WELCOME TO FROST IFRIT'S REQUEST THREAD!
Introduction/About Me
Well, hello there! I hope you're here looking for adventures, because that's what I have to offer you for today! You may call me Frost, although some have also just called me Ifrit, I don't care. I have been a RPer for over a decade, and I have had much practice in my craft. I prefer to write stories, legends, crafting worlds and universes out of purely nothing, all for the sake of my enjoyment and the enjoyment of those who write with me.
I do have a few rules, and I would appreciate them being observed. I would hate to have to blacklist anyone, but I am getting rather tired of being dropped out of nowhere, or worse, having someone inquire with me, just to ditch out without a word before anything started. It's something of a rather sore jab toward me if you do, so please, let's have fun and respect each other, alright?
Now, since that's out of the way, let's get down to it.
RULES TO FOLLOW
-PLEASE STAY IN COMMUNICATION WITH ME. I would rather hear you say you're not enjoying the RP or even that you want to try to add things than to have you just up and say nothing, and then eventually ditch. I have a habit of saying something when I'm not into it, and I would appreciate the same respect in return.
-DON'T JUST UP AND DISAPPEAR! I can't tell you how many times this happens when I'm writing with someone. I think it's going well, I am having fun, and then bam, nothing. I'll understand if you get busy, I will understand if you're not quite into it fully, but please, SEE RULE ONE. TELL ME. If you just stop replying, and you're gone for three days or more without word, I'll just assume you're no longer interested, and then you'll find yourself not able to try and talk to me or clear it up. THAT SIMPLE.
-DO NOT GOD MOD. Nothing makes me angrier than my own characters, be they NPC's or my personal character for the story, being ripped from my hands and dangled around in front of me on puppet strings. You will get one chance to fix it if you do, after that, I'll cut your strings myself and that will be the end. I've had it happen to me. I'm sure you have had it happen to you. It's annoying. Don't do it.
I understand there are some instances where it's appropriate. Say one of us is going to get shot, the other drags the intended target out of the way. Or in the case of romance, a surprise kiss, a tackling hug where they fall down, there are MANY ACCEPTABLE THINGS. But so help me god, if it turns into "I did this and then you did that," then it's going to be a problem. You know EXACTLY WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT. Please don't be dumb about this.
-IF YOU HAVE IDEAS AND IF YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT SOMETHING AND IF I WILL GO FOR IT, ASK! It's self explanitory. I am NOT going to bite your head off for ideas and questions. This is between the two of us. Thus it takes both of us to craft this.
-DO NOT MAKE ME DRAG THE PLOT ALONE. If you aren't putting in effort, I'm going to ask why, and then we will see what happens. On the same note, if you think I'm not pulling the plot forward with the same effort as you, then ask, and we will figure it out. More often than not, we may just be on two different pages as to what the idea actually is. We can make it work.
REGARDING SMUT
I am pretty vanilla when it comes to kinks, and if that's an issue, I'm sorry. I'm just not OUT THERE with sex, I tried to work with some things, couldn't do it. That said, I enjoy the more "traditional" things, such as vanilla sex, oral (both giving and receiving), anal (for those that want to involve it), light bdsm ideas (tying someone down to the bed maybe, pulling of hair, maybe something a little forceful such as throwing someone onto the bed in the middle of foreplay, etc.).
That said, there are some things that I enjoy a lot more than others, and most of it revolves around clothing styles.
-slutty/revealing clothes are nice, but you can get me going a lot farther by leaving more to the imagination. To quote very stereotypic fetish outfit types, the librarian or the secretary, involving stockings, heels, skirts and button ups. I can also go for things like Latex, Leather, Spandex, depending on the scene. For things like Scifi and Space adventures, bodysuits are always a plus. Fantasy is wide open people, use your imaginations.
However, there are things I will NOT DO under any circumstance.
-scat/watersports/toiletplay
-vomit
-gore
-ageplay (to a degree, a few years is one thing, but past seven and we have a bit of an issue. Just doesn't float my boat, sorry guys.)
I can do bloodplay, depending on the story involved, and the types of characters, thus it has to make sense. If you're slaughtering a character and playing in the blood or causing yourself to bleed because you're trying to be sexy with it, it's not gonna go for me. In the case of vampirism though, where the blood would make sense in the fact that you have to feed, and the blood will inevitably spill in ways, I can do that. It makes sense. Think about it.
I WILL NOT DO RAPE AND NONCONSENSUAL UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! I GAVE IT A SHOT BEFORE AND I JUST DID NOT ENJOY IT IN THE SLIGHTEST! DON'T ASK!
There will be other things that come up later on, but in the end, if you don't know, ask. That's all I can offer you.
CHARACTERS!
We all have these things we like to have when designing our characters and personalities, and personally I think that's the biggest bit of fun. You can BE ANYTHING and you can DO ANYTHING in a roleplay. Your imagination is your limit.
That said, please, I know there are going to be points where you are going to have preference issues when it comes to the characters I play, and the same will be shown back at you. That said, you have the final say on YOUR character, and I have the final say on MY character. I will not paint your portrait, if you don't touch my brushes.
BUT! That doesn't mean that I won't take your preferences into account, and I would love it if you would also show me the same courtesy. I don't mind if you use photographs, animated characters, or even video game characters for references, but please, please, PLEASE, don't just rip off what you find on the internet. That's boring to me, and I really hate it when all you're doing is claiming someone else's face. I'm not looking to play against celebrities and the common Joe, I'm looking to play against YOUR CHARACTER. I think that's pretty fair.
At the same time, just to keep from any confusion, I'm also not looking for specific types. I don't need to play against a pornstar or a celebrity style, with the perfect body, hair, large breasts, huge butt, etc (using female analogies to prove the point, men usually only vary in fitness and musculature, we are plain, I am sorry). If your character has scars, wear them. If your character's hair is all messed up because they got into a fight, show it. If you have small breasts, GREAT. Diversify. Again, not looking for a pornstar/Model bod, not looking for your stereotypical bimbo. I wanna see color, not shades of black, white, and *gasp* grey (Ba-dum-tssss...).
As for personality, same principal applies... I would LOVE for your character to fee unique. I would love to play against someone who develops, who has problems, who gets angry, sad, happy, confused, who just can't deal with all the crap in the world and still finds ways to make it through. I wanna see LIGHT and hear SOUND, I want to know that the character is alive and breathing! I don't need Kristen Stewart! Shots fired, I know... But if you saw her range of emotions, especially facial, you would know EXACTLY what I mean...
That said, personality is everything. If your character is a complete slut, I might just pass. If your character is a raging, angry bitch all the time, again, pass. There has to be reason. Conflict. An optimist will always break eventually, just as a pessimist will find the light at some point. Make me believe.
NOW TO THE FUN STUFF!
Yeah, so I bet most of you skipped right to here, and if you did... Shame on you. I'll know if you didn't read the whole thing, guess what, it's long, I know it is. I do that on purpose. IF you did read the whole thing, that shows me three things...
-You care about me and what I would like to see as much as you care about what you'll see.
-You actually respect me enough to know what I will and won't do, and you are perfectly fine with how I feel on certain things.
-You like to read long paragraphs and soak up information, in order to generate the most awesome experience for us both.
I don't have a lot of plots in mind. I have light, vague cravings, and honestly, if you're looking for "slice of life" or something like that, I have bad news. You won't find it here. I'm burnt out and bored with it. Just doesn't interest me.
WHAT I AM LOOKING TO DO IS...!
-Scifi: This can be anything, from future tech and how it went wrong, to space travel and the dangers that ensue. Aliens, Spaceships, Technology, think things like Halo, Mass Effect, or even something closer to home, like how Call of Duty explored Exo-Skeletal systems, or cybernetics. GET CREATIVE!
-Fantasy: Elves, Dwarves, Kings and Castles, DARK SOULS! If it has swords, magic, and a little old time flair, I would LOVE to accomodate you.
-ERA 1920-1950: You guessed, it, I love the Original Gangster. Pressed suits and fedoras, drugs, guns, and booze. Brothels and espionage in the systems of the Mafia families. Maybe you're the cop looking for a head boss! Maybe you're a hitwoman out to kill off a traitor in the ranks. Or maybe you're at the top of the food chain, commanding legions of willing soldiers. The options are endless.
-APOCALYPSE!!!! : You read that right. Fallout, Wasteland, Zombies and more. Steampunk, Dieselpunk, Cyberpunk galore! Let's make something fun and exciting! Raiders, mutants, experiments amok, the choices are endless and it's all for the taking!
-PIRATES: This is the last one on my list, but it's a personal favorite. Nothing quite gets the blood pumping like sailing the seas, or even the deep reaches of space! Plunder at your whim, capture the unwilling, ransom and slaughter, maybe take slaves for your own pleasure! It's all right here, and it's all waiting for you.
If you have ideas, don't hesitate to come ask about them! As I said, I have NO PLOT on the top of my head to write down, but I can and will generate something upon being asked!
PAIRINGS?!?!?!!?
Yeah, this was inevitable. Pairings. As in what I'm willing to slip into where, pun intended.
Basic list:
-Incest, as if brotherxsister or even cousins is allowed... I don't like doing mom/dadxson/daughter because it's just... The age differences... Aunts and uncles are to a degree, depending on the age difference involved. I've seen a lot of them, try me.
-Generally any malexfemale pairing you can come up with, depending on the story. Lord and servant, Noble and the pauper, the cop and the robber, or just two random joes on the street, it's all good, just have fun with it.
-I do have a soft spot for effeminate boys, I don't know why. Just throwing that out there.
-If the theme is Scifi, we could easilly include various aspects. Synthetic Humans, Androids, Aliens, be creative. We can figure it out.
-Demons and Angels, Vampires, Elves, Lycanthropes, lots of fun stuff from the Fantasy side.
I am pretty sure that covers everything. Long read, I know, a bit confusing maybe, but it's all I have for you. I hope that if you got this far, you have some idea what you would like to see, and that we can work things out from there. I look forward to hearing from you!
