Gagazet, wearing their original class dress spheres; Yuna the gunner, Rikku the theif, and Paine the warrior. They had come here to search for another sphere that had been detected, but had encountered a set of enemies they hadn't expected. Now, they stood facing the large beast that had been summoned after they'd defeated the lesser monsters. It stood well over 12 feet, was large and bulky, and often reminded people of Cerebus, the three headed hound of Hell. The beast was angry, but was faltering - they had been fighting it for a little while now. It was then that Yuna decided to try magic and pulled a dress sphere out, to change her class into that of a Black Mage.
As she went to use it, the Beast moved to strike, flipping around to smack her with his tail. Yuna's sphere and hand caught the brunt of the attack and she flew back a few feet. When she landed, the dress sphere in her hand shattered and a bright, blinding light flashed among the sounds of buzzing electricity. She covered her eyes and cried out, then hearing Rikku and Paine doing the same. Before the light faded, she grew light headed and her vision began to black over. It wasn't much longer until she collapsed on the ground.
The light faded to reveal that the beast had fled, and that Rikku and Paine were gone. In fact, where the three had stood, only one girl remained. She was laying where Yuna had collapsed, but the form clearly did not belong to the ex-summoner. She was pale like Yuna, with Rikku's shock of bleach blonde hair, and when her eyes opened, she had Paine's oddly colored hues. When she stood, she would stand at Paine's height. It was as if the three girls had merged, and this unconscious girl lying at the base of Mt. Gagazet was the result.
The only explanation was that the shattering of the dress spheres in mid transformation, had malfunctioned and caused them to transform all at once, into one body. Such a strange and unfortunate mishap.
