Whatever his rambling was about, he just lost interest already. He poked at a few shirts and soon heard him suggest that he sit down. Sit? Maybe he was dying. No. Then he would not kill him â?? okay, he would, but that is beside the point. This definitely was not a â??Iâ??m dyingâ? conversation.

Sighing heavily, he straightened, moving his hand to the top of the dresser and leaning all his weight against the wood surface while he turned and gave his attention to the other. He liked him? That was it? The shorter male sighed once more. That was what forced him awake at ten in the morning? Not cool. He rolled his eyes before he watched him leave to head toward the door. â??I knew that already. Tell me something new.â? He stated nonchalantly, turning back to the dresser. How could he not know? Austin was not really the least conspicuous, even now. Sure, he knew his friend was gay, but just seeing some shirtless man really did not make oneâ??s pants tighten. Uriel did not do that whenever he saw a half naked woman. Then again, he was not like most men out there. He was pretty much almost asexual. He did not hate sex, but he did not freak out when he did not get it or if there was a pretty face. He turned to look at the back of the manâ??s head. â??You woke me up, so youâ??re buying me breakfast.â? He stated, turning and pulling on his tee shirt and then tugging on some jeans. He strung a belt through the loops and began to walk past the taller man. â??I will leave you.â? He added before beginning to make his way jogging down the stairs.

It was good to see that he didn't freak out, but he already knew? But the fact that he didn't seem to care about Austins feelings at all made him hurt a bit inside and he glanced to the side. Watching Uriel walk past him and out the room he sighed and followed behind him. "Here.." He said, shoving his hand into his pocket and pulling out a twenty dollar bill. "There's your breakfast." He almost seemed to sneer and pushed the scrunched up bill into Uriels hand and he pushed past the smaller man, leaving the house as he pulled his keys from his pocket and unlocked the door. Why did he even worry about telling him, if he already knew and didn't even care? He mumbled under his breath as the door to the truck was opened and he climbed up and into the truck.

And what the hell did he mean by, 'I will leave you?' Did he mean that he really didn't care, he wasn't going to be his friend anymore? He was going to leave him? He shook his head and looked up to the house, there was a saying. 'Grown men don't cry.' That was a lie, he felt a few tears appear in the corner of his eyes and he looked up, buckling himself in as his truck revved to life and he shifted the gear into reverse. It may have ruined their friendship, as Austin seemed to be taking it to heart and he turned as he began to back out of the driveway and onto the main road slowly.

The man stopped dead in his tracks, feeling the money shoved into his hands and he watched the other leave. He watched the door for a while before groaning. Didnâ??t his friend know him by now? Uriel avoided. . . Everything. Anything that he did not know what to do with and that was his issue at the moment. He did not know what to do. He knew his friend liked him in more than a friendly manner, but he could not do anything to state it. He did not really like him in that kind of way. He was fairly positive he did not, though he had not really thought much on it. Aside from the random dream brought on by constantly thinking about what it would be like if he were to try and be more than a friend with Austin, but those were just late-night fantasies that his mind brought on to torture him. That was all. He did not like him as more than a friend . . . Yet his heart broke when he heard the car start up.

Shit.

Groaning and shoving the money into his back pocket, the man ran out of the house, not caring about his shoes or anything right now. He closed the door, barely, behind him and he ran to the street where the other was already beginning to drive off. He chased after him before literally leaping into the back of his truck, landing quite gracefully, until he fell forward on not catching himself with the motions of the truck. He sighed heavily, pushing his form up a bit and he reached over, opening up the window at the back of the truck before he moved and wiggled his slender form into the cab of the truck, falling so his back was on the seat and his bare feet still poked out of the window. He stared up at the ceiling before turning his gaze to the other. â??Hereâ??s the deal . . .â? he began, trying to catch his breath before he pulled in one deep lung-full and let it out, eyes closing once more. â??You said it yourself, I donâ??t go for guys, but if itâ??s between losing you completely and trying this ... dating thing ... Iâ??ll ... try.â? He admitted, opening a single eye to look over at the man in the driverâ??s seat, hoping that he said the right thing. He really did have the tendency to stick his foot in his mouth.

Austin started driving off though not hearing Uriel jumping into the bed over the rumbling of the truck. But he glanced over and gasped a bit, slamming on the breaks as he saw Uriel climbing through the window. "What the hell are you doing?" He asked and glared over to Uriel as he slowed to a stop in the middle of the neighborhood street and his eyes closed as he heard him. He shook his head slowly, "No, that's like forcing you to date me. Friends don't do that. I'm sorry." He parked the truck and sighed a bit as he leaned forward and his forehead pressed against the steering wheel. "You won't lose me as a friend. I'm just hurt, because of how much you really don't give a shit. I told you my feelings and this is what I get? 'Tell me something I don't know.'" He sighed.

"And what the hell is the 'I'll leave you?" He asked and shook his head, "If you were meaning that by leaving me as a friend because of how I feel. Then by god, go ahead. I don't need this stress." He mumbled and felt his eyes almost watering up again and he sighed through his teeth, his face cringing before shaking his head slowly.

â??Thatâ??s what you thought?â? He asked, pushing his form up, his hands on the edge of the seat and he stared at the other. Awe! He was so cute when stressed â?? wait ... Did he just say cute? Damn. Whatever. Uriel sighed heavily, pulling in his feet from outside, brushing off the dirt and stones onto the ground before he faced his friend once more, his legs crossed beneath his form as he looked over the other. He looked so sad. He did not like that look on his face. Definitely, he did not like that at all. He sighed softly, his eyes closing for a while as he tried to put his thoughts together properly. He did not want to have him get the wrong idea again. That had definitely not been his meaning of the comment earlier. He shook his head, looking up at the other and he gave him a weak smile. â??The comment about leaving you was unrelated to your feelings. I meant I would leave you to get food. Iâ??m hungry, what do you expect?â? He teased, pushing a foot against the otherâ??s thigh and he once more went back to thinking, trying ot be sure he got the proper words.

After a few moments, he took in a deep breath and decided that he was at risk for messing all this up again, but at least he would have attempted to clarify. â??And I did not try to string along your feelings or anything, I wanted to see if you would ever come out to tell me. Selfish, I realize, but whatâ??d you want me to do? â??Hey, I know youâ??re hot for me, but letâ??s just be friends anywayâ???â? He shook his head and then leant over to rest his chin on the crook of Austinâ??s elbow, looking up at the pathetic male and he smiled warmly. â??And youâ??re not forcing me to date you. I think staying my friend after this would be worse, right? The least I can do is at least go on a date with you, right? One date as a couple ... That wonâ??t kill me or anything like that. Besides, because I care about you, I want to try it out. Not like Iâ??m opposed to dating a guy ... Just never had the opportunity and well, itâ??s annoying when the person you crush on denies you, so, Iâ??m not denying you ... Merely giving you a trial run, kay? Take me out to breakfast and we can see how the whole dating shtick goes.â? He kissed his friendâ??s cheek, just trying it out, and to be honest, he did not really ... hate it. It was a little strange to kiss a guy on the cheek, but he did not completely hate the idea. Maybe it was the guy he kissed that he did not mind? Who knew?

"Oh.." He said softly and peered down before sighing, now he felt like an asshole and he sat back a bit before he glanced over to Uriel. "Well you sometimes need to explain things." He cocked his brow before a light smile grew upon his lips and then faded once more. His eyes closed but they opened quickly as he felt Uriels lips pressing to his cheek. His face seemed to grow a light pink but he nodded his head. "Fine, but you owe me." He pointed towards him before his hand moved and grasped the key in the ignition and turned it swiftly. Listening to the engine come to life once again his hand moved to the gear and shifted it into drive. Pulling forward he sat back and gave a soft sigh and he looked back over to Uriel before his eyes moved back to look at the road.

"Since I'm taking you to breakfast. You choose where you want to eat." He approached a stop sign and came to a stop before driving through and slowly coming to a red light just down the street. "I'm up for whatever. But you'll need to give me the twenty bucks back." He held his hand out, palm up and his fingers motioned towards him a bit. "Cough it up." He said and pressed on the gas when the light turned green and he began to glance around.

The male stuck his tongue out at the other and he turned so that his back was against the chair. A soft sigh to his lips and his arms folded over his lower torso as he watched where they were going. He listened to the other and then turned to look at him with a brow raised. He had to decide where they went? Well, that was not too bad. He stared in front of them before seeing the otherâ??s hand from the corner of his eyes. He turned to look at him and poked his tongue out at the male. He rummaged into his back pocket, taking out the crumpled bill and then placed it in the palm that was held out to him. He soon perked up when a Diner was coming up, pointing toward the building and he turned back to look at the other. â??How about there?â? He suggested, shrugging and waiting for them to park before he hopped out.

Moving from the truck, he gladly made his way toward the diner, opening the door for the taller man with his hand moved onto his hip and he leant against the door before following after the man into the diner. He walked over and soon was sitting across from the man and his legs crossed up and beneath his form, fiddling with the menu in front of him and he was not too sure what to do. He never really been on a date with a guy before and well, he would just wait to see if it would be much different from having breakfast and dinner like they normally would.

Reaching the diner he put the truck in park and turned it off. Hopping out and locking it, he neared the door to grab the door but Uriel beat him to it. Thanking Uriel, he stepped inside and glanced around before getting taken to their table in the corner in the back and he sat down across from Uriel and he looked over the Menu. He scratched his head a bit and cleared his throat as he closed it and set it to the side. Allready knowing what he was going to get and he found himself looking at Uriel before he peered down.

"So anything you'd like to do after this?" He asked and nipped his bottom lip for a moment before taking a sip of his water and he looked out of the window at the darkening, cloudy sky. "Gonna rain.." He mumbled and looked back over to Uriel as he sighed and gave a light smile. It did feel a bit more awkward than when they usually hung out and he frowned but tried to push the awkwardness...away as best as he could.

Uriel looked over at the man when his menu was put down, staring at him and he then glanced over outside of the window. He watched the gloomy sky and tapped his fingers upon the table while he thought. Where? He really had no idea where he wanted to go. He rested against the booth and he looked over at the brunette in front of him. His silvery jade eyes stayed to him and he chewed his bottom lip just a bit before he shrugged. â??Uhm ... No clue.â? He admitted before glancing to the waiter who came to the table. He held up the menu in his hands and he looked up at the other. â??French toast with sausage and Iâ??ll have a Dr. Pepper to drink.â? He stated and then looked over at Austin, waiting for the otherâ??s order while he tried to think of where they should go. He did not know where. He wanted to go somewhere, but that was the dilemma. He wanted to do something with him, try out this thing, but what?

He groaned, looking up at him and her felt so inexperienced. â??Youâ??re the gay one here ... Where should we go?â?

Austin cocked his brow, "Just cause I'm gay, doesn't mean I know where to go, Uriel." He stated and sighed as he ordered his food of a Red Rockers Ranch Chicken sandwich. He wasn't in the mood for breakfast right now and that sandwich sounded too good to pass up right now. "And Dr. Pepper as well." He nodded and handed the menu to the waiter before he looked up and over to Uriel. "Well, go for a swim. Go to a movie, like dinner and a Movie type thing. Could go back to one of our houses. Though put in a movie there." He sighed and smiled a bit, "I think Swimming would be fun. But, that's up to you." He cocked his brow and smiled. "What sounds better, watching a movie or going to the beach?" He asked and nipped his bottom lip. He took hold of his glass as the drinks were brought and he took a drink of it and sighed before setting it down onto the wooden table.

Music was heard in the background, the type that was played back in the seventies and eighties. His fingers tapped along the table and he looked up at the sound of a clap of thunder. A strike of lightening and soon another clap of thunder and he mumbled under his breath as he looked over to Uriel. "Well I guess swimming is out of the question. Unless you want to play with possible getting electricuted." He cocked his brow and gave a silly grin as he sat back. "So what have you been up to lately?" He asked, trying to keep a conversation going between them so the awkward silence didn't creep up on them.

Uriel looked at the man and he laughed softly. That was true. He just did not know what to do. His eyes closed and he let out a heavy sigh. Yep, this was getting a little bit awkward. He did not know what he wanted to do afterward. He looked at the man, listening to the suggestions and he tilted his head from side to side while he thought. The beach did not actually sound too bad. Swimming would be fun, though he did shower this morning. He pulled his lips together, thinking as his lips were pursed and his eyes continued to stay with the man. His fingers tapped upon the table and he straightened his back just a bit more and he glanced to the rain pouring from the skies. He pouted. There went that idea out the window, well, more so down the drain. Back to thinking it would be.

â??Beach is definitely out of the options.â? He laughed softly before he shrugged. â??Going to your place doesnâ??t sound so bad.â? He informed him, smiling lightly before he pulled his drink to him. He began to gently trail his forefinger around the top of the glass, a light sigh to his lips before his eyes moved back to the otherâ??s and he smiled happily. Should he be doing anything differently? He did not know what to do, but he would just ... act normal. â??Lately? Nothing ... Just sleeping and keeping the house clean for Mom. You?â? He asked, sipping his soda silently while he watched the man.

Austin shook his head and gave a soft laugh before he sighed and sat back, "Just working my ass off, like usual." He shrugged and swallowed as he peered down. But just then their food arrive and he gave a soft sigh as their plates were set down and he grabbed his sandwich after thanking the waiter and he took a bite of his food. His eyes closed and he savored the taste of chicken and bacon. Though he swallowed and sat back slowly, "Besides watching movies. Anything you'd like to do?" He asked and smiled over to him, cocking his head to the side.

He sighed, knowing that Uriel probably wasn't going to like the so called, 'date' and knew he wouldn't want to be anything but friends. But that was something he was going to have to live and deal with. There were plenty of other gay men that he could get along with, he just had to find the one. Though he peered up as he saw a girl who worked there eyeing, Uriel and he glared slightly. She laughed and rolled her eyes before she walked over to them, "Everything all right?" She asked and looked to them before over to Uriel and she cocked her brow. "Anything... I can get you." She asked and rested her hand on his shoulder. Austin continued to glare, wanting to say 'hey, that's my boyfriend' but yet he wasn't. So it was up to Uriel what he did, if he chose to flirt back he knew the date would be over.

The pink haired man listened silently to his friend, enjoying the bit of idle chat. He always hated when his friend would work too hard. He had that horrible habit of doing so. Not only was he deprived of the attention he liked from his friend, but it was definitely bad for his health. Anything to do? He thought for a while, tilting his head back and forth. There was the movie that they were going to see. What? He had not a clue yet. He would think on that at a later point. Thing being, he had not been on a date in general in a long while. He really was not sure. He shrugged, about to answer when he saw the otherâ??s gaze to someone else. He blinked a few times, looking over at the woman and then turning back to the man in front of him. He was never rude enough to check out anyone when he was on a date with. He hated those that checked out women when they were on dates with women. He wanted to slap them upside the head when he saw them, but never did.

Uriel kept his eyes to the other before he saw Austin look to the side of him, seeing the same woman from the corner of his eyes. Sighing heavily, he turned to look at her, the hand on his shoulder really not doing him any favors, only making him all the more annoyed. â??Our check since Iâ??ve seemed to have lost my appetite.â? He stated, turning to look back at Austin and he took a bite from his food and he looked up at the man, shrugging to their prior conversation. â??Iâ??m not sure. Do you want to stop anywhere on the way home? We can stop and get snacks, or something. I donâ??t know. I suck at decisions.â? He sighed heavily, trying to really think about what else they could do. Go to his house and just watch the movie would work fine for him. See what happens and ... whatever.

Her face seemed to have quite the shocked look, "Excuse me?" She asked and looked to Uriel, Austin clearing his throat. "The check. He doesn't want to be between your legs and get your herpes. Sorry, lady." Austin said, her face growing red and she turned before scoffing. He sat back and rubbed his head, "Well that was wonderful. At least I'm not the only one who thinks your attractive." He said with a smile and his face flushed once again and he sighed softly. "Thanks for not.. well you know. Hitting back and leaving me in the dust. That's happened to me way too many times. When I saw that, I got scared." He admitted and looked up just as the check was set down and the girl turned with a light huff.

He rolled his eyes and he pulled his wallet out from his back pocket and he placed thirty dollars down onto the check and he pushed it to the side. The waiter returning and he cocked his brow, "Keep the change, to yourself also." He said and nodded towards teh girl and shook his head. "No tip." He said and stood up, after having asked for a couple boxes to put their food in. He grabbed his box and his keys before he walked with him, opening up the door to the restaurant and both the door to his truck to let him in. Walking around her climbed into his side and he looked over to him. "Well seems we won't need to stop for snacks. Got this..since our appetites are gone." He said with a slight chuckle and started up the truck, and pulled out as he began to head back to his house.

Uriel looked across the table at the man, listening to him and he let out a soft sigh. He would not have gone that far with the insults, though he was thinking them. But, he just figured his friend wanted to be sure the woman realized that the pink-haired male was not interested. It worked. So, that was a bonus. He was one to subtly insult those that he was not attracted to. The woman definitely was not his type. He much preferred those with morals and standards and who did not seem like they would jump anything with a penis and pretty face. And yes, Uriel did have a â??pretty face.â? He took after his mother more than his father. He had some features the same as his Dad, but mostly, it was like looking in the mirror with his mom. Luckily, she was gorgeous â?? even at the age of forty. He turned to look back to the man with the mention of someone else finding him attractive. â??Of course they do. Itâ??s not like Iâ??m a virgin ... or unpopular.â? He added, shrugging his shoulders. He was not at the top o the food chain in popularity, but he was fairly up there and girls tended to like him a lot.

Standing up with his box in hands, he walked out and into the truck, with the appropriate thank yous to his friend for holding out the doors. He sat down and his feet moved up to the dashboard in front of him, opening up the box in front of him and beginning to pick at the food inside. He then turned to look at the man next to him with the comment. A brow rose in question with a snort to his lips. â??Iâ??m still raiding your fridge.â? He stated, taking a bite from the leftovers in front of him. His toes wiggled to the song that was going through his head, waiting to get to his house. He still was not sure how this date thing should be going. He had never dated a friend before, in general. He did not know if he should be cuddly, or kiss him, or ... something. He was completely at a loss of what he should be doing. He was confused. He did not really hate the idea of dating his friend, but then, what happened if they did not work out? He was fairly sure he could not just go back to being buddy-buddy with him. Oh, the confusion he held within him.

Sighing heavily, he was glad to see his friend's house coming into view. He hopped out of the truck, his leftovers in one hand while he walked to the door, resting against it, he waited for Austin to come to where he was. Really ... What should he do now? Austin was a very submissive kind of personality, so did that mean he had to make the first moves? Great. Even more confusion.

Sure, Austin had a submissive type personality. But that didn't mean he was going to stand there like a log and make Uriel do every or try to at least make the first move. Austins the one who holds the feelings for him, just trying to see if Uriel might as well. But Austin knew well enough, he'd make the first move at least. With them sitting there and just staring at the floor and going 'uhhh..' every five minutes wasn't going to make their 'date' turn out so great and he parked his truck in the driveway. Hopping out with him, walking up the drive he pulled his keys out before pushing them in and unlocking the front door. He let Uriel in and stepped in soon after him. Shutting the door and letting his keys drop down onto the coffee table by the front door. He turned, shrugging out of his jacket and hung it up.

His eyes peered up and over to Uriel, though not letting him sit down to eat or go to the fridge to 'raid' it. Because if he did, he'd have no chance. "Uriel." He said and cleared his throat, though his hands moved, his right hand against Uriels neck to the side and his left touching his shoulder. Though he leaned down as much as he had to, feeling his face flushing hotly though he pressed his lips against Uriels. Though hoping to god Uriel wouldn't pull back with a confused or disgusted face. Though, his kiss was a bit fast, their lips almost crushing, but he became a bit softer before he pulled back. He looked to Uriel with almost an embarrassed or ashamed face. "S-sorry." He stammered with his words, his hands running to the back of his head and scratching it. He sighed and stepped past him, now he only made it more Awkard.

GREAT.

He moved over to where his selection of DVD's were and he knelt down, his fingers trailing over them to decide what to put in.

Uriel kicked off his shoes and was already planning to find what he could make from the contents of his refrigerator when he heard his name being called. Turning to look at the other, he was definitely caught off guard. He froze. Eyes wide, arms limp at his sides, and his breath completely caught in his throat. He stared at the man while he kissed him, a little too shocked to kiss him back, or do much of anything actually. He blinked a few times when the man pulled away, blushing and heading to search through the DVDs. He stood where he was, slowly a hand lifted, trailing fingertips delicately along his lips as he realized something â?? he actually liked the kiss. He did not know how, what, or when ... but he did not hate the kiss. He was confusing himself. Did he like Austin that way then? Or was it just the spur of the moment type of thing that caught him off guard.

Scrunching his nose at the thought, he turned to see the other on the ground, and he began to walk toward him. Tossing the box onto the coffee table, he literally pounced his friend, pinning him to the ground while straddling his waist. His lips connected with the taller maleâ??s, eyes closed, hands on the floor beside the otherâ??s head, and he kissed his childhood friend for quite some time. He did not do too much more than just moving their lips together, a brief run of his tongue along the manâ??s lips but that had been it. He did not want to really move all too fast, he just wanted the questions bubbling within him to be answered. They were. After a few minutes, the pink haired male pulled back, sitting on Austinâ??s hips and he looked past him at the far wall, thinking once more. Yep. He liked the kiss. He sighed heavily, turning to look down at his friend and shrugging his shoulders. â??Looks like you have yourself a boyfriend.â?

Though now it was Austins turn to be shocked, he heard his box set down onto the table and turned his head. Though he gasped out before giving a deep grunt as his back hit the floor underneath him. The smaller male on top of him and his chest rose and fell quickly though he almost lost his breath as their lips pressed together once more. This time, not Austin kissing him first. Uriel actually kissed him first and he about melted, leaning up as much as he could as Uriel straddled his waist. His hand rising up to touch his cheek softly. Though the kiss ended and he swallowed, leaning back as his head pressed into the carpet and those words only made his cheeks flush and his eyes closed. "Really?" He asked and sat up a little bit. His elbows resting just below him and holding his weight.

It seemed he was dumbfounded almost more than happy. Well he was happy of course, but just..surprised at the fact that the date hadn't gone well at the beginning. But one he kissed him, he was suddenly his boyfriend. Though he knew he had to push those thoughts aside, why worry on why when he was happy to be his boyfriend. That he did like him and his heart almost skipped a beat. He fully sat up and his arms moved to wrap around his waist and he looked up into the boys eyes and he smiled softly. "What made you decide that?" He asked.
