The sun dips below the horizon, signaling the end to another day. Shops closed, bars open, and people head home after a long day or headed out to begin a long night of fun. While people head to their destinations one woman walked among then. The tall redhead seemed like just another city dweller either heading home or to a bar for a stiff drink. But no, her day was just beginning.

Miranda was headed to an interview for a place to live and she was glad her potential roommate didn't seem to mind having her stop by at such odd hours. It was simple to convince her however. She just said she works at night, which was not too far from the truth. So that's what she tells people and they leave it at that.

Miranda looked at the paper with the address she wrote. Checking the building number just to be sure she had the right one then headed inside and knocked on the apartment number she was given.

It was a damn shame, thought Tamera, that she was needing to search for a new roommate again. A lithe, slender hand swept through her hair, fingers combing through the thick black waves of hair that framed her face and fell in a chaotic mess down her shoulders and back. Her last roommate, Chris, had been a member of a familiar pack from home that her family had befriended generations ago. It sucked she was losing him as daily company, but the man had fallen in love, and she would never stand between someone and their mate. It did mean she needed to find a new roommate though, as loathe as she was to begin the process of trying to mesh her life together with another person, she had little choice due to the rise in rent.

Tamera leaned back on the plush leather couch, eyes flitting over the paperwork of the roommate agreement, feeling herself frown as she wondered if this latest inquiring potential would be worth her time or not. The woman had answered her ad but had requested a later meeting at night stating she tended to work evenings. Tamera wasn't bothered by this, herself being a bit of a night owl due to her....well, habits and abilities. The space she lived in was a large spacious, two bedroom apartment that would hopefully give her and her new roommate both some space if they needed it, which Tamera already knew she would whenever the full moon came out to play.

Right on time her sensitive ears picked up the sound of someone outside her front door, and she glanced up with sharp eyes. Her new potential roommate it seems was here. She heard the knock but didn't rise to get the door, instead simply calling out "Come on in, it isn't locked!" Before returning to the paperwork in her lap.

Miranda heard the invite to enter so she opened the door and strode inside. She took in the spacious apartment and nodded to herself. She could make this work. Stepping further into the apaelrtment she fixed her gaze on the raven hair woman in the couch. Then stopped in her tracks when she smelled it. The musky, feral scent of were. Vampires, like most creatures of the fea, had a strong scense of smell. She could pick up the scent all over. She sensed both male and female were. Meaning either the woman had a mate, or her former roommate was male. She also knew that this woman would pick up on her scent. The strong scebt of blood and graveyard dirt that all vampires carry.

Miranda shook her head and cleared her throat. "Yes...I'm the one who called about the room for rent." She said, hoping this wasn't a waste of time.
