As of last week, the draft between RAW, ECW, and Smackdown! had been completed.

"And what a draft it turned out to be!" declared Jim Ross, one of the commentators. "Ladies and gentlemen, here are the Divas for tonight's match! Jillian versus The Titaness!"

Behind the stage, another blonde-haired woman waited, smirking as she heard her name called. She let the other Diva walk out first. Jillian was ... how to word it?

Foolish, she finally inwardly decided, chuckling softly as a pale hand raised and moved several champagne-colored strands behind her ears.

A lot of girls Samantha had known declared they wanted to grow up being the more ... 'traditional' jobs. Doctors, actresses, lawyers, cops, teachers --- things of that nature.

But ever since she'd first laid eyes upon the WWE show. Even at the young age of 9, when the "New Generation" Era had just started up in 1993, she knew exactly what she wanted to do. She wanted to join the ranks, to become one of the most popular and well-known women in the wrestling rosters.

To help ensure her chances would increase, she joined in the toughest sports; football, basketball, hockey, high school wrestling; anything that was very physical in nature.

"Really though," she mused softly, "JBL? Eww. She could have been around someone much better than that loser."

But that was probably why she had given up on managing him as of about two years ago, as well as MNM. It, in Sam's mind, was by far the best decision she'd made.

Her worst?

Accepting this match, of course ...

Samantha Hamilton had made quite the impact upon debuting into RAW. Her first day had been February 12, 2007. Despite being relatively new, though, she proved to be more than only a 'pretty face'. Suffice to say, her breaking the stereotype most definitely didn't go unnoticed, as many of the men often tried to make immature advances on her.

Alas, The Titaness was a feminist at heart and denied all of them. She had standards, for crying out loud.

I guess some people just don't get that ... she thought, snapping out of her thoughts as her introduction song started up.

The usual combination of boos and cheers echoed in the air; yet Samantha didn't care to pay heed to the more negative reactions. She was finally doing what she'd wanted for years and she was damn proud of herself.

Within moments, the six foot tall woman entered the woman, shooting a sly grin towards Jillian as she got into a stance, preparing to rush forward once the bell rang.

"Last chance. If you wanna bail, best do it before the bell rings."

Jillian Hall

The draft was a dream to all who entered the WWE. From the newcomers who had a fresh start to prove themselves, to the top carders who had another championship to add to their resume, all members of the WWE draft were excited for the first week. One such woman who wanted a good start to her year was Jillian Hall. She had found out that she had been booked in a match with "The Titaness", or she had forgotten about it. It didn't matter to Jillian who she was going to face, she planned to steamroll her opponent and cement herself as the upcoming star for the year.

"The following contest is scheduled for one-fall. Introducing first, from Louisville, Kentucky, Jillian! And introducing second, The Titaness!"

However, it was easier to claim that she was going to win when she wasn't standing right in front of her opponent. The Titaness was huge. Jillian had to look up at her considering her own frame was smaller. There was a part of her that wanted to call off the match, pull away before she was put in a stretcher. But that was not the mentality of a champion. She smirked at Samantha's words and scoffed, brushing some of her hair out of her face. "I'm already out here. Might as well not waste their time," Jillian said as she pointed towards the crowd. She crossed her arms and lurked near the turnbuckle, waiting for the bell to ring. However she didn't expect Titaness to immediately run at her. Jillian tried to sidestep the Titaness and kick her in the back of her legs, deciding to focus on her legs to make sure she could stay on the ground.

Meanwhile backstage, a man ran a hand through his short black hair as he watched the match unfolding on one of the televisions. Randy Orton had heard the rumors about Samantha that circulated through the locker room during the draft. There were stories of her matches back when she was in development. Some men had even fallen to the three count around her, which Randy inherently found interesting. There was a reason why the Divas and Superstars were separated from their matches. Usually, there simply was too much of a difference in strength. Nevertheless he would watch this match, while still thinking about the championship and the opportunities that would come up for him to take it. After the draft, both championships were vacated, and needed to be won again. He could do that, as long as nothing got in his way...

Sam couldn't help but smirk as Jillian's expression changed. It may have been brief, only for a few seconds, but it was long enough for the Titaness to have noticed. "What's with that face, eh? Did you just think I was given a random nickname or some shit? Well ... that helps clarify one thing. You are a natural blonde if you actually didn't expect me to be this tall. Or is that you don't understand what a titan is?"

Either way, her hair wasn't dyed which could have been true.

Rather, the better wording was Samantha had already known this. She had watched the WWE for many years and thus knew a lot of information regarding the Superstars and Divas.

To sum this franchise up, it was all akin to a massive role play; or at least a play of some sort. Most of the people had fake personalities and personas in real life. The actual fights, however, was very real; they were to Sam, anyway.

The point of the insult was to try to throw Jillian off her game, to distract her.

"I'm already out here. Might as well not waste their time,"

The Titaness gave a casual shrug as her own grin widened. "Alright, sweetie. I might not be the Phenom -but remember - you agreed to this. That being said, it's gonna be your funeral."

Prior to the bell ringing, Sam sauntered between the opposite turnbuckles, never being too close to them. Instead, she was near the ropes. Sure enough, after the bell rang, she did not just charge from her spot.

Unlike brutes such as the Great Khali and other huge men, Samantha preferred a more analytical method. Her eyes narrowed as she began to study Jillian like an assassin would.

Midsection, perhaps? she mused, trying to gauge where her body might be the weakest.

Nodding to herself, her grin spread further across her face as Jillian moved and tried to sweep her. "Oh .... come now. You don't think other opponents - men and women - have tried that on me? Same shit, new person."

Her eyes narrowed as her right hand reached out. Meanwhile, her left gripped onto the ropes long enough to ensure she didn't lose her balance.

"Try charging at me with something more creative, sweetie," she added, attempting to wrap her hand around Jillian's throat. She would hoist her up, holding her as far in the air as she could if it succeeded.

And then ....

She would slam Jillian down on the mat, flat on her back, releasing the grip on the choke hold she intended to grab her with.

Jillian growled, definitely not appreciating the comment on her hair color as she cracked her knuckles before the match started. This was the first match of the night, so she had to make an effort to show the world that she was the next Diva's Champion. Sure, she had a rough year, but that was one of the blessings of the draft. She didn't have to worry about the last year if she could kick ass this year. However, that didn't seem to be the case as the match started.

Usually the gigantic ones in the WWE had a very predictable wrestling style. They were the ones who threw you around the ring and were weak to having their legs attacked and focused on. The Titaness didn't seem to have that problem, which was immediately worrying. The hold connected and Jillian gasped, placing her hands onto the hand holding her, trying to pry Samantha's grip off of her. The crowd gasped and the announcers began to postulate if the match was going to be over that quickly, before Jillian was slammed down onto the mat, a pseudo chokeslam laying her out.

Jillian coughed and rolled out of the ring, walking around and leaning against one of the turnbuckle poles to catch her breath while the crowd booed her for not continuing the match. She growled and looked towards the crowd before she looked back to Samantha. She kept the ring steps between her and Samantha, and when she got close enough, Jillian tried to kick the steps into Samantha's legs or knees, wanting to stun or at least get her to fall to her knees. If she managed that, Jillian would get up on the ringside and try to launch herself at the Titaness with a flying clothesline, wanting to lay her out.

Although the old saying usually went the best of anything was saved for last, Sam was perfectly fine with being the very first match of the night. She got everything before any of the others, including bragging rights. Although One Night Stand had ended literally just last night, the results for tonight's match mattered just as much. In fact, perhaps more so than the Titaness immediately realized.

True, true, she inwardly mused, smirking as she began quickly pulled up a mental calendar in her head. Vengeance is coming up in about three weeks. May as well get as many fights and wins in before then.

Naturally, Sam was still human so she had experienced the pain of loss.

The only reason it had yet to bother her too much was simple.

If anyone looked at her win to loss ratio, then it was obvious she was better at coming out victorious than not.

Alas, Sam was yanked away from her thoughts as the crowd began to ... boo? Her head turned, then she snickered to see Jillian exiting the ring. "Oh?" she asked, her grin spreading further over her face. "Giving up already, are we?"

It almost appeared that way and she half-expected the bell to ring again.

... Except it didn't.

Instead, she felt a harsh stinging sensation as Jillian dared to go after her legs again.

"Bitch," she growled, smirking as she shakily fell to one knee.

.... However, Samantha wasn't one to be caught completely off guard. The moment she saw Jillian launch herself off the ropes, a plan entered her head as the Titaness snickered and smirked. "Aww. Cute. You came to me."

Slowly, Samantha began standing back up to her feet, literally appearing like she were attempting to meet Jillian in the air.

Only to abruptly reach out with her hands and hold Jillian's body tightly against her own.

She began sliding her arms underneath Jillian, finally stopping as they found the right position; the small of the other girl's back. Hoisting the smaller woman up, she brought her back down - hard - as she attempted to force Jillian to land on the mat thanks to a strong Power bomb technique.

Both women had the same mindset when they got into this match. When they were on a winning streak, it was the biggest jump to their careers if they could manage to bring it to a pay-per-view and win as well. Jillian had unfortunately taken a loss during One Night Stand, losing the chance to compete for the WWE Diva's championship. It was embarrassing and frustrating, which made Jillian all the more desperate to want to take out her frustrations on The Titaness. The only problem was the powerbomb.

Jillian felt the wind leaving her lungs as she landed square on her back, pain flooding her entire form. While the outside of the ring was still fit with mats that would cushion some of the damage from a fall, The Titaness was very tall, and as such, the drop onto her back was way more powerful than most other divas that would attempt the same move.

"Holy shit! Holy shit! Holy shit!" the crowd chanted, suddenly perking up at the display of athleticism from both women. Diva matches were always labeled as the "piss break" matches, considering the stakes and story was usually not built up enough to gather the crowd's attention. But both the Titaness and Jillian happened to have it this time.

"1! 2!" the referree started to count, both women having been out of the ring for a significant amount of time. Jillian flipped onto her stomach to try and massage the tenseness and pain out of her back, while the crowd yelled at her to get back in the ring. She felt dizzy, that powerbomb completely putting Jillian on the defensive as she crawled towards the ropes and slid her way into the ring. She leaned against one of the turnbuckles, completely on the defensive as she tried to beg her way out of the Titaness' harsh wrestling.

"Wait, just give me a second!" she said as she held a hand out, trying to stop the gigantic woman. However she was ready to try and take advantage, as she tried to jump on the first turnbuckle and wrap her arm around the Titaness' head, aiming to bring her head into the top turnbuckle with a disastrous DDT.
