Dumb/weird n00bie question?

During my poking around and trying to figure out how some things work around the board, I came across a couple curious things, that I am, well, curious about.

While browsing through different members and checking out their profiles, I noticed that many have four ‘links’ on their profiles. Profile posts. Latest activity. Postings. About. Others only have three. Their Latest Activity button is missing or turned off? Why would that be? Is there a difference?

I came across one as well that when I clicked on their name to view their profile, it wouldn’t allow me to at all.

Just curious questions. Nothing major.

These are options in the privacy settings!
Users can choose between letting 'everyone', 'members only', 'people you follow', and 'nobody' view different parts of their profiles.
