Hi hello! Welcome and thank you for your time. I'm Lost and I'm here to find stories. This is a quick and dirty thread for my cravings that are not getting the attention they want from my other thread.
Let's get what I don't want out of the way so we can get to the good stuff.
Now for the good stuff. My plots are pretty bare boned intentionally as I don't want to lay out a fully scripted story already, I want to create with you. I have tons of ideas to fill out these skeletons, just ask.
Monsterpocalypse (modern): Some event has occurred, and monsters now inhabit the planet, and our characters must not only survive but thrive in this dangerous new world. I have multiple ideas for what the "Event" is depending on what kind of monsters we are interested in surviving. They could be creatures that came from deep under the ground/ocean. Sudden mutation of natural wildlife. An ultra-aggressive non-sapient alien race. An unknown pathogen. Some of my inspirations for this idea are Love and Monsters, A Quiet Place, The Mist, Metro, Gears of War, Dead Space.
Monsterpocalypse (fantasy): Pretty much the same concept as about but in a world a fantasy. The 'event' could be a natural outcome of a world populated by monsters, eventually they simply grew to outnumber humanity. Or they were summoned from another realm. A spell gone terribly wrong. The "Heroes" failed to stop the mad wizard and his plans to end the world succeed. Again, plenty of room to plot and work out just how the world came to be in the state it is in and how our characters will survive it.
Zombie Apocalypse: The dead ain't dead no more. The cause, and flavor of zombie is open for discussion. This can be modern or fantasy as well.
Fantasy Adventure: I don't care the scale. We could play a pair of brand-new adventures delving their first dungeon to great heroes being tasked with saving the world. I'm just craving the action and adventure, the fights and loot and the fun adventuring tropes.
It's unpolished and a work in progress but these are the shapes in the static of my thoughts that I would love to give more of a form to. Thank you for your time and I hope you have an amazing day.
