Welcome to the thread. First I'd like you to know that I dislike major amounts of bs when it comes to plays of the role persuasion, second following with a major sense of respect to the three part movie known as Dr. Horrible. If you do not know Dr. Horrible at all, please watch it and then return. If you do know Dr. Horrible then you can start making a basic profile.

Surname: (if they are a villain/hero/etc)
Alignment: (where yah stand according to the general public, which ranges from 'unkown' to either side of the spectrum)
Power and Drawback to such: (choose an ability and you automatically have a drawback associated to it, fire users sometimes spontaneously combust, strong builds have weak minds, etc. being human is its own drawback and power at the same time)
Origins/Background: (self-explanitory)

So you know, once we have a few characters to deal with, the story will then revolve around what they are and what they can bring to the rp. As such, if you ask for what the plot will be then I might as well sucker punch the person who didn't read this initial post all the way, because that constitutes as a large amount of bs I don't want to deal with in the first place.

Name: Ivan Montreal
Surname: The Shanker
Alignment: Unaligned, though close to a villain if he could manage to be better with his abilities.
Power and Drawback to such: If Ivan is wearing a non-conforming hat (basically not a wool-cap) he can hide or hold an object inside of it, then make a temporary copy of it in one of his hands. However, the copy is at about half the strength of the original item, or consistency if it is not solid. This ability is useless if the hat itself has no open room, or if there is an absence of a hat in the first place.
Origins/Background: Ivan Montreal grew up with his mother until he discovered a resemblance between himself and a super-villain known as 'The Spiker' who could manage to conjure spikes from solid objects to his whim. After confronting 'The Spiker' in the midst of a heist, Ivan was brought into the underground super-villain society with his father teaching him what he could, even discovering his latent ability to copy objects into his hands if the original is in his hat. Unfortunately, before Ivan could be taught specifically the secret as to why his father had a much more potent ability, The Spiker was imprisoned before being given the death penalty for his heinous crimes. Ever since then Ivan has been attempting to live out his life trying to fill in his father's shoes, even though they are about 50 lbs each and scratch up the cement in his basement when he tries them on.
Extra Information: Ivan hasn't attempted at becoming a registered villain or hero yet, because he doesn't want to deal with the responsibilities as well as penalties for failure in either of the branches. His ability is also able to be accessed if the hat he is wearing contains only a part of the item he wishes to copy, though if it is piercing his hat (like a small sword through the brim) it has to be under one pound in weight and within the size of his palm. He collects small cutlass drink swords to put into his hat, usually in a pattern that takes him an hour or so to decide on doing, as well as not wanting to break the swords he puts into his hat. He has made it a personal goal to make only the brim of the hat the only visible piece of the hat, the rest covered in small plastic swords which he bought with drinks.
