Long ago, the great pyramids of Egypt stood proud and tall throughout the land, with the mighty Pharaoh at its rule. However, there was also a very rare treasure that was said to be hidden away in these pyramids, one that had been fought over for many years. While many scientists and archaeologists have been working together to uncover these ruins, the treasure has yet to be found. There doesn't seem to be a day where they are feverishly searching for this ancient treasure, looking to display it all in a big museum for all to see. Of course, this treasure had also gotten the attention of many well-known treasure fanatics. While many have been able to uncover hidden passages that were unknown to others, they had never been heard of again, apparently claimed by the many traps that awaited them. Because of this, nobody had been able to reach the depths of the pyramid ruins for this treasure. Of course, there were numerous individuals that were not looking to give up on this endeavor. At this moment, another plane had touched down in the barren land, another treasure fanatic looking for some loot.

As the plane touched down, the young individual hopped out from the side, shielding her eyes with her hand from the blazing sun. With the conditions of this place, it was crazy for anyone to go out here and try and find this treasure themselves. Of course, for treasure hunters, there was no such thing as partners. She would find the treasure herself, so that she had nobody to split the spoils with. Her name was Amanda, a young lupine treasure hunter. She wasn't quite as well-known in the business, but she did have some notable finds in her time. Plus, she was known to be quite popular among them for many reasons. Today, she was looking to add this 'Pharaoh's Treasure' to her list of accomplishments. Her body was covered head to toe in a beautiful coal black coat of fur, and her eyes were a bright amber. For the extreme heat, she was wearing a tight white tanktop and beige shorts. Around her waist was a belt carrying numerous objects, including a light and dagger. After waving off the pilot, she had quickly made her way to the ruins, dropping right in.

As she moved further in, she had brushed away numerous cobwebs. It seemed like there hadn't been anyone to observe here recently. That was just fine with her. She made her way quickly through the area, following the way that many hunters before her had gone. She had learned of what these traps were, and prepared ways to avoid them. Because of this, she was quickly making her way down into the dark chambers of the ruins. She had finally come to the final trap, pressing the respective stone in, with the door opening in front of her. She quickly stepped in as the passageway collapsed behind her. She was left unscathed in all this, letting out a little chuckle. "Hmph, not a problem at all." she said, starting to look around in the room she had found herself in. There wasn't a lick of treasure visible in here, but it looked to be like a throne room of some sort. It was sure in good condition despite how long it had been abandoned down here.

The story and records about this certain Pyramid is only whispered about. The stories about it's legendary treasure had long since spread all across of Egypt... and yet nobody knew where exactly in Egypt the legend had originally came from. Not only that but while there was no hardcore evidence to ultimately prove that it exists... there had been a couple of facts that never ever denied it's existence, with a few pieces of evidence that strongly points towards 'yes.' It wasn't until recently that they've seen a Pyramid that matches a lot with the Pyramid in legend... and if that was the case, the legendary treasure was SURE to be inside of the Pyramid. Some had braved to explore the Pyramid, but all of them soon found out that the traps were not only still intact, but working juuuust fine.

However, while there were many traps that prevented people from getting too far, this one person seemed to be going much further than anyone before her. In fact, she might have been able to be the one to come out with treasure in hand and reputation of how she conquered the Pyramid's defenses... but there was one trap she couldn't avoid... nor would she have any way of knowing that it was there.

As she looked at the throne room, there was what looked like a coffin at where the throne would have been. However her light then mysteriously burned out. It was a good 15 seconds of her in complete darkness until the torches in the room lit up one by one until the room was nicely lit...But just what had lit them?

An ominous voice filled the room. "Who is the foolish mortal to disturb my slumber?!" The voice said, the voice sounding as if she had woken up someone, which pissed them off. The long rectangle 'patterns' on the floor turned out to be actually a cover for more coffins as a lot of them open... and people who were wrapped up like the kind of mummies you'd see in a movie. As they stumbled to get up, the mummies surrounded her as they tried to grab at her.

Amanda continued to observe the throne room, trying to find any clues she could find for the location of the treasure. Of course, she had no research on this area, as nobody had been able to go this far besides her. As she looked ahead, she noticed there was something that stood out quite a bit: a coffin. It didn't seem like the kind that they would bury their people in, but it did catch her interest. It had been so conveniently positioned that suggested the Pharaoh's position. Before she could investigate further though, her light had suddenly gone off, leaving her in the dark trying to fix it.

Much to her surprise however, the torches that lined the room had started to light up, but they seemed to just light up by themselves. "W-what the hell?!" she muttered aloud. She was looking around for the source of the voice, which was enough to send a shiver up her spine. She looked down in time to see the coffins beneath her opening, and she was soon faced with a group of mummies out to get her, another trap. She quickly nabbed the dagger from her belt, running at them and slashing at them, looking to at least break through and get some breathing room.

The dagger slashed through them quite easily.... however, they weren't affected by her knife. There wasn't even a single hint of blood coming out of their wounds as the group of mummies continued to circle around her, grabbing at her as charging in wasn't the best idea at the time. The voice again rung out throughout the room. "Do not kill the intruder.... they were skilled enough to get this far, so it's only fair that I be the one to kill them personally!"

One of the mummies finally got a grip on her arm, though not the arm that was armed with the dagger. As he held her, the bandages seemed to slip around her arm as if it was a serpent as the bandage intended to bind the mummy and the girl's arm together so that she wouldn't escape. Another mummy came close to her.

Seeing as they were wrapped completely in bandages, it was no doubt that she would be able to cut through them so easily. However, her plan had not gone exactly to plan. Even as she cut deep int them, they were completely unaffected, and soon both her arms had been seized by the mummies surrounding her. She struggled wildly in their grasp, wanting to escape. "Hey! Lay off!" she growled, hearing the voice again. Who the hell are you huh?!" She turned her head in time to see the bandage wrap around her arm, securing her to the mummy. "Tch, what the hell are you doing?!" As the other mummy came at her, she again swung her dagger at it, hoping to at least get it out of the way. "You think you'll kill me after all this? I'm not leaving here without this treasure!"

The coffin that was in the place of the throne opened up as the body that was lying inside of it sat up. Though unlike the mummies, he wasn't covered in bandages at all... in fact, it looked like he was in the garb that a Pharaoh would wear if he was alive, and not being buried in it. He was covered in robes at least from the waist down, as he was topless. His muscles were exposed as if he was showing them off. "Bring the intruder here." He said as one of the mummies grabbed her dagger and struggled to pull it out of her hand as they brought the girl in front of their Pharaoh.

Soon, her dagger had been ripped from her grip, leaving her completely helpless now. To think that these mummies would be alive even now was astonishing. However, this was no time to admire everything around her. She noticed that the coffin ahead of her had opened up, a figure stepping out of it. She was surprised to see that it was not a mummy, but an anubis-like person dressed much like a Pharaoh. Was this the ancient Pharaoh from long ago, or was this some joke?! That was the thought running in her mind. She still struggled even as she was pulled up in front of the Pharaoh, glaring up at him. "What the hell do you want huh?"

"That's what I should be saying... does the fact that this place is filled to the brim with traps say that I want to be bothered?" He said as he stood up and walked to her as he grabbed her chin and forced her to look up at him. Though as he looked down at her, he couldn't help but notice how much she looked like someone she knew before he had decided to rest in this Pyramid. He turned her head as he examined her. Almost everything, if not everything about her reminded the Pharaoh of this person. He lets go of her cheek. "Well.... You know what, you made it this far. How about if I make you a deal... instead of killing you, I'll let you go.... however, I will place a curse on you."

"Tch. What the hell's that suppose to mean. Traps are reasonable for some gold mine like this. More importantly, aren't you supposed to be long dead or something?! I mean, it's be hundreds of years since these pyramids were even standing." She still glared up at him, even as he took her chin. She was wondering why he was spending all this time looking her over rather than kill her, like he had planned to. She listened to his words as he spoke, surprised, and a bit insulted. "What the hell?! You even know why I came here in the first place?! and on top of that, there's no way I'll be having some damn curse on me!"

The mummy that took her dagger away walked up to the Pharaoh as he presented the dagger that was taken from her as he grabbed it. He then smirked as he hovered the blade against her throat. "Well, it's either being alive to steal another day.... or just be another victim that my grand Pyramid had claimed." He said as he smirked. "Either way, it's a privileged, whether if it's living, or being killed by my hands. It's your decision."

Amanda was a treasure seeker at heart, unnerving in the face of danger to get what she was looking for. However, this was something she had not anticipated. After all, this was something that would only happen in those cheaply-made horror movies. She gritted her teeth a bit as the blade was held at her throat, looking to kill her at any moment. This would be her biggest find if she had kept going, however, this was something she couldn't compete with. "Tch. Fine. Go ahead with your stupid curse. Probably some other trick you got also."

"Good choice." He said as he tossed the dagger off to the side as he snapped his fingers. A ball of glowing light then entered the room as it circled around the Pharaoh before landing in his palm. He then held the ball of light over her chest as he smirked then slipped the ball of light inside of her, Amanda would feel like something extra was being jammed into her body, and it only made her body feel like it was going to explode like a balloon with too much air. However as soon as the entire ball of light entered her body, she would feel light headed and would pass out.

When she would wake up, she was outside of the Pyramid as the sun was setting.
