Kingrith wasn’t the kind of vampire who talked too much. Yes, he had played rather low by biting Isabelle without even warning her, but he couldn’t bare hearing her blood pressure, knowing it needed something it couldn’t have. Vampires weren’t, in general, low creatures, whenever they bit someone and left that person alive, they would sort of raise the person, feeding it whenever needed, even if in secret. The only conclusion King got was that whoever bit Isabelle was already a monster, no longer a vampire, and she was lucky to be alive.

Actually, she was quite luck to be alive many times, apparently. It wasn’t everyone who escaped the human government, even if Lucien had gone after her to give her a hand. Oh well, - at that point he moved his hands with quite some skill and attached her mechanic eye on her empty eye ball – it didn’t matter now. He would take care of her, even if she would never hear that from his mouth. Even because she would hate him even more if he said that. Then again – he took the mechanic arm and attached to her, proving to be rather coordinated and good in following instructions, even if he wasn’t exactly the kind who liked modern and high-tech stuff – his teeth poison would soon start taking over her. Yes, she would need his blood and, in the same time, even if she was a so anti-vampire human, she would start feeling attracted to him. It was just natural, the closer and longest she spent near him and the more blood she drank from him, the more in love she would be for Kingrith.

He was thinking on how exactly he could solve that situation. Alehi had been clear about never allowing her into Firena due to the things she did and, truth be said, Kingrith would never live in the human’s world. To start, his look wasn’t exactly normal, his Goth style was way too Goth and there was no castle which he could decorate with candles and black iron items all around. He surely couldn’t live like Lucien in a basement. Worst of all, a modern basement. He finished attaching her leg, then he suddenly froze and covered her mouth, his black eyes looking too the walls as if he could see through them. “There is someone upstairs.” He informed simply, then wrapped his arms around her and touched the same mirror he had came through. “Sorry, kid, you wait in there.” And, as soon as the mirror opened, without any form in special, he pushed her inside, leaving her locked inside the mirror.

Seconds later he proved to be right about the person, for someone was forcing the door.

Lucien had one heavy hand over Aiden’s chest. He had not allowed the human to move up an inch from the couch ever since the other woke up. “So… you are not freaking out? I am not taking you to your sister until I am sure you will deal well with the situation. Plus my brother is there and she couldn’t have a better bodyguard. Sure enough Alehi wouldn’t do such a good job.” Mainly because Alehi was an elf and elves weren’t known for just killing their enemies like vampires could easily do.

One cold finger opened the bottoms of Aiden’s blouse and the fingers ran coldly over the human’s skin. Soon enough Lucien was laying, still fully dressed, over his partner. His face was just without any expression, as usual. “I think your sister is furious with the government.” He informed, “But don’t let her do anything stupid, alright? Maybe you convince her to move in with us, I think she would feel more protected. Or with Alehi, in the market.” He simply stared at Aiden’s bare chest for some time, but it was obvious he was paying attention to the other’s heart and blood pressure. Nope, he wouldn’t allow Aiden out unless the other was quite calm, he had been forced to hypnotize Aiden to make the other sleep, and he had promised he would not use such power without warning. Aiden had just freaked out…

One nail was used to cut Lucien’s wrist and he soon put the bleeding skin over Aiden’s mouth. With another movement, he had Aiden on his lap, his free hand wrapping tightly around the other’s body. “Now… eat and, after that… undress me. You know you want it.”

She couldnâ??t believe that he had bit her and then he even got her to drink his blood. Yet she couldnâ??t scream at him. She wasnâ??t sure what to do. Suddenly she felt like a different person. The hungry that had been plaguing her for years was finally gone and things were clear and rather.... nice. She shuttered slightly. He had bitten her while she was at her weakest, which bothered her. She was missing half her limbs and even if she had been at full strength she wouldnâ??t have even had a chance to fight him off. He took her by surprise. She might not yell at Kingrith for this but she would certainly be yelling at Lucien the moment she got her hands on him.

She still needed the vampireâ??s speed, time was of the essence, the sooner she got these limbs the better they should work. At the same time she hated depending on him, she hated having to depend on anyone. It seemed that anyone that she depended on let her down. Always. She liked to be independent and now she had to depend on this vampire for blood when he was perfectly fine starving. She knew the side effects of this toxin now in her bloodstream. She had gone through it once before and she knew perfectly well what it did. Not only would she need his blood but she would begin to feel attached to him. She hated that, it made her feel sick. She remembered feeling attached to the creature that killed and raped her mother then attempted the same thing with her, it was a nightmare but at least he was never around for her to do something stupid. This time she wouldnâ??t be that lucky, she would need to find a cure to this toxin to keep her from falling for the vampire but she was not sure how.

She began to move her new limbs, testing them out, picking up something from the table, seeing through the new eye. It was strange, now she had all kind of vision, including infrared. She was about to stand up and test the weight but then suddenly he covered her mouth. Her eyes widened when he said that there was someone upstairs and her heart pounded in her chest. The last time someone broke into her home she was raped and nearly murdered and that was years ago. She didnâ??t want the same thing to happen again. That was why she was so paranoid and overprotective of her little brother who insisted on going out in the world despite her best warnings. She thought that she was making it safer from inside her home but she recently learned that she was only making it worse. Then suddenly he wrapped his arms around her and pushed her into the mirror. It closed behind her and she banged on it, trying to get out. Her heart raced in her chest, she was scared of the intruder in her home and even more frightened now that she was trapped in a mirror.

Not long after that five people burst through the door. The saw Kingrith in the lab and right away they began to shoot at him. They were men of the government and after her escape they came here to find her and if they didnâ??t find her they were instructed to take everything that they could. They didnâ??t have her mind but they wanted whatever they could get of it. â??Donâ??t let them take anything! Stop them!â? She yelled form the other side of the mirror, not sure if she could be heard from the mirror but she really wanted out.

Aiden woke up and was about to shoot up out of bed but Lucien kept a hand on his chest and kept him pinned down. He tried to remain calm as he looked up at the man but he was still scared for his sisterâ??s life. Even if Lucien had rescued her he didnâ??t know what the government had done to her and he was determined to find out and see if she was okay. Lucien wanted him to calm down but this was his family, he just couldnâ??t sit back and relax, he needed to see her to be sure that she was okay.

Lucien undid his shirt and he gasped only slightly when he felt the cold fingers running over his skin. â??Of course she is furious with them. You saw what they did to her.... what did they do to her? Please, tell me.â? Aiden pleaded, not knowing was like having a knife in his stomach and watching the person who put it there twist it about. â??They had her taken from her home, that is enough to piss her off, not to mentioned what they probably did to her.â? Aiden bit his lip and looked away. He really didnâ??t want to think about it but at the same time he needed to know. He noticed that the vampire was staring at his chest, he wondered if he was resisting the urge to touch it. Aiden became frustrated. No, if he wanted to he wouldnâ??t resist. Damn his sensual charm. Having Lucien on top of him made it harder for him to focus on his sister, his thoughts kept trailing to what he and Lucien could be doing in this position.

He watched the man cut his wrist and Aiden bit his lip. He attempted to resist but it was not long before Aiden had his mouth of the wound, nursing it. Then suddenly he was in the manâ??s lap, his arm around him. Slowly but surely Aiden began to calm down, after he finished eating he looked up at Lucien. He smiled at him, the man knew him too well, of course he wanted to undress him. â??You know Lucien, some times you can be cruel.â? He said teasingly before he reached up and kissed the man, unbuttoning the vampireâ??s shirt as he did so.
