Lady Ava Luna Lock walked beneath the light of the moon in the garden outside of the castle walls. Something she was discouraged to do several times by her father but in the words of her father, "A stubborn minx will can never change it's spots." Even in the middle of a war between kingdoms, a bit of fresh air never hurt anyone. Bright eyes shining in the moonlight and ebony locks cascading past her shoulders were a match to her mothers. Dawning a velvet crimson gown with a low neck line revealing mounds that every solider seemed to dream of. She was their inspiration, their muse. Before every run she would look her best and feast with the outgoing army. Never before had Ava seen the enemy but as a housed Lady with duties. What else had she to do.

The scent of flowers hung thickly in the air, roses, lilacs, and forget me nots. Upon a bench she sat gazing up at the stars as they seemed to wink back at her.

This was the first time Lord Damion had accompanied his unit for a mission; usually, he stayed behind to offer tactical support. The vampire vanished into the shadows of the trees, one of his abilities unique to being the Lord of Darkness. "I'm in position, Captain," he whispered, peeking his head out as he gazed at his mission with golden eyes: Lady Ava.

Ava looked around, she could have sworn she heard the bushes russel but only put it off as an animal. The night was upon them and she supposed she should have been getting to bed soon. She stood up from the bench but not before plucking a rose and taking a wiff of the beautiful scent. She lived in ignorant bliss and she knew it. However as far a she knew, no one would want her. Why would they? Or so she thought.

He was, for a moment, taken by her appearance, and sighed in bliss as he could just barely smell her blood... Damion nodded as the Captain signaled him to move. He moved in a blurry movement, he instantly in front of her, his golden eyes the only thing she noticed before he covered her mouth and eyes.

It was like a beautiful dream turned nightmare. One moment she's looking at the stars, the next moment revealed a breathtaking set of golden eyes as she was being....abducted? Yeah that was it, or so it seemed. The act was so quick it took a minute, if not longer, for her to realize she was no longer in her garden and that she couldn't speak.

He melted into the shadows and teleported to his castle grounds, laying Ava onto the grass and stepping back. The other vampires appeared shortly after, looking at her with a malicious smile. Damion held a neutral, calm look, unlike his comrades.

Ava felt as thought her racing heart was lodge in her throat, preventing her from saying a thing as she looked at all around her until she finally found what little courage she could to talk. "Who are you...A-and what do you want?" she asked rather nervously as her eyes stuck to those of her abductors. They were hard not to stare at.

"Your father is troublesome," Damion answered instantly, stepping forward and cracking his neck. "We planned this to have him cease his attacks on us. If not..." he said with a straight, serious face.

She gawked for a brief moment before retorting, "I have no hand in what my father is doing, I know not what he even does." she sat speechless for a moment. "W-What...is...her doing?" she was too frightened to ask.

"I'm guessing your father loves you very much. Who wouldn't love their own daughter?" Damion asked, then looked at one of his subordinates, and he vanished. "He's going to send word that you were kidnapped. If he doesn't do what we want, I will kill you." he said. Even as Damion said it, he regretted the thought of killing such a beautiful human like her, but he if he was forced...

Oh how Ava had vowed that she would not panic but her true colors had shown when a tear escaped down those soft kissable cheeks. What had her father done for them to do such a thing. Her eyes could no longer take the sight of them as she concentrating on stilling her now aching heart. Lost for words she no longer hand.

His dead heart ached with pain as he saw her cry. Damion composed himself and beckoned her to stand up. "Come; I have a room for you. If you do not take my offer, I will force into the lower levels." he warned. The lower levels were where some of the most filthy and disgusting things happened: rape, slave training, and dungeons.

The Lady quickly composed herself before she stood up and took the man of his off and followed him. In silence she continued to walk. There was no way she was getting away and she knew that. Lord knows what her father would do once her found her missing. As for now she had to stay calm. She didn't even know who these people were, but one thing was for sure, she was not going to act like a sniveling little girl but the Lady she was raised to be.

Damion led her to the castle halls, avoiding the main throne room and guided her to the room he had prepared for her arrival. Opening the door, he beckoned her inside. It was plain, but a few things were in the room; a bed, a mirror, and what looked like a closet full of clothes.

Ava had a lingering pain in her chest where her heart once resided. She sat upon the bed, not facing the door as she simply sat there without a word. She didn't even know where she was. Finally she spoke. "Who are you?" she asked as she turned to face her captor.

Damion resisted the strong urge to glamor her to make her do whatever he wanted, and said nothing for a moment. "My name is Damion Battosai, the Lord of Darkness in this land. What I am should be clear," he said, his pale skin and his abilities making it clear for her.

No more crying Ava, I could have been worse.... She sighed softly and tore her eyes away. "Well Lord Damion....is there anything else you wish of me, or shall I be granted some privacy?" she asked softly but kindly. The last thing she wanted to do was piss him off and be drained.

Damion thought for a moment before answering, "Yes. We're having dinner in a few hours. I will send someone to see if you'd like to come," he said gently, looking at her in awkwardness.

"So be it." she nodded. Walking over to the vanity and taking up a hair tie and tying back her shining black locks and began looking through the closet of clothes as she selected something and began unlacing her corset until she looked at him. "If you wouldn't mind?" she said waiting for him to leave.

Damion coughed, realizing his mistake, and chuckled nervously. "Oh, yeah, sorry." he quickly vanished from the hall and entered the dining room to prepare the food with the servants.

Ava got dressed in a gold and white corset top gown. It was better than wearing her now dirty clothes and she needed the food. Unfortunately it was the most modest dress she could find. Obvious that a man probably had a say in its choosing. She sat before the vanity tending to her hair, trying to make it decent, but not perfect. It wasn't as if it was a special occasion.

He loved to make food, and so he led the efforts in making the best food possible. Despite kidnapping Ava, he wanted her to be as comfortable as possible; he was the only one during the council meeting to deny it, but even with his status, he was overridden.

A few hours later, a servant came to Ava's room to notify her of dinner, and where it was located.

With a soft sigh she was escorted to a hall with a beautiful dining table and place settings. It was had to feel as though she was being abducted. She stood in awe before the beautiful architecture of the castle. However, the comforting welcome couldn't still her heavy beating her.

Damion entered the dining hall, cleaning off his hands as he saw her. His white dress shirt was splashed with various stains of spices and liquids. He noticed her dress and smiled, then his own clothes and chuckled nervously. He waved his fanned out hand, small specks of black trailing along when he muttered a word. Slowly, Darkness engulfed his shirt, then vanished. A clean shirt was on his body as he walked towards her.

Ava was slowly circling the table and observing the details of the layout when she noticed him. Damion. She wasn't sure as to where she should sit. Her emerald eyes observed him from head to toe. He was a real piece of work, handsome, yes but why would she think of the handsomeness of her captor. Her soft pink lips remained silent and she watched him approach.
