for the honor of my family. (pony and the real raven

Theodore took the robe from his lover. The concern in the voice of the person pounding on the door worried him. Clearly Samus had returned but to what hell? Theodore rushed from his bed chamber and down the stairs of his estate only to find Elizabeth's father dealing a punishment to the old servant of twenty years. "Pray tell what are you doing sir?" he asked her father as he neared the end of the stairs.

Elizabeth peaked down the stairs and gasped seeing what was happening when her father stopped the beating to look at Theodore she hurried down helping Samus to the kitchen where she could help him a bit with his fresh wounds "oh Samus are you alright?" she asked looking worried he had become a good friend to her while she had been staying here she took a cloth and dipped in cold water spreading it over his back to help soothe the pain she hoped. "wait here I'm going to go out and try to help calm the situation." she said softly. and headed back to the entry way.

"Why is it you disrespect me in my home sir?" Theodore asked bluntly. "I have not wronged you last time I looked. I have not treated you with ill regard, so why do you feel the impulse to bring this distress into my home?" As her father spoke his true demeanor came out. "Sir I would watch your tongue in my home I do not take lightly to insults or false accusations." The sling of insults continued from her fathers lips along with threats and the like.

Elizabeth watched shaking she was afraid she knew where this was going she knew that nothing good would come of this. She looked over at Samus "Samus I don't think I will be back for a while after this is over. My father is going to make war I know it I can tell." she said softly she was afraid for Theodore. She walked out of the kitchen to Theodore's side she gently took his hand in hers. She was hoping that things would not escalate but she knew that with her father they would. She was not happy anymore she let a tear run down her cheek she just wanted things to alright she was married to the man she loved why couldn't her father be kind.

Theodore was doing his best to hold himself back that was until His lover was at his side. It was reassuring that she stayed by his side even though her own father was being a royal pain. Theodore tried once more to be calm and collected about the situation. "last chance before my hospitality ends. Be kind in my house or leave now and never return."

Her father glared at Theodore "fine I'll leave and never come back but I will be taking my daughter with me you will never seen her again" he said harshly he ordered his men to bring her to the carriage.
Elizabeth struggled with the men long enough to lean in and give Theodore a deep and passionate kiss "I love you so much I will wait for this to end if it means I can come back to you." she said tears running down her cheeks. She released Theodore she did not want him to fight in his current state. She knew he would come for her and she would gladly wait for him.

Once his lips met her's he kissed her back. That was it there was going to be war, and it was clear her father didn't deserve her. "I will be coming Elizabeth." His head turned to his father "As for you, Pray that when I come I don't leave your head on a spit at your own gate. Rally your army I'm coming with the gates of hell behind me."

Elizabeth was carried outside and put inside the carriage she didn't speak or look at either of her parents the entire trip home. She went straight to her room she slammed the door closed behind her and put on her thick night gown. She went to bed she remained there for almost a week she only moved to eat and drink nothing else. She would not starve herself and for good reason for a month later she knew that she was carrying his child. She felt ill all the time. Her mother had tried to come up and provide some comfort but Elizabeth acted like she wasn't even there. She was far away from the only man she had ever loved and feared she would never see him again.

Theodore rose from the Kings guest chambers and then dressed himself. An hour later he was before the king requesting permission to contact his friend the king of the fellow kingdom like their own. It would clearly be an act of war if Theodore were to march with his banner through the borderlands to retrieve his wife. He told his magesty about the event that took place in his home and how he had married his love, then how her father had reclaimed her for Theodore's attitude towards him. Theodore remained clam in the king's presence and hld back the anger from his voice. "My lord I would very much like to go and claim my wife from her father, but I would not beset the peace we have with our allies. If your Magesty would be so kind to arrange an audience with lord Halford I would be most gracious."

Back at her parents home she soon found she was with a child. She spent most of her time in bed resting with a few walks the servants brought her soup and bread to keep her stomach at ease. it had been at least two months since she had been torn away from the only man she'd ever loved. her mother had tried to come and comfort her but Elizabeth wouldn't even look at her mother. She hated both of them for doing this, she had done as they had asked and gotten all she'd ever wanted as well. Yet still they hurt her like this she did not understand. Her mother had begged her to end the pregnancy but she had refused.

There was a long wait period before the Nearby king decided to to listen to the request of an audience. but A few months later and the King was there meeting with them in Theodore's home land. Again Theodore went through the tedious task of recalling the story to the court and now the neighboring king. "A Man of your kingdom has stolen something very dear to me and I seek permission to gain her back. My wife is no piece of meat to let go to the dogs who have been rather cruel to separate us. I mean no offense by calling anyone under your rule a dog, but a thief is a thief mainly when it is of this stature, she is mine to do with as I see fit, and no man in this living realm has the right to take her from me."

She bribed a guard to take a letter to be delivered for her. My dear love I am sorry that my father has separated us, but there is some good news I am carrying your child. I love you so much. My mother tries to get me to end it while it grows in my womb but I refuse. I count every day I am apart from you as if it has been years. I long for your arms to be around me once more. You mean the world and more to me. I miss you so much I hope you come for me soon. I feel as if a part of me is missing. I had to bribe a guard to get this letter to you so if you write back I most likely will not ever see it I just wanted to let you know the good news that we have and that I'm thinking of you every moment.
your love
Elizabeth

she handed it to the guard this guard had always been kind to her so she was sure this would go through.

Theodore read the letter being it had come during his speaking to the other King. "And it would seem that there is more to this story Lord Srantos." He held the letter above his head. "His man has not only stolen my wife but he has Stolen my unborn child within her womb. I seek justice from your court I beg of you let me enter your kingdom and take back what is rightfully mine?" he was trying his best to reason with the neighboring king, but if he would let his ords fall on deaf ears then he would have to implore his lige lord to go to war for his beloved.

The queen watched her husband as he seemed to be ignoring this man desperate pleas. She leaned over "husband we should not be so against him he is trying to keep peace between us perhaps making this one lord unhappy would be for the better. If he would dishonored this man so much as has been politely explained to us then perhaps we should bring him his wife to him and strip this disgrace to our kingdom of his title. he represents us do we truly want that sort of reputation for allowing such things to take place after all remember how hard you fought to have me at your side. this man will go just as far. he loves her and that is a rare thing. we should not make these two suffer for the happiness of one selfish lord." she whispered softly. She gently rested her hand on his forearm and smiled at him as she relaxed in her seat.

Tension filled the air around Theodore as the Queen had leaned in to speak. The words were quiet, and in audible to his ears. The king however heard them. The expression on either of their faces had not been shown, as was the trade of most noblemen and women when in discussions. "My lord Please I implore you one more time, Allow me to claim what is mine from your kingdom. I would much rather desire a peaceful end to this contest between her father and I. I only ask that I am allowed a few escort troops no matter who's men they be, as long as they are loyal to this cause. Mine I know are with me in this as I am their lord, though I do not want it to be taken as an invasion of your kindom."

The queen looked over at her husband as he just sat there he obviously did not like this idea so she stood slowly "I will grant your request I do not want your men on our soil but I will give ten of our finest knights to see you arrive there safely. I will have a letter for you to deliver to this traitor. I say traitor because he is he has dishonored our people by creating such an impression I will not have such things taking place. If he resists too greatly you may kill him and it will not be considered an act of war. he will however be stripped of his title and his land. You may have any of his belongings that you like except his home and land. those belong to us I want you to take your wife and make sure that you are both happy and I also expect that in return for this that if we are under attack you and your men will be the first to aid us in defense. If you accept this offer I will have you set to leave in one weeks time our knights return in a couple of days I would like them to have some time with their families." she said simply. She looked over at her husband and sat down. He made no arguement since he did indeed love and respect her but he was still hesitant.

"And what is within reason should this traitor fail to be kind enough to return my bride and my child to me? He is without his land now I understand but what should happen if he were to draw a blade against my your Highness?" The question clearly wasn't without reason nor did it invoke violence in his voice. The young nobleman simply wanted to know if he had the right to defend himself. "And what of the off chance not claiming it will but what if one of your men decide I am betrayed by one of these guards because I am not of the land?"

"if he crosses blades with you then defend and if necessary kill. my men will not attack you if they do they will not breathe again if they enter these walls without you and your bride and child. I will have the best carriage I can find for you wife while she carries your child. this carriage will take you home." she said firmly "now go and rest you have a long trail ahead of you it is a weeks ride there." she said simply.

"Thank you Your highness. I shall prepare for departure with haste." He bowed to the other rulers of the court then dismissed himself from the room. He quickly made his way to his assigned chambers and went to bed. They journey would indeed be a long one from his native kingdom to the other. He was dressed as the sun came up and the journey began a few hours later. He wasn't in his normal attire he was dressed in his full light battle armor. Thieves would be along the journey for sure and it didn't help that he would be a non native royal in the land. He put his cloak on his back with his family crest red on black Dragon.

Elizabeth sat by her window staring outside the fresh air felt good on her moist skin. His child was indeed strong much like the father. She had not rested well of late or at least worse than when she first was taken. She looked terrible most of the color from her face had faded leaving her pale and ill looking. She just stared outside why did that have to happen to them she had found true happiness and then was taken from it when the union should have greatly pleased her father since he had sent her to him in the first place. She looked down and stroked her belly. She turned looking as a maid came and gently dabbed at her skin with a cool cloth it was very soothing to her but nothing could soother the pain in her heart as she waited for her husband to come for her.

Theodore sent a messenger ahead of them warning her father what his actions had caused. The message was simple. "I come to claim what is mine. My wife better be well and safe or your head you will pay!" What he didn't say was he had every right to be there. It was his intent to wound if not kill his lovers father, though the warning was clear that he wasn't going to be taken lightly let alone be someones puppet.

She heard her father yelling about something so she listened a bit more closely she over heard that her husband was coming for her she covered her mouth as tears of joy ran down her cheek. She had a maid help her with a bath and had a fresh night gown brought up to her. She was trying her best to be healthy but it was difficult. a servant brought her a dish with some vegetables, fruit, and some bread. They poured her some fresh water. she hoped to look her best when he came for her but doubted she would.

A few month went by before he was even in the kingdom but now he stood at the edge of the property on which her father owned. Again a messenger was brought forth and rode to the door of the estate. "I have arrived and I want my wife and child bring them out and you won't be harmed, but if you even resist then I shall inflict pain upon you, traitor."

Her father looked outside seeing the men that would assist him he nodded and ordered the servants to help his daughter prepare to leave. On her way out she turned to her father "some day you will come begging us for help and he will give you some because he is a by far greater than you and I hope you suffer first as much as you have made us suffer. she walked outside wearing her nightgown and a thick robe. she held her hand out towards her love hoping he would come to her.

He rode to her as she held out her arms. How he had missed her, and he knew her father was fuming with rage. He rode closer and closer to the estate only to find that it didn't look as though anyone was there save for the family. Something wasn't right bout this but he dismounted none the less Once he embraced his lover lightly in his arms he heard something that was all too fa miler to him. Quickly he turned her around to where she was facing her parents while he still held her as the arrow hit him in his right arm. His eyes showed both pain and relief that his wife was okay, but soon after rage filled them as he turned drawing his blade to quickly serve her fathers left arm from his body. "This is your only chance. You are a traitor to your country and you have nobody as your ally I would take what dignity you have left and leave. You have nothing left here so I say run best I tell your Queen what you have tried to do this day."
