Appearance

Age: 116
Height: 5'9"
Weight: 99 lbs
Eyes: Green (Glow red when Phantom is present)
Hair: Black with red streaks
Breast Size: 34 C

Malistra is in a word, stunning. She has a slightly pale complexation and has a flawless body. Not a single hair is present anywhere other than her head and eyebrows and every curve is defined, smooth and supple.

Her hair is normally black, however after her phantom was brought out of her subconscious, her hair has been streaked with red (the colour of a lust phantom). Besides for her feminine features, her most prominent aspect is her eyes. They glow red when her phantom is within her mind (and particularly riled) or if her phantom has been summoned.

Malistra usually wears light armor cut to show off every curve. Normally she wears a short skirt or loincloth that doesn't hide her bare nethers underneath.

History

Malistra was born to a life of privilege and decadence within the elven homeland of Kyonin. Being a rare Ambrosial elf, she has a direct, if distant, bloodline relation to Calistria's divine herald, the Menotherian. As a result, she has been raised within the faith of Calistria for all of her 116 years of life. Most of those years have been ones of intense lust and desire, for Ambrosial elves raised within the church are taught divine secrets known to few and practiced only by those with this divine heritage.

As an Ambrosial elf, Malistra has an innate link to her goddess' lustful aspect...indeed, mating with the Menotherian, a personification of the goddess' lust, has imbuded this rare subrace with a powerful connection to the first sting of Calistra. Such ambrosial elves raised in the church are destined to become mortal facsimiles of the herald by harnessing the divine lust within them. They undergo years of careful preparation, study, religious ceremonies and of course, orgies to bring out this lust deep within them. Yet the latter of these carnal encounters are not debased or random; most are carefully created with multiple lovers to maximize the passion felt by the elf. Indeed, the amount of sacred sex needed, in combination with obscure divine traditions and the long elven lifespan, is quite immense, which has earned these special elves the nickname the "Unquenchable".

Once an Unquenchable has had "enough" lustful interaction, the religious training and divine heritage fully draws out their powerful, "unquenchable" lust. That fraction of their soul manifests as an extension of the elf's own fiery passion. This becomes a separate creature that is innately a part of the Unquenchable that is a creature of pure and utter lust. The newly-fractured elf is then considered a living personification of the first sting and is highly sought after by other Calistrians (and those of other faiths) as lovers. Yet the primary reason for the Unquenchable is to bring new worshippers into the fold; some people have given all they have to have a taste of these elven beauties and Calistra's faithful grow in number where ever one travels.

Malistra underwent this training and ritual, and is considered "insatiable" for even a member of the Unquenchable. Her lust knows no bounds and she's already gained quite a reputation within her temple in Iadara. This fiery passion is the reason for her departure from elven lands. She feels she's learned (and made love to) all that interests her, and decided to taker her "education" to a new level. As this is the primary reason for the Unquenchable, she was encouraged to travel to spread the goddess' faith to all those what would desire a taste of what the first sting was really about.

Having heard of the ancient Thassoilonian realm of lust called Eurythina, Malistra intended to travel to its capital of Xin-Eurythina, which is modern day Korovsa. The varisian city is built on those ancient ruins and a few remnants of that old capital still survive. Intrigued by a realm ruled by lust alone without Calistra's influence was intriguing as well as blasphemous to the elf. It also happened that Calistra's faith was not strong in that human-dominated city, and she decided to see if her presence alone could change that fact. It also interested her that the city had a new queen, a sexy young woman whom the elf might be able to influence, if she played her cards right.

Thus, she made arrangements to travel to the far away city, however she first needed a bodyguard...preferably one that would act as her lover as well. Although there was no shortage of elven faithful who would go with her, she decided she needed something different and disconnected from the church...after all, it would be much more fun to bring the bodyguard into the fold through her own seduction.

It was by chance that she met the woman named 'Mist' who resembled a strange sort of tiefling. Enamoured with her exotic appearance rather than repulsed by it, she soon learned she possessed unique powers that revolved around the summoning and infusion of an outsider with her own body. Intrigued at this, and noticing some similarities between Mist's eidolon and her phantom, decided this was the woman she wanted as her traveling companion. Using charm, wit and cold hard coin, mist became her traveling companion, bodyguard and lover. Malistra is trying to get Mist to accept her unique appearance as pleasing and sexy rather than revolting, but knows she has some work to do in that regard.

Arriving in Korvosa with Mist, she's come with the triple purpose of learning more about Xin-Eurythina, converting locals to Calistria's faith as well as the lofty goal of seducing the city's queen.

For Malistra, as a long-lived elf, she has nothing but time to work on them.

Shortly after arriving, Malistra hit up the local antique and pawn shops looking for any odd curiosity regarding the ancient realm of lust. It was in one such shop she met Meridrahne, a beautiful young woman whom seemed to have a keen mind. Intrigued by both the physical and mental capabilities of this woman, Malistra asked the local woman to show her around town, in which she obliged. The elf is trying to develop the relationship enough to create a solid friend in Korvosa, not to mention a new lover.

When Malistra mentioned she was interested in exploring old Thassolian ruins in Korvosa, Meridrahne referred her to her friend Larsen who had done some exploration (if minor trips), and the elf was immediately interested in the man. The two have had a few discussions about history and Korvosa, as well as a few religious debates which Malistra finds somewhat fascinating.

Personality

Malistra is in a word, insatiable. She is a personification of divine lust incarnate and that feeling rules all her other emotions, decisions and thoughts. Unsurprisingly, she is an expert at diplomacy, lies and other social skills. She always wants to be the centre of attention and contributes accordingly. Sometimes however, she is quite, yet this usually signifies intense thought or a cat about to pounce. The elf has no shame and doesn't know the meaning of the word "embrassassing." The more outrageous a reaction she gets, the better.

Malistra prefers women as lovers rather then men, however she does not discriminate and is usually happy to personify her lustful aspect with both sexes. Yet she actively pursues women for her own desires. Malistra has no qualms about using her spells, spell-like abilities or her phantom to get what pleasure she wants, even bordering on rape if necessary, though her charms are enough that most people submit long before that becomes a necessity.

Faith

As a unique priestess of Calistria, it is unsurprising that Malistra is completely devoted to that goddess. She respects other faiths, especially that of Shelyn (since they often produce beautiful people for her to seduce) and Urgathoa (for they produce those who look for carnal excesses), though she has no particular dislike of other religions at this time.

Befitting her heritage and training, Malistra considers lust to be the first and most sacred of Calistra's three stings (lust, trickery and vengeance). Indeed, she considers lust a combination of the others, for powerful lust can be used to easily trick others whom are being lead for the promise of sex, just as lust can be used as a lure to deliver the appropriate vengeance on those whom deserve it.

As a personification of this lust, Malistra considers a female's womanhood to be the most sacred and powerful place on her body. It is the origin of lust; where it is centred and where the pleasure originates. To this end, she always keeps her own sex exposed somehow; either she wears loincloths, short skirts or other such coverings (when she wears any at all) without any undergarments. This is both as a lure for others as well as her own personal reminder about her faith. Under no circumstances will she wear pants or other coverings that can't be easily moved aside. To other females she is close to, she'll ask and expect them to do the same for that divine, sacred connection, however it is rare for her to force that upon another.

Phantom

As Malistra's phantom is a personification of her own lust (and thus an extension of herself), the creature looks identical to Malistra, save that it is a deep rose red in colour.

When the phantom is present in the real world (regardless of it being ectoplasmic or incorporeal), it is completely nude, and the sweet smell of a woman's nether regions and powerful pheromones follow it wherever it goes. While in ectoplasmic form, the residue it leaves behind is essentially female sexual secretions.

Like Malistra herself, her phantom is insatiable, even more so than her. It knows nothing other than lust, and what it feels, Malistra feels. The relationship between the two is impossible to describe, as they are essentially the same, but separate creatures.

Meridrahne
Meri for short was a somewhat happy child, her father took her to the church of Shelyn every week to listen to the priests debate on the nature of beauty in the universe and the meaning of love, Meri took there words well - but occassionally missed the deeper meaning. Her fathers only hope was that she could have a beautiful soul like her mother rather than one like his - something confusing to the young girl as while her mother was a decent person she seemed to care much less for people outside her immediate family than her father did, and the priests seemed to favour the second over the first.

Still she attended her classes with other neighbourhood children, played with them normally, and did her chores - all in all she was a decent kid left to her fathers care as her mother dealt with the core business with her family, the only true concern her parents had was her nightmares - a bleak place where she was hunted was all she truely remembered from them, but it was enough to leave the girl shaken, and her father to pray harder.

It wasn't until she hit puberty that her powers developed first minor tricks that her father explained to her were in her blood and that she should avoid using - but that she need not worry. However a rebellious streak in her formed and she did draw upon them, initally just making lights around her - but the more she pushed herself more she began to tap into other powers. Suddenly able to focus on cracked genstones and damages broached and repair them, or read the scrolls that people sometimes left into the shop, her father was shocked and upset but her mother stepped in and while she doesn't know what was said she was sent off to the Acadamae for evaluation and partial training at the age of sixteen.

Where there she met Larsen Pike a fellow student a bit older than herself, and who displayed an interest in her in a way that few had before (other than some kids in her neighbourhood who were a bit intimated by her and her mothers family), Larsen was different and somewhat intriguing to the young woman and they studied togerher frequently often testing magic around each other, and debating on the nature of things - and forming what looked like it might be a relationship but the closer they grew together and the more he touched her and kissed her the less she felt about that aspect of the relationship and so but a stop to it rather then lead him on, she took to Scribing Scrolls as a means of expanding her knowledge of magic generally.

Thier course was only a year and while she was offered a position to learn to be a real wizard rather then merely a sorcerer she refused on financial grounds - simply put she could not afford to without her parents, and they would struggle to have made the funds. But also her mother had plans now that her daughter was older and skilled.

They met her grandfather who and he spoke to her mother about where she should fit and what she would have to do, where her mother was a shrewd business woman and had married to a good craftsman the option for magical assistance was something the family wanted to exploit - but they would need to move cautiously to avoid headache, as such Meridrahne was instructed to estiblish herself as a player in the town - who she choose to do so was up to her and the family would offer limited support depending on what she brought to them.

Currently she still doesn't know what all that means but she has began to use her powers to plant thought into the minds of key individuals when she feels she can get away with it unnoticed, thereby increasing business for her parents and discouraging protection rackets.

She adopts a mindset of providing 10% of any personal earnings to her family and a seperate 10% to the church of Shelyn - her father is glad to see that but he worries for her terribly at times she has noticed and it is not directed towards her mothers family or what she is engaged in, but when questions about it he is oddly silent.

Recently an elf named Malistra entered the shop and after speaking for a few moments they hit it off enought for Meri to accept showing her around town - meeting an odd woman named Mist at times in Malistra's company, and when she was asked about the older history of the place and a desire to explore such she contacted Larsen to introduce them.

'Mist'

Character Sheet

Appearance

Age: 19
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 119 lbs
Eyes: Luminous Sky Blue
Hair: Pale Purple, almost white.

Mist may be pretty, even beautiful by many standards, but at the same time there is always something slightly off about her, and no one is more aware of this than she is. Her body and limbs are unnaturally slender and her motions sometimes seem too fluid to be natural where other times they seem to stutter and freeze. While she has a tail not unlike a tiefling's she lacks horns. Her skin appears to shimmer with rainbows of colors on occasion, and her tongue is quite elongated, which makes it difficult for her to speak common when stressed, though she speaks draconic quite well under such circumstances.

On the whole, she looks unique, those ignorant to the mechanics of summoning and Eidolons would even call her 'fey-touched' in appearance.

History

Mist does not recall much of her life before the accident, all she really knows is that somewhere in the course of it, she ended up being subjected to a magical experiment that left her the way she is now. Her earliest clear memories are of awakening in pain, a strange mind brushing her own, and a magical circle around her before she tried to flee. Running on Adrenaline and Instinct, the escape itself is a blur of shouting and screaming in her memories, but she hopes she didn't hurt anyone innocent.

Her next clear memories are waking up, hiding in a city. How she wasn't traced and caught she isn't sure, but as she lived on in hiding she found herself becoming more cogent. Languages returned, some familiar, some not, and slowly she became aware of another presence, like a string attached to her mind.

She tugged on that string, and summoned her Eidolon.

From there on out, she began to understand a little better...

Where before she had called herself 'mistake' for clearly something must have gone wrong with whatever experiment had created her, she took on the name 'Mist'. She began to understand magic, aided by her connection to her Eidolon, and while she received little formal training during this time, she survived well enough, keeping away from others as best she could until one day someone found her...

An elf of sorts, calling herself Malistra, caught Mist, and though Mist was somewhat innately mistrustful of anyone so normal-looking (by her standards at any rate) the two of them eventually managed to reach a certain rapport. A mixture of mutual attraction and mutual interests making for the basis of a reasonable working (and occasionally intimate) relationship as they made their way towards Korvosa.

Personality

Mist is hesitant and can be skittish but her Eidolon half has good instincts which keep her uncertainties from betraying her in combat. She is not good around people though, preferring to cover herself in a cloak or hide from view in a crowd, and while she manages to be a fairly capable lover, she is very self conscious of her unnatural appearance. Malistra has helped her to realize that even as she is, she can still be desirable to many men and women, but that does not take entirely away her hesitance.

She rarely fights outside of her summoned Eidolon, and when she does she prefers to stay well back of the enemy. She is not fond of how unprotected she feels in mere armor...

Faith

Mist knows little of faith, and finds it difficult to bring herself to worship. She trusts that the gods are there somewhere, as any sensible being does, but she does not see any of them as her god.

Eidolon

Mist's Eidolon is quite similar to her, albeit with more emphasized muscles and a few extra inches of height. Where Mist wears leather armor, her Eidolon is clad in thick plates of what appear to be bone, it's eyes shine with the same blue color as hers do and a pair of feathered wings spread from its back while its hands are tipped with silvery claws.

Larsen Pike

Age: 29
Height: 6'0"
Weight: 195
Eyes: Teal
Hair: Black

Larsen Pike was raised by a decent enough family in the vast Midlands district of Korvosa, living only slightly below middle class. His father, a semi-professional athlete as well as mercenary, was a devotee of Kurgess, something that influenced Larsen heavily growing up, as Larsen would be both competitive and make his prayers to Kurgess, particularly before competitions.

Like so many able-bodied and decently raised boys seeking to improve their station, Larsen went into the Korvosan Guard once of age at his father's urging. It had not been an easy transition for him, as the guard required far more structure than he'd become accustomed to. The stiflingly lawful nature of Korvosa became even more magnified within the guard, the lawkeepers of the society.

His training brought him to be "introduced" to two new deities, Iomedae and Titivilus. Both were lawful deities that favored longswords, and both quite prevalent within the guard. Technically, Iomedae was the prevalent one, but the goddess of paladins was prevalent everywhere. It was Titivilus, a minor deity Larsen had not known of, that surprised him. Nonetheless, as he trained in swordplay and learned the laws of Korvosa, the two became more prominent in Larsen's life.

Despite some adaptation, Larsen soon tired of orderly patrols with the abundance of formalities and constant nuance of Korvosan law. In order to avoid becoming too burned out and ruining his career, he volunteered to patrol the catacombs, which meant a far less formal work environment, more autonomy, suited his interest in history, and not to mention paid a little better, as there tended to be a bit more...challenge in what a guard might encounter.

The catacombs beneath Korvosa are vast, with so many interconnecting tunnels and caves and former grave sites and collapsed vaults that there was enough danger of death just from getting lost. Add to that the number of illegal experiments performed by necromancers, an infestation of derro, ratfolk, deadly scavenger animals, and maybe the occasional criminal hiding out, and one could see why such a patrol route would pay more. With his low light vision and sharp mind, Larsen was a bit better suited to such locations, but they were initially terrifying. Some of the veteran patrollers would invoke prayers to Nyarlathotep, and over time, Larsen began to as well. The chaos of the catacombs could not be controlled, only embraced. If the predators tried to trick him, he'd learn their tricks and trick them back.

Maybe it was the dormant magic below, or simply the stress of the environment helping him to reach potential, but it was while beneath the city that his powers began to manifest. Believing himself to be possessed of the talent to be a great sorcerer, he took some of the money he saved up and sought training at the Academae, the cost somewhat offset due to his membership in the guard. There he met Meridrahne.

The next year began as a very happy one, the exhilaration of learning magic, freedom from the strict structure of the guard, and the company of a beautiful young woman with whom he shared countless hours and at times what seemed like a romantic relationship. The divine guidance of Nethys required only that he pursue magical strength, which he did. Unfortunately, as the year wore on, he realized that he lacked the innate magical ability that the more talented (to include Meri) seemed to have. Also, over the year, Meri learned that she lacked romantic interest in Larsen. There was no disaster-he passed the adept's course and Meri remained his friend-but the year ended with significantly less joy than it began on.

Larsen returned to the guard, and Meri took lessons in scroll scribing. About two and a half years later, he was contacted by Malistra, who enticingly arranged for Larsen to escort her through the catacombs so that she could look for signs of ancient religions from previous civilizations. They've remained in contact since, talking over obscure and deceased gods and sometimes venturing back under Korvosa.
