Does anyone remember the old Harry Potter RP site?

I'm just curious if anyone on here was ever a member on the old Harry Potter roleplay forum site? For the life if me I can't remember my old name tag but it's where I started writing so many years ago! (Makes me feel old...)

I remember people saying they used to sort you into a hat and you could only RP within your house? I was never sorted however so I'm not sure how true that was. But it became really stricked to the point you couldnt even say beer.

Iv only known of one, i believe at the beginning you was sorted into a house in which you rp in. When I joined it was more open so you could write in any house thread.
