When the Office Gets Busy, So Do We [Seductive X Niah]

Jason Williams was a nineteen year old college sophomore who had enjoyed his life as a campus celebrity, being a two sport start in both football and basketball. Along with this, his father was a successful businessman which gave him money to spend and no need to work throughout the semester, and helping to land him a summer internship with an advertising agency.

While in school he had majored in business and joined a fraternity, living the ideal college life so many dreamed of. He was naturally smart and talented and didn't have to work hard for much, causing envy in the other boys and interest and list in many of the women. He rarely found himself without something to do and never found himself without someone to take home, at least not when he wanted to.

He had been in his position as an intern for about two weeks and had been enjoying the work, utilizing the skills he'd been learning in school rather than letting his mind rot on a beach somewhere. He had also been enjoying one of his supervisors, at least her looks whenever he'd get the chance. She'd been rather nice to him, almost too nice, but he want going to jeopardize a great internship by trying to make a move on his boss.

Mikaela Sheppard gathered up her paperwork and exited her office at quite a pace. If she wasn't careful she'd find herself late for this morning's meeting and that was the last thing she needed. The company had been especially busy these past few months and at times like this the CEO's were always keeping an even more watchful eye out for mistakes.

The thirty-five year old woman had worked for the advertising firm for ten years and had managed to climb her way up to a head supervisory role. Mikaela had always been the hardworking type, perhaps that's way she found herself unmarried with no children in her middle age. She wasn't adverse to the thought of settling down, however it also wasn't something that she felt the desperate need to do either. She was happy with her life and that's all that mattered.

It wasn't as if she had to look hard for male attention, she kept herself in shape and found that a lot of men found her attractive. However the relationships never lasted, her record so far was five years. Lately her dating life had hit a slump, making the arrival of the new interns interesting to say the least. The company hired a few interns every year, some stayed on and others just gained some experience with the company before finding work elsewhere. This year they had three new interns and one in particular had caught Mikaela's attention.

Her dark eyes glanced over to Jason as she entered the main room just in time for the meeting. Her boss then began by speaking about profit margins, improvements and the like. After about twenty minutes, he moved on to giving everyone their tasks for the day. "Mikaela; the Amore launch is tonight, I need you to head over there and make sure everything is on track. Take one of the interns with you." He added before moving onto someone else. Once he was done, he called an end to the meeting and the employees began to exit the room. Mikaela ventured over to the interns and looked to Jason with a smile. "You mind helping me out today?" She asked the teenage male.

Most of the meeting's topics that day were new to Jason, at least in the concept of the company he was working with. Their target profit margins were so high that they were working most of the staff overtime, providing a stressful working environment for most, but one that a select few could thrive in. Jason was one of those, able to get the essentials done in a short amount of time, with the rest to spare on things like actually learning the industry, or soon, more enjoyable excursions.

When the meeting adjourned and the CEO instructed Mikaela to take an intern with her to the Amore launch he almost instantly saw her turn to him. The other interns weren't bad, but they didn't stack up, physically or work ethic-wise, compared to him. He had interacted with Mikaela only a few times prior, she was one of his supervisors but he had a few, each giving him different tasks to handle for them.

"I'd be glad to, Miss Shappard." He replied with a slightly cocky smile, glad to see the middle-aged beauty had selected him without second thought. "I'm free for the rest of the day, so I'm ready when you are. Did you want to drive or would you prefer to handle it?" He asked as he couldn't help but let his eyes wander her curves.

The other interns grimaced at Mikaela's decision, especially the young girl. Amore was one of the leading giants in fragrance, they sponsored amazing events, were promoted by A list celebrities and had a long list of very high class clientele. Tonight they were throwing a launch party to promote their latest perfume. All their top clients would be there and it was obvious that the female teenager had been hoping to rub shoulders with the latest Hollywood heartthrob. This is exactly why Mikaela hadn't chosen her! She didn't need this launch jeopardized by a giddy intern who couldn't stop drooling over the guests. Jason might well find some of the models attractive, but she was pretty sure he'd remain professional regardless. Plus there was the added bonus that the young man was very nice to look at.

Shaking off that last thought, Mikaela gave a positive nod. She noted that the male's dark eyes seemed to drift slightly and tried her best to hide a smile. Was he checking her out? Surely not, she was sixteen years older than him! Mikaela turned and began to leave the room, expecting Jason to follow her. "We'll take the company car" she replied. Even in heels and a pencil skirt she kept to her fast pace, her hips swaying as she marched towards the elevator. Stepping inside she pressed the parking-lot button and glanced back towards Jason. "Oh and Williams... try to keep eye contact." She said in a joking manner, though there could have been a hint of flirtation there as well. Mikaela began flicking through her papers before handing over a couple of sheets to the teenager. "Guest list for tonight... I need you on the phone to Amore's people to see if there's any alterations, substitutions, absences or bans." She began to explain.

Jason had been more than excited to get the invite, but it only made it better when he saw the look of jealous in the other intern's eyes. She had wanted to go for the guests and the extravagance of the event--he wanted to go for the company. He was ready and willing to prepare for this event so that their company came off professional yet as also a group of people that knew how to entertain.

"I'll get right on it Miss Sheppard." He said with a grin as she handed him the guest list after calling him out for his wandering eyes. "Eye contact, got it. I'll work on it." He said loud enough for everyone to hear. "But in the car, no promises." He said under his breath as he walked back by her and back to his desk to confirm guests, he wanted to make it a bit more obvious that the interest was there if it hadn't been confirmed in her mind.

After a good hour and a half at his desk all the guests had been confirmed with only a few turning it down, with a few backup guests invited last minute to keep numbers even. And with that, all that was left for him was to wait for Mikaela to return when she was ready to leave.
