Rain fell from the heavens as a storm brewed on the horizon. The tears of a thousand angels fell upon the earth as if they knew what was about to take place. A black sedan with blacked out windows drove slowly across the deserted dock. It was 3:23am and still dark. Comeing to a halt at a secluded section of the dock the drivers side door opened whilst the engine continued to run. From the drivers door came Luca Scavo, a Sicilian whom had only been in the United States for a month. Luca Scavo (27) was a notorious hitman back in Sicily whom worked for Don Gino Mancini. Luca had been found to be responsible for numerous murders by the Sicilian and Italian authoritys so Don Mancini had him discreetly immigrated to America with the help of a old freind Don Vinchenzo Guilliano. Now in America, Luca has continued to do his dirty deeds for the Guilliano Family. Luca stood around 6'3" with a strong build. His black hair was shaven short and his face clean shaven beneath a black three hole balaclava. His eyes were a beep choclate brown and his flesh was tanned a healthy bronze. Dressed simply in a black leather jacket, black shirt, black leather gloves, black trousers and black boots. Luca walked to the back of the car and opened the trunk. Inside was a young girl only 19, with a sack over her face and her mouth gagged she had no idea where she was and couldnt even scream for help. Without a care Luca pulled her from the trunk and stood her on bare feet on the cold wet concrette. With his right hand on the girls right shoulder his left hand closed the trunk of the car before reaching into his jacket and unholstering a Glock-19 pistol. The barrel of the pistol was soon pushed against the girls lower back. "Walk!.." Luca ordered the kid still holding her right shoulder with his right hand he walked her at gun point towards the edge of the dock. round the girls wiast was a satchel weighted by a couple of bricks. The girls muffled crys could barely be heard as the rain battered the landscape. The storm grew in forocity and the tide rised and the waters thrashed against the dock. He let go of her shoulder and the guns barrel soon moved to the back of her head. Without a thought Luca pulled the trigger, the sound of the shot coupled with the storm would go unnoticed. The girls body fell forward with a loud splash as she sank and was swept away. Luca put his gun away and turned back towards his car.

As he entered the car he closed the door behind him before removeing his balaclava. The sound of the rain hitting the roof of the car was the only sound. He then pulled out his cell phone and called Giuseppe Guilliano (32), the son of Don Vinchenzo Guilliano. Meanwhile at the Guilliano estate, Giuseppe Guilliano was patiantly awaiting a call in his father's office. As soon as the phone rang Giuseppe was quick to answer it, after all it was 3:45am and he didnt want to wake his Father nor did he want anyone to hear this convosation.
"its done.." Luca informed Giuseppe simply. A evil smirk slid across the Giuseppe's almost rat like face. "That little bitch should never have fucked with me!.." Giuseppe replied, the girl had been sleeping with Giuseppe for almost a year now and had began to ask questions about his family and even demand money. "Good job, I will see you later at the meeting..." Giuseppe added before hanging up. Giuseppe stood around 5'9" with a avarage build for his age. His lack hair was short and his face needed a shave. His eyes were brown. Giuseppe was clad simply in a pair of black slacks and a white shirt with a tie un tied and hanging around his neck and the sleeves rolled up. Giuseppe left the room and made his way back to his bedroom.

Later that day 1:42pm, Luca arrived at the Guilliano via a taxi. Once through the guarded gate Luca joined other members of the 'family'. The men gathering outside while the more senior and high ranking members were inside with the Don. Don Vinchenzo Guilliano (69) sat at his desk in his office whilst accompanied by his son Giuseppe along with the family Consiglerie and the family Capos. Don Vinchenzo Guilliano stood around 5'7" with a slightly overweight build. His short white hair was badly receeding and was acompanied by a grey pencil mustash. His brown eyes were bordered by apair of reading glasses whilst he read other a few documents. He was clad smartly in a black suite with a white shirt and red tie. Giuseppe was dressed in a simmilar suit on he work no tie and the top three buttons of his shirt were undone. Outside Luca stood with Enforcers, Soldatos and Made Men who all awaited to speak with their respected superiors.

It had not been until her thirteenth birthday, that Francesca Magdalena Guilliano had realized that her family was different than the other kid’s at school. For one, her family was not only consisted of those related by blood to her…She had numerous Uncle’s that bore no actual kinship to her, yet still doted upon her as if they were branches of the same family tree. Her family also was very wealthy, but that was not such a rarity was it? They had a huge estate, a private orchard, horse barns and even a private flight path…but money had not been the scrutinizing difference. Perhaps the moment of enlightenment had been in middle school, when her history teacher had given her a B+ on her paper, ruining the entirety of her perfect grades since she had first entered school…Well, when Daddy’s Princess had come home with tears streaming down her face, Vinchenzo had assured his little girl that things would be taken care of…

The next day, a very pale and shaking teacher apologized and quickly changed the grade in his book to an A; claiming he had been very tired reading the night before and had mistakenly given her another students grade..While this had pleased Francesca immensely, it seemed odd that her teacher had chosen to retire at the end of that school week…He had only been in his early thirties at the time, and no one had ever seen him again…

For the next nine years of her life Francesca accelerated in her studies, graduating at the top of her class, and as a proficient in both voice and violin. No more teachers had vanished, but every year during the first role call they seemed to stutter upon her surname. It had grown more and more amusing, the more she learned about her family’s…heritage, so to speak. Now at twenty two, Francesca had graduated from nursing school; a degree acquired to make hospital visits for any injured ‘family’ member less necessary…It never was good to send one of the boys there, they always asked too many questions. Francesca would simply scoff at a man’s idiocy and hurt his pride more than the actual wound she was tending. She had also pursued nursing in order to help take care of her father, who was getting up in age and refused medical help from any doctor save from an old family friend who was older than he was!

The storm had woken her early that morning, but not enough to encourage her to get out of bed. It had been around 4 in the morning, and though she had heard footsteps in the hall, she convinced herself that if it was someone trying to break in they had a lot of balls…which would more than likely end up strewn across the carpet when someone found him. Francesca remained out of sight for most of the day, coming down once to eat breakfast with her father and brother (whom was in a rather suspiciously cheerful mood) before returning to her room to practice a new concerto she was preparing for her father’s 70th birthday. When the time for the meeting came around, she descended the grand staircase, dressed in a tight black dress which had a swooping v-neck, showing off her more than modest bust. The skirt of the dress ending midway down her thighs, the short length giving emphasis to her lean, tall figure. The dress had an deep scarlet red-over corset, which further accented the lovely curves of Francesca’s body. She wore a pair of tight knee high black boots with a three inch stiletto heel, walking gracefully through the halls as if she was floating. Cesca had been wearing heels since she was five…they were much more comfortable than flats, and much more appropriate for a lady, according to her father.

Her long black curls cascaded down her back, bouncing slightly -with the same perk as her breasts- as she walked down the hall, hips swaying elegantly with each step. Smokey make up around her hazel-green eyes, red gloss to her lips, blush upon her high cheek bones and an elegant diamond near collar like necklace around her neck..She was certainly a sight to behold..Certainly, a mafia princess.

As she passed by the gathering of men outside the meeting room they nodded their heads and gave rather meek hellos..Save for one man who was close to the wall..He must have been that Sicilian that Giuseppe had hired. Francesca glanced at him curiously, but paid no further attention, walking into the meeting room to be greeted by a-near choir of old Italian men going “Ahh, bella!” as they clasped their hands together as if Mother Mary herself had appeared. Smiling sweetly, Francesca exchanged embraces with each of her father’s close friends, politely complimenting them as she made her way around the table.

Antonio Porello, the family’s Consiglerie and Don Vinchenzo’s friend from the old country, chuckled a bit as he patted the man two years his senior on the shoulder. Antonio had been slowly losing his eye sight after a recent stroke, but he could still see Francesca as clear as day as she walked to him and hugged him close. “How you keep-a so sweet bambina eh?” He grinned as Francesca smiled elegantly, moving to stand behind her father, kissing his forehead softly. “Well I suppose it helps that I rarely leave the house…” She said with a tone almost bitter sweet, her eyes slightly narrowing as she glanced up to her elder brother. She would have swallowed her pride for a moment and embrace him regardless of feeling slightly bitter that he was helping to keep hold of the key on her cage..but she noticed the time..1:59.

He was late.

He was never late.

Turning to face Giuseppe fully, a hand on the back of their father’s chair, her lovely plump lips pursed slightly. “Where the hell is Sal, Giuseppe…”

The atmosphere of the room changed as Francesca arrived. All talk of business soon stopped after all the business side to the family was a mans world. With the talk of business over all attention fell on Francesca. Though when she mentioned Sal a awkward silence took over the room. One or two of the Capos left the room nodding respectfully to the Don as they left. Giuseppe looked to his Sister but didnt speak, he simply looked to his Father. Don Vinchenzo remianed silent and was quick to tell the rest of his Capos to leave with a wave of his hand towards the door. Soon they all left as requested though as always Antonio was an exception and stayed. "Sal, is gone my dear." Vinchenzo replied to her simple without a care for the mans life. Giuseppe grinned, after all Sal's attention to Francesca was not acceptable. "Yeah your little fuck buddy is on ice!" Giuseppe added with a sadistic grin, the thought of any man touching his Sister made him angry after all it wasnt long ago Giuseppe attacked a valet for takeing her hand as she got out of a limo. Giuseppe had a temper, though at the same time he was a coward who was lucky to have a small army of men to do his dirty work. "GIUSEPPE!.." Vinchenzo shouted as he stood up and looked onto his son in disgust. Vinchenzo didnt take kindly to his son's choice of words. With a knock at the door Luca entered the room, at the wrong moment. "And heres the iceman himself!.." Giuseppe added still grinning sadistically, Luca froze and looked to Giuseppe then Vinchenzo in confusion. "Get out of my office Giuseppe! You too Luca!.." Vinchenzo said in low angered voice before grabbing his chest breifly and groaning in pain before sitting down. Giuseppe looked to his Father in concern but as his Fathers gaze upon him was still filled with anger he took his leave, pushing Luca out the door and takeing him with him. Vinchenzo's blood pressure had risen due to Giuseppes outbursts. He breathed heavilly for a moment as he tryed to calm down, he reached for a glass of water that sat on his desk and drank it fast.

The doot slammed behind them leaveing Vinchenzo, Francesca and Antonio alone. Side by side Giuseppe walked down the hallway with Luca. As they goth further away from Vinchenzo, Giuseppe's temper grew. Soon they were outside of the house and for no reason he kicked one of the meny cars which sat parked up outside the house. Its alarm began to blare getting the attention of all those around.
"Ah, shit!" Giuseppe cried as the pain suddnely kicked in. Luca watched in still confused at to what had happened in the room. He stayed close to Giuseppe and followed him as he walked over to a bench and sat down. "Are you ok?." Luca asked in a thick Sicillian accent, his english was pretty limited and he was still very knew to how things were in America. After all Giuseppe wouldnt have dared speak infront of his Father like that back in the old country. Giuseppe then pulled out his ciggerettes which came in a golden tin with the family crest engraved onto it. He also pulled out a matching lighter and was quick to put a expensive ciggerette into his mouth and spark it up without offering one to Luca. "I need a drink!..." Giuseppe growled as he got up from his seat and walked back to the house leaveing Luca alone.

Luca had killed Sal a few days ago. The order came from Don Vinchenzo himself after Giuseppe had found out what was going on between him and Francesca. Sal was set up, his own crew were in on the hit and even arrange for him to be at club they ran. During the day whilst the club was only occupied by a few of Sal's men he arrived and came face to face with Luca. the doors were locked and all around him his own men turned on him. Vinchenzo had requested something special for Sal. He was tied to a chair and beated with brass knuckles and baseball bats by his own crew. Then Luca took and knife and cut of his cock which he then forced down his throat to suffocate him. Vinchenzo wanted to send message. The body was later taken to some waste ground and burned, by Luca. Luca was both mercyless and loyal.

“Gone?!” Francesca’s eyes widened, fire igniting within those pretty hazel-green orbs. She had seen her father and brother go mental over her desire for other men in her life besides them…Giuseppe had even gone so far as to attack their driver, who was simply being courteous and helping her out of the limo on a windy day. In Francesca’s opinion, it was absolutely ridiculous. She was perfectly capable of handling herself, not being weak in the slightest definition of the word. She knew how to fire a gun, where to touch a man to render him helpless…She had even knocked her older brother to the ground once..but that was not truly a big accomplishment, Giuseppe wasn’t the strongest of men..

His smile was pissing her off, and it took all of her strength not to lunge at him and send her perfectly manicured nails to claw at his lanky face! As he continued to gloat, that Sicilian entered the room, being immediately pointed out as the man whom had helped Sal not to be here tonight…or any other night for that matter.

Gone was gone. Departed. Dead. Finito.

Tears glimmering in her eyes, not for any love of Sal whom had really just been refreshing company for her, but for the fact that yet again the bars upon her cage had strengthened. She felt herself suffocating within the walls of her own home! She would have gone after Giuseppe, had their father not started to groan…Immediately Francesca’s rage towards the situation melted as she returned to her father’s side, placing her hand over his gently, her eyes turning immediately to concern. “Papa?” She knelt down, grasping his hand still as Giuseppe and his new goon sulked out of the office. Antonio, whom had watched the scene play out exactly how he had imagined it, took the Don’s medication from the first drawer and offered it to him before the man took down the glass of water.

“Giuseppe has-a quite a tongue on him eh…I cannot-a figure out if it is-a worse than-a his temper..” he chuckled somewhat, sitting down in the leather chair beside the desk, his back cracking slightly as he patted Don Vinchenzo’s back. “’Ey..You gonna be-a okay Vinnie?” He tilted his head, the wrinkles in his face creasing a bit deeper, “ ’Cesca, get-a your papa some scotch.”

Francesca stood up after her father had composed himself, shaking her head, a scowl still on her pretty face. “I’ll fix you your tea Papa..” She sighed somewhat as she walked out of the office. Antonio sighed somewhat, leaning back in his chair as he brought his hand up to stroke his thin white beard. "What-are you-a gonna do about your kids Vinnie.." He mused, a question that truly could be asked of any parent.

Mafia families weren't so different really...

Though her heart was still aching thinking of what torment Sal had gone through because of her, she could not upset her father…With his blood pressure and Giuseppe constantly hindering him, Francesca feared that an ill word from her may ultimately do the Don in. She loved her father, dearly…Enough to know that the true instigator behind this had stormed his way outside and had no doubt caused the car alarm that was blaring to go off. As Giuseppe made his way inside, Francesca snatched the cigarette from his hand and sharply slapped her brother before shoving at his shoulders, glaring heatedly at him. She was quite shorter than him, but from her posture and her stance, it seemed that she believed herself much bigger…Francesca wasn’t in the slightest bit frightened of her brother, and more often than not he used his charm to sway his way back into her favor..but not tonight (or so she had convinced herself)

“What the hell is wrong with you Giuseppe??” She hissed, putting out the cigarette in one of the rose vases, dousing it in the water before flicking it out the open door. “I told you to stop fucking spying on me!” She narrowed her eyes, hands upon her hips now which caused her back to curve, her breasts now all the more on display, “Did Sal brag to you? Is that it? About how he was a fucking gentleman to me?! God I can’t stand you!” She glared, storming away from him and out into the gardens where Luca stood.

“And you!” The sound of her boots clicking upon the smooth stone walkway was elegant yet intense for a lady of graceful stature “How dare you..How fucking dare you!” Emotion had gotten the best of her..She should have known that a hit, especially an imported hit, would not have known anything about Sal or her…Only what he was told to do for his job. But regardless of this, Francesca still saw Sal’s blood on his hands, and she couldn’t get the man’s suffering image out of her mind..His anguished face…him whispering her name into her ear…pleading for her…Her own palms were pushing against the taller man’s chest as tears streamed down her face, with the same strength of a feather against a mountainside… “You fucking killed him!…” She sobbed, falling to her knees onto the cold ground before the Sicilian man, her head bowed into her hands..

Such was the life…

She should have known..

Vinchenzo continued to relax himself as h began to feel faint, his doctor had warned him about getting too angry. He had also warned him about his alcahol consumption. With Antonio's offer, Vinchenzo shook his head. "No, no.." He replied whilst out of breath slightly. He was ok, he was just haveing a mild attack. Vinchenzo was quick to take the medication, unscrewing the bottle cap he popped a couple of pills before reclining once again in his chair as he relaxed. He looked to his Daughter as she called to him and he smiled weakly, he was old and weak and even though he treated his daughter almost like a trophy he needed her. "Grazie il mio caro..." The old man replied gratefully in his native tongue as Francesca left to make him some tea. As she left the room the bottle of scotch was soon to appear from a cupboard in his desk as was a couple of expensive cuban cigars. Filling two glasses, Vinchenzo passed one to his old freind along with a cigar. Once the cigar was in Antonio's mouth Vinchenzo lit it for him with a lighter simmilar to Giuseppe's. With the question about his kids asked, Vinchenzo sighed and shook his head before sipping at his scotch and takeing a drag from his cigar. "They are out of control I know!... Francesca, needs a husband!.. and I have a man in mind whom should hopefully keep her hormones under control aswell as be asset to the family.." Vinchenzo explained, he planned for his Daughter to marry the son of a another Don. Don Leonardo Moretti's family had always been a equal to Vinchenzo's family and at times a rival. The rivalry had spanned many decades and had left many young men dead. Vinchenzo's plan is to bring peace to both familys before he dies. "Giovanni Moretti, the only son of Don Leonardo Moretti is to be her husband. With this unity we will bring peace to our familys and a end to the blood shed that has bloodied the streets of this city for many years!..." Vinchenzo explained to Antonio in private, Vinchenzo was confident this would go no further than this room. Only Vinchenzo, Antonio and Leonardo knew of this plan.

Giuseppe was stood at the bar in the house along with a few of Sal's old crew and a few other of the family's goons. As Francesca entered there was laughter and jokeing but as soon as Francesca entered everything went silent once again. "What the fuck?!" Giuseppe growled as she stole his ciggerette. Her ranting gave him no chance to respond though as she left the room he raised his hand as if the slap her. "Vaffanculo!" He shouted to her, telling her to go fuck her self in his father's native tongue. Giuseppe may have italian blood and heritage but he was no less an american wannabe gangster whose only strength came from his family. Once she was out of sight he returned to the bar. "Come on you assholes get drinking!.." He shouted and soon the laughing and jokeing continued. Sal being the joke. "So he cut of his dick and shoved it down his throat!..." Said one of Sal's old goos who witnessed the killing.

Luca sat patiantly outside, he had nothing to do and expected to be given some sort of work today. His attention soon fell upon the firey brunette who marched over to him. Luca looked to her in confusion, not only did he not understand half the things she said but he didnt see why she was upset. After all to him Sal was just another job. As he sat on the bench and she began to push him he got even more confused. If she wasnt who she was he would have happily hit her for pushing him but he knew better. As she fell to her knees before him he looked down to her still confused. "Bella, why you cry-huh?" He asked simply, he knew nothing of what Sal had done to deserve death nor who Francesca really was. He had only just met her. Other low ranking members of the family watched her from all sides, hushed voices chatted about her and looked on her like a audiance. Luca looked around him at all the men watching and then looked down to Francesca. He slowly stood up and as he did he took hold of her arms and helped her to her feet. "Come now, your makeing a scene..." He added as he started to feel uncomftable with her on her knees and crying infront of him. If she wasnt who she was he would have gladly walked away.

Antonio chuckled a bit, leaning back in his seat as he took a long drag of the cigar. Smoke escaping the broken corners of his mouth, pouring over his old chapped lips as he listened to the Don’s plan of establishing unity through this proposed marriage. “Just like-a the old country, eh?” He chortled a bit, tapping the ashes onto a tray on the table before taking a sip of scotch. Sons ran the business, daughters helped preserve it…Everyone had their role. Amongst the numerous issues of the American Cosa Nostra, was that people were trying to forget their roles…Sons no longer wanted to take over the family business, not Giuseppe though, that boy was waiting with bated breath for his old man to die…Daughters were trying to escape from the families grasp, choosing their own husbands and pursuing career paths that brought no benefit home at all. Francesca had done well so far, a dutiful daughter in every way, save for the issue of marriage…

The Consiglerie slid his tongue against the back of his teeth, a sharp clicking noise as he tasted the last bit of scotch on his tongue. “When are you gonna tell-a Francesca? So soon after you knock-a Sal off? Ah, mi scuzi Don, so soon-a after Luca knock-a him off. Speakin’ of, you think it-a good idea to keep Sicilian around Giuseppe? They no tolerate-a lot of-a bullshit” He chuckled, saying this with utmost fondness and jest as he took another drag on his cigar. Antonio was Consiglerie for a reason after all, and was perhaps the only man who could live after criticizing the Don’s children. He did this not out of anything ill, but in order to help further the family.

They couldn’t have the branches weakening after all..

Francesca meanwhile, was uncaring of the distant crowd who were more fearful than sympathetic at seeing the Don’s daughter in tears. It was never a good thing when Cesca cried…Someone usually ended up dead... Well, in this case someone already was, but nevertheless someone would pay…The feeling of his hands upon her arms soothed her slightly..He was strong, but not like the other few whom had ever touched her..Not even like Sal, whom had been rather strong for being several years older than her brother, but nothing like this man..His voice was silky; she could feel his words caressing across her entire body. For a moment, her aching heart seemed to stir, before writhing again as the man dared to question why she was crying. “Why..” She almost laughed as she stood up straight, tears sparkling still on her lovely face as she looked up at the man. Was he really ignorant of his crime, or was he just that fucking dense. “Why? Go ask my rat faced brother why!” She removed the mans hands from her arms, her plump red lips quivering slightly as her thin brows narrowed angrily at the imported hit “You tell Giuseppe that I’m fucking done with him..and I mean it this time,” Her entire body felt as if it was falling apart as she stormed back into the house, without another word to the Sicilian whose hands she could still feel upon her arms…

He had not held her firmly by any means, not enough to bruise her fair skin, but he had touched her..And despite her age, it was rare for anyone to ever be permitted to touch her...

Fire burning in her eyes and upon the tip of her tongue, she prepared her father’s tea, as well as a cup for Antonio, and walked back to his office, sighing in a tone much like a dissatisfied wife as she saw the scotch on the table. “Papa! Nun si po alcohol!” She set the tea down in front of her father and took the already empty glasses as well as the bottle of scotch, replacing them in her father’s private liquor cabinet, which she was quite keen on buying a lock for. After they were stored away, she walked back to his desk and sat down in the chair by Antonio, crossing her legs elegantly, seeming very worn out despite the early hour of the afternoon..

"do not worry my freind, I will wait for the right moment to tell her.. and for gods sake speak nothing of this matter to my son or anyone else!.." Vinchenzo replied in a stern manner, very rarely he rose his voice to Antonio but these rare occasions often were the result of Giuseppe angering the old man. "As for the Scilian he has earned his keep, he is ver skilled and shows no mercy!.. His loyalty is true!.. my old freind Don Gino Mancini is a man of honour and would never do me wrong!.." Vinchenzo continued by defending Luca. After all in the past finding a good Hitman was hard, some would often take bribes from their targets in exchange for their lifes. Others would eventually slip up and end up in jail or in the river. Luca was 100% Sicilian, he had not been tainted by the ways of America like most of the family and espacially Giuseppe and Francesca. Luca had learned the hardships of life and was taken in by Don Gino Mancini after his parents were killed when their restuarant was bomb.

Respectfully Luca remained silent as Francesca continued to shout at him. To him he had done nothing wrong, Luca had been brought up by devote roman catholic parants to him every person he killed was a sinner. Hell he had even killed a preist once after confessing to his crimes. As Francesca went back to the house, Luca sat for a moment trying to figure out what was her problem. Eventually he gave up thinking and stood up before makeing his way back to the house. Soon he joined, Giuseppe who in a drunken stuper greeted him with open arms. "Hey! Its the iceman!.." He shouted as he threw a arm around Luca's shoulder and hung of him with a bottle of scotch in his other hand. Luca looked down to Giuseppe and shook his head. To Luca Giuseppe was nothing, unfortunatly he was his boss. A man who seemed content in liveing the American dream whilst playing the italian mafioso. Giuseppe continued to laugh and joke as he hung of Luca shoulder. Luca wished he was back in the old country, it was a shame there were witnesses whom saw him deliver a colombian necktie to a colombian drug dealer who was pushing his filth on Don Mancini streets. The victims neck was cut and his tongue pulled out through the wound, hanging like a tie. This was Don Mancini's message to the Colombians to stay out of Sicily. Though with it takeing place in the street there were far to many witnesses to 'take care of' some even women and children. The two groups Luca would never kill, well that was untill he met Giuseppe Guilliano a man who's brains appeared to be in his cock.

As Francesca returned to her Father's office the convosation once again ended. Business was never discussed infront of a women, it was not her place to know what was going on. Vinchenzo's late wife spent her entired married life wondering what her husband was up too. A loveing smile replaced the frown on Vinchenzo's face as his daughter joined them once more with tea. As the scotch was taken from him he did not protest he merely continued to smile. "Just like her dear sweet Mother, always takeing care of me.." Vinchenzo said to Antonio before makeing the crucifix with his hand; touching his forehead, then stomach then each shoulder before kissing his hand. A single tear welled in his left eye, it had only been a year since his wife Maria lost her battle to cancer. He stubbed out what remained of his cigar into his ash tray before takeing the cup of tea and sipping it slowly. To behonest he prefered the scotch but had no intention to make his daughter worry. He casually wiped away the tear from his eye before smiling and nodding to Francesca. "Grazie il mio dolce.." He thanked her simply as he began to once again relax and the pain in his chest had gone.

“The only-a other person I talk to with such things is to a God my friend, and he already-a knows what is been and what is to come..” He nodded, though he understood Don Vinchenzo’s need for such stern words..Giuseppe would no doubt throw a fit at Francesca’s marriage to anyone, but young Giovanni was not exactly Giuseppe’s greatest friend. They were future Don’s, so they had to tolerate one another for now…but it had been some time since such an arrangement between families were made. The Guilliano’s and the Moretti’s feud had been one that was almost as old as the Mafiosa in this areas’ existence. Something had to be done, no doubt. Antonio however knew, as well as anyone else whom knew the girl, that Francesca had tasted the life of a modern woman, and would no doubt resist an arranged marriage to any man,…

“As for a the Sicilian, if you-a trust him, I will as-a well. Your judgment has always-a been true” He nodded, taking another drag on his cigarette as Francesca entered. He chortled softly again as the girl took away their scotch, chastising them both in such a maternal fashion. The Consiglerie made the motion of the crucifix along with his Don at the mention of the late Maria Guilliano. Such a beautiful woman, a bit curious, but other than that she was the epitome of what a wife should be. “Dio riposa la sua anima..” Her daughter had certainly taken on the responsibilities of her mother without question. Francesca made certain her father kept with his pills, and tried her best to keep an eye on his diet...Though keeping a man from his bacon in the morning was certainly not a pretty sight. Typically, Cesca said nothing..but when she said nothing, it was far worse when she actually made a comment..Italian women were quite famous for striking silent daggers with a slight quirk of their brow, and Francesca was no exception.

She leaned over her father and kissed his forehead again, placing her hand atop of his arm gently as he began to slightly tear up at the thought of her mother. “Perche ti amo Papa..” she smiled, stroking his cheek affectionately as he sipped at the tea. She had sensed an important conversation had been halted by her presence, so she started towards the door slightly smiling, for the moment allowing the situation about Sal to pass for the sake of her father’s heart..

“Drink your tea Papa, and you too Antonio!” She smiled beautifully over her shoulder, Antonio raising the cup to her to show he would do so, before exiting the room and walking down towards the bar where she could hear Giuseppe’s obnoxious laughter; louder than the blaring bass from the speakers hooked up around the house. The sound made that smile vanish entirely from her pretty lips, sending her skin into a crawling fit. Clearly, the older members of the family had departed, as the sound pulsing through the speakers was more suitable for a club than any proper gathering. As Francesca opened the door to the bar and billiards room of the Guilliano estate, a wave of smoke came in her direction. She waved her hand in front of her face somewhat, walking into the room filled with men in clean pressed suits and poised postures...All save for her brother, who was slumped around the Sicilian’s neck with an empty bottle in his hand...Though it would have pleased her immensely to just leave the idiot here to wake up coated in his own vomit, the Capos would be returning in the morning to receive assignments, and if Giuseppe had not made it up the stairs before passing out, the sight of his only son and heir laid out on the recently steamed carpet would not go over well at all with Don Vinchenzo, whose patience and health were wearing thin enough already.

“Giuseppe..” She sighed somewhat, though rather amused at just how uncomfortable the Sicilian man looked with her brother as a pendant around his neck. “Lupi…” She sighed, biting her tongue on the word as she walked over and gently took the empty bottle from his hand, setting it on the counter. After glaring at the barkeep, whom had obviously tried to tell the Boss’ son he’d had enough, Francesca moved her hands against her brother’s face calmly, stroking his cheek as she forced a smile. “Why don’t I walk you upstairs Lupi…your new friend can come too.” She said, smiling oh so sweetly up to Luca. She wasn’t about to carry Giuseppe’s heavy ass all the way upstairs alone like she usually had to do, as he would lash out at anyone else who tried to touch him…However he seemed to be clinging to this man already, and if this Sicilian hit was so keen on blindly doing her brother’s dirty work without question, he could take part in a fraction of the shit she had to put up with on a daily basis.

As his Daughter left the room, Vinchenzo waited a moment before pulling a gold plated hip flask from his inside jacket pocket and poured a drop or two of bourbon into his tea before offering the flask to Antonio. "What she dosnt know cant hurt her.." Vinchenzo said with a devious smile, after all it seemed to be the way things were with both his late wife and daughter whom he kept many secrets from. He then continued to drink his tea happily enjoying the added kick it now had. It had seemed the day had been wasted with the meetings put on hold now till tomorrow due to his childrens little preformance. Though another relaxing day didnt seem to bother the old man.

Giuseppe hung from Luca as though he was on the edge of a cliff, in his drunken stuper gravity seemed to be his enemy. Hearing his sister call his name he ignored her, though with her calling him by his pet name he couldnt help but turn to face her. As he tryed to turn Luca had to move him. Though Giuseppe was to far gone to even respond to his sister he looked on to her contently, something deep in his memory sparked as he remembered how she called him Lupi as a child. Luca watched Francesca as she took away the bottle and then spoke of taking Giuseppe to bed. Luca was releived to be able to get rid of Giuseppe and waisted no time in escorting hum upstairs to his room as he followed Francesca. Luca was used to carrying bodys around and in Giuseppe's state he was no different to a stiff. As they entered the room Luca carefully laid Giuseppe on the bed with a sigh. Giuseppe lay back on the bed and it wasnt too long until he was snoring away.

Luca shook his head, he never had the time for drunks. he would have rather punched Giuseppe than carry him to bed. As he stood alone with Francesca and her unconcous brother, his mind wondered on what he should do now. He came here today to get some work and it seemed he would have the day off. Luca's eyes discreetly admired Francesca whilst he kept his usual dead pan persona, not a single emotion evident on his face. Luca began to feel uncomftable being alone with the Daughter of the Don whilst a awkward silence seemed to fill the room which was only broken from time to time by Giuseppe's snoring.

Francesca carried as much as her brother’s weight as the Sicilian allowed her too, though he seemed like he was ready to pick up the drunken man and toss him anywhere he could get away with it judging by the speed of his pace. She couldn’t blame him however, this was not exactly a fond impression of his boss.. Nothing was said the entire walk upstairs, Francesca went about almost ignoring the other man’s presence entirely as she removed her brother’s shoes and rolled him onto his back so he didn’t choke on his own spit while he slept. All of this was done calmly, elegantly, as if it were ritual and common practice for her. The women of the family may not be involved with the actual business, but they certainly dealt with the repercussions and side effects of what went on in the worlds of their men…

Surely it must have been odd, as both times Francesca had been seen by the conscious man in the room, she had been in tears or on the brink of them. This was not a side of her she had been proud to have shown, as expectations on strength were nearly as vital for daughter’s as they were for son’s, but nevertheless, she appeared almost completely different than she had when barging outside to confront Luca in the gardens. There was still a great amount of strength in her presence, but no tears clouded her lovely hazel eyes at that moment. She leaned over, causing her skirt to rise in the back to show off the thin black lace of her panties, as she kissed her brother’s forehead. The very man she had been cursing out and wanted nothing to do with only hours ago…But he was family, her blood…and she doubted that the Sicilian had even understood what she had been screaming about earlier, so he would not ridicule what seemed to be a hypocritical statement on her part..

As the sound of Giuseppe’s snores filled the room, she gestured the other man to be quiet and to follow her out of the room..Something she found incredibly idiotic considering the man barely spoke…After shutting the door behind them, she brushed a curl away from her face, her ample breasts bouncing with the movement of her arm. “He’ll be awake in a few hours I’m sure if you planned on waiting for him..” She said, glancing up at the man from beneath thick black lashes. “Though I can’t guarantee what sort of mood he’ll be in then…” She shrugged somewhat, turning on her heel to start walking back towards her room, deciding that ultimately she wanted to say nothing more to the hired hit whose only difference from the other lackies was that he happened to be from the old country…

However, a few steps away from her door, Francesca paused. Her hand had stretched out to open the door to her room, but hung there as if held up by strings in the air..frozen, in mid motion. Her eyes had caught glance of a diamond bracelet which hung from her wrist..One with the initials SNM engraved onto the inside. She swallowed, hard, and slipped the jeweled loop off her wrist before walking back down the hall. “Look..I know he was just another job to you, and there’s probably not anything left of…” She paused, her lips quivering as she shook her head, “Actually, don’t tell me…I don’t want to know and I know you don’t care…but do me a favor and wherever you dumped Sal…just toss this with him..” She took the Sicilians hand and placed the bracelet it in his palm, her fingertips lingering upon his wrist as well as upon the bracelets jewels for a moment, before she stepped back. “Pawn it if you want...just take it, I don’t want it anymore.”

Even as respectable as Luca couldnt help but take in the view of Francesca's black lace panties as she attended to her brother. Standing silently like a dog awaiting its master's call he watched the young women with much attention. Though as soon as she turned back to him his gaze was quick to return to her face as she gestured him to leave the room. As he followed her he stood aside as she closed the door, now in the hallway alone with Francesca the hardened killer couldnt help but feel nervous. As her breasts bounced and her hips swayed he took in every movement as if his eyes were video cameras. All the women he had seen so far in America had been the tramps and whores Giuseppe had shown him. Giuseppe was a infact abit of a whore, useing his wealth and status as a means to impress the most easiest women. Giuseppe also ran a few brothals in town with the help of a few of the family's Capos. Though Francesca seemed to be a real women, much like those back in the old country. The American dream obviously have little affect on her besides her wanting to be free of the sovinist prison she called a home.

Though Luca was brought back to reality as she began to speak again, once again about Sal. She was right to Luca Sal was just a job and all that remained were smouldered ashes which had probably been blown away. He gaze never left her as she walked back and forth to him and her room. As the bracelet was placed in his hand he felt her fingers touch his wrist, though he felt no guilt for what he had done he had never faced someone who cared for one of his victims. Gently his other hand moved over hers and presed down on it. Her hand and the bracelet were almost sandwhiched between his strong hands gently. His eyes looked up and locked eyes with Francesca.
"You may not beleive me but I know loss, a man like myself took my parants away when I was 10..." Luca said in his best english, his acccent at time abit strange but he was after all still learning to speak English. As he told her this his mind began tp remember the events that unfolded after the bombing of his parents restuarant. "I got my revenge though, a man like your Father gave me a gun and told me where the man who killed my parents lived.. I was still only 10 but I was so full of anger I did it!" He said almost confessing to Francesca as if she was a preist. That fatefull night Luca broke into the hitman's apartment and shot him dead as he slept. He got away with it, after all witnesses thought nothing of a young boy running away from the sound of gun fire. This deed was also a sort of initiation set by Don Gino Mancini whom from then took Luca in and had him trained to kill. Sal how ever was also an initiation set by Vinchenzo to show his worth. Though Luca wouldnt speak of this to Francesca.

Luca then let go of Francesca's hand. The bracelet came with his hands and was slid into the pocket of his leather jacket. Luca looked down to the women whom he towered over as he stood at 6'3". He nodded to her respectfully before turning towards the stairs which he began to decend. "Arrivederci, Ah bona.." He said simply as he decended the stairs, confidently telling her she was a beautiful woman along with good bye. As Luca made it to the middle section of the stair case which led to a secondary stair case that led to the house's lobby he stopped brefily to look back to Francesca. He knew she would probably never forgive him for what he had done and for that reason not care for his story of how he came to be. After a couple of seconds he continued his way down the stairs and out of the front door. Once outside he began to make his way across the courtyard outside the house towards the main gate. It was now 9:05pm and had allready began to get dark.

Francesca had not anticipated a response of any sort from the Sicilian, so her look of surprise was genuine when suddenly she felt the soft pressure of his hand upon her own. Captivated by his voice, her green-hazel eyes curiously admired him behind a veil of intrigue as she listened to such a personal detail of his life. “I am so sorry..” She said softly, feeling her fingertips caress against his palm as he withdrew from her. Sorry…As if sorry would mean anything, or ever truly meant anything to anyone before…especially people like them, whom had seen what they had…Death was not something to apologize for…It was just business. Sorry. She had instantly regretted saying it, as it felt so silly and “chickish” as Giuseppe would have said had he not been passed out already. But she had meant it…she had lost her mother already, but Francesca couldn’t bear the thought of losing her father..

She stood there, watching the Sicilian “Buona notte…” Her voice softly responded, bringing her hand to her side, still curled in the position he had held it in. Her eyes followed him down the stairs, remaining in contact with his as he paused to look back. A small smile curled upon her lips, but she couldn’t place why..The man had killed Sal! No doubt in a horrifically brutal fashion! And yet here she was exchanging pleasantries and shy glances with him! Rubbing her hand immediately against her side, as if to wipe some unseen dirt, she scoffed at herself and walked back to her room. No doubt her father would retire at some late hour, and Antonio would return to his home for a few simple hours of sleep before returning early in the morning.

Antonio was always there before she woke up, though he claimed to go home every so often. Had there been a Mrs. Porello, she would not have been very pleased…Despite his old age however there were many “Miss” Porello’s, called such by association and by no conduction of religion. Girls as young as Francesca even…It was a wonder what some would do for a piece of Cosa Nostra cash…

The next morning, Francesca awoke to what sounded like some sort of recently tranquilized bear groaning in bitter agony…A sound so loud it seemed like the beast was in her room! However, upon further inspection, said bear turned out to be Giuseppe in his bathroom, and the tranquilizer induced agony was merely the resulting hangover form having cleared the bar out of scotch the night before. Dressed in her black lace nightgown and a white silk robe which hung only slightly farther than the dress she had been wearing yesterday, Francesca rubbed her brother’s back slightly as he curled over the porcelain seat. “This is what you get for drinking so much Lupi, you know your stomach can’t handle so much alcohol..” She shook her head slightly, wiping a damp cloth across his forehead before picking up one of the house phones as well as her brother’s cell. She walked out into his bedroom, so no unnecessary noises could be heard in the background, and dialed the number of the Sicilian hit..

“It’s Francesca,” She said shortly, as if he should be expecting her, “From the little coherent statements Giuseppe’s made this morning, he said he wants you over here as soon as possible..I suggest you hurry up.”

Whenever he arrived, he would find on his way in, the sound of gruff Italian laughter coming from the billiards room, as well as the sound of clinking glasses and billiard balls…The Capos were awaiting their assignments from the Boss, but there was one man standing at the far end of the hall near Don Vinchenzo’s office…Slicked back greasy blonde hair, dressed in a pinstripe suit that was far too tight in most areas, he stood with his arms crossed behind his back; Sunglasses still inside, his posture completely frozen as if he had been shot, stuffed, and put on display in that very spot…

Giuseppe hugged the porcelain toilet bowl as he continued to vomit, with the sound of incoming footsteps and then a gentle hand on his back he knew it was his Sister. As she spoke he could not reply as he vomited again. "My drink was drugged!... Iam gonna kill that barmen when he shows his fuckin face!.." Giuseppe lied in his defence, Francesca was right and that fact alone pissed of Giuseppe. Even though his head was pounding as if a pinball bounced around inside his cranium and he was throwing up all sorts of grotesque colours and smells, Giuseppe still found time to show his dominance to his Sister. Vinchenzo had not long woke and had stopped in Giuseppe's doorway as he made his way down stair for breakfast. The old man weas clad simply in a oair of black silk pajamas and a red velvet right gown both items of clothing had the family crest embroided on the left side of the chest like a badge of honour. Vinchenzo shook his head in disapointment. Giuseppe was needed today after the fiasco yesterday. With a sigh Vincenzo made his way down stairs to the dineing room where he awaited his breakfast. The house had a 2 cook, 3 maids and a butler named Mario Romano Jr whom at the age of 24 had took over his retired fathers duties at the Guilliano estate. As Vinchenzo sat in a throne like chair at one end of the long dineing talbe in the grand dining room. Around him his miads were busy tidying up the house in preperation for the arrival of the family, whilst Mario was busy serveing breakfast to his master. Mario Romano Senior had been a loyal servan to Guilliano family and was a freind of Vinchenzo's from the old country.

As he continued to cough and splutter whilst he seemed to have vomited all he could, Giuseppe turned to face his sister. "Call Luca!.." He said simply beofre quicky returning to the toilet to vomit some more. Giuseppe was a and was still clad in his clothes from yesterday which he had slept in. It was looking grim for his appearance later at the meeting.

Luca as always had been awake since dawn, since his wake he had done 20 press ups eaten breakfast, showered and dressed. Luca lived in a old apartment above one of Giuseppe's brothals. it was one of Giuseppe's safehouses and also a private room for when he wanted to 'train' his employees. With all the noise that came from below Luca still somehow managed to sleep. Clad as usual in his black leather jacket, black shirt, black leather gloves, black trousers and black boots. Back home he would tend to wear less black and indeed less clothing but here in America it was begining to get cold as winter set in. Luca was sat on his couch watching TV when his cell rang. "Buon giorno..." He answered, he was suprised to hear Francesca's voice. He listened to her quick call. "Arrivederci giusto.." He replied as he hung up the call.

Within a hour Luca arrived at the estate, once again via a taxi. Luca made his way towards the house passing the usuall gathering of mafiosos and cars. As he entered the house the sounds of the billiards room caught his attention as did the man outside the dons office. Luca looked the man over breifly before walking into the billiards room. Luca was known to very few people in the family, after all he was more or less Giuseppe's private killer. Though Giuseppe was no where to be seen and neither was Francesca. Luca walked over to the bar and leaned against it. As the barmen approached him, Luca was quick to answer.
"Acqua, per favore.." Luca said simply and was soon given a glass of water. Luca took the glass and turn so to lean on the bar with his lower back as he awaited Giuseppe or Francesca.

Meanwhile back upstairs Giuseppe was just out the shower and still looked worse than Sal did after he choked on his own cock. Giuseppe stood in just a pair of black silk boxer shorts as he desperately searched his closet for a suit. "God damnit!.." He shouted as he found nothing but leisure wear and a tuxido. Seeing as this wasnt any sort of party he needed to look his best. His best suit he had slept in and was splattered with vomit. Giveing up his search he sat on the edge of his bed for a moment and began to rub his head as it continued to ache. With a sigh he gave into the situation and was quick to pull a red shirt and a pair of white slacks from the closet. Accompanied by a pair of black loafers he looked like a bad guy from a bad 80's cop show. Giuseppe then made his way down stairs, the sounds of the billiards room made his head hurt more so he seeked santuary in his father's office. Giuseppe looked to the blonde man outside the office and in his agony lashed out at the man whos eyes were hidden behind tinted glass. "WHAT ARE YOU FUCKING LOOKING AT?!" He yelled as he stood infront of the man be for pulling a switch blade from his pocket and letting the blade flick out. Giuseppe sudden interest in this mysterious man caught the attention of those in the billiards room who soon all fell silent. Luca downed his water and set the empty glass on the bar and casually made his way to Giuseppe. Luca now stood behind Giuseppe. Giuseppe looked back over his shoulder to Luca. "What the fuck do you want, Iceman?!" He shouted again this time turning his anger onto Luca. Luca remained silent and showed no emotion. Though in his head he was thinking how easilly he could disarm an kill Giuseppe if he really wanted to.

“GIUSEPPE!” Antonio had come out of the dining room after hearing the raucous, and thankfully for Giuseppe had quelled Vinchenzo’s irritation and convinced him to keep eating. The gruff Consiglerie snatched the knife from the hot headed man, scowling “Che Cazzo fai?? Eh?! You cannot-a treat guests like this!” He clicked the blade closed and put it in his pocket immediately, sweat of frustration gleaming on his wrinkled forehead. Antonio was in no way shape or form afraid of the Don's son. Had Giuseppe started to snap, the Consiglerie might have been old but he would have set him straight immediately...The Porello special consisted of the most agonizing ways of breaking a mans' fingers..

Francesca, whom had been in the estate's infirmary, came downstairs with a folded suit over her arm that she had sent one of the errand boys out to pick up while Giuseppe was in the shower, as well as a bottle of asprin, some seltzer water and an icepack in her hand to place on her brother‘s forehead if he had wanted to rest his head on her lap until the medicine kicked in. As the only son, and heir of the family, Giuseppe had always been tended to like a Prince..When their mother had passed, Francesca had taken on the role of both wife and mother, especially to her true-blooded father and brother. Constantly she was running around on their behalf, particularly to try to keep Giuseppe from exploding or causing a scene…Much like now. Hearing the commotion by her father’s office, she walked over, rolling her eyes. “What now?”

Since that morning, she had dressed in a tight pair of jeans which outlined the curves of her body quite nicely., clinging to her in the most alluring ways. She wore a black off the shoulder top that, if she bent over slightly, would expose her lower back and no doubt the strings of her pink thong as well..Her jeans were tucked into high stiletto boots that clicked elegantly upon the hardwood floor of the hallway. Her long curls twisted up into an elegant up do, with only a few curls left down to frame her face.

“Ah, Cesca!” Antonio sighed, making a small crucifix in front of himself as if the girl had been sent by God. “Take-a your brother somewhere before he-a embarrass us all!” He muttered, beginning to speak in thick, very old sounding Italian to the young blonde man, who had kept a slight smirk upon his lips the entire ordeal..Antonio led the man into the billiards room as Francesca opened the door to her father’s office, nodding to Luca to follow as well

“Come on Giuseppe..”

Antonio had meanwhile sorted a drink out for the blonde before re-entering the dining room, patting a handkerchief with his own family crest engraved onto the edge, against his forehead. “Mi scuzi Don, but Don Moretti’s Mercury is here waiting for you..”

Mercury…The Roman name for the Greek god Hermes…

The Messenger.

As Antonio interupted and took the knife away from Giuseppe, Giuseppe instictivly went for the older man though Luca expected nothing less and stepped in between the men and grabbed Giuseppe's arms. "Relax!.." Luca ordered quite loudly, it would seem even as patiant as Luca may have been even he had his limits when it came to spoilt little brats. Giuseppe struggled against Luca but to with no success, Luca obviously was far stronger. Luca kept his hold on Giuseppe untill Antonio and the blonde guy were out of sight. Luca then let go only to be shooved by Giuseppe. "WHO THE FUCK SAID YOU COULD TOUCH ME YOU FUCKING PEASANT!" Giuseppe's ego was like that of a prince, a prince desperate to be king. As he disrespected Luca, Luca's mind began to race with thoughts of harming Giuseppe, right now he was comteplateing breaking his nose though Francesca's interuption saved Giuseppe's face.

Giuseppe snarled at Luca before doing as he was told. He followed his Sister into their Father's office and took his usual place at a leather seat beside his Fathers desk. noticeing what she had brought obviously for him he was quick to sit up for a moment and snatch the items from her hands. His head continued to thump whilst his temper continued to sizzle. Luca soon followed and closed the door behind him, though reluctant to sit he stood infront of the door as if to stop Giuseppe makeing anymore of a fool of himself. Luca looked over to Francesca for a moment as he casually admired her outfit whilst an uncomftable silence seemed to engulf the room. Giuseppe didnt notice the way Luca looked at his sister as he was too busy trying to open the bottle of aspirn. The child safty cap began to infuriate him more untill he lost it once again.
"MOTHER FUCKER!" He yelled as he threw the plastic bottle across the room. With a crash and a smash it collided with Vinchenzo and Maria's wedding photo which fell from the room and hit the hard wood floor. The old photograph seemingly surviveing the fall with a few creases and the odd tear whilst its antique ivory frame seemed to shattered. With his temper Giuseppe cared little for the photo and ignored it before he got up and sat in his fathers office chair and began to root through his draws and cupboards in search of a replacement for the asprin. Luca as always remianed silent and just watched on as if he was one of the many faces in the many photograpghs which hung on the walls.

Meanwhile in the dineing room oblivious to the chaos his son was causeing a relativly calm and relaxed Vinchenzo awaited Don Moretti messenger whom Antonio was prompt to inform Vinchenzo of his arrival. "Send him in!.." Replied a healthier looking happy Vichenzo whom had just finished his breakfast. With the mans arrival, Mario was quick to appear with a trolly carrying a coffee pot, a jug of fresh orange juice, cups and other light refreshments. As Vinchenzo sat happily awaiting the messanger, Mario was quick to clear the table of the remains of breakfast before setting the table for the meeting. Vinchenzo's good mood kept him from wondering and careing of what his son was up too.

“For fucks sake Giuseppe calm the fuck down!” Francesca hissed, having tolerated him greedily snatching the items from her hands as if saying what took you so long, and rushed over to salvage their parents wedding photo before someone stepped on it. As her brother scowled and began to root through their father’s personal belongings, Francesca scooped the glass and broken frame into the rubbish bin, placing the photo on the desk and picking up the bottle of asprin that had been thrown. She clicked open the seal with ease and set it on the desk, narrowing her eyes. “Giuseppe! Here’s the damn aspirin now fucking take it and get dressed out of your damn skeezer clothes..” She rolled her eyes slightly, walking over to Luca and taking his arm gently. “Look I know you aren’t the errand boy, but if my father finds out that Giuseppe’s broken that frame then you’ll be missing a boss for a while…” She smiled almost, catching a twinge of satisfaction in the hit’s eyes, “Go up to my room, on the second floor across from Giuseppe’s, and take the white frame off my desk...Just take the picture out of it, no one will notice..”

Sending Luca out of the room, she locked the door to force anyone who wanted to enter, to knock. She would say that Giuseppe was changing, which indeed he would have to anyway, but for the moment she was losing her own temper with her spoiled Prince of a brother. If things continued the way they were now, the meeting tonight would turn into a total disaster. If their father lost his temper and kicked Giuseppe out of the family, not even Francesca could help him then. She seized her brother’s wrist, with a strength that was not expected from a woman of her size, but one that her older brother should have immediately recognized as a sign his sister had had enough.

“What the hell is wrong with you today Giuseppe?? Do you enjoy making an ass of yourself? Hm!” Her grip on his wrist tightened, tugging him in the direction of the sofa where his clothes were laid out. However instead of telling him to get dressed, she pushed her brother over the arm of the couch, pinning her knee against his back and keeping her weight down on him to keep him still, her hand reaching down to grab his hair. “We can do this the simple way or the hard way Lupi…, it’s up to you...You can fix your fucking attitude or I will -make- you fix it…”

Antonio had meanwhile sent for the messenger, taking his own seat to the right of Don Vinchenzo. After giving a courteous bow, the Messenger removed his sunglasses and tucked them in his pocket, revealing a heavy scar across his left eye..The eye itself milky white in most areas, with what appeared like etch marks on the top layer..the shape of which would have to be determined by closer inspection. “Greetins’ and good day Don Gulliano…” The messenger began, an accent more based in Boston than anything else. He walked with a slight skip to his step, his neatly polished snake skin boots squeaking slightly on the floor, moving down the side of the long dining table, adjusting his collar with a sneerish grin upon his face. “My Don, Signore Moretti, is quite eager to hear ya’ decision on the proposal brought up durin’ ya’ last sit down,” The Messenger paused, running his tongue over his teeth as if in thought, “Ah, and Signore Giovanni wished me to bid salutations to ya’ and yours as well..”

With his clothes in hand Giuseppe began to change. Without a care he took off his shirt and slacks and stood in his boxer shorts. With the asprin handed to him he casually took a few of the pills whilst still clad simply in his boxers. As Francesca took hold her Luca's arm he instinctivly looked down to her, he listened contently before nodding in response and leaveing the room. As Luca left the room Giuseppe's eyes focused on his Sister. "your not fucking him now are ya?!" He joked vicously as he stood still in his boxers. As she took hold of his wrists he looked to her with both amusement and confusion. "What the fuck are you doing?" He yelled. He listened to her in confusion as she dragged him towards the sofa. "Nothing is worng with me Sister now let go of me you crazy bitch! Your the one makeing an ass out of yourself!.." He argued back as he was forced onto the sofa, clad simply in his boxers. As she bent him over and pushed her knee into his back whilst pulling his hair he was shocked. "Get the fuck of me!" He shouted as he tried to fight her off. "When you get of me I will fucking fix you you little slut!..." He shouted.

By now Luca had made it back to the office door with the photo frame in hand. He reached for the handle and tryed to turn it but it was locked. He then knocked. "LUCA GET YOUR ASS IN HERE!" Giuseppe shouted in response to the knocks. Luca was confused but did nothing but casually listened through the door. It sounded like she was attacking him. Luca was suprised to hear a women dominateing a man and espacially a sister attacking her brother.

"Sì, sì!..." Vinchenzo replied to the message. He nodded casually to everyword the younger man said. Vinchenzo listened contently and was quick to answer. "Everything is to go to plan, Francesca is keen to marry..." Vinchenzo replied lieing as if Francesca knew of this arranged marriage.

“Slut? You’re a fucking riot Giuseppe you know that?”

Francesca mused, brushing her hair away from her face with her free hand. Instead of doing what she had intended to, she instead stood there, her knee sharply burying into her brother’s spine as he writhed madly around, calling for the hitman whom would have gladly take him out for free only a few moments ago. “You know what, I’m fucking tired of cleaning up after you…You’re such a fucking man?” She hissed, leaning down to his ear as her free hand cupped his balls harshly through his boxers “Don’t come begging me to come save you when Dad finally snaps…” She hissed, licking the side of his face just to spite him...sealing her fury with her spit, as it were, instead of blood. “I’m fucking done with you…”

Standing up straight she walked to the door and out, taking the frame from Luca’s hands and promptly throwing it on the floor..It shattering instantly upon colliding with the hardwood floor as she hissed “Have fun..” And with that, she walked towards the dining room…Intending to join her father for what was left of breakfast. She would say nothing about Giuseppe or the incident with the strange blonde or in the office. She was relatively confident that her brother could dig his own grave all by himself.

Francesca is keen to marry….

These words stopped her from opening the door entirely…What? She had held her tongue with her father when it came to Sal…but what was this why he had been murdered? Because her father had been arranging a marriage behind her back! The door to the dining room was situated behind the chair that Vinchenzo was currently seated, so she managed to open it and slip inside without being noticed, her arms crossed over her breasts...lips pursed slightly…until the disfigured messenger clapped his hands together.

“Ahh and speak of the beautiful Venus herself, good day to ya’ Miss!”

Antonio, looking rather startled, looked over his shoulder and instantly those old brown eyes widened. Immediately he turned his head back as if he had started to cough, rubbing his neck in a fashion that was meant to signal the Messenger to shut the hell up…But the damage had been done. Francesca forced a polite smile as she walked over towards the table, keeping her arms crossed as she looked to her father and her father alone.

“Talking about me Papa?”

Giuseppe squirmed in pain and discomfort as his sister abused him in such a bizarre way. For once Giuseppe was speachless and remained silent. As Francesca left the room leaveing Luca with the view of an abused Giuseppe bent over the couch. Giuseppe locked eyes with Luca. "Close the door..." Giuseppe said calmly. Luca did as he was told and closed the door and turned to watch Francesca. With the privacy of the door closed Giuseppe put on his suit and went about tidying up his mess like a scalded dog he seemed to have lost his attitude for the moment but in his mind he wanted revenge. He would find a way to humiliate his sister and make her sorry for what she had just done. Luca over heard Vinchenzo's words as Francesca did though as Francesca entered the dining room Giuseppe opened the office door and pulled Luca into the office and slammed the door behind him.

As Francesca appeared in the dineing room Vnchenzo went silent. His eyes locked onto hers and he gave her the most unwelcomeing look a father could give his duaghter. Ignoreing her question he looked to Antonio and the messanger. "Gentlemen, could you give me and my daughter a moment please.." Vinchenzo asked politely with a freindly face. As the men left the old mans gaze fell back upon his Daughter. Sat comtably in his chair at the dineing table the old man finished his coffee. "Why were you listening to my business?..." Vinchenzo asked in a stern tone as if Francesca was a child whom had done something wrong. Even though she was the topic of convosation, to Vinchenzo it was his business. He spoke of her like she was nothing more than his poperty. "You know your not suppose to listen in on my meetings..." The old man added before she could respond, his gaze seemed to look straight through her as a silent fury filled him.

"That bitch!... thinks she can fuck with me?!.. I will show her! Infact WE will show here!.. Yes, Luca my freind you will do me a little favour and put some fear in that little bitch for me! Let her know her place in the fuckin food chian!.." Giuseppe ranted as he walked around the room, his hand moveing around in dramtic gestures. Luca stood by the door with his arms folded as he listened to Giuseppe's little plan. Personally he fought this was a stupid idea, espacially as Giuseppe wouldnt want her dead or for that matter harmed. Luca's skills were more intended for the sleeping with the fishs kind of 'dealing' with people, not scare tactics. Giuseppe's mind began to race as he tryed his best to think of what to do to her, he stopped his paceing of the room and sat on the edge of his Father's desk before he began to rub his chin. "You could kidnap her!.. Yeah blind fold her, gag her, take her to the other side of town... get her thinking shes going to be killed!... though what would i do about my Father?... he would surely worry if his little whore of a Daughter went missing.." Giuseppe continued to rant and Luca continued to stand in silence. Luca wasnt in the mood to argue so he simply let Giuseppe have his little power trip, Luca disagreed with everything Giuseppe said but he kept his opinions as always to himself.

“Listening in?”

Francesca couldn’t believe the audacity of the men in her life. To accuse -her- of anything but catering to their every last whim an wants was a complete slap in the face to the young girl whom had given up everything…her choice in every last thing in her life, for the sake of her family. She tolerated the verbal abuse, the chauvinistic expectations, even the brutal murder of a man whom had simply wanted to treat her like a gentleman! And yet from both her father and her brother, all she seemed to get in return was further heartache…Francesca bit down on her tongue, trying to calm herself down as she continued to stand, reminding herself of her father’s status and his health...

“Papa..” She said calmly “You’ve never held a meeting in the dining room before...I was coming in to join you for breakfast. How was I to know you had some...who -was- he? And what is this about marriage?” She said this all very politely, despite her pent up anger, moving to sit in the chair where Antonio once had been seated. She placed her hand atop of her father’s, frowning gently. “I know you keep secrets for good reason from Giuseppe…but from me Papa? Am I so untrustworthy?” A genuine look of sorrow in her eyes. She knew that the business of the family was not meant for women…but when she was the direct topic, should she not be involved? Should she not have a say in this matter? What she wanted to say..scream, it felt like, was that she had had enough…That this wasn’t the old country..and she couldn’t fill her mother’s shoes. She couldn’t make everything seem right and complacent like her mother had until she had become to ill to leave bed…Francesca never believed she could live up to her mother’s example…

And as she saw the many shadows and secrets of the business becoming more and more clear…she felt like an incredible failure.

The messenger had meanwhile excused himself from Antonio’s presence, grinning coyly as he made his way down the hall towards the bathroom as the older man stood outside the dining hall clasping his hands in what seemed like prayer..The disfigured Mercury walked lightly, his shoes still squeaking every so often..he had pursed his lips to whistle when he heard something quite interesting.

You could kidnap her!..Yeah, blind fold her,, gag her, take her to the other side of town…get her thinking shes going to be killed!…though what would I do about my Father?

A grin creeped across the greasy haired blondes face as he turned sharply on his heel to go into the washroom, pulling out his cell phone to send a coded text to an uncategorized number on his list.

~Mars plans to kidnap Venus for show…The Saints can smite that old religion~

After the message was sent, the slick Messenger set his cell phone in the pocket sewn into the inside of his trousers before walking out and down the hall towards the dining room, whistling a tune as he replaced his sunglasses...

Vinchenzo was angry at just the fact she had heard part of the convosation, but for her to question him. His face turned a unhealthy red as he pulled his hand from beneath her's as if to slap her. Though his hand never swung, it just stayed in the air as if it was waiting for the right time to strike. Though it soon fell to the table and along with its twin pushed againsed the table causeing Vincenzo's chair to streatch as it slid back across the floor. The old man then was quick to stand. He may have only been a inch or two taller than his daughter but to him he still towered over her. Looking down at her breifly he then looked away. He rubbed his forehead gently as he began to feel light headed. His blood pressure once again telling him to relax. "You see what you and your Brother are doing to me!..." He said in the calmest voice he couls muster at this moment. He sat back down rather quickly as he began to feel faint again. His health obviously distorting his view on the situation and his relationship with his family. After all it had only been a few days ago Antonio had found him in the orchard talking to his wife as if she was walking with him. At first it seemed like normal, people who greive sometimes talking to their lost loved ones but Antonio noticed this was more than greif. A psychologist would be required but would Vinchenzo allow them to analyze him? He would surely see it as an insult and possibly over react. Vinchenzo then began to search himself for his medication, but one again could not find them. As he rose his head, Francesca would see the weak and vulnrable old man a farcry from the man whom had just shouted at her. "My pills, they are on my night stand... could you fetch them for me.." He asked weakly, he looked tired and obviously ill. In his time of vulnrabillity he was more honest and true. After all he needed Francesca to bring him his medication. "I only want whats best for you, il mio bambino.." In his current state he began to slur his words and mix his languages without noticeing. "I want to see you married before I join your mother.." He added before once again doing the motion of the crucifix. "I also want to bring peace between us and the Moretti's before Iam gone. I dont want Giuseppe takeing my place while we are at war." He explained slowly getting to the point. "Giovanni Moretti is a good man.." He added simply, by know his plan woul be clear to her.

Giuseppe was still sat on the edge of his Father's desk whilst he continued to plan his revenge. Luca was still unhappy with the plan and espacially his part in it. Luca would risk alot getting involved though Giuseppe obviously didnt care after all he would make sure he was seen as having no involvment. "I think my father has a old bottle of chloroform knocking around this house some place from the old days... abit of that on a cloth and you should be able to knock her out nice and easy!.." Giuseppe continued to explain his little plan. Luca listened whilst still continueing to not like the plan. "Are you sure about this?... What if it goes wrong?" Luca finally spoke up, he wasnt happy with the plan. Giuseppe was shocked to see Luca question him, though he for once didnt respond. It seemed as though his sisters little attack was still bothering him. "Ah, what ever!... get out of here. I will contact you when Ive got a full proof plan.." Giuseppe finally responded, Luca waisted no time in leaveing the room. As he made his way down the corridoor Francesca was just leaveing the dineing hall.

Francesca did not flinch, in fact the only movement she made was with her eyes; following her father’s furious movements intently..She had seen his face turn red, and immediately tensed, ready to catch him - or at least break his fall- should he nearly collapse. Instead, he sat down, shouting about the effect that she and Giuseppe had on him…Guilt swarmed over her, as always…Francesca was always manipulated into feeling guilty, when she had nothing to be sorry for…She stood, kneeling down by her father’s side as he spoke, resting her head upon his knee as she stroked her fingertips against his leg affectionately. She used to sit like this as a child, whenever Giuseppe would upset her or she had a nightmare, she would sit by her father’s side while he finished paperwork in his office…Her lips twisted slightly, listening to a very sweet way of saying that she had no choice in the matter…

Standing up, Francesca forced a smile and pressed her lips against her father’s forehead. “You, are a good man Papa..” she whispered sorrowfully, saying nothing about Giovanni or the marriage…Just as she did with Sal, she bit her tongue, “I’ll go fetch your pills…Te amo, Papa..” She said softly, turning to walk out into the hallway, leaving her father to his thoughts and plans. Antonio had been standing there, after escorting the Messenger out, the old man watching the Don’s daughter quietly...uncertain of what to say to her. Inevitably they would have had to bring this up to her, especially if the Moretti’s were pushing to have the ceremony soon. But when a plan did not work out exactly as anticipated…it left a bad taste in everyone’s mouth.

“My father needs his medication…” Was all that she said, Antonio nodded and made his way upstairs and back to the dining room with the pills in hand. He poured a glass of water before setting it and the bottle of pills in front of the seated Don, taking his seat again, leaning back with a heavy sigh. “Well…she took it-as a well as we thought she would, eh? Guess we-gonna wait until the day of the ceremony to tell Giuseppe?” He chuckled somewhat, patting his old friend on the shoulder. “ ‘Cesca is-a good girl…She don’t wanna disappoint you Vinnie.”

Francesca’s stomach however was turning, her heart rapidly pounding as she attempted to quell the despair swirling inside of her. So this was what all the secrecy had been over… Marriage? To Giovanni Moretti of all people? He was almost exactly like Giuseppe! This wasn’t the fucking old country! She had a right to chose her own husband…Didn’t she? The bitter truth was that this was not the case…Everyone, and everything in the family, came before her own happiness…Always. Had there not been a small crushed velvet bench against the wall, Francesca would have slid down to the floor...Her entire body felt numb, dizziness sweeping her, causing her to sit frigidly still...Almost appearing, from the pale shade her face had turned, that she had seen a ghost. She spotted Luca, and her hazel eyes glanced up towards him slowly, her lips slightly agape.

She seemed as if she had wanted to tell him something…but instead, she sat up straight and brushed her hair away from her face, swallowing deeply before clearing her throat. “I need an escort whenever I leave the estate…” She began, standing up and smoothing her hands over her jeans. “If my brother has you on any sort of errand forget it, take me to the bar…I need a drink.”

Luca noticed a problem and he too wanted to get away from this house and Giuseppe whom was still alone in the office planning his little revenge. Luca walked over to Francesca and as she stood he looked over her with a smile. "Sì signora, have you a place in mind?" A teetotal Luca replied. He didnt know any bars in town well apart from those he had been to on business. Luca casually led the way out off the building and out in the the courtyard where the Capo's had began to arrive. Luca exchanged respectfully nods to greet Capos who past him. Standing in the coutyard he looked around for a car, his eyes soon fell on Francesca. "Do you have a car?" He asked her simply, after all the only cars he had acess to were those which were intended to be distroyed after their use. Luca had became used to being an escort and bodyguard, after all Luca had stood by Giuseppe's side many times whilst Giuseppe did business. Luca never carried a gun unless it was to be used. Though he didnt need one, after all his hands were weapons. Though around his left wrist was a length of piano wire which when wrapped asround his hands became a garotte which had strangled many men.

Vinchenzo took his pills and followed with the water, as he swollowed he looked to his watch to see it was almost time for the meeting. The old man slowly stood up still in his pajamas and night gown. He looked to Antonio.
"Antonio my freind please see to the men I must go dress..." Vinchenzo then left the room and made his way upstairs back to his room where he proceeded to get changed into a fresh suit whilst downstairs the house began to get busy. Meanwhile Giuseppe had finished his plotting and had opened up the door to the office. He fixed his suit as he prepared for the busy day, this time Giuseppe intended to keep his temper at bay. He casually sat down beside his father's desk as usual before Vinchenzo entered the room and sat at his desk. The days business began to go as planned with men lineing up to enter the room, each in turn speaking with the don. Giuseppe was keen to make up for his earliar mistakes and was far to busy to notice Francesca and Luca were missing.

“I don’t care..I just need a drink..”

She responded, sighing softly as she walked to the front door, grabbing her purse before following Luca outside. While he simply nodded in respect to the Capos, Francesca had to stop and greet each one personally. She exchanged simple formalities and assured them that her father would be waiting inside, smiling sweetly until the last of them entered the estate. Taking her keys out from her purse, she smirked towards the Sicilian and nodded, walking over to her black Jaguard XJ, getting in the drivers seat and brushing her hair away from her face as she waited for him to get in. When the door clicked close, and he had seated himself, Francesca wasted no time pulling out of the driveway and speeding off as if Giuseppe would come chasing after her demanding to know where she was going.

The inside of the car was soft leather, clean and sparkling as if brand new. A rosary hung from her rearview mirror, as well as a pink necklace with a Princess’ crown dangling from it. Her father had bought the car for her for her sixteenth birthday, but truly Francesca rarely used it…She was typically driven everywhere, so the chance to drive at the moment was exhilarating. They rode in silence, without even the radio on, towards downtown where she parked outside of one of the few bars the was not owned by her family. The Tsar's Palace, on the outskirts of the city...Giuseppe's lot didn't hang around the docks much. The last thing she needed was some snitch running back to the estate to tell that she was out drinking…

“Look..” She said softly, taking the keys out of the ignition and placing them in her purse, before glancing to Luca. “My father is a good man…and my brother, well..” She smirked a bit “I think your impression of him is pretty much the same as everyone else’s…but if you get past all of his bull shit, he’s a good guy…sometimes..” She smiled, stepping out of the car and walking towards the crowded bar. Her hips swayed elegantly as she walked, her tight jeans providing quite the view for whomever walked behind her. Inside, loud European pop music blared on the speakers and soccer played on every television. The floor was covered with half dressed girls dancing with men twice their age, obnoxiously giggling and twirling their fingers within their male suitors hair…Call girls no doubt..Francesca wasn’t interested in the scenery however, she immediately went to the bar and took a seat. “I’ll take a Princess Alexandra…and my friend,” she gestured to Luca “will have his drinks on me tonight…” She smiled somewhat over her shoulder to the man as the bartender blended the vanilla vodka and white crème together, setting the iced glass in front of the beautiful Italian girl, whose hazel eyes were still fixated upon the Sicilian hit…

As they arrived at the bar Luca followed Francesca closely like a bodyguard, it would be clear to anyone who looked their way he was her minder and not her date. Luca casually glanced at every man in the bar, Luca very rarely relaxed or socialised. To him every moment was work. As they got to the bar he stood closely behind her and watched the bartender over her shoulder. With the offer of a drink Luca's answer was simple. "Water.." He was teetotal after all and didnt want to become careless whilst Francesca was alone in his company. Luca watched the bartender as he made the drinks as if he was about to poison them. Luca as ever was on high alert and as another man pushed his way to the bar Luca was quick to take hold of the of her side that was furthest awat from him firmly and pull her towards him out of the mans way. Francesca now stood infront of Luca very closely, his body only a inch or so from hers as they stood at the bar. Soon their drinks were placed down infront of them and Luca reached over and took hold of his water. "Grazie.." He said simply before sipping at his glass. For a moment he turned around as the sounds of loud voices comeing from a cornor alterted him.

In the cornor sat a young Russian with girls sat either side of him and even infront of him, flocking around him as if he was a celebrity. Luca's eyes soon noticed four armed bodyguards whom seemed to have the young man covered from all sides. As one of the bodyguards locked eyes with Luca, Luca was quick to turn back to Francesca.
"Lets sit down.." He said simply as he casually put an arm around Francesca and walked her to a table out of the young Russian's sight.

Luca's plan seemed to have failed, the young Russian caught only a small glimpse of Francesca and couldnt help but notice Luca's bodyguard like movements. The young Russian was Nikolai 'Niko' Gurlakovich and was fresh of the boat this morning. Niko's older brother Sergei was the boss of a major Russian Mafia back in Russia. Sergei's orginisation was active throughout Eastern Europe and had become the primary suppliers of european guns, drugs and women to the United Kingdom and United States. Niko was here in town to set up the orginisations first American base intended to make imports to America much easier and cheaper. Niko was only 24 and his criminal career could rival both Giuseppe's and Giovanni's combined and possibly even Vinchenzo's! his arms, legs, torso, neck and hands were covered in tattoos all of which told his life story. Niko stood around 6'2" with a strong build the only reward from his breif millitary career. His short black hair was styled into a short mowhawk with the sides shaved and a tidy short beared decorated his chin. His dark brown almost back eyes had watched Francesca from the bar to her seat. He was clad simply in a red shirt which had the sleeves rolled up and the top few buttons undone to reveal his waxed chest and a silver chain that hung around his neck with matching bracelets around his wrists. He also wore a pair of black trousers and a pair of black boots.

As the women around him casually rubbed their hands over Niko's body like the whores they were Niko was more interested in the Italian girl who had just entered. He had never had a Italian girl before and he really was sick of the junkie european whores he owned.
"Hey младенец почему не сделайте вы приходите сидите с мной?!" Niko shouted at Francesca in a sleazy tone, even if she couldnt understand his native tongue his tone was surely enough to make her skin crawl. After all women to Niko were just for fucking. He had know family values or morals, but then he was raised by his older brother Sergei after their parents were killed during a Chechen attack on a market. Niko never knew his parents so to him the only family he ever had was Sergei whom due to his power and the 22 year age gap was more like a father than a brother.
