Scottsdale, Arizona in the fall. It was still warm this time of the year as Mara walked her way through the streets of downtown crying and feeling very frustrated about the events that happened earlier in the day. As the petite blonde haired woman walked through the streets in a red long sleeve shirt and a pair of black pants while wearing a pair of black sandals, she knew that this wasn't the first time that she walked down the streets crying.

"Why? Why does he have to hurt me so much?" She whispered to herself as more tears flowed down her sky blue eyes. What she didn't notice in her tears was that she was walking past the front of a gym that had many windows showing the inside of it. Her own emotions were almost shattered as she slowed down her steps to take a seat at the bench right in front of the gym. "Why? Why? Why?" She asked herself as she sobbed away. In her dreams, she wished for a knight to sweep her away off of her feet and take her away from this abuse. Little did she know that this knight that she hoped would show up would be someone that she least expected.

Sarah say in her office and worked through the most recent payments from customers. It was a never ending task, seeing to the bills and payments that kept her gym running. She was just about to close down her computer when she saw an attractive woman walking past her window. The athletic dark haired woman almost looked back down to her computer screen. But she suddenly noticed the woman mumbling to herself and crying.

So dressed in a tight black tank top that hugged her muscular form almost as tightly as her yoga pants did she stood and trotted out of her office and then through the main doors. Sarah had never been one to pry. She didn't like getting involved in other people's business. But for some reason this time was different. Something called to her to see if the woman was ok.

So once her running shoes hit the hard pavement she strode up next to the woman who had just about passed Sarah's gym and asked in a soft voice. "Are you alright?"

Mara's tears were still streaming down her cheeks as she sat in the bench. She had no idea that this very athletic woman just walked outside until she heard the soft question being asked from her. Her voice seemed to be very gentle and concerned. Normally, she would have been shocked and startled by this woman but for some strange reason, she didn't feel any of those scary emotions near her.

Turning her head softly with just a touch of runny mascara running down her cheeks, Mara let out a small sniffle as she tried as best as she could to explain herself without getting scared from fear of him coming back to try to hit her again. "Me and... my boyfriend... we got into a... uhh... an argument and... I... uhh... couldn't take anymore and ran." She sobbed while running through some white lies. Sure they were in an arguement and it was true that she did run away but the truth lied under her clothing as she winced a bit from the pain of being hit multiple times in the stomach and arms.

Clenching her stomach, the pain started to become almost unbearable as her arms moved over towards her stomach. "Owww." She cried out in her pain. She knew that it would be hard to conceal the entire truth but right now, she was hoping for a safe place... A place where she could not have to worry about him hitting her anymore.
