"Well... that was one hell of a mission," Diego commented, wincing in pain while the group was backing to Magnolia Town and back to their home.... the Fairy Tail Guild. Diego Vendrix was one of the few and the proud members to join Fairy Tail. With the guildmark right over above near his heart, it showed his loyalty and his pride in being part of Fairy Tail. Sure, he was a bit more one of the controlled ones and thus really did not really participate in the brawls within the guild, but he still stood united against them. You mess with his family, he will go on the warpath. Diego was a pre-teen when he joined the Guild and he grew close to everyone though to him, the one he was closest to was Mirajane. Sure at first it was a bit difficult to get along ebcause of how rough she was, but he was always patient with her.
Furthermore when Lisanna died and he comforted her and Elfman.
As such, they all bonded and joined together. Diego was skilled in Light Magic, training under Makarov the Guild Master himself. Though this led to a rivalry with his grandson, Laxus. He was pretty all right, but Diego noted the man grew angrier and more bitter, which made their rivalry a bit fiercer.
Right now though, they were all celeberating. They had successfully gone and rescued Erza. And gained a couple new friends, including Simon. He nearly died against Jellal, but Diego used one of is Light-based illusions to trick Jellal, but he got hit hard himself. Then Natsu, good ol Natsu, went to town on him.
