Words and Phrases That Tickle Your Fancy
Ah, the beauty of language. Let us share together in an orgy of the written word, those terms and idioms that are delightful to utter. Those words that taste good to say and those phrases that are aesthetically pleasing to the ear. Tell them to me.
Some of my favorites: ellipsis betwixt kumquat "You're a nasty piece of business." "You read me like something with words written on it." "Stop saying words!" "I don't get mad, I get stabby." If someone looks like they need to be stabbed, I call them "stab-ilicious." And on occasion I use the word "knife" as a verb. Ex: "Dude, that guy totally looks like he's gonna jump out and knife me." Okay. Now you go. ^_^ |
