Hello, everyone, my name is Nova and I'm trying to return to the writing game. I don't know why I decided to choose this type of writing, but it is something that peeked my interest. Since I've never written in this manner I'm just looking to get into it and learn the ways of writing like this. I figured I could get on a site that doesn't limit the manner in which you write. So with that being in mind please bare with me and I promise I'll make it worth your while.
Possible Plot:
Wraithguard is a kingdom who stands at the brink of war with their long-time rivals from the south, but Wraithguard has been spiraling out of control since the death of king Amos. He was assassinated by a small group called the Sicarii. With his death the entire kingdom has turned their gaze toward the queen in hopes she could fulfill the promises of the king. The conspirators who assassinated the king got the people to believe the queen could be a tyrant. They attempted to form an emergency state and usurp the throne for themselves, but loyalists to the old king had sided with the queen. Now the nation was on the brink of a civil war with all the pressure leaning on the queen to lead the loyalists against all who opposed her. The queen, however, didn't like the oncoming conflict and attempted to meet the group, but was met with force. The Sicarii arrived once more to kill the queen but was surprisingly stopped by the captain of the royal guard. Although the captain managed to thwart the attack he was badly injured and never recovered from his wounds.
The queen was escorted off to safety being accompanied by the captain's son Xavier. With the queen out of the way, because she was on the run from the Sicarii, the real conspirator emerges and seizes the throne. Now Xavier must protect the queen at all costs and make sure she returns to the throne to reclaim her power. During the journey, the queen and Xavier get acquainted with one another and she begins to fall for him.
I'd like to start the story from this point. I know that the story is rather generic in nature, but I wanted to give the other person a chance to come up with who the queen is. Please bare with me I'm new to this, so if it seems to elementary for you I apologize for it coming off as so.
