F.A.Q.

• How much do you write?

  Usually 2–3 paragraphs, though I can write upwards of 5–6 if necessary. My post length tends to fluctuate depending on the scene, e.g. I my provide shorter posts if a particular scene is conversation-heavy, as I do not like the story to get ahead of itself. Continuity is important.
• How often do you write?

  Most days. Some weeks I will be online every day, but at other times I should still be online 3–4 days per week.
• In what tense/person do you write?

  Third person, past tense. I can write in other ways, but this is my preferred method.
• What do you expect from a partner?

  A lot! Literacy, no spelling or grammatical errors, believable characters. Our posts should flow naturally from one to the other as though you were reading a book. I expect the same of your posts in and of themselves. We should be writers more than role players.
• Where do you write?

  On the forums.
• What time zone are you on?

  G.M.T.

About Me
I'm looking for detail-orientated writers to collaborate with on erotic fiction. This means that all characters and scenes in my stories should be believable. The sex is going to happen, so there is no need to make characters behave in an unrealistic/inconsistent manner in order to move the story towards something sexy.

I enjoy character roleplay, which means I will write for my character/s, and you write for yours. I have no issue with partners responsibly inserting small actions for my character/s (e.g. stating that my character exits a vehicle when it's obvious that that needs to happen), but I do not like decisions being made on behalf of my character/s. No god-moding please.

Finally, I like my stories to be structured. This means that I like to take things one scene at a time, and discuss via PM what the next scene should be, how we should set it up, etc. This doesn't mean we have to plan everything out from the beginning, just that I find having some structure to the story makes for a better final product.

About You
I may repeat here some of what I wrote in the F.A.Q. section, but given some recent experiences I feel it is important to elaborate on what I look for in a partner. I am very particular about who I write with, and whilst this may make me seem difficult to some, I would like to think that it makes me a more worthwhile partner to those few who think and write the way I do.

My ideal writing partner would describe themselves more as a writer than as a role player. He would have a knack for detail, but also an awareness of the back and forth that is inherent to collaborative writing. In my view, this often manifests itself as detailed but concise entries. I average three to four paragraphs per post, depending on the circumstances. If a scene is conversation-heavy, it is often necessary to keep posts relatively short so that you or I can respond without the conversation getting ahead of itself. A negative example of this would be when a character says one thing that may elicit a response from another character, and then goes on to say something else in the same post that also elicits a response. If these two utterances create two separate strands of conversation, the scene can become very muddled.

I also expect posts to flow smoothly, both in and of themselves, and from one post to the next. Some people have a knack for this, some don't, but I find that if consecutive posts cannot be read together as though one were reading a book, the whole experience becomes kind of jarring and discombobulated. THE FALL
