A promise of sanctuary and safety was all that could be seen on the signs approaching Terminus. It became quite obvious that there was indeed no sanctuary here. It had been a couple months since the prison incident that ended up separating the group and when they had come back together it wasn't exactly under happy circumstances. At first it was the ten members of the group together before Rick, Daryl, Carl, and Michonne had just been forced into the container. Rick made it clear to everyone that they were getting out of this alive and getting out soon. These people here at Terminus made their intentions clear of what they wanted to do and every second was urgent. Including everyone in the group there were fourteen people and one other woman that no one had seen before this. They might have a good amount of numbers but what they didn't have was weapons. They had been picked clean and that was definitely not promising.

Among these people was Tara Chambler. This world was really no place for people like her. She was friendly, compassionate, and honest despite her hard exterior. It was really just a facade she put on for purposes of self-preservation. She felt a huge amount of guilt for the attack on the prison even though she wanted no part of it and was totally against the idea. She was just stuck in a bad situation and it was clear that when Rick Grimes entered the car, he recognized her though didn't say anything. She had to make it clear that she was sorry about what happened and she needed to explain herself. She was really a good woman and hoped this group would be accepting of her just as Maggie, Glenn, and the others were.

Presently, she sat all huddled up in the corner. Right beside of her was a woman with dark brown hair and dark brown eyes that reminded her a bit of herself, actually. She was going insane and she was terrified and needed someone to talk to or just to take her mind off what was going on. Besides, she had to admit that she was really cute though now probably wasn't a good time for romancing her. Talking wouldn't hurt though. Turning to the woman slightly she cleared her throat and kept her voice at a whisper. "Hi... I'm Tara. What's your name?" She asked gingerly, giving her a small smile, probably not even visible in the darkness.

Near the middle of the car stood nineteen year old Jack Howell with his long time girlfriend Beth Greene. Jack and Beth had been together for quite some time, really. In fact they have been together nearly half their life span, literally. They grew up together and began "dating" in middle school. Unlike ninety-nine percent of these "relationships" that spring up at this age, this one did not falter or ever end. Nearly a decade later in the apocalypse, Jack and Beth are still just as in love as the first day they admitted it to one another. They had plans about growing up and getting married but it seemed that a massive wrench had been thrown their way. Still, after a few years of dealing with walkers, they remain in tact and in love. Jack will hardly let Beth out of his sight and now he was more protective over her than ever before. He knew what they were faced with.

There wasn't much he could do now so all the young man did was hold Beth tight in his arms. They were always quite an unconventional pair. Jack was the star quarterback of the school even only in his sophomore year. He was tall, muscular, and athletic - looking like a good match for the head cheerleader. However, he did not want to date a cheerleader. He was content with his farm girl and that never changed. As time passed, Jack was on up there with the leaders of the group. Of course Rick was the leader, Daryl was his right hand man and Glenn was probably third in the rankings but Jack was definitely an asset to the group. He was young, strong, fast, and smart. He could shoot well and hunt. The young man was definitely an asset they could not afford to lose. Right now he wasn't thinking about that. He kept quiet and huddled close to the love of his life as they waited, thinking out a plan for what to do. All he knew was that if anyone as so much tried to hurt Beth they would have to kill him dead before he let that happen.

Five days ago, Adrian Harrison's life had been good - or at least as good as it could be when the dead wouldn't actually die. Her group consisting of her, her brother, the best friend she'd made since the outbreak two years ago and the best friend's seventeen year old daughter had been holed up in a cabin down by the lake. The place had been perfect - they had been there around a month now, and fishing had been a sustainable source of food with the lake and an abandoned boat right at their fingertips.

Four days ago, that all changed. Adrian was awoken in the middle of the night to loud noises outside, and they had suspected walkers until loud voices innterrupted the shuffle of heavy feet. Male voices called out, and said they were going to check the cabin for the dead. There were at least four and they were cocky pieces of shit if they were going to yell during the night hours, begging to call walkers upon the cabin and both the people inside and out. Peeking through a curtained second floor window, Adrian eyed them - four, five. One with a crossbow and four with big guns. Her group had nothing of the sort - everyone had a knife, and she a nearly empty pistol, but other than that all they had was Megan's old bow. They were helpess. They had to get out - Adrian silently and quickly woke everyone while the men were still loud outside, and they escaped through the dead of night to a small shack that they'd found the week before. It wouldn't be the same as their cabin, no where near, but it would due.

Three days ago, they were fleeing the shack in the dawn light, doubling back towards the cabin to see if maybe those men had only stuck around for the night. Their fishing pole was still perched in a steel can connected to the dock, and the men were outside yelling. Adrian didn't get close enough to hear. Instead they turned in the opposite direction - their small sanctuary would be left vehind. They found train tracks and a sign telling them to head towards a sanctuary. Together, they elected to head towards the place, dubbed "Terminus", and they were good until they left the train tracks and deviated in to the woods, wanting to find shelter for the night. All hell broke loose as the sun dipped below the horizon, painting the sky darker shades of black with every moment that passed. Walkers began to come in on them frome very direction, and they fought for their lives. Adrian watched her brother go down, a walker coming down on top of him, and when she looked back Megan and her daughter were nowhere in sight.

Time had been both impossibly slow and impossibly fast since then. Adrian had perched herself in the bough of a tree that was high enough off the ground that she couldn't be reached and spent the night there, with her head lopped sideways against another ard branch. Bright green summer leaves hid her, and when exhaustion hit in the dead of night she was never more happy to be a still sleeper. She'd started back towards Terminus several hours later, praying to a god she didn't believe in that Megan would get back on track, that Rachel would be with her, and that Terminus would be everything that she had ever hoped for.

She was wrong. She was way, way wrong - about Terminus, about Rachel being there. Megan was there, but her daughter wasn't and it wasn't what either of them had expected. Instead of a sanctuary she found a nightmare trapped in a boxcar - first only her, Megan and a couple others and then a group was shoved in - easily ten people who she could barely make out the features of in the darkness, and four more what seemed like mere minutes (though it was probably longer) later. She'd been there a day at that point, she guessed - sunlight had peaked through the crack in the door, vanished and returned at full tilt, so she could only assume. Megan was out - she looked broken and defeated, and after losing Rachel just moments after the group was torn apart, she'd found Terminus in the depths of the night. She hadn't been afraid to die, she'd told Adrian.

Now here they were - trapped. The others seemed to all know each other, and one of the newest members of the boxcar party seemed to be taking the lead, talking about escape plans and all that. Adrian wasn't sure that such a thing was possible (or that she was even welcome to be involved...), and instead she was huddled in the back corner against cold metal walls, close to a rather attractive woman who seemed... Almost like she didn't belong, even though she'd come as part of them. It wasn't anything she said, but more they way she was sitting on the outskirts of the group. There was dead silence in their corner until the other woman cleared her throat and spoke up, pulling Adrian's gaze from staring blankly towards the middle of the car over to her. She gave the closest thing to a smile that she could before replying in as friendly a tone as she could muster - which wasn't much given the circumstances. "I'm... I'm Adrian. I'd say nice to meet you, but I don't think this is anywhere near pleasant."

Towards the middle of the car, Beth Greene was tucked safely in to the arms of her boyfriend - or as safe as she could be, relative to the situation. Her back was pressed against the smooth muscle of his torso and his arms were wrapped around her, tucked beneath her breasts against the base of her sternum. Her breathing was sharp and shallow and her nerves were high. Only mere hours ago, the majority of her group had been shoved in to this car after arriving at what they thought would be sanctuary. They had only just reunited after the prison had burned, and somehow along the way Maggie and Glenn had picked up three new people - a redheaded man who looked like he could kill in a second, some guy with a mullet and a girl who looked oddly familiar - but Beth couldn't place just how. Having only met them, she wasn't sure if she trusted them yet, but if Maggie did then she would give the newcomers a chance. After all, Maggie was now the only blood she had left.

However, there was the developing chance that she would never need to trust the newcomers, and that was weighing on Beth. Moreso than that, the possibility that she would lose her life, or lose Jack, some time soon was ever present and lingering over her like a bird of prey waiting to swoop on down on its target. Only a month ago, she'd lost her father and then soon after her home, and she'd hoped that Terminus would be what it had advertised. She'd been praying that she wouldn't need to lose anyone else she loved ever since.

Beth clutched at her lover's hold on her, with her hands clasped loosely over his and the flesh of her arms pressed to the muscular flesh of his. Back in school they had looked almost weird side by side because of the stark differences between them. He was rough and muscular, a football player and a good one at that, while she had been almost meek in her younger years and was the blonde haired, blue eyed farmer's girl. She was small and sweet and didn't take up too much space. Over time she'd grown out of that, grown in to a stronger and more confident woman. The outbreak had enhanced that, and the timid girl that people had once known was a stronger but still passionate young woman who had proven that she could hold her own - even if Jack liked to intervene just in case every time. She loved him - God, she loved him. When they were young she'd heard many people say that they wouldn't last, but they had - they'd last until the day one of them took their last breathe.

Stroking the side of Jack's thumb with her own, Beth arched her head to look up at him with soft but worn blue eyes. Rick had just suggested that they start trying to form weapons out of whatever they could find in the trailer, gone through a plan to take those outside down as soon as they opened the door to the boxcar. "Maybe he's right, maybe this'll work. We'll be out - and everyone's back together now. We have Rick and Daryl back."

At this point, everyone inside of the car was desperate. They might not have had any weapons but an improvisation as Rick suggested was definitely the best bet. The belt of some pants, the zipper teeth of a jacket, the wood off the train car itself… they needed to use something, anything to try and help save themselves. This place, Terminus, had a history. They would not know it but the very people to hold them captive now used to have this place as a real sanctuary until some evil people arrived and had other plans and put them into this same position. From that point on, Gareth made sure that they all knew it was either kill or be killed and their entire outlook and perspective on life now was permanently altered and that was how it got to this point. They would have food for a long time now with all these people and they also would not mind having a bit of fun with them as well. They all congregated and chatted now away from the car as they went over how things were going to be. Now they were calculated and precise in everything that they do, never to be outdone or risk what they had risked a long time ago. It was no longer about doing something good or being human beings, it was all about survival.

Tara listened to this mystery woman speak her name and she made a valid point. She would say the exact same thing except these circumstances were not something to be happy about. However, she did have that brief moment of just flipping out inside about meeting a beautiful woman with a cute name and a pretty smile even though it was small and pained. Something in those brown eyes of hers showed hurt and sorrow. She had definitely been through a lot as they all had and there was something itching inside of the young woman that wanted to comfort Adrian and help her even though they might have just met. If they actually do make this out alive, which Tara wasn’t sure that they would, she might take a chance with trying to talk to Adrian and see what kind of friendship they could have. Hell, the world had already ended anyways and being rejected wasn’t nearly as bad as being bitten by a walker, so what did it matter?

“Yeah, you are right. This is a bad circumstance and it’s not pretty. I haven’t been with this group long but they are really nice people and I think they know what they are doing.” Tara spoke, trying to give some reassurance mainly to herself that they were going to be alright. She wanted to talk with her more and learn about Adrian but now was definitely not the time. She simply reached down into her pockets for something, anything to use as a weapon. There was some old necklace she found that she tried to keep for good luck. It had a sharp end and that was about all she had. “Who would have thought that someone would bring a necklace to a gun fight?” She mused quietly to herself in a sad tone. This wasn’t right. She never could understand what would make some people turn out this way as the people at Terminus was.

Jack slowly let his gaze fall down into Beth’s blue eyes. Those eyes have always been so important to him. There was never a better feeling than waking up in the morning and turning over to see those baby blues the first thing as he was awake. She was so innocent and so sweet. She didn’t need to be in this kind of world and it wasn’t fair. The major reason for Beth’s maturity and knowledge about survival was in fact because of her boyfriend Jack. Obviously he always looked to do everything for her that he could in this time, to protect her and find food for her and keep her warm but he knew what the reality was. He might not be around forever but he would be damned if Beth wouldn’t. This was the kind of love where her life was more important than his in his own opinion. He trained Beth with everything he could think of to try and get her to take a grasp and an understanding of this world and how to live. However he didn’t plan on leaving her anytime soon. They did promise each other forever and he did not want this world to ruin their plans. He knew that if some reason that he lost Beth, he would not be willing to push forward anymore and that was a fact. So far they have done alright together and this was probably the closest brush with death since the prison ordeal. He felt like such a failure when Hershel was killed. The old man already accepted Jack into the family long ago and unlike the stereotypical ways of relationships, he adored the boyfriend of his daughter and the way he treated Beth and protected her in the outbreak form beginning until his dying day made him know that his daughter was in good hands. Jack wished he could have saved Hershel but he couldn’t do it and while it was definitely not his fault, he blamed himself for it.

Finally, Jack pulled his arms away from Beth and then knelt down as he tried to think of what to do for a weapon. The first thing he did was unlace his shoes, taking the shoestrings to maybe use as a choking weapon if he got the chance. Other than that, he also took out his belt and replicated Abraham’s contraction of tearing the meal loop where he could have something like a dagger in between his fingers. It was a nice little contraption if he said so himself. After this was done, he stood again and leaned down to press a very gentle kiss to Beth’s cheek. “I love you Beth. We will find a way out of this and I promise I will not let anyone hurt you.” He spoke firmly and confidently. If anyone even got near Beth, they would have to put a bullet through his head to stop him.

All of a sudden, Daryl spoke up after looking through the cracks of the car.

“All right, I’ve got four of them pricks coming our way…” He spoke in a dry, calm voice as usual.

Nodding, Rick stood and everyone gathered near the door. “You all know what to do. Go for their eyes first.” It went silent and then a man’s voice called out, instructing them to have their backs against the wall on either side of the car but of course, no one moved. The next thing to happen surprised everyone as there was noise of walking on top of the metal cart and then the top opened just for a smoke grenade type of device to be dropped inside. “Move!” Abraham shouted and everyone dispersed. Tara ran right back to the corner where she and Adrian sat before and Jack grabbed his blonde lover and pulled her tight to his chest, back away from the grenade as he tried to shield Beth from what was about to happen.

Everyone was coughing as the doors open and the men entered with gas mask on their faces. They ended up grabbing Bob, Rick, Daryl, Glenn, Jack, and Beth from the car. The men were lined up beside three other men that they hadn’t seen before, tied up and force down onto their knees in front of some kind of contraption that would be used to catch the blood. Jack looked around and once his senses came to him, he saw to his side that they had Beth with a cleave gag in her mouth, hands zip tied behind of her back and ankles zip tied together as well and then Jack just went off in a rage. He hopped up and there wasn’t much he could do but he threw a furious head butt at the man closest to him but that was about as far as he got until three others gathered around him, one with a baseball bat, one with a pipe, and one holding him as he was hit in the stomach over and over again, knocking the wind out of him until he was finally tossed back down roughly beside the others. He felt so helpless. They had Beth and he couldn’t do anything about it.

Meanwhile in the car the smoke was clearing out and there was mass panic. Tara looked around to notice everyone that was gone and they all tried to look out of the car to try and see anything, something, but there was nothing to be seen. Everyone was dead silent now and Tara was shivering, curled up in the corner now, breathing rapidly and obvious scared out of her mind.

Now one man started at the far right holding a bat, hitting the person in the back of the head while another slit their throat. They did this all the way down until they got to Glenn and before it could happen, Gareth stopped it by asking for the male’s shot count to write it down in a note pad. While this was going on, Jack groaned and was trying his best to stand up and get moving but as soon as he made a move, another guy had punched him right back down. Jack was desperate, desperate to get to Beth.

Everything happened fast - mere moments passed between when those in the boxcar began to improvise weapons and when the sound of footsteps began to stomp towards the cabin.

"I hope they know what they're doing." She wasn't part of their group, though. Adrian was smart enough to know that even though they were all in this car together, she would be the casualty if shit hit the fan. She was also utterly unarmed now - they'd taken her gun and her knife, and her dirt covered capris and tank top didn't exactly having many hiding places. The closest thing she had to a weapon was the metal ring on her middle finger - a thick band with a smaller, spinning band in the middle. It wasn't much but it was all she had, and it would pack much more of a punch than her knuckles alone if she was brought to it. She fumbled with it, prying it from its spot on her left hand and switching it to her dominant hand. After the switch, she clasped her bent fingers with her other hand, bit her gum between her molars and then shook her head.

"Fuck." She was distant, and the words came as barely more than a mumble, but then she forced her head back up. The only pieces of her brother that remained were his nose on her face and the ring he'd given her for her sixteenth birthday. That was long, long ago now - at least five years, maybe six, but she'd still never lose it. She never could - there was no time left, she'd never get any more moments, or presents or laughs. Now wasn't the time to be grieving, but she was, and she had a hard time knocking herself out of it. The sweet voice of the woman beside her, Tara, managed to slightly quell it and pull her back to reality. Necklace to a gun fight, wooden shanks to a gun fight, stainless steel ring on a middle finger to a gun fight. The odds weren't looking good, regardless of how sure of himself the leader seemed to be.

"I knew this place was too good to be true, but we said we'd come here, and then we were split apart so I had to just in case they made it out alive..." Adrian's gaze switched girls, looking to where Megan was sitting in the corner. Her eyes were open but she looked almost lifeless, and seeing that hurt Adrian to watch. Letting out a sigh, she glanced back to the woman at her other side. Tara was.. intriguing - at least as intriguing as one could be when all you know about them is their name and that they're in the same mess as you. "My brother's dead, her daughter's dead, we're trapped in boxcar by crazy people and trying to defend ourselves with shivs-" she was still trying to make sense of everything, and would have kept going but the one she thought was called Daryl called out that the people of Terminus were approaching.

Beth had never left the middle of the car except to move slightly to the side, and even when Jack had to release her to prepare for what was happening she never moved too far away from her love. She followed in his footsteps, pulling her belt from her jeans and wrapping the length of it around her hand. From there, everything became a blur. A grenade was tossed in to the boxcar and havoc ensued. She reached for Jack's shirt and he pulled her close and away from the blast. She let out an "I love you" to him as the device went off, and smoke began to flood the room.

Unable to see or breathe through the smoke, she let out a scream as an unknown hand grabbed her and the next thing she knew she was bound and immobile with a gag in her mouth. Her bright blues grew wide as she came to and realized what was before her - just in time for Jack to manage to get to his feet. She screamed, a muffled noise through the gag, as he was beat down, and began to try to squirm her way out of the hand ties. They were tight, though - tight enough that they would leave a mark on her wrist.

She winced as Jack was thrown in to spot and the men began going through the people leaned over the tank. First a bat to the skull, then a blade to the neck, efficiently bleeding them out. She shivered - they started with the people she'd never met, but she was still close to the beginning, after Glenn. Her heart rate peaked and her breathing raced, and she let out as close to a scream as she could when the man with the bat prepared to swing the bat towards Glenn's head.

She couldn't call what she felt next relief, but it was as close as she could muster in the circumstances. The disruption gave Glenn a few more moments, gave her a few more minutes, and she spent the time before the man moved to swing again praying for a miracle. The hit was interrupted again when the man with the knife didn't answer his shot count, and Beth's eyes locked on the beaten form of her boyfriend. If they died today... If today was the last time they saw each other, it would be like this. She could easily not make it through today, and their chances weren't looking good - the ties didn't want to give, no one was getting free.

"Six from A, three from D?" Gareth spoke of them like they were cattle and Beth was disgusted. He entered a staredown with Rick after, talked about some guns, and appeared to be about to walk off.

That was when the miracle came - as a third strike at Glenn's head was being made, an explosion rung through the air. It was close, really close - within the walls of Terminus even. Garreth ran off and Beth caught sight of Rick working his hand tie down with his wooden knife. The other men in the room were too busy aruging to notice when Rick freed himself. She immediately called out to Jack, desperate to have her ties undone so that she could flee the scene and, hopefully, rescue the others.

Back in the boxcar, everyone was beginning to panic again after the blast went off, but one of them tried to reason with them. They needed to be calm, after all - get something to fight with, think like they would make it until tomorrow. The familiar growl of walkers grew stronger with every moment, as did the screams in the background. The whir of Maggie trying to use the chain of her pocketwatch to cut another piece of wood off of the cart stood out the most to Adrian, though, as it was the first sound she caught on to after her ears stopped ringing. She'd struggled to move immediately after the past, struck with obvious fear and startled out of her mind.

What if no one was coming, though? What if the only noise they ever heard was the walkers, because the others had been killed in the blast? They had no way at all to know what was going on.

In the moments between the raid on the car and the explosion, Tara was still remaining curled up in the corner, unable to function. Her mind was in a totally different place. The thing that plagued Adrian was the loss of people she held dear and Tara could definitely relate. Maybe if she just would not have let the Governor into their family’s apartment and not followed him anywhere else, everyone would still be here. She thought of the faces of her families and loved ones and realized how much it hurt to not be with them here on this Earth but the way things were headed, they might not be apart too much longer.

Over the course of the past few years, Jack had definitely grown close with everyone in the group so when it was Glenn’s turn to meet the fate, he wanted to try and help but his body was already so beaten and battered that he could hardly function as it was. However, the stalling seemed to help because a sudden explosion rang out. It would be both good and bad for them because it would undoubtedly attract every walker to this location for miles around. Even if that was true, it might give them a chance to make some kind of crazy escape and that was what they had to hope for. When he heard Beth’s muffled screams and cries, it was almost like a new breath of life was breathed into his fight and he shot up, twisting so hard and ripping his wrists apart as it broke through the rope. Then, he pulled the cloth out of his mouth and quickly undid the knots from his ankles. To think that all those times of tying Beth up would come in handy. These knots were nothing compared to what he had done to Beth in the bedroom before, but now was not a time to think about that.

While Rick and Jack were going about to unbind themselves, the two men with the job of slaughtering them were arguing back and forth. Finally, Rick had popped up and stabbed the first man in the neck with the sharp shiv he concealed earlier before attacking the second man and sending him to the same fate. The very first thing that Jack did was hop up to his feet and sprint over to Beth while Rick untied Glenn and Daryl. Upon arriving at Beth, Jack noticed something. “I’ve got you, baby.” He spoke and gave her a quick peck on the forehead. He looked down and went to untie her but noticed it wasn’t that easy. “Oh… Shit…” He muttered and shook his head. They used zip ties on Beth and they could only be cut off and the only sharp thing that they had was Rick’s wooden shiv that was now dislodged in the dead man’s neck.

After the explosion rang out, Tara was quick to stand to her feet while listening to the panic and speculation of everyone in the car. Eugene had bent down to try and do something to get the door open because “There might not be anyone left to do it.” To that, Tara gave him a stern “Shut up” response because they did not need that kind of thinking right now. Hopefully their people out there had figured out something and was about to come to the rescue even as the sound of walkers were growing closer and closer, close enough where it could be deciphered that what they heard was indeed walkers and not humans. That was way too close for comfort, obviously. Carl and Maggie assured everyone that their people were okay and that they needed to be ready to fight with them when they returned.

Back in the compound, everyone was grabbing some kind of weapon and all Jack could find was a baseball bat. “Listen to me Beth, they used zip ties on you. I don’t have anything to cut them off you. Please do me a favor and just trust me Beth. I’m going to get you out of here. I love you.” He assured her and kissed the blonde over her gag. From that point on, he had to stand up and hoist Beth over his shoulders as he walked along with the other four men into a nearby room that seemed to have been where the “food” was taken and where they would have went next. Rick made it clear that if they crossed anyone from Terminus that no mercy should be given. The gunfire and screaming around them continued and it was now obvious that the walkers were flooded into the yard and up near the containers. They all ran out and Jack made sure to keep Beth secure in his arms. The first container had a deranged man run out to only be taken down by a walker and all six of these people were forced to slide down a small alley to let the horde pass. No need to draw attention to themselves.

The people from Terminus were now walking down an adjacent alley with assault rifles, gunning down walkers. Rick waited for the last one to pass so he could attack him, grab the gun, and shoot the others. Meanwhile Eugene was still hard at work on the door and Tara was still in the corner. She turned to Adrian and whispered. “How are you two holding up?” She spoke in a soft, gentle, and a sweet voice that did show true concern for this woman she just met. A couple moments later, everyone was pressuring Eugene about some kind of cure and he explained where he worked and how this cure would come about, fighting fire with fire. After that brief conversation, everyone went back to business with trying to construct a weapon. Tara figured Adrian might have some questions about what she heard so he decided to tell her.

“That man right there is a scientist. Like you just heard, he worked in D.C. and he says that he has a cure. We’ve been trying to get him to Washington D.C. where all his equipment is to do this. If we can get out here and get him there… then maybe we can end this and have things go back to normal. I know that probably sounds crazy but I guess I still just have to have some hope, you know?” She shrugged, turning to face the woman, their eyes locked on one another.

He... He wasn't going to untie her!? What in the world had made these people decide to put her of all people in the zip ties. Sure, the thought of him having her tied up was usually something that got her going but this? This was not what she meant by that. There was nothing she could do but trust him, though, and when she was lifted up and thrown over his shoulder she tried not to panic. She wanted to protest but couldn't for multiple reasons - one, there was just no way to free her and two, the cloth gag that sealed her mouth muffled any attempt at speaking that she tried to make.

In any other situation, having him tie her up and throw her over his shoulder would have been so so hot but this was not one of those situations, and it definitely was not the time to think about that. The group moved fast and a year ago, she probably would have thrown up when she caught sight of a skinned and gutted human torso as they rushed through the compound in an attempt to clear a path out. This was a bumpy ride no matter how securely he held her, but hopefully it would be over soon. Not only was she vulnerable and of no use at the moment, she was taking Jack out of commission by needing his aid like this. The others would make sure nothing went down, though.

"As good as we can be I guess," Adrian returned with an awkward shrug of her shoulders. Though Tara's tone held nothing but concern despite the obvious shock the woman was in, it was still strange to talk about. Actually, she couldn't believe that she'd just ranted to a stranger like that. Megan was coming around, still unspeaking but she shared a glance with Adrian that said she was going to try not to let this place be the end for her. Sure, Adrian had just lost someone close to her but she'd never had kids - never planned to either, given that she'd never had much interest in men outside of a very short-lived relationship she'd had back when she was fourteen. Everyone worked away, trying to find or make the best weapons that they could before the others returned. Megan had found a piece of the wooden inner framing that had begun to split from the wall.

Adrian had been trying to avoid eavesdropping or asking questions about the scene that went down next, which she observed from her spot at the back of the car between a still shook up Tara and the slowly coming back to life Megan. Obviously though, given the close quarters, it was impossible for her to not hear when everyone went silent and the man with a mullet began talking about a cure and fighting fire with fire. As expected, Adrian didn't quite know what was being talked about - and it seemed like the others didn't seem to have any more knowledge than she did either.

"A cure, huh?" When Tara addressed her, she sounded sceptical at best but the soft look in her eyes said that she was grateful to Tara for letting her in to the loop. "I mean, you're right, that sounds nuts, but-" Unless Eugene died here, which Adrian really had to stop thinking about. Everyone else was... so hopeful, in a very "trying not to get my hopes up" kind of way. If anywhere was going to have a cure, it would be Washington on the CDC - but Adrian was unaware that the CDC had become a bust a long, long time ago. It was lucky that these people had found the right person, then.

"You know, Aid, if you're going to make new friends you should at least introduce them." Beside Adrian, another voice interrupted the air this time, and the blonde who had so far been mute and lifeless was the owner. She sounded deadpan and depressed, but that was the closest thing to their normal witty banter that Adrian had gotten since she arrived here. Megan handed off a narrow piece of wood, just long enough to grasp comfortably and still have enough of the pointed tip to ran through the side of a walker's skull. She nodded to Tara, and then passed another longer piece on to Adrian.

Outside of the boxcar, the group was advancing on the car with their friends inside of it. As the last of the Terminus gunmen walked by, Rick had subdued him, shot him and taken his gun. Now armed, the others were brought down and a mad dash towards the car was made. They had to move fast - they were surrounded on every side by walkers and more were coming with every minute that passed. They were too vulnerable inside of these walls, but they couldn't leave their group behind.

After handing off the first wooden shiv to Tara, Adrian's fingers drummed against the length of the second piece. She didn't take a strong hold on it until she saw that Megan had kept one of her own, and her mouth had just begun to open and do a quick introduction when the door to the car was ripped open. The one man, the leader, Rick, ordered everyone to get out and run for the fences, and just outside Daryl and Bob were taking down as many of the beasts as they could to keep everyone safe while everyone unloaded the car. Adrian clambered to her feet as fast as she could and pulled Megan up as well. Beth, of course with Jack give the, er, tie up, were the first over the fence and in to safety.

"Come on!" Adrian yelled, going back to help Tara up before she took Megan by the hand and raced to leave the car. From their position in the back, they were the last to get out but the path seemed almost clear. Almost - they'd missed sight of the walker that was approaching from the side of the car, and faster than Adrian could react, it's teeth were buried in to Megan's shoulder. The thing's brain was pierced just a moment, just a millisecond too late - and when it fell to the ground, the fall tried to take Megan with it.

"Megan!" She screamed, loud and shrill, as the blonde released her hand. No, no, this wasn't happening. No, not again. Not again. Not right after... No. The blood rushed out of Adrian's face and she felt weak, like she was going to faint, and she froze in position. Walkers were coming from all directions, though - she would be dead (undead) meat if she didn't move and fast.

This brief conversation between herself, Adrian, and the woman named Megan was some sort of solace in a time of discomfort and fear for Tara. She enjoyed meeting Adrian’s friend and for a moment it almost didn’t even feel like they were in trouble. The only thing to remind them of such was the noises outside and it definitely disrupted her peace. “It’s a shame we could not have met under better circumstances.” Tara shrugged sadly and then accepted the wooden shiv, thanking Megan for the weapon. “I guess it beats this necklace, huh?” She chuckled quietly and leaned up against the car, waiting. It wasn’t longer before they heard banging on the door. It wasn’t the kind of banging they might hear from a walker but it was definitely human. Everyone readied their weapons but there was no need. It was Rick, ordering everyone out to fight to the fence. How in the hell they made it there, Tara didn’t know. She also took notice of the young male Jack carrying Beth. She assumed that there was no time to untie the blonde and she decided to keep an extra eye out on the pair just in case.

Jack ran with the others, making sure to stay close to protection. His number one priority right now was Beth’s safety… Well, it always was really. She was defenseless and truly only relied on him to save her life and help her get out alive. Lucky for her, Jack wasn’t ready to let go of her and would refuse to let anything happen. With his raw strength, he was still able to use one arm to swing his bat occasionally to at least assist a little bit during the fight. Walkers were absolutely everywhere but with the guns combined with the makeshift weapons, the group was actually getting somewhere and the fence seemed to grow closer and closer. For Tara, her number one focus was helping to make sure that her new friends were safe.

Finally, they mounted to the gate and Jack was the first over with Beth of course and then everyone was falling in behind and hit the ground running. A few of the Terminus stragglers appeared but Rick quickly gunned them down, or at least attempted. The last person to go over would have been Megan but she was caught in the mayhem and Tara noticed this. Sadly, there was nothing that could be done and she knew that Adrian was probably too shocked to move so with one desperate heave to try and mount every single ounce of strength in her little body, she grabbed the woman around the waist and hopped up to the fence being helped over by Abraham and Bob to the other side. “Oh my God… Adrian… I’m sorry, but we have to go. Now!” She spoke loudly over the commotion and then shot to her feet. Without missing a step, she grabbed Adrian by the arm and pulled her along with her just in case she tried anything stupid and within minutes the group had hit the woods seeming to be away from the most imminent danger as of now.

They stopped to dig up the weapons that were buried. Rick was seeming to be dead set on killing all the remaining survivors but he seemed to be the only person on board with the idea and with some convincing, he decided to not go. All of a sudden, a familiar face appeared. It was Carol. Everyone was quiet and now the explosion origin was quite obvious to them. She and Daryl embraced in a hug and then Rick approached her and found out that she did indeed help them out. It was a bittersweet reunion as they were still in the middle of the woods. Carol was now leading them on up the road to the cabin where Tyreese was keeping Judith and was able to reunite Rick with his daughter and Sasha with her brother. There was nothing bittersweet about this moment now except for the fact that Adrian had just lost someone else.

It was at this point that everyone decided to stop and rest for the night because they were all exhausted, tired, and scared. Tara went to go lead Adrian away from the group and just in the tree line. There were no words that need to be said because she knew what she was going through. In the emotions of the moment and the feelings she happened to harbor for the brown haired woman, Tara suddenly wrapped her arms around her. “I’m so sorry…” This was the first thing that Tara whispered into her ear because she had no idea what else to say or what else to do. She somehow felt like this was her fault, like she could have protected Megan for their sake. Maybe it was strange to feel this way but the amount of hurt she happened to feel over this was indescribable and she had no words for it.

On the other hand, Jack had grabbed his pocket knife that was left stashed out in the woods that they retrieved and went to another cabin just about fifty feet back from the others. It would provide some privacy and that is what Jack wanted with Beth. He arrived and checked it out before taken the bound blonde inside and then setting her gently on the mattress. He took out his pocket knife and turned her back to him about to cut the ties off but then an idea hit him. It was the end of the world and they just escaped death again. He could either untie her and they could cuddle and kiss or… he could leave her like this and they could have fun another way. They were safe now and had nothing to worry about. Plus, it had been a long time since their last session. Smirking, he pocketed his knife and then actually tightened the zipties around her wrist first and then the ones around her ankles. Turning her to face him, Jack tightened the cloth in between her lips and then squatted in front of her, brushing his bangs out of his eyes. Without saying a word, he parted his lips so he could kiss Beth over the gag. Even when he had Beth gagged, he still very much enjoyed kissing her though all that it really could be was him just pressing his lips to hers over the gag, but it was still erotic to Jack nonetheless. “I’m not quite ready to let you free, Beth…” He cooed, letting one hand tangle in her hair. “We live in a crazy world… so… why not?” He asked, tilting his head at her then slowly sliding his free hand into her jeans which was quite easy since her belt was now gone from earlier.

Beth felt complete and utter relief as they scaled the fences and got out on the other side. She was still bound when he got his knife and took her somewhere. Where? She didn't know, but with a fence and some woods between her and the imminent threat Beth was already feeling infinitely more comfortable. With just Jack around, she felt okay and even comfortable as she knew that he would treat her well and keep her safe. He'd lose his own life in the process if need be - she knew it, but she hoped to never have to experience that.

He placed her gently on the mattress and hovered over her with his knife, and Beth didn't miss the mischevious gleam in his eyes right before he smirked. When Jack pocketed the knife, she gave him her best fake concerned look and, if her mouth weren't gagged, that would have been followed by her own equally as devilish grin. They were out of the woods now, at least figuratively, and there adrenaline levels were pumping sky high. It was no surprise that less than innocent thoughts entered Jack's head when he looked down at her with her hands and feet bound together, leaving her unable to touch and unable to resist.

In fact, he even tightened the hold they had on her even more firmly, tightened the cloth gag in her mouth, and then his hand was slowly inching its way down her jeans. She was shy a belt now, and would be until they found a new one, whenever that was. The plus side to that was that Jack was without one as well - like hers, that had been taken from his hand when they'd been gassed and knocked out. In this situation it wouldn't help her any, but for future referece... Well, Beth Greene loved her man and loved being with him.

The blonde squirmed against his touch, bucking her hips in to his hand as lust settled in to Beth's body and she felt the sweet relief of Jack's control. The first time he'd talked about tying her up she'd been almost reluctant - but open enough to try it out. She'd loved it from the very start, though. There was just something sexy about relinquishing control of herself to the man she trusted most, and giving in to one of his strongest desires. Just the thought of it made her hot, and after they left the prison they were left with a couple perplexing issues - one, things to tie her up with and two, the privacy and safety to comfortably have a session without the worry of being caught - by walkers or humans.

Beth kept her baby blues level with his eyes until his hand brushing so close to her pussy but not quite touching it yet filled her body with anticipation. Her neck rolled from one side to the other as her hips begged for just a little more of his touch.

Had Tara not pulled her away from the scene, Adrian wouldn't have moved - she would have been frozen on the spot or raced back and probably ended up succumbing to the same fate as Megan, who she couldn't tear her eyes off of as she was forcefully pulled up the fence by her new friend.
"I'm so sorry." The reality was that she needed to move and fast, but that didn't stop her from looking back. Not even a blonde hair was visible through the walkers that piled up, and Tara's hold on her arm kept her from looking for too long. They group was moving quick through woods without stopping, leaving Terminus as far behind as they could. There was no time to pause and mourn right now.

That resolve almost broke when this group was reunited with several others, and Adrian felt nothing but shame at how she wished these people hadn't returned right now. She couldn't voice that, though - she couldn't even admit to thinking it. Not wishing them well wouldn't change everything. It wouldn't change that five days ago Nick had been by her side like he had been for the last approximately twenty two years and Megan's daughter had been alive. Now none of them were alive, but this group even had those they thought they'd lost.

And then she had to introduce herself because though she'd been seen in the car, she'd talked to none of them. All they knew was that she was a stranger who happened to be in the same box car. With a baby to care for, they would be of the right mind if they didn't want an utter stranger around. Everyone was tired and hungry, and everyone understood that they were as close to death today as she was.

Adrian was standing just at the edge of the circle that the group formed when Tara moved to walk off with her, and the silence said all the things that she didn't speak. Her hand were tucked deep in to the pockets of her capris and even if she knew what to say, Adrian didn't have the words in her to voice her thoughts on what just happened. She was caught by surprise when Tara leaned and hugged her, a sudden action, and then whispered condolences like it was her fault. All Adrian could do at first was raise her face towards the sky and close her eyes tight, trying to keep tears from falling. The hold felt good though, comforting. Tara was now the closest thing she had to a friend and fuck, she was probably going to screw it up now because she had an awful habit of developing feelings for anyone who would give her the time of day. Not to mention, sharing a "we almost died together" moment seemed to be some weird post-apocalyptic form of bonding, especially when the other person had deep chocolately brown eyes like those.

"I..." Adrian wasn't sure how to respond, so instead of using words she removed her hands from her pockets and gently brought her arms around Tara. The side of her face rested against Tara's shoulder, leaning towards the other brunette's neck and Adrian did her best to pay attention to the moment - to the new friend, to this embrace, to the fact that she couldn't go back and that Megan would want her to move on. "Thank you, really. You don't even know me but you've been nothing but kind." She'd never been the type to burden others with her problems, but the last few days... Well, overwhelming was an understatement. She hadn't had time to really think about it until now, but she'd really needed a hug.

Looking down at Beth, a smirk started to grow upon Jack’s face. Often times he would imagine their wedding night and how it would be. For most couples they would have a candlelit, love making session but Jack had a feeling that theirs would have been different. Ever since Jack finally gathered enough courage to ask Beth about letting him tie her up, they were always experimenting with bondage. It was not like that was the only kind of sex they had though, because it was not. Conversely, it was something that they did often. Beth seemed to really enjoy it as well and Jack was happy to continue giving the feelings to her. Besides, how crazy were they to just escape Terminus and not even worry about untying Beth and just go right into having sex together? They were crazy… Crazy in love and crazy for one another. Jack absolutely loved this and he could now feel his boner starting to grow, piercing against the material of his jeans. They could take time now and just sit there and he could look at his blonde girlfriend and take in how fucking sexy she was. Wrists tied, ankles tied, and gagged. The only thing that would make this better was her not having those boots on, giving him a view of her cute feet. He would take them off but he didn’t want to cut the zip ties off.

To start off with, Jack wanted to show her some affection. He began by kissing her cheek, her nose, her forehead, her lips and then down her neck. While he was kissing her, he was whispering quietly to her. “I love you so much Beth. You’re so beautiful, baby. My sweet, sweet Princess all bound and gagged. I love you so much.” While talking to her, he kept his hand slowly moving up and down her thighs, occasionally brushing his fingertips against her folds but never enough to give her true pleasure and true touch. He wanted to get her up onto edge and he made sure to leave her a few, brand new hickeys on her neck since the old ones had faded. His mouth was now slowly moving down her body and he took his free hand, raising up her shirt until it was above her breasts, revealing her abdomen and he began kissing down there as well, all across her flat stomach. By the time he was finished, Jack had essentially kissed over every inch of skin that he could. He loved how they could be having a kinky moment with Beth being bound and gagged but still share something so gentle and sweet.

There was also this added feeling of excitement. At any time someone could walk in on them. While most of him hoped that wouldn’t happen, he also knew that they both shared a love for public fun and the risk of being caught. If anyone did walk in, all they would know was that Jack Howell could fuck Beth Greene like a God. Finally, the young man felt happy with the kissing and pulled both hands to the hem of her jeans, sliding them down to her ankles and soon letting her panties follow. “Mmm… All mine.” He winked at the blonde once her small pussy was exposed. It was so wonderful for him to think about how he was the only man to ever see her like this, touch her, fuck her, or kiss her. She was truly all his and he let it show. Slowly, he lowered his head down and let his tongue reach out, teasingly rub over her folds while his eyes looked up into hers.

Nothing was making sense anymore to Tara. It seemed that the longer she was holding the woman in her embrace, the stronger her feelings felt. Her arms kept Adrian wrapped up very, very tightly into her hold and she was not letting her go. “I am so sorry all of this happened to you. I know the past few days have been so terrible. But I promise you that I will make sure you can stay with us and I will make sure that I am there for you. I don’t care that we might have just met. I will be here for you Adrian. I want to be your friend and I want to help you through this. We’ve all been through something terrible and I know it sucks to not have anyone around. I won’t let that happen to you. I might not have known these people but from what I hear, they loved you and that means that they would want you to move on and keep fighting. I know that probably seems hard right now but I will help you. I promise.” Tara whispered in almost a desperate voice trying to just say all these things. Never before had Tara been really good with words but everything was just flowing right now.

Finally she was able to pull back and look at Adrian in the face. That was about all she could say right now and her mind was clouded. Oh, how she wished to take away all the pain that this woman had felt. Even when she was sad and depressed, those eyes of hers just made her so infatuated and made Tara just want to stare at them forever but she noticed the hurt and it seemed to bounce right back onto her as well. “Here, let me introduce you to everyone, okay?” Tara finally spoke and led her back to the middle of everyone. They got to the center and almost everyone was looking at her. “Everyone… this is Adrian.” From that point, Tara went about pointing out the members of the group. All while she did this, Tara made sure her arm was securely locked in Adrian’s to hold her close and comfort her.

Everyone in the group really seemed all kind and nice. Maggie was sure to welcome Adrian, assuring her that she was welcomed to stay with them. Everyone had spoken to her except Rick and Carl who were off inside the cabin with Judith but no one seemed to think she would be a problem. It was getting later and everyone had dispersed so Tara led Adrian back over into the woods before slumping down beside of a large tree. She let out a quiet sigh and patted the ground and leaves beside her. “Go on and sit?” She offered, giving her a small smile. Tara hoped that she was making some kind of impact on this lovely woman. Maybe by offering to be her friend and giving her a part in the group would help with her wanting to move on. She just hoped they could continue growing from here and that they could get to know one another better.

The soft flutter of Jack's lips against her skin made Beth sigh, a sound that was muffled by the cloth buried between her lips. She needed to feel the way he loved her, and she ached for her hands to be free so that she could run her delicate finger tips through Jack's always-soft dark hair. Her fingers, pulled above her head, twitched and clasped each other from their binding, and had her mouth not been gagged he would have understood the mumble of "I love you" she made as his lips formed suction against the delicate flesh of her neck. She was so, so glad that she'd given in and let him shown her his ways - sure it might be crazy to some, but what was this world if not crazy in general?

All she could do was arch her body - her spine, her neck. Her head rolled from side to side on occasion, whenever one of his soft, precise touches or loving kisses found just the right spot on her flesh. The heat in her body was rushing south, bringing a warmth to her core and making her wetter with every teasing moment spent in anticipation. Through his jeans, she could see the way his cock was hardening. She hadn't thought of this, having been concerned with other details before he tossed her on the bed, but now all she wanted was everything that he could give her - and for her pants to just go.

She got her wish after he'd kissed every inch of her body, and Jack moved slow and deliberately as he inched her jeans down her thighs and then shins. Her panties, a black and white polka dotted affair, followed suit and the lust in her eyes begged for his touch. Her legs were open, as open as she could get them with her ankles pulled together, and she bared her pussy to him, soft and glistening from her wetness. It begged for him, calling him in.

When his tongue first touched her core, a sharp, uneven gasp filled her chest and each teasing touch of her folds sent a shock pulsing through her body, radiating from her hips and up her spine. "Please," she begged of him.

"It's just a lot at once," Adrian said, silently melting in to Tara's tight, caring hold. She didn't expect to feel relieved by this, but she was - just the mere touch of this unknown woman who had offered her nothing but sweet words and well wishes since she had met her. Loss was expected in this world - she'd dealt with it, everyone dealt with it. Tara had been touched by it, too - Adrian didn't know it, but it hadn't been long since Tara had also lost all of her family over only a few short days. Adrian had been lucky until now, though - towards the beginning of the outbreak she had lost a couple people before getting too close to them, and she was sure her parents would have been lost in the early days, but a long time had passed since she'd dealt with the death of someone close to her. "Thank you, though." Adrian's gaze was sincere, and when Tara released her she was reluctant to follow. The prolonged touch was over and she was forced to seperate if she wanted to come off like a relatively normal human being.

She got to really meet the group after that. Arm in arm, Tara pointed vaguely towards Rick, Carl and a sweet little baby, who were off to the side. The Maggie girl seemed sweet as sugar. Everyone else seemed like they were interesting, too. Carol, the woman who'd caused the explosion at Terminus and Daryl, the one of the crossbow, stuck around each other on the outskirts of the group, and.. Abraham and Rosita? They seemed like they were good people, and wholly devoted to the cause of getting Eugene to Washington. Eugene himself was... a character. Adrian had realized that even back in the box car, but now he had his time to shine. He was smart, but surely socially awkward - and Adrian didn't miss the way he'd look at the women's tits. He didn't miss the telling glare she offered him when she caught his eyes burned on to her.

Eventually, though, everything simmered down and Adrian found Tara guiding her back away from the crowd towards where they had been before. She couldn't resist falling to the ground right beside her, and her neck arched until the back of her head was resting against the rough trunk. They were shoulder to shoulder, bodies almost touching, and Adrian spared Tara a slight smile on thin lips. Her hands rested loosely on her lap, left cupping the right. "I suppose I could do that." She still was recovering from the events of the day but with people around her, and Tara who hadn't even tried to leave her side, Adrian had a feeling that things would start to look up.

"Thank you. I think I said that already, but still." Tara was curves and compassion, eyes she could melt in to and her newest friend. Adrian's head tilted towards Tara and she bumped shoulders with the other woman like they were old friends. "For... everything, really." That was probably the most vague statement Adrian had made in a long time, but she didn't have any words to properly explain how she appreciated Tara's new presence in her life.

During the apocalypse, not everyone was afforded someone that they loved to survive alongside with them. Regarding Jack and Beth, not a single day went by with them apart. Not only were they living with one another each day but they also shared this love of kinky fun that could definitely take their minds off of the bad things that they faced. The muffled moan and the muffled words she tried to speak to him seriously got Jack going. It reached a quick build to his erection to the point that the young man had to quickly shove off his jeans and boxers in one swift movement to free his cock. Now nothing was holding him back as he continued on slurping and sucking all over her pussy. She was so wet already and it was all thanks to him. Just that thought was enough to make him hot and heavy. Once being pleased with the level of wetness gushing from his blonde, beautiful girlfriend, he pulled away and then crawled on top of her. His fingertips traced her lips and an evil grin was on his face. “Don’t you look so sexy with that gag in your mouth?” He cooed quietly, pecking her lips over the cloth again.

“You are so hot, Beth. My helpless damsel in distress. No one can save you from me now baby.” When they did this, he often liked to play the role as her captor. It also was fun to play her savior soon afterwards. Finally, Jack had enough of playing around with Beth and settled on top of her properly. His large hands went to grip her firm breasts and gave them a rough squeeze before taking his hips, raising up and then slamming into her hard. Just as always, his large, thick cock forced its way inside of her tight hole and he moaned quietly. Leaning down, he started kissing on her neck everywhere, all up and down her skin while leaving her a few marks here and there. All while this was happening, he let his thrusting pace increase. Their hips smacked together again and again with a violent force just how they loved it.

Something that Tara was usually skilled at doing was reading other people’s body language. When trying to get a read on Adrian, she could easily tell that she seemed to be at least a little comforted by her touch and soothing words so that was a plus. It felt so nice to help out this woman because she understood how rare it was to find a stranger that was kind and caring. Luckily for Adrian, she found a group of them and now they took her in. Everyone truly seemed to be happy to have an addition because there was truly strength in numbers. Of course they would have some suspicions about their newcomer but that was to be expected considering their past experiences. Terminus was such a close call and they could not afford to have another issue. Then again, Adrian didn’t seem to be much of a threat. She continued to thank Tara over and over again though every time Tara would tell her to not worry about it. All they had was time right now so Tara figured it might be a good time to just talk and get to know each other, nothing wrong with that. There was something she seemed like she wanted to tell her, though. They could relate.

“I am sorry about what you went through. I know how it feels. When all of this first began, it was just myself, my sister Lilly my father and Lilly’s daughter named Meghan.” She started and frowned a bit recalling their faces and memories they shared. It was also a reason that her friend named Megan really hit her hard because of the dreadful thoughts and memories it brought to her. “I was in the police academy and they picked me up from there to stay with them in their apartment. It went well for a while then my father died from sickness and then Meghan was killed by one of those walkers. Before all that we met someone named Philip… or The Governor. He was nice at first and we were in a camp with him and a few other people. Lilly died later on and soon it was just me. That’s when we met this group… they were staying at the West Georgia Correctional Facility. The Governor tried to tell us that they were bad people and that we must kill them and take the prison but he lied to us. When the fighting started I ran away and then Glenn found me. These people… they are truly good. They accepted me into their family and gave me hope. It’s been such a rough path lately and I was so scared and sad. I think things will get better. I would really love to know about you, Adrian. I want to be your friend and I want to help you cope with this. Maybe we can just try and put the day behind us and get our minds somewhere else.” Tara said, offering her a small smile. She truly felt better after saying this. No one in the group knew her story, honestly. She had kept it quiet for such a long time but sharing with Adrian did make her feel so much better and she unconsciously scooted just a bit closer to her.

Though she let out the slighest digruntled noise when his lips and tongue left their place between her legs, Beth was soon offered the solace of his cock. He quickly freed it from his jeans and she arched her hips for better access. He slammed in to her, and her body caved in to him, quickly adjusting to the sudden pressure filling her. The first thrust caused pleasure to radiate through her body, and she let out a long, drawn out moan through out the first several thrusts.

"Jack!" She cried out as he build up his own pace, and with every deep, long thrust a building tension formed in her. He was hard and rough and everything that no one would expect sweet little Beth Greene to love but every inch of her craved the way he loved her. She loved the way he took control of her, she loved the way that he'd turn from her captor to the man who saves her from trouble. She loved the peck of his lips against flesh - her jawbone, her cheek, her neck, tracing down even further...

Something clicked in Adrian when Tara started talking About her family - sharing her history, talking about her family. They were all gone, she'd lost a Megan too. Quite literally, though a year and a half of fighting alongside someone was no where near the same as however many years of love that Tara'd had for her niece. The change in topic was welcome, though - the longer Adrian allowed herself to ponder on today's events, the worse she would end up feeling and Tara's sweet voice swaying the conversation elsewhere was.. relieving, even.

"I was a nursing student, before all this. Only a first year, but I was..." Adrian rolled her head sideways so that she could zone her gaze on to Tara and let out a light laugh - that had been so long ago. She'd grown to hate it within the few months, mainly because first semester nursing was theory intensive and practically minimal, but now she would honestly love to be back in school. "Nick... My brother, he was in a business program, talked me in to going to the same school as him. Think he wanted me close, still considered me the baby of the family even though I was twenty at that point. Like school, at the time I kind of hated it, now I'm glad it happened."

"I'm glad you guys showed up when you did." Adrian gave her a smile in return. "That might be the only good thingn to come out of this, but... You're right. We should be friends."

Jack’s brown eyes were bright and shining with love right now. What had just happened to them could not have been further from his thoughts. Whenever they were alone all he could think about was her and not anything else. The sexy noises that she made were driving him mad as was the way her pink lips just hugged that tight cleave gag so cutely. He could recall days before this outbreak when they were at school in art class together. Beth casually had placed some tape over her lips and started making some noises and trying to talk. To their friends around them, it just seemed like Beth was being silly with the tape but in reality, she was teasing her boyfriend. After those kinds of days, it was needless to say that Jack really got in a good fucking with her after school.

Back in the present moment, the pace was slowly increasing. Hip bone was loudly smacking against hip bone. It was probably even louder than their moans. Her body was so spectacular that even after all these years Jack could never settle on where he wanted to place his hands. For a while they were on the small of her back and pushing upwards so she could meet him better, then they switched to grab her ass, just squeezing and fondling her flesh, and then at times he went to place them onto her firm breasts where he played with both of her tits just as he did with her ass. No matter where the hand placement was, Jack loved every bit of it. His cock was just violently ripping through her walls and piercing through her cervix as he pulled up as far as possible and then slammed down hard each time. The old wooden bed beneath their bodies was starting to creak and rattle loudly as if it were about to give way but that did not stop Jack whatsoever. He kept kissing the blonde, trailing his lips further down as he could reach until he was kissing on her breasts, quickly unsnapping her bra so his lips could take her left nipple into his mouth as he sucked and licked all over the pink flesh.

When Tara heard that Adrian did want to be her friend, a smile spread on her lips. It also helped to know more about her past and who the people were that she lost. It sounded like she had a good relationship with all of her family and that was nice to hear. For a while, Tara had really been on her own and felt so isolated from everyone. Sure this group was kind and she got along with everyone, but there wasn’t actually anyone that she felt a strong connection with like she did Adrian despite only knowing her for a matter of hours. “I am seriously so sorry about everyone that you lost. I wish I could take all your pain away and bring everyone you love back.” Tara suddenly blurted out in a quiet voice. Was it strange that she already cared more about her friend’s happiness than her own? These feelings were a vortex in her mind but instead of fighting them, she just relaxed and let herself feel whatever emotions rushed to her.

“Here’s to a better future, right? Maybe Eugene can really cure this disease and we won’t have to face this every single day. I know it seems like a long shot and when I first heard him, I thought he was crazy… but… I guess it is better than having no hope at all, right? Plus, he is super smart and I am sure he can help figure something out. We just need to get him there.” Tara mused and shook her head slowly. The poor man could not do a single thing for himself. It was pitiful to see and he was such a liability at times but they had to protect him. He could be the answer to everyone’s prayers. “So… Maybe we can get to know each other?” She began. “I mean, we know really brief stuff about each other but I would love to get to really know you… to know what you like and don’t like… hobbies… All of that. I know it doesn’t matter much anymore but I don’t think we should ever forget about the way things used to be, thinking about what we enjoyed doing.” Tara spoke, turning her head once more to lock their eyes together, this time holding her gaze for a while.

Beth moaned when her bra was freed from her top, giving way for Jack's warm, moist mouth to wrap around the perked points of her breasts. She loved, craved the way his tongue worked the flesh and, in combination with every one of his hards thrusts, Beth's moans grew louder and more lust-filled. Their sex was rough, bordering on violent - a dramatic change from the sweet, loving way Jack and Beth cared for each other when clothes still covered her body.

"Jack, yes!" She remembered when she first discovered that she liked this, and the way she had teased in him in a way that no one had figured out. Her body was being knocked around by the roughness of his thrusts, and his rough, strong hands were the only thing keeping her small body in place. With every rough fuck she was getting wetter and wetter, and god, she felt so so close to coming. Her chest arched forwards, both a pleasure reaction and to offer his eager mouth more of her breasts.

"Hobbies? Uh, shooting dead things in the head, mostly." Adrian cocked an eyebrow at Tara as their gaze met, though the incredulous expression quickly faded and was replaced with warmth and a little bit of laughter. She'd thought about it before, back when they were still trapped, and now that they were in safety, Adrian had a chance to think about it again: an attractive woman, a really attractive woman was sitting right next to her, all smiles and interest. Adrian couldn't help but have a curiosity about her now that they'd escaped and had a moment to really just be around each other. What were the chances that Tara was looking for anything more than a simple friend who she could relate to in all the chaos? Probably slim to none, but Adrian couldn't remember the last time she'd been this... intrigued by someone.

"Actually, guess that hobby's over because I lost my gun. Not that it was going to be useful for much longer anyways, though." She shrugged, and finally turned her gaze away from Tara and towards her hands. She still watched the other woman out for the corner of her eye. "Uh, I wasn't a very big social person. Like I wasn't antisocial but... I had my people, and I was happiest just around them. I was that person who always wanted to explore abandoned buildings and forests, though. People'd think I was nuts 'cause I'd go out looking for these creepy places and drag them along. Found a lot of really weird and really cool things, scared a couple people half to death. It was good." Adrian smiled, thinking back to those times. They had been good - she'd seen all amount of weird places as well as given herself a vast appreciation for nature. Ohio had been good to her for the first nineteen years of her life. "I was a writer - or at least tried to be, nothing good ever came from it but it was fun." She looked back now, really not sure what to say about herself. Back when there was to do things like write and explore and have little hobbies, she had honestly considered herself a boring person and she sounded just as lame as she expected when she said it out loud again. "What about you? Police in the making have to be pretty interesting."

The more that Beth moaned and talked, the more aroused Jack became. Those muffled noises were so fucking cute and so fucking sexy at the same time. After spending a while with kissing and sucking on her left nipple, he trailed across to give her right nipple the same treatment. After it was all said and done, both of her breasts were absolutely covered in hickeys all across. Jack was never shy about leaving them on her neck where it could be seen but he equally loved leaving them all down her body where she would have clothes covering them too. Her abdomen and breasts were always full of his love marks and this was no different.

From being together for so long and having so much sex together, Jack could definitely tell when she was closing in on her orgasm. The way her sweet pussy contracted and pulled on him, he moaned out just a bit louder than before. The bed was now wobbling and it could go at any moment. The fucking was wild and rough yet Jack made no attempt to control his tempo. He just let loose. “I know you’re close baby. I’m getting close too. I want you to cum for me. Let me know how much you love my cock.” He cooed to his blonde girlfriend, slipping two fingers down in between their bodies so he could manhandle her clit as well with his fingers all while still keeping the same pace on her body.

Tara could not help but laugh right along with Adrian and her comment. A similar thought process was going through her mind as well. In all the years of Tara’s life and all the lesbians she had ever known, she thought that Adrian was straight. However, she usually thought this and got all insecure if she met a woman that she really, really liked and wanted to be with. She had this fear of being shut down every time and never finding happiness. It also didn’t help that her last “girlfriend” was actually straight and had a boyfriend – Tara had been played. It broke her heart and it really made her wary about anything else. While she wanted to keep it that way and be careful around Adrian… something made her want to let that guard down around her. Besides, when she considered all the dangers of their world today, being rejected by someone wasn’t’ nearly as bad as becoming walker food.

She was talking about her past life and Tara couldn’t help but just daydream for a small minute about being with Adrian on her adventures. That did sound like some real, good fun. It is a shame that nothing like that will happen now though. “Yeah, it was interesting.” She started when thinking about her old life. “I didn’t want to be like all the other girls I grew up around. Hairdressers and chefs and makeup artists… I wanted to do something meaningful and fun. I guess I could be considered a “tomboy”. I loved to go out and explore nature. I also loved running and exercising so joining the police force seemed right for me. I was about six months into the academy when this all started happening. Things were looking great. I was doing better than some of the guys too.” She said and chuckled at the memory of outperforming those men that didn’t think she would amount to anything. “That’s about it though. I guess I’m a lot like you. I had my friends but I wasn’t a very social person. I really loved camping too.” She added and gave her a smile. This really did feel good and for a moment, just a small moment, she was able to forget about all of this around them. Nothing seemed to hinder them and she was actually happy, genuinely, for the first time in a while.

Beth loved wearing his marks on her flesh - purple-blue reminders of just how amazing their moments together were. They were short lasting reminders of the way he would touch her, and the shock that radiated from her flesh every time he took her skin in to his mouth sent shivers high up her spine. He knew that she was close and she did as well, with a tightening sensation flooding her lower abdomen and increasing with every moment that passed. Bath's face was flushed and her heart was racing, picking up speed with every deep, delicious thrust that Jack made in to her pussy. She was tight and getting tighter as her body threatened to give in to her orgasm.

"So close," she moaned through the cleave gag as her thighs began to quiver around Jack's strong, lean body. Her hips arched in to him and she pulled her bound arms in towards her body. Her eyes fluttered closed and she let out another, louder moan that turned in to a cry as she gave in to her orgasm. "God, Jack, yes! I love your cock," there was a breathy pause, "I'm going to cum." And then her body really felt it - the spasmodic waves that started deep in the core of her body, tightening and releasing in rhythm. To the best of her degree, Beth's small hips met Jack's with each thrust as she was riding out the intense pleasure that flooded from her core to the tips of her fingers, coming in waves that made her body squirm and her pussy spasm around the length of her lover's cock.

"Nick and my parents liked to camp so I ended out there with them few times." Adrian sucked her lower lip between her teeth and bit the one corner with her incisors until it slipped from the gentle grasp. She'd stopped the camping trips the summer she turned sixteen, just didn't get the same thrill of it that she did when she was younger, but there had been good memories there. "It was fun, I won't lie, but I was always so happy when it was time to go home. I was the odd one out, which was weird because Nick was such a city boy so no one expected that he'd be the one who was super excited for the trips."

There had been a lot of good times out in nature in her younger years, before the worry of the dead trying to eat her started. Camping trips with her family - the creepy half-broken down house she'd found with Jaspen just months before the outbreak. Jaspen was the girl she'd been seeing before everything - they'd been together only six months, and the redhead had become one of the victims in the early days, back when it had just been her and Nick. She hadn't been with anyone since - a couple people here and there had piqued her interest over time but the gay pickings were even slimmer than they had been before, and she'd just ended up rejected. She was quite honestly quick to fall for people, and took the slightest hint of interest to be something good. It had left her rejected time and time again, but she always tried not to be sore about it...

Subconsciously, she leaned against Tara's shoulder and her gaze flittered back towards Tara's figure and lingered on the swell of her breasts before tracing the outline of her jaw. This girl, her friend... Tucked so close to her body, split from the group, sharing gazes and laughs like there was much more intimate history between them than what they had.

The noises that Beth were making while trying to talk to him was starting to really take a toll on Jack. The orgasm he felt was building from deep in his core and he just let all his emotions rush out at once. “Oh… Beth… I fucking love you baby… That’s my good girl.” He moaned out whenever she hit her orgasm. The familiar rush of her wet, sticky juices starting to gush out all over his hard, long, thick cock really made him feel so amazing. His hips didn’t stop though and after a few more violent thrusts, he could feel his own release getting closer and closer. Finally, it happened. His cock was throbbing violently inside of her and then it was clenching and flexing before it clenched one time and a loud moan of Beth’s name left his lips.

His hands gripped her ass tightly and then slammed into her one final time before his thick ropes of hot, sticky, thick cum was exploding inside of Beth. It wasn’t just a normal little spurting here and there of course. It was a violent, massive explosion that shook Jack to the core and then reaching down to kiss her over the gag once again. Almost at the exact time, the bed that was about to give away… it did. The old wooden frame collapsed underneath their bodies and Jack grunted a bit, then looked down into Beth’s gorgeous blue eyes, then looked around them with a smirk. He simply sat there and was ready to enjoy some post-coital cuddling with his bound and gagged beauty as he started kissing all up and down her neck. “This felt so good, Beth.” He whispered into her ear. It also felt great to know that he fucked his girlfriend so hard that it broke the bed. He couldn’t stop grinning as he kissed her.

Tara could picture everything that Adrian was talking about and it was all such a happy rush of emotions. The very last time she went camping though, that was when she got that horrible news about her “girlfriend”. She found her kissing some guy and then the truth came out. It was all just a big joke and Tara cried over it and the memory hurt her to the core even when they had much bigger dangers around them. Some wounds just might not ever heal and that was probably the case here. Tara was so on edge right now that she did feel when Adrian leaned more against her shoulder. It caused her to spaz out internally. Her pupils were very dilated and her breath was shaky. A red tint was on her cheeks and she all of a sudden had a burst of confidence. She ended up leaning her head down against hers slightly and just cuddled up against her without actually having her arms around her.

“It has been so long since I was able to relax like this with someone…” She finally spoke up and looked to her. Damn those brown eyes of hers could not be more gorgeous! Tara’s heart was melting as they sat there and she just couldn’t compose herself at all. “Especially someone so pretty... I uh… I mean you’re a pretty person… I mean I think you’re pretty… I… Sorry…” At this time she tilted her head down and a massive blush was on her face at this very second. She seemed like a swooning teenage girl that just tried to talk to the hottest guy, or in this case, hottest girl in school. She placed one hand on her cheek and felt how warm she was getting and that made it even worse. What if Adrian was freaked out about this? What if she messed things up before they even got started? Hell, she wasn’t sure to expect Adrian to be lesbian but even if she wasn’t, she at least wanted to be her friend. That opportunity might be gone now.

Beth let out a low moan as thick, warm cum shot deep in to her womb. Jack filled her and every twitch of his cock, every spurt of cum made her insides spasm and ache to reach another release. The bed gave out, however, and she collapsed to the ground beneath her with Jack on top of her, supported by his arms while she let out a muffled laugh and a genuine smile. Her body ached in the best way possible - dull throbbing where Jack's mouth had entangled with the soft, pale flesh of her neck and chest, a sore ache in her core after rough, desperate, needy sex. She wanted to kiss him back, though - properly. She wanted to meld her mouth against his, meet his tongue with her own and trace the stubble of his jawline, the firm muscles of his abdomen, and every inch of his body with the delicate, fluttering touch of her fingers.

She let out another moan, this one softer and more tamed, as his lips pressed against her neck. Her body was still wired up from their passion, and all she wanted was to have her hands on him now. She called his name, hoping that maybe in this moment he would be willing to free her from her bindings. It would be just like Jack to keep her tied up, though. It would keep her on edge and every moment would continue to make her want him more - and Beth knew the way that he loved to play with her.

Adrian's lips turned in to a hunt of a smile and then grew outwards more, encited by the blush creeping up Tara's probably very soft skin. If she'd ever been the blushing type, her face may have responded in the same way as the beautiful brunette beside her. She wasn't, though - she was usually pretty good at keeping embarassment hidden, and the little flutters that came with having someone so easy to look at and get along with tucked so close to her own body.

"You're sorry for thinking I'm pretty?" There was a hint of teasing in her tone, just enough to clue Tara in on the fact that she'd made less a mess of herself than she thought. She'd never considered herself cute, not even vaguely attractive. Sure, she'd heard it from others before but... Well, she found it hard to believe. That didn't stop the way the back of her mouth dried and the subtle weight that formed in her chest, begging her to breathe a little deeper and keep her eyes honed in on the girl beside her. The way she stammered over such simple words... Well, straight girls didn't think twice about it, but she'd spoke like that more than once when her words had came faster than her brain had thought things through.

The next thing Adrian did was definitely not thought through, not in the least. In one smooth motion, Adrian raised her head from Tara's shoulder, cupped the woman's cheek with her thumb tracing along her jawline and her remaining fingers pressed gently to her cheek, and with a deliberate but soft motion, Adrian's lightly chapped lips pressed against Tara's. Her shoulders tensed in that moment, realizing just how little she had thought this through. What if she was seeing signs where there were no signs to see? What if she'd just completely ruined whatever friendship they were going to have? Fuck.

She had to stick around long enough to see how Tara's lips would react to her own.

It went without saying, but Jack would prefer to have Beth tied up all day long. Hell, even more than that, he would be happier to at least have her gagged all day long. That was something to think about. Regretfully, he decided that it was finally time to untie his sweet Beth. Out of his pocket, he pulled out his pocket knife and then cut the zip tie off her wrist first. When it was gone, Jack pressed a kiss to both wrists, both palms, and the back of both her hands. The next step was to cut the ties from her feet and there he kissed both ankles and both feet. When that was finished, he got to the part he REALLY didn’t want to do.

Reaching behind of her head, he untied the scarf and pulled it away from her mouth. Smiling at the blonde, he pressed a proper kiss to her mouth. His two fingers were running down the front of her body to tease her clit playfully. “I love you so much. You’re just so hot when you’re all tied up and gagged. I couldn’t help myself.” Jack smiled, stating what was quite obvious. Anytime that Beth would be tied up for any reason whether it was this or if they were just teasing, he would end up fucking her. He could remember last Halloween with him being a police officer and Beth being a prisoner, making her walk around in cuffs all day. That was one hell of a time. “Are you okay though? I think this went very well considering where we were a few minutes ago.” He chuckled and nuzzled his nose against her, the love just radiating from him to Beth.

The next words to leave Adrian’s mouth didn’t help Tara. She was trying to answer to that but a bead of sweat formed on her forehead and she couldn’t breathe. She wasn’t sorry for saying that she was beautiful because she truly thought that, she was sorry for not making sure she wasn’t straight- or something like that. Honestly, Tara didn’t know what to say and when she felt the weight of her head move from her shoulders, she thought that she screwed up and that Adrian was leaving her side. She was almost starting to look away when her eyes grew wide and her breath hitched in her throat. She kissed her?! Oh my God! Tara was too shocked to respond but once it registered, she was kissing her back.

Not only did she kiss Adrian back, but she slowly placed a hand on the woman’s cheek and smiled against her mouth. This was amazing! It went better than she could have ever imagined. Her lips were chapped and rough but her own were softer and sweet considering she hadn’t always been out on her own without proper supplies. Tara didn’t want to pull back from the kiss but when she did, a giddy smile was on her ace. She can’t remember the last time she smiled so big to be honest.

“Wow… that was amazing. And for that… I’m not sorry.” She finally gained the courage to be a little bit more open with Adrian. Good God, this woman was amazing. Adrian may have been afraid that she damaged their friendship but she could not be more from the truth. Tara was unmistakably happy about this and she wanted more actually but for now she lay her own head on Adrian’s shoulder. “I’ve never been kissed so well…” Tara spoke and giggled, looking into Adrian’s eyes.

Piece by piece, she was freed from her bindings and Beth used the first few moments of freedom to stretch her limbs and the first moment with her mouth was spent ravelling her lips with Jack's in a real, loving kiss as his fingers trailed down her midline. When they found the bundle of nerves between her lips, she let out a moan and arched her hips slightly in to his touch. She cupped her hands on his cheeks, caressing the flesh that not too long ago she had feared she would never get to see again. She should have never even thought such things - there were very few things she was certain of in this world, but Jack keeping her safe and by his side was one of them.

"I know you couldn't." She laughed and it was a light, fluttery noise. At first, when things had been going down, she hadn't even thought about it - once they had reached safety, though, all bets were off and while she hadn't expected Jack's lustful reaction it wasn't surprising.

"I'm good now. We're good." Her breathing was still heavy, deep and abdominal, rising her belly with every inhale. Her fingers lingered on his face, taking in the contours of his cheeks, his jaw. The face she's memorized lingered above her and she couldn't tear her baby blue eyes from him even if she wanted to.

She'd almost pulled away, split from the other girl and, quite frankly, dashed. Adrian was glad that she didn't, though, because it didn't take long before Tara's lips became receptive and Adrian almost melted under the touch when Tara's fingers traced the contours of her face. She didn't want to stop it - she wanted to sink in to the other woman. That wasn't a viable option, though - she'd gotten ahead of herself even kissing the woman. They were still virtually strangers, given the minimal amount of time near each other, and she'd been ballsy enough simply kissing Tara in the first place.

She... She really liked it. Tara had liked it, and now the slightest blush began to rise and creep up Adrian's olive toned face. Actually thinking about it, that had been one of the most gutsy moves that she'd made in a long time, and there had been quite the risk associated with it. Adrian blindly took a risk, and for the first time in a long time there was a positive aftermath. Silently, she thanked whatever omniscient being potentially looked down on this world and offered Tara just as giddy of a smile.

"Really?" She broke their eye contact to look over at her fingers, which now drummed in an even beat against her thigh, and then her dark gaze returned to Tara's figure once more.

The world was certainly a strange place. In mere minutes, Jack and Beth went from running for their lives to having hot, passionate sex. Nonetheless when Jack considered everything, he was happy. They made it out of Terminus alive and unharmed. Additionally, they were able to have some kinky sex once reaching safety. How could he dare complain? For the next few minutes, he just simply sat quietly beside of the blonde and caressed her body with his. Now was the time he could just sit back and think about all of his love that he held for this girl. No matter how bad things may be, they were going to make something out of their lives.

Finally, he shifted a little and started to search around for the scattered clothing. Chuckling, he turned to look at Beth one more time. “I guess we should go ahead and get dressed. Sometime soon we’ll be able to relax hopefully but I know that Rick will want everyone ready to go in the morning.” This was only a temporary safe haven and Jack knew that. Now, as for where they would go after here, he was totally lost and confused. He couldn’t really imagine what was happening next.

After becoming dressed again, he returned to his girlfriend’s side and tightly wrapped her up into his arms. Not saying a word, he just pecked kisses all over every single inch of her face until he filled it up with kisses. Happy as ever, he leaned his forehead down onto hers and started playing with her hair.

Gently, Tara giggled and nodded her head at Adrian. “Yeah, really. I feel like it’s okay to tell you this now. The very second I entered that train car back at Terminus and saw you, I felt like I wanted to kiss you. I’m honest when I say that you are the most beautiful girl I’ve seen in a long time. I wish I could have helped you save your family but at least we did make it out so there’s one good thing about this.” Tara offered with a smile before placing her hand onto her knee, keeping her hand stationary.

“I really hope that our kiss wasn’t just a one-time thing though. I kinda want to make out with you some more and I want to get to know you better. Besides, we’re here in this thing together now, might as well make the most of it, yeah?” Now Tara was feeling more confident than ever. All the times her heart had been broken in the past didn’t matter. Only Adrian mattered. All Tara wanted to do was find some peace and happiness in this world and as of right now it seemed she could do that with this woman. Hopefully she felt the same way because Tara needed someone in her life, she needed someone to lean on and to hold and to kiss. She couldn’t pass up this chance and while this might be moving things too fast, the zombie apocalypse had happened and they nearly died today but didn’t so anything was possible, she supposed. It was her turn to try and be bold.

Life was good, all things considered, and Beth had no desire to untangle her limbs from her lover's when Jack spoke up. Jack had a point, though - this place was nothing but temporary, and they would quickly be vacating once everyone had a chance to rest. Where were they going to go next? It felt like just yesterday they had lost the prison and now their new sanctuary had turned out to be a bust. What else was left in the world - were they fated to roam aimlessly like the dead around them, or would a safe haven find them once again?

She could do it, whatever it ended up being, as long as Jack would be by her side throughout it. Beth redressed and used her fingers to half-heartedly fix the mess that her long blonde hair had become. Her fingers had just fallen from her locks when Jack approached her, tall and handsome with those eyes that she could just melt in to, and wrapped her in his hold. She grinned up at him and returned the caring touch. Her arms wrapped loose around his neck, each resting with the side of her pinky finger against his neck, his fingers curled in to his hair and her thumb lightly caressing his neck.

"Where do you think we'll go next?" She asked in a soft voice that was almost a whisper. Her eyes said what her words didn't: is there anywhere left to go? They both had already been taken away from the box car when the conversation about Washington had came up, leaving her in the dark about that and, frankly, clueless about how they were going to proceed.

was no time left in the world to pine and ponder, and even if there was Adrian had done enough of that pre-infection that she deserved the break that she was getting. Tara was the first time she had tried anything with anyone since she lost Jaspen, and somehow she'd managed on the luck of the draw to find someone as beautiful as Tara - that was something to be gleeful about. So she leaned back against Tara, her shoulder pressed to the other woman's and her face was lit with a smile. She'd been drawn to Tara so quickly, and the trust had came so easily... This was right. It had to be right.

"I think we can make it happen more often." Adrian shrugged. Her attempt to be nonchalant was ruined by the almost giddy smile that ruled her lips and the way her heavy lidded eyes were locked on the woman beside her. "I mean, if that's what you want. I wouldn't say no to an attractive woman wanting to be close to me, especially when that woman just so happens to be you. I'm glad we met... Something good had to come out of this chaos, and I'm glad it was meeting you."

“Honestly, I don’t know where we are going to go, Beth.” Jack answered with a shrug of his shoulders. It was true, though, and in all honesty no one really knew what the plan was. Actually, the plan was just surviving day-to-day and take life as it goes. He figured that they would keep on walking and hope to find some food or water or shelter along the way. There wasn’t really anything else to do other than that. “No matter what happens though, I love you and I’m going to be right by your side. I know how close I was to losing you today and I refuse to ever let it happen again.” Jack stated firmly, leaning into her touch with a broad smile on his lips, pressing a kiss down onto her lips.

Before they could do anything else though, there was a knock at the door and it creaked open quietly. “Okay you guys… we’re starting to head out now. We want to try and get as far as we can before night fall.” It was Maggie who gave the couple a knowing look. Surprisingly instead of Maggie acting chaste towards Jack, she was always kind to him and even when she knew that he was having sex with her sister, she acted like she didn’t know anything. Maggie, just like the other members of the Greene family, had accepted him into the family long ago.

After nodding to Maggie, Jack glanced down to the blonde and took both her hands in his. “Well, I guess we better get going then.” He spoke, smiling down at her. He hoped they made some good progress before the night was over so he reached down and laced their fingers together before pulling her on out with him to fall in with the rest of the group.

“Aw… those are the sweetest things that anyone has ever said to me.” Tara basically beamed in a gentle voice. By this point, she just needed to hug Adrian and she did. It was obvious that this lovely woman was not the kind to openly show her emotions so easily so when she was able to get so much out of Adrian, it brought a smile to her face and made her feel so happy. Their moment together was cut short however. Rick was going around and gathering everyone up. He stopped by the two women, explaining they need to travel as far as they can before it becomes dark. He also welcomed both the women into the group, making a point to speak to Tara saying he knew she didn’t want to have any part in the prison attack. Ever gracious, Tara thanked him and then walked in line with Adrian.

She felt so safe when around this woman… and calm. Those were two things she seldom felt anymore. Since everyone else was rather quiet and listening for things around them, she kept silent too and was glancing over to her side at Adrian now and again, giving her a small smile. Her hand was on her knife as she kept it out in case it was necessary. The group was hurt by the whole experience since they didn’t have all of their weapons at the moment but for now they would have to make due with what they have.

"I know." If there was one thing left in this mess of a world that Beth Greene could trust, it was that Jack would stay by her side no matter what. She couldn't imagine a world where she walked without him at her side. On the same note she couldn't see a world where he walked without her, which was a troublesome thought each time that it struck her. He would die for her, he would die to kill anyone who tried to take her away from him. She knew it.

She wanted to hold on to him a moment longer, kiss him for an eternity but Maggie was right - it was time to get moving and not time to sit and dawdle. She was thankful to have her sister still around - and even more thankful that Maggie was willing to turn the other cheek when it came to Jack. (There had still been a... rather fun talk between the two siblings back when Maggie first found out that her baby sister was no longer innocent. And another the first time that Maggie had seen the imprints left by rope bindings on Beth's wrists - that had been even more interesting. Ever since, though, Maggie had been nothing but supportive - especially after the infection struck.) They left the little cabin and, after meeting back up with everyone, the adventure to who knows where began.

If Rick hadn't interrupted, Adrian would have let herself stay encased in Tara's hold for... well, probably forever if she could. That wasn't an option though, for many reasons, so instead she reluctantly released the other woman. They were on their way out now - heading to wherever they could make it to before nightfall, and hopefully finding somewhere good to spend the night at some point. She walked at Tara's side, leaving barely even a foot of space between them. They would make it work. It was hard for Adrian to stay super positive, but she needed to have faith in something - Washington would be that thing.

Adrian was currently weaponless and that kept her on edge, though. There were safety in numbers, but that didn't change how vulnerable she felt with no weapon in hand. Minutes faded in to each other as the eclectic group wandered, and on occasion Adrian would look over towards Tara beside her, or subtley inched closer to her. She took her time silently watching the group, attempting to recall names and relationships and things that would matter to her now that she was a part of the group.

Then the silence was broken by a sudden scream, catching the attention of all of the group.

The next few hours went rather smoothly with the only danger being a lone walker popping up here and there. Most everyone was in their own little world talking to close friends and passing the time. Jack stood right with Beth and held tightly to her hand while they walked. Tara enjoyed sharing a few laughs, smiles, and stories with Adrian, feeling her bond grow closer and closer between them. Suddenly, everyone was brought to attention when they heard cries for help.

Rick didn’t want to help at first but Carl along with a couple others from the group convinced him to help. Jack was definitely encouraging the idea to help whomever was in trouble. Especially after Terminus, he realized how important it was to be kind and to look out for other people in a time like this. If anything was ever to be done about this world then they would have to help each other out. On the other hand, Tara was afraid. What if it was a trap? She walked so close to Adrian that they were rubbing shoulders and she had to bite down on her lip.

The group made it through the woods and found the origin of the scream. Judging by the man’s clothing, he was a preacher of some sort and looked to be unarmed. He kept screaming for help and the group walked forward and quickly dismantled the walkers that surrounded him on the rock. Even when everything was clear, the group knew to form a perimeter and they all still looked distrustfully at the frightened man. It could indeed be a trap and they all knew it.

The preacher was clean shaved with neat clothes. When he jumped down, the preacher vomited when asked if he was okay and then introduced himself as Father Gabriel Stokes. He didn’t carry any weapons because the word of God was all the protection he needed which earned him a retort from Daryl. Gabriel asked if they had any food but there were just a few nuts that they could spare. He finally admitted that he stayed in his church that was well stocked for a canned food event that never arrived because of the outbreak. Next, after Rick searched Gabriel, he asked the three questions from the prison.

"How many walkers have you killed?"

"Not any, actually."

Rick continued with "How many people have you killed?"

"None." Gabriel replies

"Why?"

"Because the Lord abhors violence."

Rick presses him: "What have you done? We’ve all done something."

"I am a sinner, I sin almost every day. But those sins I confess them to God, not strangers."

Jack kept silent the entire time and watched what was transpiring in front of him. He made sure to keep his blonde girlfriend very close to him and make sure that she was okay and that there was nothing else that might harm her.
