Notice Conversation/Site Outage Tonight - Preparing for Upgrades

This won't be the upgrade itself. I need to modify the conversation tables in order to support new features.

Plan is to try turning just conversations off at 1 AM Pacific - 2.5 hours from this post. The rest of the site should still be accessible.

Probably a bit over a half hour.

The conversation table is enormous (22 gigabytes), so it takes time to edit every column.

Is it safe to use conversations again? Got the maintenance page several times past hour.

Yes, that was a completely separate issue. Server is a bit short on memory and was very seriously fragmented, causing slowdowns.

Will be rebooting tonight to clean up the rest of it.
