Mark adjusted the strap on his bookbag, pulling it so that it sat a bit more comfortably on his shoulder. It was 5 o'clock on a Friday afternoon and for some reason he still had his bookbag on his bag instead of on the floor of his room like it was supposed to be. Of course the reason he still had it was because of the fact that he had failed his science class so badly that if he did it again he was going to be off the soccer team. So the coach had set him up with a tutor and since Friday was their short day for practice that was one of the few days that he could meet with his new tutor outside of school.

He had heard the girl's name at some time but he couldn't really remember it at the moment. He had connected it to a face strangly enough, mostly because he had thought the connecting face was somewhat cute. Not enough to really draw much attnention from him besides a glance, but she did get somewhat remembered. A nerd, but one who had choosen to be a nerd instead of being forced by his looks.

Of course he could find someone better looking for himself. He was the captain of the soccer team after all and quite good looking if he said so himself. He was tall topping six feet with a form that was covered in well toned muscles from constantly playing sports. He had a short shock of blonde hair and brillant green eyes set into a good looking face. All together it made quite a pleasing package to the ladies and though he didn't have a girlfriend now it was only so long before he was dating again.

Stopping in front of the door to the house where his tutor was supposed to live he knocked on the door. He had to wait for a little while but the door opened up and the girl's mother stood there. "Hello Ma'am. Your daughter was supposed to tutor me."

"Oh she is right upstairs. Should I call her?"

"Ellianna are you almost finished cleaning your room?" "Yes ma'am." "Alright. I'll be leaving to meet your father in about fifteen minutes. Are you sure you'll be alright by yourself for the rest of the night?" "Yes ma'am, I'm sure." "Alright...Just call us if you need anything." "Got it." Ellianna, or Anna which is what she preferred to be called, made her way up a few steps to close the basement door, her bedroom door actually, before making her way back downstairs into the large space to finish folding her clothes before her company got here. Unlike the usual guys and girls she had over on a regular afternoon she was expecting someone a bit different. Actually a lot different. An entirely different clique that was so far away from her own it was weird kind of person. Not for anything special mind you, but because she was suppose to be tutoring.

Now normally she didn't tutor anyone in anything. Her thing was, if they were failing a subject it was their own fault and they needed to deal with the consequences. But the person that had asked her wasn't the typical teacher, student, or coach. As a matter a fact it was her uncle. Coach Briggs lead the soccer team and because they were close, though no one knew about their relation in school, it never came up so there was no reason for anyone to, and he asked a favor of her she said yes off the bat. So for the next couple of weeks she could be tutoring Mark, captain of said soccer team. It might have been weird because she had a crush on the boy, she had since freshman year, but not like she would act on those feelings, she didn't have a chance with him anyway. She was pretty and all, but not that pretty, just cute, or so she had been told.

Ellianna in fact 'adorable', 'loveable', 'baby-like' in many ways, or so she had been told. Despite being a senior in high school she certainly didn't look the part. For starters she had a baby like face, which was most of the reason people thought her much younger then she was. Her eyes were a pretty shade of violet but were hidden behind a pair of wide circular glasses that made them look big. Not in a creepy way but in a sweet way. Her hair was unbelievably long, the light pink strands flowing down a few inches past her hips. She stood at 5'5 with a swimmers build ((she swam in elementary and middle school but had stopped in high school when her eyes got bad)) but she often kept her body covered up so it was hard to tell. The most impressive thing about her had to be her bust though. She wasn't huge either but at 34D she wasn't the smallest thing around.

Plopping down on the bed the girl finished folding the last of her clothes and put them away, removing the white blouse and blue jeans she wore, replacing them with a white tank top and a pair of blue shorts afterwords. At least she could get comfortable for a few minutes before her guest arrived. Or at least thats what she thought before she heard the door bell ring. 'So much for that idea.' Grabbing her pen, a notebook, and her science textbook from her basket of school things she headed upstairs and sure enough, Mark was at the door.

"Hi," she said, adjusting her glasses a bit, "Come on in. Take a seat." She said, her mother heading upstairs to finish preparing for tonight. Walking over to the couch the girl sat her books down on the table before turning off the T.V. "Can I get you anything?"

"No that is fine Anna. We just need to get through this." Mark did know her name, though some might find it strange. He figured that it would probably be a good idea to at least know the name of his tutor. It was kind of strange that he had known her face at least from the school itself, exspecially since they were about as far away from each other in the school structure as they could be. He was a jock, and a popular one at that, and she was a nerd and certainly tended to be a quite one. Still he remembered her face from a few of his classes and even if he couldn't connect name til face until now she had been something of interest.

Matt unslung his bookbag from his shoulder and placed it at the side of his chair while he sat down. He reached down and pulled out his school supplies, spreading them across the table in front of him.

"So where do you want to start. I really dont' get much of this so any place is fine with me." Matt said, pushing his brown hair back from his face and looking underneath his bangs at his new tutor.

'You owe me something big for Christmas coach...Seriously. She wasn't quite sure where to start with a person that didn't understand anything at all. Hopefully he was just kidding when he said that. Probably not though. "Well...That doesn't help me much." Twirling a strand of hair around her finger she thought about the best way to put this. "Saying start anywhere to me means I can start going over what happened in the Precambrian Era or where Australia was during Pangea." Reaching behind her she let her hair out of the pony tail it was in, leaning back against the chair. "So...How about you tell me what you're going over now and I'll start from the beginning of that unit? Or maybe what confuses you more then anything."

Anna couldn't help but to wonder how this was really going to work. She hadn't tutored anyone before. She was a teachers aid for a week but that was the closest she had ever gotten to teaching something. The most she had learned was that people learn different things, different ways. While some people learned things by writing them down others learned things by seeing it first or maybe experiencing it. Maybe it would have been best if she found out which way he learned things first and then started teaching.

"Actually no, don't even tell me that. We're going to do something different." Moving from her spot on the couch she moved to take a seat on the table in front of him. "Alright, so this might not make sense at first but...What's the best way you learn things, or remember them. Is it by writing things down, looking or watching something, getting a hands on approach, experiencing it? Or do you not know and we need to find out?"

Anna was loosing him for a second, her big words sliding over his head. It wasn't that he was dumb, he really wasn't, but he did tend to focus on things that he cared about a bit more and that wasn't science. He liked history quite a lot and did well there and of course he did well in PE but those were his only two good classes. He caught back on when she started to talk about learning styles. He could at least answer this question.

"Well I always liked labs the best. So I guess that has to be a hands on approach or experiencing it. That might be a problem though. We are doing biology so unless you have a human body in the basement then it might be hard." Matt grinned at her, showing off brillant white and straight teeth to her. He did know that he coudl be charasmatic if he needed to be and he figured that it didn't hurt to turn on the charm a little bit. After all he did want her to keep tutoring him so that he could pass and stay on the team.

"Good, thats a start." Standing up she stretched out, letting out a small yawn. "Well in the basement we have Bob and Larry...And then there's Cathie but mom doesn't let me and dad use her to much." The thing was she was completely serious about that. Her mom worked in a hospital so she brought home a few bodies, replicas that is none of them were real, except once but that was a long story she didn't want to even think about. "But then we can always use our own bodies but something tells me I'm the last person you would like to see naked." Grabbing her things she walked over to the basement door, signaling him to follow her.

Turning on the stair lights she sighed, letting her blush show through a little. Even though she wouldn't say it out loud she did find the boy charming. She wasn't sure if that was because of his natural charm or because he was trying to show it off. Sighing a bit she walked into her bedroom area, placing her books on her bed before turning on the lightly. "You can sit on my bed but we'll be working on the floor mainly until I get the bodies completely cleaned." Walking to a back room she cut on another light, taking maybe about ten minutes she walked out with two bodies. One was a skeleton with labeled parts and the other was a human replica with labeled parts, inside and out. Placing them on her rug she blew them off a little, wiping the dust off of them. "Meet Bob," she pointed to the skeleton, "And Larry. They'll be helping you for...well as long as this takes."

Matt was a bit suprised that they had something like that just hanging around in her basement but the girl was a bit strange. It must be that her family fit in the same mold as their daughter. He did think that the comment about using their own bodies. It certainly wasn't what he was expecting out of the cute but definitly somewhat naive girl like Anna. "Well if you want to use bodies than we can always work something out ourselves." Matt grinned at her, showing that he was joking as much as she was.

He did catch her blush though so maybe she wasn't quite as joking as she was. Matt followed her down into the baement, apparently her room, but instead of sitting down on top of her bed like she had asked he moved around her room. Running his fingers along her walls and looking over the different things that she had posted up on the walls.

"You know it is not a normal thing for people to have skeltons and bodies lying around their own house. Much less in their own bedroom. I was wondering though.....How often to you invite guys down to your bedroom to show off your body collection?" Matt said, running his fingers along her dresser.
